::BUMPED:: Interestingly, as expected, the various social media platforms and internet connectivity therein are sketchy and intermittent as the critical USA midterm election nears.
As we have done in the past, today we solicit reader feedback on the sentiment in/around your area as the midterm election nears. What is your local sense of the tone, voter intent, enthusiasm or lack therein, in the last 72 48 hours before election day on Tuesday.
This request comes with a very important and specific qualifier, DO NOT USE social media to gauge or report your sense of where things stand. The reasoning is simple; the algorithm you are exposed to is not necessarily the reality of your environment. The information being fed into the data system that holds your specific attributes, is purchased and created specifically to provide you a specific sense.
Whether you realize it or not, your algorithm is the culmination of specific identifiable definitions of your personage and your interests. That algorithm id may or may not represent you, but it is sold and used in order to influence your decision-making on a variety of aspects from commerce (purchasing decisions) to behavioral modification (influences).
As a consequence, the best view of the reality in your vicinity is what you personally experience in real life, not during your travels on the internet. With that thought in mind, what is your sense of the voting intent in/around your proximity?
From my own travels what I can identify with ease is the promoted narrative about abundant enthusiasm for leftist candidates is mostly false. I cannot identify any substantive enthusiasm to vote for the communist agenda of the Democrat Socialists or any other manufactured policy of the political left in real life.
Sure, online and in the media, there is a specific pipeline of information operating at maximum output to promote a blue wave premise. However, in real life -during my travels- I do not see that same level of enthusiasm claimed by oppositional advocates.
To the contrary, the datapoints and behavior of the political left indicate they are ‘trying’ to generate the illusion of something, as well as create some self-fulfilling prophecies. The appearances of President Obama in Detroit on behalf of Al-Sayed is an example. Obama is only deployed to get out the black vote. If the Muslim Brotherhood candidate was ahead in Michigan, Obama simply wouldn’t be there.
Additionally, the proverbial lawn sign indicators do not lend favor to a blue wave narrative.
That said, Georgia and Texas will be interesting to watch play out. Both of those states have been targeted by the various BLM, and DSA level operatives for several years. However, while they have succeeded in Georgia, they have not had a similar success in Texas – despite the lone star state being specifically vulnerable due to the Bush camp’s comfort with the larger socialist cause.
President Trump, DHS, ICE, DOJ and HSI have done all they can to trigger fear amid the professional population of election operatives who deploy fraudulent ballot operations as part of their electoral strategy. The Lawfare alliance has been spending billions to counteract this election integrity operation. It is yet to be determined which one will ultimately end up tipping the scale amid the various illegal voter systems.
What we can judge with some accuracy is the sense in our vicinity. What is the intent of our family? What do our neighbors say? What is the sense within our local community? These are measures of real sentiments that can be adequately assembled to provide a larger predictive sense.

Writing from the lower Hudson Valley of Nueva York about 50 miles north of the Mandami Caliphate.
My town and county are still slight majority Red/Republican but sadly we have been getting a lot of Commie DemonRats moving up from the City permanently since the days of the Scamdemic.
These new Dems – of all ages- are much different than the Dems of old that used to rule my town. The newbies are very far left and in reality they are DSAs more than straight Dems.
Our biggest and most important race is to get rid of the Bucktooth Bimbo from Buffalo, also known as Kathy Hokum currenty the worst governor in the US. Bruce Blakeman is a dream candidate and it looks like he has a really good chance if we can overcome the damn cheating.
Another big race is to get Congressman Mike Lawler back into office and both sides are pumping in a ton of money. I have been boots on the ground knocking on doors for Mike and other local Repubs and I must say, that people are very upset with the price of home heating oil as the weather is just starting to get chilly. It is very hard for me to get them to listen to all the great things that PT has done for our country. All they care about is heating their homes and feeding their families which of course is understandable.
Based on what I’m seeing on the streets, I think the Repubs have a good fighting chance. I really don’t feel like a Blue wave is coming, that’s for sure.
I feel for you Seneca.
I’m in the great shithole of Williamstown Massachusetts.
I hate these people.
Hey Patrick, I graduated from the local high school in said locale.
Vote straight R, we might actually get someone elected!
How did you end up there?
Yep, blueMA. We shall see. Praying for a Scott Brown style upset.
Already voted early, straight R, and will be waving Mike Minogue signs at the polls on Tuesday.
Haven’t been out much among normal people, very busy with other things, but the lefties I know have been quiet all year around me.
My sort of centrist suburb has a lot more R signs than D.
I’ll have more to report when actually watching the cars roll in and counting thumbs up.
Plymouth County. Voted early with my spouse and made sure our 19 year old voted as well (all conservative).
I’ve been pounding the watering holes reminded people that, ‘If you don’t vote, you’re actually giving the moonbats like Maura Healy (candidate for worst Governor in the nation) two votes – i.e., the vote YOU didn’t cast and a vote submitted by your moonbat neighbor).
It’s sad here though, I see no presence from the MA GOP
Greetings Seneca the Elder!!!
Best Wishes and Thanks for the update!
The younger generation has not been taught the truth about Communism/Socialism/Envy Politics.
Back in my Catholic grade school in the 1950’s, knowing about the Iron Curtain and the brutalities and murders and veritable slavery involved was de rigueur for the curriculum from Grade 6 onward. The 1956 Hungarian Revolt was still in the air back then, followed 12 years later by the Prague Spring.
