Today, in all its glory, the left wing rag The New Republic went so far as to suggest the Obama Administration break out the tanks, and do some killing of Republicans, to “put the boot on the throats” of the Republicans in the House of Representatives. Actor James Woods tweeted the adage to me a few weeks ago, if you scratch away the surface of a leftist, you expose a fascist. Nowhere is this more evident and proven than the suggestion by The New Republic’s Senior Editor Julia Ioffe’s suggestion that Obama act as Boris Yeltsin did when he shot up Russia’s Parliament building with T-72 tanks.
I have now heard it all. I have seen it all. What we are witnessing is what “The Great One” Mark Levin calls “Soft Tyranny.” Such tyranny is a slow walk to 25% of our population being murdered, as Stalin, Pot, Mao, and Castro did, to name just a few of the most illustrious and storied Marxist “revolutionaries” who murdered all of those who couldn’t be “retrained”…as Obama crony Bill Ayers promised to do in his manifesto. CBS Polling shows when the government shut down back in November 1995, 51 percent of Americans blamed the Republicans in Congress, while 28 blamed President Bill Clinton.
And what are those numbers today? 44% blame GOP, 35% blame Obama, and 17% blame both.  Imagine what the polling would be if the media reporting was neutral.
But the media was able to find an OFA organizer who signed up for Obamacare.  Only there was one little issue they didn’t share.  His premium TRIPLED. (more…)

Effective one second past midnight this morning anything that happens will be because the U.S. Federal Government shut down.

If you don’t believe me, just watch television.   It will be live 24/7….
A wounded water buffalo was spotted trying to give birth on the dangerous Serengeti Plain, CNN International will soon report the cause is the shutdown of the U.S. federal government.   A man in Wisconsin missed his bus because the battery in his alarm clock ran out; Damn that John Boehner. A drawbridge near Baton Rouge Louisiana got stuck this morning – MSNBC confirms the GOP caused that.
In New York, a once joyful fifth grade teacher’s chalk broke in half right when she was about to use it on the blackboard; Peter King erupts in fury – ABC has live coverage.    If the stock market climbs, or falls, it’ll be all Ted Cruz’s fault – And NBC will be there live to walk you through it.   When the planes arrive/depart typically late, now CBS will report it’s because of Paul Ryan’s entrenched ideology – last week notsomuch. Late last night the House of Representatives voted upon the version of the Continuing Resolution bill which they originally sent to the Senate, which the Senate then returned back to the House with the Obamacare defunding mechanism stripped.
The House held two vote counts – adding two amendments to the returned Senate Version.

WASHINGTON — The Senate on Friday passed a resolution that would fund the government through Nov. 15 and provide funding for Obamacare.
One week ago, the House passed a government funding bill that funded the government through Dec. 15 and defunded Obamacare. Over the vocal and longwinded — 21 hours and 19 minutes to be exact — objections of Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, a majority of senators voted to amend the House bill to include funding for the health-care plan, set to be implemented next week. (more…)

Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and John Cornyn (R-TX) — the top two Republican leaders in the U.S. Senate — announced yesterday that they will support “cloture” on the government funding bill, giving Harry Reid and the Democrats a procedural green light to fund Obamacare with only 50 votes. […] We knew Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn weren’t with us when they voted to fund Obamacare earlier this year. But then, under pressure from grassroots, they said they supported the effort to defund it. They even ran political ads in their home states to make voters think they were on their side.
But now, faced with the prospect of having to fight for the things they claim to believe, these Senate leaders have surrendered.
Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn have surrendered to Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and the Democrats. More importantly, they have surrendered to Obamacare — the biggest job killer in America. (link to do something about it)
It’s not an official Senate filibuster, because Harry Reid is using a procedural rules trick to strip the Obamacare defunding segment from the House Bill.    Ted Cruz is vowing to speak as long as possible to stop the “cloture” vote.
The “Cloture Vote”, is a pre-vote of sorts to enable Harry Reid to remove the Obamacare aspect with a simple 51 votes – Which Harry Reid has with Democrats alone.
Therefore anyone who votes for cloture is actually voting to support the Harry Reid process, and voting to support, ie. fund,  Obamacare.
This is where the Decepticons in the Republican ranks will show their manipulative faces.   They will vote for “cloture”, which relies on Republican support because the threshold is 61 votes affirming, then turn around and vote against the bill’s passage because their votes are not needed because the threshold drops to 51 votes (a simple majority) to pass.
So the Decepticons like Mitch McConnell will vote for cloture, then vote against the bill, and return to their campaign base claiming they voted against the bill.    The truth is they voted to support the bill, then voted against it only because after cloture it will pass without their support. Think about this carefully.    President Obama will negotiate with the al-Qaeda Taliban in Afghanistan; he will support the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt;  he has officially engaged in negotiations with Vladimir Putin (Russia) over Syria;  he has proclaimed a diplomatic approach toward Syrian WMD and even Iranian nuclear ambitions,…
….. but he calls any congressional member who would advocate for a balanced budget, reductions in size of government, or fiscal prudence, “Terrorists”.
