Last night on CNN Erin Burnett’s show “Out Front” had General Wesley Clark, Obama Foreign Policy propaganda spokesperson, and Jason Chaffetz, to discuss the Benghazi attack and the new State Dept e-mails.

Watch Clark try to defend the indefensible, avoid the unavoidable, and brazenly flat out lie to protect the administration.

Watch the angst he faces. What you note is a person who is ideologically conflicted. Paid to sell a specific narrative, yet he knows that his peers are watching him knowing that all he proclaims is pure propaganda. It is an interesting dynamic.

Pat Dollard has a great read regarding the Libyan arms and possible White House perceived discovery risk attaching the same concept of Fast and Furious to Libyan arms. It is something many here have also discussed. (CNSNews.com) – The White House is declining to say when President Barack Obama first  learned of three e-mails that the State Department sent to the White  House on Sept. 11, 2012, directly notifying the Executive Office of the  President that the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was under attack, that  U.S. Amb. Chris Stevens was at the Benghazi mission at the time of the  attack, and that the group Ansar al-Sharia had taken credit for the  attack.

The White House also declined to say when the president first met with the National Security Council after the Benghazi attack.

“I have been asked by one of our spokespeople to relay ‘that we  decline to comment,’” said White House National Security Staff aide  Debbie Bird in a written response to CNSNews.com.

Not only did they lie – They Watched Them Die

(Reuters) – Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.

The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks.

The brief emails also show how U.S. diplomats described the attack, even as it was still under way, to Washington. (more…)

Hire security guards amid the most hostile terroristic area in Libya and they don’t have guns or know how to shoot……  yeah, “not optimal”.

A 33-year-old individual referred to only has “Ali” was part of the February 17 Brigade’s four-man team guarding the Benghazi consulate on Sept 11. He says he and his team members had received “light” and “theoretical” training inside the consulate from time to time, but never experience shooting firearms. (more…)

He told them the TRUTH, al-Qaeda was thriving….  They can’t allow that.

“Islamic extremism appears to be on the rise in eastern Libya,” the ambassador wrote, adding that “the Al-Qaeda flag has been spotted several times flying over government buildings and training facilities…”

CBS Report: U.S. Had Predator Drone Over Benghazi As Attack Happened, “They Stood, And They Watched, And Our People Died”…  […]

CBS News has been told that, hours after the attack began, an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Benghazi, and that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft apparently observed the final hours of the protracted battle.

Americans Died – Obama Lied

WASHINGTON (AP) – The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month’s deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.

It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went. The Obama administration maintained publicly for a week that the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was a result of the mobs that staged less-deadly protests across the Muslim world around the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the U.S. (more…)
