Two months ago we first mentioned how the national head-to-head “media polling” would eventually have to be walked back to find alignment with reality.
The various presentations by NBC (Mark Murray), ABC, CBS, FOX (Daron Shaw), NYT and WSJ are all structurally useless. Media polls are simply ‘agenda polls‘, put out by media operations and fraught with the same ideological biases and intents as their mainstream broadcasts.
The latest Rasmussen poll shows Trump over Clinton 44/37, and with Independent voters: Trump leads Clinton 43/30:

When supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg targeted Donald Trump with her personal attacks and invectives many people were stunned.
Many pundits and Legal-types were aghast, because the ramifications were/are considerable given the number of executive branch legal issues that end up in SCOTUS. Under a President Trump, Ginsburg’s clear bias would mean solid arguments she would have to recuse herself from any cases originating within a Trump administration.
But from Justice Ginsburg’s perspective she has nothing to lose. Ginsburg is all in for Hillary Clinton to win the election. Ginsburg is not going to remain on the court in 2017. Ergo the “recuse issue” is moot. The next POTUS is going to select Gingsburg’s replacement. The walk-back is face saving for the cause only.

“On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised and I regret making them,” Justice Ginsburg said in a statement on Thursday. “Judges should avoid commenting on a candidate for public office. In the future I will be more circumspect.” (link)
Quinnipiac has released its latest Battleground State Polling (full pdf below). The polling is for the states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Donald Trump beats Hillary Clinton head-to-head in each state’s poll.
However, the shock data -sure to turn heads- is the reality of third party candidates hurting Hillary Clinton far more than Donald Trump:

Yeah, I know, it takes a few minutes to gain your breath after you stop laughing.
Not only does this mean the best laid plans of the #NeverTrump crew have backfired, but it also means Team Clinton will now have to work diligently to get rid of Gary Johnson and Jill Stein if she is to have any remote possibility of winning the general election.
‘Splodey does not seem to adequately give enough emphasis to the stompy feet anxiety sure to be upsetting the globalists. This is the best summer election ever.

Sam Nunberg was a former aide/adviser to the Donald Trump campaign who was fired for previously leaking salacious inflammatory information to the media. Upon firing Nunberg went to join the Ted Cruz campaign, and became a Cruz advocate.
Later it was revealed that Nunberg had written very divisive and racist material to his social media.
Everyone distanced themselves from him.
However, as a result of the initial firing, Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against Nunberg for violating the terms of a confidentiality agreement. Mr. Nunberg is facing the very real possibility of losing a $10 million civil action.
That’s the backdrop for today, when, in an effort to skirt around the non-disclosure confidentiality agreement, Nunberg, through his lawyers, leaked their response to the Trump lawsuit.
The Associated Press was first out of the gate with the story. The remaining MSM, generally -and transparently- biased against Trump, latched on to the leaked Nunberg legal filing and is now selling their own custom story about the lawsuit.

Ginsburg’s ridicule is very symptomatic of the liberal mind and likely to end up aiding Trump in multiple ways.
It was only a month ago when, in an effort to make Trump seem unreasonable, pundits were spending several hours/days of airtime and column inches explaining how federal judges are impartial and completely unbiased in response to Trump’s arguments about the Mexican judge in the Trump University legal matter.
Now those same pundits and voices are having to defend the transparently obvious bias within the snarky comments presented by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg:
“He is a faker,” she said of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, going point by point, as if presenting a legal brief. “He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. … How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that.”
It’s a Patrick Murray poll, so take it with the proverbial grain of salt – However, Monmouth University has recently polled a sample of Iowa voters (full pdf below) and finds Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton 44% to 42%:
