Many are saying “Trump coulda or shoulda” or “If Trump woulda” comments. What spare energy or priorities did you see him wasting at any point in this presidential term? Who do you want as president instead of Donald Trump? Are you supporting the MAGA/constitutional platform or tearing it down? Or weakening it by criticizing and undermining the president?
Every conservative person giving negative comments toward Donald Trump needs to do a quick and thorough self assessment of their own character, their own work ethic, their own commitment to this country and to this president. Ask yourself, what projects or activities am I doing myself that are bringing this country in line with the principles of our Creator and the constitution of this republic?
Let us quit worrying about our reputation and be like Marco Rubio — support the man and lay down your life daily alongside him — first for the Lord, then for this great Nation that God has blessed us with through the sacrifice of others.
None of the negative armchair quarterbacks can name one person who could have accomplished what Donald Trump has — at any level. That is not emotion driven speculation — that is reasoned tabulation and reviewing data constantly
Our government is a constitutional republic. We the People have the power. We are not using it. I daresay none of us are using our power and resources for the sake of this country like Donald Trump is.
The signers of the Declaration pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor for this country. Which one of us here wants to step forward and show a greater commitment to this country by those measures — than Donald J Trump?
I still say our president fights harder and more consistently and tirelessly against 10 times more resistance than any other president. — to a miraculous degree.
If each of us in the 81+ million conservative population of this nation will give one tenth of the effort they spend criticizing him, and put that effort toward supporting MAGA and President Trump — with a willingness to respond to the pushback, then we will have unstoppable growth, morale, and productivity in this nation.

Even if they did convict the would get Vance, and their plan is to impeach Vance then to get the Speaker of the House into the Presidency. I doubt two year is enough to accomplish both but if they did it would fire up the base in 2028. It could also spark a civil war by their lawlessness.

Sure, there will be a teeth-clenchingly awful Christmas period where the DS posse take repeated victory laps, and assorted scumbags will dodge justice, but how will that help them in 2028? They will be demonstrably wrong about everything important, have done precious little but bloviate, be vindictive and incompetent, whilst having to deal with an increasingly powerful commie contingent whose influence will be decisive in a national election. Whereas MAGA will be in the reverse situation.
Disasters never happen in a vacuum, they are as a result of an accumulation of errors and failings that build to a critical moment, where often disparate events gain an awful synergy and synchronicity. As I get older I’m less inclined to waste my remaining time on fixating on the present or the past, as both are impossible to change. Visionary leaders could sometimes seize the moment, by discerning their outlines and grasping the implications of their being, but most resorted to old playbooks, dogmas and comforting rhetoric. President Trump is one of those visionaries, who takes guidance from the past to set a course to a future destination that few can realise or comprehend, beyond slogans and personal dreams.

America’s public education system sucks. No question. However, who is really to blame for it? Most states run their education systems in general regulations and decisions about curriculum and local school districts implement the regulations. Local school districts present the state wishes to the tax payers for their school budgets, to be then voted on. So who can change the state’s regulations? The voters that’s who, from their local budgets being defeated to their choices for their state govt. positions especially those who deal with state education.
Parents/voters have a lot of say in the education of their kids but in general they never use their power and then complain afterwards that the whole system is awful and doesn’t educate their kids. Times up parents/voters. You have the power, starting locally, to get things changed. DO IT.
The State and Federal government have way to much say along with the Teachers Union. You can watch the decline of education in the US from when the state started taxing and mandating (including revenue sharing and setting basic curriculum) to the Federal government establishing the Department of Education and also taxing and mandating (including revenue sharing and setting basic curriculum along with terrible school lunch programs). The government starts the indoctrination early with programs like Head start. Test score have went down every year since then.
Then there are the teacher unions.
The civil-rights movement changed what “education issues” meant’
Their employer was political.
Political activity protected the union’s institutional interests.
The unions developed a broader definition of their mission.
I have long advocated for returning the power to the local school boards.

But the liberal car talks to you and plays movies on its big screen. If you tow it to an independent mechanic, it will rat you out, and the police will send a squad car to take you away. It has modules with 25 different firmwares, each from a different factory in China, so any attempt to fix it yourself is futile, but there is a button to push to donate to Act Blue on the dash. That might work to get it going.
Regulating cars using CAFE standards et al was the Democrats’ way to shake down an industry. The car companies had to donate to the Dems or be regulated out of business. Yes, there should be no “federal mandate” on ethanol. Whenever the federal government requires a mandate for or against a good, it is an intervention in an otherwise free market to discriminate against other goods. Every time, this results in a deadweight loss to the markets.
The federal government provides some services, collects statistics, tests foods and drugs for purity, and it is justified in collecting some excise taxes to support this activity. However, mandating within markets to effect changes in behavior that sooth the vanity of assorted Karens should be verboten. Where is the public interest in adding ethanol to gasoline as a mandate? It was a liberal impulse than took on a life of its own.

I would agree. We are – and should be – Americans first and foremost.
There is a difference between being an American who has a Scottish heritage and a Scottish American for example, IMO.

And a new and big problem is current immigrants, whether legal or illegal, many are refusing to integrate in to American society and are actively working to change the US.
Part of the reason is all the foreign language help and no incentive to learn English. As an ex tax assessor, I used to run across people who claimed no English. I even asked if any family spoke English and some claimed NO. How does anyone own a home, pay bills, drive, work, and make sure they are not getting ripped off, if they have no English.
My bank voicemail is now answering in at least 3 languages. Why would they incentivize people to stay poor?

Way to many to call myself, celebrate separately, and not enough identify as, so I just call myself an American! I also have done a lot of genealogy and some in my family have done genetic testing (which I refuse to do).

That does not mean it has no limits. Creating excessive money can cause inflation and weaken confidence in the currency. Also, the Fed cannot create more physical goods, foreign currencies, or other scarce resources.