I debated a Hippy about whether or not the Communist Russians had a right to enslave the Czechs and the rest of Eastern Europe.
It was sad back then that such a debate was even possible: how could anyone think that Communism was “just another way to live” ?
Anyway…Stay Optimistic!
My wife was able to get out of communist Poland in 1983. We were in a tavern and she was explaining to a youth of 26 years of age that you do not want communism. Communism means shortages. Empty shelves. Poor quality goods, etc. The young man did not say anything. He had a blank look on his face as if he did not comprehend what was said. Maybe he was thinking about shortages of marijuana.
No, he wasn’t thinking about shortages of marijuana but rather the fact that everything your wife said to him he was in contrast to everything he had beentaught in school (by the communists
No, he wasn’t thinking about shortahes of marijuana but rather that EVEYTHING your wife told him was in direct contrast with EVERYTHING that the had been taught by the communists in his 25 years of indoctrination, er, “education” in school.
Keep it up. Gat slapped in the face enough times you start to wonder why? Kudos to your wife!
No. He thinks we are retards. He’s too brain-numbed to recognize the truth. He went to college but delivers packages for Bezos.
😂
He just looked at me, uncomprehendingly, like a cow at a passing train.
Like that simile.
As long as they have the latest IPhone, food which comes from where? they are OK. they truly own nothing and don’t care a hoot to own anything. Jobs are throw away jobs, no incentive to work toward something. Very sad state of America’s youth today.
Remember the old saying “Never trust anyone over 30”?
Perhaps the kids of today are living that idea but only in a different manner?
Greetings dear Ausonius and I hope all is well with you!
Always good to read your comments.
I think hochul and pritztker are trying to out do each other in the worst governor race competition.
One’s too plump and the other’s face is melting!🫠
Mancow Muller had some reallly good shows, back in the day…talking about running for President….he was so convincing, a lot of people believed him.
I think he was the first to call the one…”pumpkin face” or “pumpking head”…
And Darren Baily is giving his last efforts in Chicago and Pritzker is going to southern IL…I hope he turns hearts.
Remind them, “Under my policies energy costs will necessarily skyrocket.” Obama. The democratic plan skyrockets energy permanently. Trumps spike, lower then Biden’s, is temporary and necessitated by Iranian pursuit of nuclear weapons. Trillions of dollars of investments in the US due to Trump. The ME uniting against Iran, under Trump, etc…
Bang head off wall!
They don’t care about that. It’s what’s right here, right now. Combine with TDS and it’s a poison apple.
Exactly. People who just paid $1200 for 200 gallons of heating oil are not into the subtleties and nuances of politics.
People need to learn that speculators and wall street are responsible for ALL fuels.
Almost all products we consume everyday are owned by a handful of globalists companies in the U.S. who are doing everything possible to keep prices artificially inflated.
PDJT has nothing to do with gas prices or food prices.
Seneca when anyone expresses concerns about the price of heating oil and gas ask them one question: have them remind you about all the things the democrats have done in the last 5 years to lower the cost of gas and oil?.….after you get no response ask ok the last 10 years?….ok how about the last 50 years? They haven’t done crap about reducing the cost.
By the way the Iran matter hasn’t affected the cost of gas and oil in the US one bit, what’s costing us more is the lack of refinery processing. Three of them closed by biden, no new refinery capacity until Trump’s current term -in LA and Tx. In the last 18 years you’ve had 12 years of war on energy by obama and biden and 6 years of proper policy by Trump. Unfortunately it takes about 6 years to get a refinery built and beginning production. You can close one in about a year!
When we start talking about the Green New Scam which in NY is the Climate Protection act of 2019, all I have to point out is right here in our back yard- namely the closure of Indian Point nuclear power plant. Until fairly recently IP supplied some 25% of electricity for NY city and Downstate. Now they are scrambling to keep the Grid from failing due to the increased demand. NY is getting to be as bad as California when it comes to climate BS, gas and electric costs. The Bucktooth Bimbo has given us something like 30 electric rate increases by allowing the electric companies to bill their customers for all the Net Zero BS.
Greetings again Seneca the Elder!
The DEMS are not unlike the big bully who grabs your hand and slaps you with it, saying: “Stop hitting yourself!”
They damage everything and then blame your consumption for everything.
“Bucktooth Bimbo” – I believe there was one of those “drive-in” movies with that title! 🙂
The question now is if there are a majority of morons who will vote for communists because they are angry about fuel and grocery prices. That’s the last thing a reasonable person would do. The media certainly makes it sound that way.
Same here just a rural red dump though. No new investments except battery parks to destroy our water for our future, after the green bs took our landscape. Hocum has destroyed it all and our local republicans are either on the take or too dumb/poor to fight. Apathy abounds!
“Whether you realize it or not, your algorithm is the culmination of specific identifiable definitions of your personage and your interests. That algorithm id may or may not represent you, but it is sold and used in order to influence your decision-making on a variety of aspects from commerce (purchasing decisions) to behavioral modification (influences).”
Yeah? Maybe. All I get are obtuse ads I hate and don’t care about. I’m voting Republican and no new spending locally just as always. Nothing in the ads give me cause to do otherwise.
