The generally awesome part of this is how President-Elect Donald Trump has made main stream broadcast and print journalism completely irrelevant.
Setting up direct and indirect communication channels to the wider U.S. electorate has completely upended corporate media. No candidate except Donald Trump could have pulled this off.

This is a really great interview.  Beyond the substance is something really remarkable that has been missing from GOP politics for a long time; the inherent camaraderie between a Vice-president and President.
It is simply impossible to fake optimism this sincere, and VPE Pence discusses both the substance and the larger optimistic outlook.

The bigger story here is that: A.) A U.S. President-Elect actually cares about blue collar jobs, and B.) United Technologies, ie. Carrier’s parent company, recognizes their best interests are now to focus on “America First”.

Trump made keeping manufacturing jobs in the United States his signature economic issue, and the decision by Carrier, the big air-conditioner company, to move 2,000 1,400 of them from Indiana to Mexico was a tailor-made talking point for him on the stump.

On Thursday, Mr. Trump and Mike Pence, Indiana’s governor and the vice-president elect, plan to appear at Carrier’s Indianapolis plant to announce they’ve struck a deal with the company to keep roughly half of the jobs in the state, according to officials with the transition team as well as Carrier. THIS IS CNN.  During a conversation about yesterday’s OSU terrorist attack carried out by a Somali refugee using a machete to attack students, CNN suggests that American women wear hijabs to show their solidarity with Somali Muslim terrorists.

Today it is unofficially announced that Elaine Chao will be nominated as President Donald Trump’s Transportation Secretary.

President-elect Donald Trump plans to nominate former Labor Secretary Elaine Chao to head the Transportation Department, a source with knowledge of the decision said on Tuesday. (link)

To understand the nomination we must remind ourselves of the real opposition to any America-First policy agenda.

Trump’s real enemy in his battle to replace the influence of Wall Street and K-Street is best exemplified within the U.S. Chamber of Commerce;… and more specifically by understanding U.S. CoC President Tom Donohue;… and even more specifically by understanding who Donohue pays off and uses to push his agenda, Senator Mitch McConnell.
For far too many years conservatives, ordinary Americans, have not fully grasped the usurpation within those who are professionally Republican.  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is the primary usurpation agent, the snake within the body politic; the representative personification of all that is corrupt on one side of the UniParty.  The symbiosis between McConnell and Donohue has been toxic to America’s interests.

It is jaw-dropping (to me personally), how many “conservative voices” cannot yet grasp the paradigm shift President-Elect Trump is creating within the architecture of government;  ie. competence and efficiency constructs to replace all prior political filters which were based on special interests, lobbyists, and corporate financial motivations.
Honey Badger Trump don’t give a s**t about all that came before, or customary norms, or the feelings of those within the systems being torn asunder.  Godzilla Trump is approaching this devoid of IOU’s and with a clear desk.
Donald Trump is building a team to execute an America-First agenda. Fullstop. Not to talk about it; not to consider the special interests of those within it; not to nuance, shift, nudge the proverbial action; not to meet with K-Street; not to negotiate a deal with Wall Street –  but rather to actually construct and implement a wide scale massive productive institutional change with all activity in government, with one guiding principle: what is in the American peoples’ largest and best interest.
