Congresswoman Fredrica Wilson (D-FL) famously said “Trayvon… was racially profiled”:

She’s right. He was.
But there’s a part where she was wrong.
He was not “racially profiled” by George Zimmerman (even the FBI attested to that);  No, he was racially profiled by the Miami-Dade School Police Department.  Both Miami-Dade School Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, and his hire Miami-Dade School Police Chief, Charles Hurley, racially profiled Trayvon Martin.

Carvalho and Hurley intentionally used Trayvon’s race and gender to manipulate, and falsify, his engagements with the Miami-Dade Police. They hid his criminal conduct; They never tried to correct his behavior; They profiled Trayvon for diversionary racist treatment because he was black, and because he was a black teen boy. (more…)

I had to stay up to watch the dawn break in Egypt – The sheer excitement of THIS MOMENT is beyond incredible for us to see in our lifetime. So many thoughts, and I just have to put some onto typeset. First – against the backdrop of our challenge:

Borrowing from Mike Vanderboegh – This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.

But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.

And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later. We will live forever, like the Spartans at Thermopylae, in sacred memory.

The U.S. media has infected the electorate with a Kardashian mindset for so long they will have no appropriate constitution to be able to explain what is happening in Egypt right now.
This day is a natural fulfillment of humanities highest aspiration: FREEDOM.
The greatest and most significant lie every perpetually sold upon the American body electorate is the premise the freedom continuum is based on a lack of freedom on the right side of the political spectrum  – “right-wing extremists” –  This is so false, and it is abundantly and joyously evident at this very moment in what you are bearing witness to in Egypt. WASHINGTON DC – The Supreme Court struck down Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act on Tuesday, the provision of the landmark civil rights law that designates which parts of the country must have changes to their voting laws cleared by the federal government or in federal court.

The 5-4 ruling, authored by Chief Justice John Roberts and joined by Justices Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, ruled in Shelby County v. Holder that “things have changed dramatically” in the South in the nearly 50 years since the Voting Rights Act was signed in 1965.

The court’s opinion said it did not strike down the act of Congress “lightly,” and said it “took care to avoid ruling on the constitutionality of the Voting Rights Act” in a separate case back in 2009. “Congress could have updated the coverage formula at that time, but did not do so. Its failure to act leaves us today with no choice but to declare [Section 4] unconstitutional. The formula in that section can no longer be used as a basis for subjecting jurisdictions to preclearance.” (more…)

Washington DC (Ammoland.com) —  In the final push toward the Senate gun control vote on April 17 2013, Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) admitted Democrats were flying Newtown families into DC to break a Republican filibuster–he also admitted that those families did not know they were going to be used for that purpose until the plane carrying them was already in the air.

The families thought they were coming to DC to oppose “high capacity” magazines.  But according to The New York Times, once the families were in the air aboard Air Force One, Murphy let them know they would used “to get a vote on a vote.”

And an array of prototype American Secret Service officers – complete with dark suits sunglasses and ear pieces – discretely kept a watchful an eye on arrivals and departures.

(VIA New York Post) Hip-hop artist The Game has got your back … side.

Days after New Jersey resort town Wildwood passed a law banning saggy pants on its boardwalk, the rapper slammed the legislation as “racist” and promised to pick up the tab for the first five people ticketed.

In an interview with TMZ, The Game compared the law, passed Wednesday that imposes a $25 fine for first offenders and up to $200 for repeat offenders, to “slave days” and encouraged people to openly flout the law.

“N***** should sag down to their socks out there. They trying to get people to not sag, please. Can’t tell people how to wear their f***ing clothes. What time are we in? This ain’t the f***ing slave days. F*** that.”  (read more)

Here we go, we knew this was going to happen.   Both Russia and Iran (strategic economic BFF’s) are allied with the Assad regime.   The U.N. has declared they will remain neutral on the matter.   The United States has come out in support of al-Qaeda (Islamist rebels).  So the chess pieces are all in place for another proxy war.

Supporting the U.S. benefitted Islamists you have Turkey, Egypt, Libya and more recently Jordan.   Supporting the other side (Assad) you have Hezbollah, Iran and Russia.

It’s Afghanistan all over again.   Giddy up 🙁

SYRIA – Iran has decided to send a first contingent of 4,000 Iranian Revolutionary Guards to Syria to support President Bashar Assad’s forces against the largely Sunni rebellion, The Independent reported Sunday.

The British newspaper quoted pro-Iranian sources “which have been deeply involved in the Islamic Republic’s security” as saying that Tehran is now fully committed to preserving Assad’s regime, even to the extent of proposing to open up a new ‘Syrian’ front on the Golan Heights against Israel.