Well maybe that clip of the leftist child killer putting on a medical coat looking like the blonde doctor on scrubs got me for a split second before I realized what I was looking at. I vote for scrubs reruns. That’s as close as I come. Thanks for reminding me of a funny TV show while I vote for whoever Trump endorses.
The ads I get a lot of are gambling ads on your phone.
My wife plays those silly things constantly.
I live in Bright, Indiana, Dearborn County, very solid Republican. Went 10/31 early voting they have set up. Waited at least an hour to vote, long lines and from what I seen, no apathy. I’m in Erin Houchins district, she is not losing. We sit right next to Cincinnati, Ohio. It was good to see, a safe area but lots of people coming out, I know antidotal, but made me feel better.
NE Michigan here, Lower Peninsula:
Nowhere near as many yard signs as usual around here, even for a midterm, which I find odd. Even odder is the way in which Abdul yard signs have suddenly cropped out out of nowhere like weeds over the last week or so. This is a pretty solidly Republican area, with a “small l” libertarian bent.
In ’24 the Dems incessantly ran this ad in our area talking about Project 2025 and how President Trump was coming for the teachers, probably because they took the number of teachers living here at face value. That backfired on them BIG TIME on Election Day as the thought of the widely reviled public school teachers finally facing justice sent turn-out sky high. THIS year they seemed to repeat the mistake with a ad defending vaccines, involving Bill Gates of all people. If any one group is more hated here than teachers, it’s nurses. The ad stopped airing recently, so they may have realized the mistake, but it would be funny if one of their own ads motivated a deluge of MAGA again.

When Democrat candidates endorse the Republican,
I think Michigan is going to finish red.
If you don’t like my source, choose your own.

The left never seems to realize they don’t pick their own candidates. And now the left closed ranks to boot Steven’s out. The Dems always eat their own who step out of line.
Are people watching the news in Michigan?
When you are out there voting in your state, realize something special may well be happening at the same time in Michigan. The Muslim brotherhood candidate who forgot to taqiyya his campaign across the finish line rejected support and now they turn on him.
So smile while you vote. Maybe even laugh a little!
I’m glued to the Tony Kinnett podcast every weekday – he has a very good optimistic and witty take on how that area is doing.
Me too. I like his news reports and humor
My subdivision in Northeast Ohio contains about 100 homes. Usually during election season the homes with political signs number in the 90’s and are fairly evenly split, but lean right. This year there are NO Dem signs and very few Republican signs. The Akron Beacon Journal has been doing their best to tilt influence toward Amy Acton for Governor.
Would say that the majority of media outlets are doing all they can to help their fellow Dims.
Drunks don’t make good governors 😉
Helena MT. Small circle of friends. All strongly motivated to vote for the republicans and against the crazy democrats. Don’t know how representative.
I heard that Bozeman was full of liberals now. Is that true?
Always has been. University town.
Bozangeles aka Bozeman.
Lawyer Jeff Childers of the Coffee & COVID
newsletter put this query to ask an AI (Grok works best – Grok.com) to get you a personalized voter guide for conservatives. Just put in your own address and copy and paste the text below. I tried it for myself in BC and a daughter in CO and it produces great results.
Look up my precinct from my street address: [your address].
Draft me an attractive, easy-to-use, personalized voter guide for the November 3rd election. Begin by finding a sample ballot from my local supervisor of elections. End with a printable 1-page cheat sheet laid out like the ballot that I can take with me when voting.
List my early voting locations, dates, and hours (closest first), my Election Day polling place, and the mail-ballot request deadline.
Flag the candidates and issues I am likely to vote for, using what you already know about me plus: I am a pro-Christian, pro-border-enforcement, pro-capitalism, pro-medical-freedom, pro-life, pro-Trump, pro-merit, anti-communism, anti-socialism, anti-globalism, anti-woke, anti-DEI, Rush Limbaugh-style small-government conservative.
For each candidate/issue, tell me what the state/local GOP recommends. If a candidate or issue is endorsed or recommended by state/local Democratic party, mark it with a red warning label to that effect.
For candidates: Who has endorsed each recommended candidate?
For issues/amendments/initiatives: Quote reliable conservative organizations (e.g. Heritage, Federalist, or state-level conservative groups) that issued voter guides. Highlight if there are disagreements or “pro/con” choices.
For appointed judges (retention votes): identify who appointed them. Check news reports from decisions and evaluate whether the judge’s rulings have displayed a liberal/progressive character. Let me know if any reliable conservative organization is for/against retention.
For incumbent elected judges: check news reports and let me know if any partisan leaning is apparent, or if the judge has any history of releasing violent criminals who reoffended. Give me whatever statistics are available (age, length of service, political registration).
For new judicial candidates: check public sources (donation records, voting history, news) and the candidate’s website and list or guess at their political party.
If a section doesn’t apply to my ballot, say so and skip it. Link a source for every recommendation. If you cannot verify a fact (a candidate’s party, an endorsement, a ruling), say so. Do not guess.
Ask me questions if necessary to make recommendations on particular candidates or issues.
Childers is stellar. Never miss that substack since I found it…

Hope this helps some make a choice.
I started through the US site sent me to NY, printed a 7 page ballot and couldn’t find anything on most of the local people or even they WNY district court running 3 party lines, pick 4.
My town below Youngstown is yard signs are split. Everyone I talk to is still red all the way.
Something i thought was really weird and sent up suspicious cat alert.
After Amy lockdown mom commercial a group started having protests about all the sex offenders in the area. They were handing out maps of where they live. Just to bring awareness no other reason.
Then the is lock down Amy drunk videos came out. If you laughed or commented you are now protecting petofiles.
After Amy lockdown mom commercial a group started having protests about all the sex offenders in the area. They were handing out maps of where they live.
At least you know where all the Dims live now 😉
I’m just across the border from you in PA in the Shenango Valley, which is in Mercer County which has voted Red for many elections now.
On the talk radio station, WPIC it think its 97.3, I hear radio ads of our Gov Shatpiro lying about, or truncating statements from his opponent. Honestly, the worst governer ever. Couldn’t pass a budget I think for three years. Now he’s signing bills like crazy. Suddenly, he wants to do something and is not constipated when it comes time for election.
Voting straight line Republican as really no one is contesting who is in office now.
Republican Precinct Committeemen in my AZ county are keeping our heads down and working to get out the vote. Our goal is 83% of registered Republicans to return their ballots. We’re canvassing registered Republicans who have received mail ballots. And praying for our state.
I live in Missouri. My town is very liberal. Hardly any Republicans running against the democrat candidates. So not much choice. Will vote Red where I can and leave the rest blank. Thank you, Mr. President for all you are doing for the country and on our behalf. We must all do our part and vote!!!
Boulder, CO Dem activist get out the vote in Dem and migres neighborhood. Nuts on overpass dirty expletive Trump. No agreement tooting from drivers.
Superior, CO nuts at 4 corners of busy intersection with expletive Trump signs but NO enthusiastic agreement tooting from drivers.
[…”the proverbial lawn sign indicators”…]
There were very scant, if ANY, yard signs out for Biden in 2020 from what I could see …but the cheaters installed him anyway.
I can only pray enough has been done to reduce the cheating, and that enough people turn out for the GOP on Tuesday to overcome it. That’s what it will come down to: stopping the fraud, AND PRAYER.
Apologize I can’t answer Sundance’s question as my family and friends all seem to avoid talking politics. It never used to be so divisive. Friggin’ Marxists!
We are on Day 3 of a tour of Ohio’s Lake Erie coast, having stopped in Toledo for a Toledo Symphony concert (Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto #3 and the Dvorak Symphony #9: excellent playing and standing ovations for both works from a nearly packed house) and in Cleveland for a Cleveland Orchestra concert (Haydn Symphony #80 was the warm-up for the Mahler Symphony #5, which also brought down the nearly packed Severance Hall).
As is typical, some of the 6-digit to 7-digit properties owned by Limousine Leftists on Lake Erie had mushroomed with DEM signs, although to be sure, more Republican signs were visible than in earlier times.
As is also typical, some of the shabbier properties in Toledo and Cleveland had Republican signs, along with the owners of modest, well-kept echt Middle-Class houses.
Conspicuous by their absence were signs in ethnic areas: possibly landlords do not allow them (?). In such areas one did see billboards – bought by the DEM Party of course – ridiculing President TRUMP for starting “wars” (plural) and for high prices.
On vacant land one could also see pro-DEM banners, again bought by professional DEMS.
On the other hand, we did overhear a few conversations about the ad using the mother of DEM candidate for governor Amy Acton to warn against voting for her lying, mentally ill daughter. Seemingly Republican voters did not like the ad.
“He didn’t need to do that!”
Whether they would still vote for him was unknown.
Again, to use the phrase “as is typical,” it was THE DEMS who began telling the world that her mother was claiming this because of a child-abuse scandal in the family when Acton was 12.
And so, THE DEMS are claiming that the Vivek Ramaswamy – Republicans “cruelly brought up the sexual abuse suffered by Amy Acton into the campaign.”
2000 + years ago, Quintus Cicero counseled his younger brother Marcus Cicero on how to survive the mortal dangers of Roman politics in the dying republic, and one famous piece of advice was:
“Whenever possible, accuse your opponents of the things which you yourself have committed.”
Anyway, areas which are known to be majority Republican seemed as enthusiastic as ever!
What am I to infer from getting text messages from democratic phone #s like California and Washington state – telling me that trump has betrayed me? Never have a gotten them before, ever. 3 days straight today. Is that desperation showing its face ?
Yes, I’ve been bombarded with them.
I never get ads from anyone, mainly because I still use a dumb phone and have a land line, and use a hard wired laptop. I have enough problems with spinal stenonsis to keep me busy all day and night.
I have an android phone and a hardwired laptop and never get ads.
Here in deep blue MA. See a lot of protestors out here urging people to vote from the highways, intersections, etc, always with lefty TDS slogans.
Of interest to me, in Metrowest, about 25 mi from Boston. I haven’t seen any signs for Maura Healey (governor) or Ed Markey (senator). I do see a decent number of signs for Mike Minogue and John? Deaton, the Republican contenders. Nor do I see signs for the 3rd party candidates, who like Decoy Dan, are just on the ballot to be spoilers.
I can’t decide if this means people aren’t enthused about voting for the dems or if it means Maura and Ed know they’ve got it locked up just with votes in Boston, so they’re saving their money and not wasting it on signs.
Kuhner?
I’m in a very red county in southeast New Mexico. Unfortunately, the majority Dems gerrymandered out on of our small cities which means getting Republican representation will be almost impossible (we used to have one for the state). This is a super Democrat controlled state with approximately 60% Democrat versus 33% Republican. We are not a poor state because of the Oil and Gas but over 50% of the population is on some sort of Government assistance. Stupid people getting “free” handouts will never vote Red.
Coming from the one of this most infamous libtard States in the Union; Good ‘ol Oregon, it appears that all the “hooplah” and other BS about “neck & neck” races between the communists and conservatives is just that: Hooplah & BULLSH*T!!
I sense, see & feel (and after having spoke w/so many of my fellow (note: local) citizens) that “The Progressive Communists” are about to get their asses handed to them on Tuesday (well, but, in Oregon due to the rampant fraud associated with mail-in ballots it will be a few WEEKS longer) where will see (depending upon how much fraud they can actually get away with THIS year) a COMPLETE ass-kicking imposed upon our POS incumbent Governor, Tina Kotek and her LBGQTX+ Cohorts. Surprisingly, even the Libtard Party appears to be upset with her “Governance” nowadays, so we can only hope that the people counting the “mail-ins” are not quite as corrupt as she is. Time will tell and we shall she in 2 more days, er, weeks, maybe…
We shall “she,” see in 2 more days… Mis-type fatigue, Forgive me, please.
Sitting here believing the rest of our Country is going to expose, once again, the BIG Lie that the Communists are running “neck & nack” and “too close to call” races. My ass. Come on Tuesday!
The Tree of Liberty is watching…
That somewhat large* medium blue bump at the top east corner of Minnesota is half of what makes up the arrowhead region of this socialist state. That is where I live.
This is the first year that conservative signage is on par with leftist signage, with conservative signs being put out earlier than leftist signs.
And due to Minnesota wanting early voting — with actually using a voting machine and not just turning in ballots early — Minnesota Voters Alliance sued our Secretary of State, Steve-the-socialist-Simon, insisting that voting laws had to cover every voting machine being used.
It was an emergency case that went before the Minnesota Supreme Court, and Minnesota Voters Alliance — and the citizens of Minnesota — won.
So every voting machine in place throughout the state right now absolutely has to have a Republican and a Democrat election judge there to make sure no funny business is taking place.
County Auditors balked, but they had no choice but to hire Reps and Dems to stand guard over the machines and votes fed into them.
What I’ve heard from people at those machines, the voting is crazy heavy, and it appears the leftists are voting early.
I pray conservatives flood the polling places on Tuesday.
*Small in comparison with the Chicao bump that reaches to the stratosphere.
North Central Oklahoma, suburbs of OKC.
My friends and fam are all R and cannot imagine voting any other way.
Most of the employees are simply not interested in a midterm.
Those that are, are talking about their support of Trump.
Solidly red, but the Southside of OKC will be much more blue.
People are looking at the governor contest here in NYS much more closely than usual. Hochul is not very popular, an understatement, but the blue machine in NYS, led by NYC politics and the unions, is nearly unstoppable unless there is a huge revolt by the Dem voters. Other than that, it’s business as usual here in WNY. Blue rules the landscape as far as can be seen in the cities over here in the west part of NY.
The WNY union swallowed us whole. I hear the guys talking most are angry work has come to a standstill and seems the money the District Union is running low. They’ve gone underground and very few participate in the activities they offer.
Here in Minnesota I don’t think it will go well, but we could be surprised. The incredible fraud clearly bothers people, but too many people are invested in and benefit from the corruption to assume there will be any possibility that the fraudsters will be defeated. If anyone goes down, it will be Keith Ellison, the incredibly corrupt attorney general.
Writing from San Diego, CA. The Christian Hispanic community is quiet about election. My retired teacher neighbor is leftist. My daughter’s retiree neighbor and his wife are leftist. In my apartment complex there are military, families and grandparents who are pro-Trump. My chilkdren and their famlies are pro-President Trump. The local megachurch is silent from the pulpit on this, but vocal about supporting Biblical values. The Intercessory Prayer Team (3 of us) prayed for the election today, discernment for people, Holy Spirit moving each one to vote – with urgency. Others have been told, for polarization sake, not to get involved in “politics.” My comment is that God ordained government in Scriptures, and our government was modeled on that. Of course He is concerned about anything that will affect people, and His church – which does not exist in a vacuum. If we don’t occupy the leadership of culture, we default by our silence.
Reporting in from a battleground state that doesn’t have a high-profile race like TX or MI.
This is the least amount of election signs I’ve seen in over ten years for either party. Even the houses that usually have Democrat and pro-union signs up every election have nothing this year. Election mail is pretty sparse as well. I got one or two mailers from the top ballot (D) candidate; zero from the top (R) candidate. Feels like my entire state has been abandoned while political resources are diverted to other states.
I’m in NE Texas and here too the yard signs are just so few even for a mid term. The ads and the flyers there are loads of those but the yard signs nowhere
Is the Republican ESTABLISHMENT “REALLY” making an effort to win the mid-terms?
They might have tried passing a few very popular items into law if that were the case, so no.
In my area of PA which is considered Democrat territory there are few campaign signs and lots of goofy mailings that are lying to us.
Voted on Friday in East Central Fl. Pretty busy and this is a solid red county. Voted for the property tax amendment. It will be a clean sweep in Florida.
a friend sent this to me, knowing I like to find the positive in whatever is going on when out and about and she’s knows I will be working the polls on election da and aid “aha, you will need this”. It’s by Ernest Holmes from 1953; in reading it, it is very reminiscent to what President Trump and Treasury Secretary Bessent are doing when saying “economic security is national security” so I may adjust a few words to make it into a prayer or keep it as one of those positive affirmation thought contemplations to hold onto while working the polls.
“My Prayer for My Country:
“Believing in the Divine Destiny of the United States of America and in the preservation of liberty, security and self-expression for all, I offer this, my prayer for my country:
“I know that Divine Intelligence governs the destiny of the United States of America, directing the thought and the activity of all who guide its affairs.
“I know that success, prosperity, and happiness are the gifts of freedom and the divine heritage of everyone in this country: that they are now operating in the affairs of every individual in this country;
“I know that Divine Guidance enlightens the collective mind of the people of this country, causing it to know that economic security may come to all without the loss of either personal freedom or individual self-expression. I know that no one can believe or be led to believe that personal freedom must be surrendered in order to insure economic security for all;
“The All-knowing Mind contains the answer to every problem which confronts this country. I know that every leader in this country is now directed by this All-knowing Mind and has the knowledge of a complete solution to every problem. Each is impelled to act upon this knowledge to the end that abundance, security, and peace shall come to all.
“And I know that this Spiritual Democracy shall endure, guaranteeing to everyone in this country personal liberty, happiness, and self-expression.”
(Ernest Holmes, along with a few others, in the early half of the 1900’s, including Norman Vincent Peale, were in the forefront of what came to be known as the new thought movement, a work to train the mind to see and impart a positive approach instead of assuming at first the negative approach to people and events as a way to establish healthy boundaries with others.)
Surprising lack of political activity on the streets of Manhattan. Maybe it’s the marathon, Halloween, IDK but I expected to be harassed on every corner. A group of 20- something’s waving signs and telling people to vote for the Bucktooth Bimbo (Thanks, Seneca), but that’s it. We know how NYC will vote, but there’s an obvious lack of election excitement.
Media seems to be behaving themselves better this election. No outright lies, as we saw with Reuters selling its soul to Democrats for $$$ in 2024. “Kamala has widened her lead on Trump to 7 points!”, just before the election.

Southern Missouri strongly conservative. Many pro-life signs to reverse last election of abortion to 9 months. Republican Women door-knocking like crazy.
Oregon. Just outside PDX metro area, if there is a battleground county, this is it. In town, No lawnsigns except for local stuff. Farmers are 100% R . BIG push from CA move-ins and PDX Metro to flip. Too much wine here…
Rural farmers in rural NY are Dems in my area.
Truly unknown, not a social being. Eyes have unfortunately recently viewed ignorance in many. Not just the young, all ages. Did not realize how many people just do not care. They know, they sincerely do not care. Pray every day for intelligence, common sense. Praying for the best. It is truly in God’s hands.
Sundance, I appreciate the way you explained the pipeline of online delusion provided by cleverly crafted algorithms.
From the People’s Republic of Northern Virginia, nothing has changed in the 40 years I’ve lived and voted here. I’ve watched the voters come to the voting tables with their sample Democrat ballots. They believe voting “D” is their duty. They approve every bond and constitutional amendment every time, which raises property taxes each time, and is why my mortgage is still not paid off. Yard signs are all for Democrats. Republican signs get stolen quickly. People here vote hard left, are comfortable with that, and there’s no changing it. What’s frustrating is that Northern VA and blue cities overwhelm the will of the rest of the state. Conservatives do vote, but we also know the results, so it seems futile. The Republican Party here and nationally could be doing so much more, but they haven’t and won’t. The Republican Party is a false front, a hollow shell, whose real loyalty is to the Democrats. There really should be a MAGA Party.
I live in Genesse county MI. It used to be a very blue area. I remember when Trump ran the first time, a lot of the neighbors had hand painted Trump signs. I am very rural on 60 acres. This year, someone across the street has a sign for Elf Sayed. Don’t know them. Never met them. It makes me uneasy to have that near me. I pray that he does not win. In the 80s, we bought a parcel of land from the City of Dearborn. We developed it & built condos & townhouse rentals. In 2005, the city was unrecognizable. We sold the property & moved north.
Those people have invaded every space.
In Charlotte North Carolina, presidential level turnout or even more at my early voting location. A 30 minute wait. Page after page of Democrats running unopposed.
I voted early downtown St. Petersburg, Fl. Efficient, steady stream, less than 15 minutes. Crowded. Cheek to cheek (if you know what I mean) walking through standup rows of voting stands. Polite, economically, physically, age and racially diverse group voting. Exterior blocked off areas for campaigning crowded with signs, no candidates visible, party tent, couple of signature gatherers. I typically vote on the day of. I wanted to avoid any drama or mayhem Tuesday. Former Governor Charlie Crist challenging first black mayor of St Petersburg, Fl, Ken Welch (never showed up at the Pinellas County emergency management center for either Hurricane Helene or Hurricane Milton).
I’m in Brunswick County, NC. While the county is absorbing thousands and thousands of Northerners fleeing here (for the weather, of course:), I believe we are solidly red.
I’m in middle TN, seated between liberal Knoxville and Nashville. Today’s media poll asked folks what party they most likely align with: democrats were at 35%, republicans were at 26%, independents at 18% and the rest didn’t want to say. I know the right doesn’t normally answer these polls but this state is slowly being converted. Too many lefties are bringing their political views and ways here.
Live in a Dumocrat City in South Texas and went to vote with my Wife (early vote) last week. Enthusiasm was high as were the crowds and for the first time in years the MAGA Republicans were out in force to early vote! I wouldn’t believe the polls as they indicate Texas is in trouble and could possibly turn blue. Not Happening! Lines were long, lot’s of sourpuss faces (dum’s) and a whole lot of smiles and conversation from the R’s waiting in line for a half hour plus to vote! I believe we’re in good shape! Our U.S. Congressman Candidate De La Cruz was there as was our State Rep Candidate Borrego! They appeared confident and were very talkative with the voters as they arrived! Was good to meet them and discuss things!
Living in the Lakes Region of NH. Yard signs for the R’s running are being stolen. The cops have who it is on video but don’t seem to want to do anything about it.
However! The signs being stolen are on a busy corner of public land and many are noticing that one day there are about 15 signs for the R’s and the next day they are gone. This raises eyebrows and hopefully opens some eyes to the antics of the left.
Meanwhile, we have been trying to expose the dirty trick on the left of insinuating our candidates are part of the Free State movement.
Sentiment here (where we have a republican Govenor and controlled state legislature) is to continue the push to get rid of the D’s as much as possible whereever we can.
The Maine legislature will remain Communist and Hannah Pingree (Chellie’s daughter) will become governor. She was the architect of many of Mill’s Woke agenda policies. That combined with all the Somalis and the influx since Covid of the Leftists from MA, NY & NJ here does not bode well for the state. The only silver lining is that nationally Collins will win handily and LePage will win the House seat in the 2nd District.
I’m from Massachusetts.
80% of lawn signs in my neighborhood are for democrats.
Central NC here. (East of Raleigh.) Where we live is basically rural “suburbia”…in other words, we are in a well established neighborhood with larger homes sitting on 2-4 acres of land between us. However, in recent years, developers have built MANY townhomes, apts, and large custom homes. BUT, despite the spike in population…I see NO YARD SIGNS at all! And, no bumper stickers. The only politcal yard signs we see are the tons of them stuck at busy corners, and on or off ramps from the big highways. They are a big blend of both parties, although they seem to be mostly the republicans running. People pretty much keep to themselves in our area. So, no door-knockers.
My husband and I plan to vote tomorrow on ELECTION DAY. It will be interesting to see how busy our polling place is.
Good Luck to everyone!
Greetings from Northeast Georgia!
I hate to say it but Sen Ossof, with his $3k makeup, appears to be a heavy favorite to retain his title. His campaign has blanketed the airwaves for what feels like an entire year. Mike Collins on the other hand doesn’t look like he is relying on tv ads because you never see them. I voted straight R down the line in early voting. The polling station was not crowded on a Friday at lunch time. Probably saw 10 voters come and go during my short time there.
For GA Gov, Rick Jackson (R) and Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) are a lot closer than what anyone could have imagined. She was Atlanta’s Mayor during all the riots and went AWOL during all of it. Now she admits to it and even says her therapy has told her that “sometimes you just need to take time for yourself.” She is trying to fail up. Hopefully they can’t cheat a victory for her.
Missing the main point. Why have we accepted the false premise of republican turnout will win the election? Have you not p[aid attention to how close most of these races are? Just close enough for as few thousand votes here or a few thousand votes there…to make the difference and swing the contest to the Dems. Why have we accepted that our tourn out has to be “Too big to rig?” Where was the outrage in 2024 when Republicans lost 2 to 6 senate races in states that Trump won by double digits? Are we supposed to believe that in those races tens of thousands of voters split their vote and voted for Trump and then also voted for the Dem Senate candidate? Elections have been stolen for along time. Now it is just easier. Just pinpoint a few areas of the country such a Detriot/Dearborn, Madison/Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Fulton County/Atlanta and Maricopa County/Phoenix and you swing the election. Just go back and look and see how Al Frankin won his first term in the Senate. Just keep finding/manufacturing and counting ballots until he wins and the spineless/clueless Republican concedes.
Thank god Florida cracked down on the cheating in Miami Date, Broward and Palm Beach counties and look at what has happened. Imagine if the Rino Kemp and his Trump hating Sec of State Rattsburger had done the same in Fulton County.
The Democrats at almost every state level collude with each other in other states, along with their vigorous judicial partners, to thwart and revers the Trump Agenda. Our country is most likely 15% Radical Dem activists, 20% legacy clueless Dems, with major TDS, who vote D no matter what, 15% to 20% Rino, Trump hating Republicans who like their fat happy congressional jobs and campaign about doing something, then do nothing, and then the rest is us. Imagine if our voting was actually safe, secure and accurate ? Our country would be so much better off. Our grandchildren’s futures would be much more promising. The American dream would be in a much better spot. I hope some people in the right positions read this. We need the 20 to 30 solidly Red states to come together to enact voter integrity reforms all at the same time and as similar to each other as possible. The Governors and Secretary’s of State for all these states need to hash this out and put it into place. Get rid of the machines. Use watermarked paper ballots. Limit mail in voting and if you mail in your vote, you relinquish your anonymous vote for the sake of voting integrity. Smaller counting precinct and NO central counting locations. Eliminate voting season to a max early voting of 10 days. Make election day a holiday. Employ Fractal technology to clean up the voter rolls. No more 100 registered voters coming from a vacant lot. Are you listening Cleta Mitchell? Are you listening Catherine Engelbrecht? Also remove open primaries and get rid of Ranked Choice Voting.
I don’t understand why people are assuming that all Republicans are voting Republican.
Writing from behind enemy lines in Kaliforstan. In the heart of the Central Valley, there are more signs of reds than blues than I’be seen for many years..I’m 80. One of the signs I see since I’m from a generational teaching family, is the turning of our teachers here in the Valley from Dims to MAGA. Mostly because of the stupid rules coming out of Sacto. Like putting on the school calendar two Muslim holidays!!. The state turned one party several years ago and the slide down has been frighteningly quick. Another sign, our local Catholic Parish school has seen an uptick in enrollment. That is new and welcome. Now for the bad news. We know firsthand that our elections are entirely corrupt. So seeing all the good signs, we’ve also seen that the cheating is now out in the open no hiding. Our only hope is that Trumps ICE raids, more incarceration for poll workers who cheat and the general lessening of the illegal population. I knew we had a lot of illegal residents, but these local ICE raids have really opened my eyes. Recently in a small town south of us. ICE conducted a large roundup. The next morning the local Walmart Super Store was almost empty A local man that I’ve used for yard clean up that I thought was legal is making plans. He told me that he and his wife are making plans to self deport back to his village. He says the idea of leaving his family and being jailed is not an option. Ive watched TikTok videos of folks who’ve self deported and are happy with their new life. So we will see. I continue to enjoy my family, my church and my little community. I also hope and pray that God takes me home before my country becomes communist/socialist/leftard.
I live in McKinney TX and have only met one person who probably will vote Democrat. All others are voting Red and very anti-DSA. Turnout in early voting has been very high!
Voted last week (Texas). A fairly long line considering the small town I live in. It was hard to judge from the mix of folks in line… which used to not be that difficult to judge, so I am not sure what that really means. That’s not true, I know what it means, but I don’t want to say it out loud.
My town had disallowed much in the way of new development commercially for years, but maybe ~2yrs ago, this was opened up and its been a ridiculous amount of development all around since. Ever since then, I’ve voted against the council-folks that opened it all up. Hasn’t worked, they’re still in there, but I only get one vote. So, there’s no telling what/who is coming in. I suspect the same infection from the left-coast as everywhere else in Texas is dealing with.
I’ll never understand how people can rationalize voting in a way that obviously destroys their locale with terrible tax-burdens and lax-on-crime initiatives, to the point they feel the need to move away… and then vote the exact same way as they did where their voting patterns ruined things.
I get that ‘many’ refugees from the lefty hot-zones are actually legitimately trying to escape the lefty hell-holes b/c they realize those policies are terrible and want to go somewhere saner that they agree with. But, there is an unfortunate knock-on effect of pulling some of the lefty-zombies along with them as the lefty dolts flee simply b/c they just hear ‘how great it is in [currently non-lefty state of ‘whatever’].. and they want to be apart of ‘the new thing!’.
It works like this: “rational/sane person realizes California is lost… moves to Texas. They tell cousin-Bob, who is still kind of stuck in CA due to ‘reasons’. Bob tells co-worker Joe that his cousin says Texas is great. Joe tells his friend-circle… and so the message spreads. ” The odds that these peoples’ friend circles are 100% comprised of rational people is zero. So, the word gets out and some of the lefty locusts move to greener fields.
Those dolts get here, realize it isn’t currently ‘left enough’ for their tastes, and start voting towards their lefty goals… all the while sending messages back to their friends in their lefty-origins “hey, this new place is pretty great… cheap to live, safe!, decent schools!… but there’s some stodgy conservative politics in place that we could override if more of ‘us’ moved here and made it better!”
Exactly what happened to Austin/Hill-Country area of Texas. Austin was always kind of ‘weird’, but it was mostly harmless. Now it is a lefty cesspool. The small towns w/in 30-ish miles of Austin are now being overrun. The pattern is repeating all over Texas from what I hear.
Texas was quite blue back in the day (blue-collar blue, not left-coast blue), and not all that long ago. Anyone remember Ann Richards?… long line of Dems here before her. LBJ. The roots of the Dems are still in the ground here, waiting for the right sprinkle unfortunately.
The lesson should be “move to Texas and then shut-up about it”. Radio silence, tell no one if you think its great. Actually, tell everyone it is terrible and they shouldn’t move here.. it was a huge mistake and you regret it. Feel free to view all of this through the lens of whatever other state you may reside in that’s currently at least relatively sane/conservative still. I live in Texas, so that’s my only viewpoint. I’m sure Florida is dealing with the same kind of infestation, and so on.
I hear Wyoming is still reasonable?… 🙂
