“On Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:59 pm (EST) all USAID direct hire personnel will be placed on administrative leave globally, with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions, core leadership and specially designated programs. Essential personnel expected to continue working will be informed by Agency leadership by Thursday, February 6, at 3:00pm (EST).

For USAID personnel currently posted outside the United States, the Agency, in coordination with missions and the Department of State, is currently preparing a plan, in accordance with all applicable requirements and laws, under which the Agency would arrange and pay for return travel to the United States within 30 days and provide for the termination of PSC and ISC contracts that are not determined to be essential. The Agency will consider case-by-case exceptions and return travel extensions based on personal or family hardship, mobility or safety concerns, or other reasons. For example, the Agency will consider exceptions based on the timing of dependents’ school term, personal or familial medical needs, pregnancy, and other reasons. Further guidance on how to request an exception will be forthcoming.

With customary jaw affixed, Vivek “the slick” Ramaswamy spins his exit from DOGE as a matter of distinct differences in approach to the reduction of the federal workforce.  Proclaiming his grand grasp of constitutional wisdom, The Slick explains how he is likely to announce a run for further office in a magnanimous and valiant effort to advance the cause of federalism.

The office described is likely his entry into the Ohio GOP primary race for governor.  However, after waxing philosophically about the cultural deficits of the American work ethic that supports replacing Americans with H1B visa workers, preferably from India, the skeptical eyes toward The Slick may present in less support than his image of himself imagines.  We will see.  WATCH:

In related news.  Tucker Carlson’s son, Buckley Carlson, is going to be Deputy Press Secretary for Vivek Ramaswamy’s ex classmate at Yale, Vice President JD Vance.  Imagine that.  The network that originally assembled to generate the last, best hope for conservative mankind in ’28, remains enmeshed.

Silicon Valley Tech bros, Musk, Ellison, Thiel, Oracle, Palantir, Sacks, Don Jr and Carlson, quite a network of support.  Suspicious Cat wonder if Carlson ever weighed in on the Ramaswamy H1B stuff?

Not since Ted Cruz’s GOP nomination speech in 2016 had a political figure self-immolated with such tone-deaf stupidity as Vivek Ramaswamy when he blamed American culture as the justification why we need to import H1B tech workers.   It’s been all downhill from that apex.

On the day before President Trump’s inauguration, Ramaswamy announced he would be departing from the Dept of Govt Efficiency which he was tasked to lead with Elon Musk.

Normally, at this point we would say farewell and then forget about the guy. However, there are now numerous reports Ramaswamy intends to run for Ohio governor.  That would be a hot mess.

If Ramaswamy would win the GOP primary, which is debatable, he would be setting up Ohio for a democrat candidate to win in the general election.  The reality of things as they stand now is that a large percentage of the GOP base will not support Ramaswamy given his controversial remarks in support of H1B visas.

Vivek can continue trying to clean up his commentary, but he ends up in no better position than Ted Cruz and his “vote your values” nonsense at the convention.  There are certain times in a political career where success or failure is defined in a moment.  Ramaswamy, created a hot mess all around him for everyone with his H1B statements and protestations.

Elon Musk was quick to notice the toxic nature of the pro=H1B position and has been walking backwards ever since.  According to Politico, it was Elon Musk who wanted Ramaswamy to exit due to the public mess and distraction he created.  [LINK] Whether that is true or not, we don’t know.  However, it does seem possible.

I am very interested in this, in part due to what Suchir Balaji was working on, and in part due to what many people are now starting to recognize as the most valuable asset in the world of AI creation, MASS DATA COLLECTION.

Tucker Carlson sits down with Poornima Ramarao, the mother of Suchir Balaji, who was an AI engineer working with Sam Altman at OpenAI, and quite likely murdered for his concern about how the mass data was being captured.

The effectiveness of the AI construct is dependent on large scale mass data collection to frame the underlying information network the AI can review. The larger the data capture, the more accurate, effective and valuable the AI outcome is. More inputs equal more reviewable data, equal a more comprehensive outcome; that’s the value. Suchir Balaji became concerned that OpenAI was capturing “copyrighted” material as part of the input data flow. Suchir Balaji soon died under mysterious circumstances. Eh, this could get messy.

Apparently, Steve Bannon was talking to media in Italy and said some rather confrontational things about Elon Musk.

(CP) “I will have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day,” Bannon told the Italian daily Corriere della Sera this week. “He will not have a blue pass to the White House, he will not have full access to the White House, he will be like any other person.”

“He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” Bannon added. “Before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it; I’m not prepared to tolerate it anymore.”

[…] “This thing of the H-1B visas, it’s about the entire immigration system is gamed by the tech overlords, they use it to their advantage, the people are furious,” Bannon said, noting that “76 percent of engineers working in Silicon Valley are non-Americans.”

Elon Musk and his Twitter (X platform) engineers have an Artificial Intelligence (AI) user engagement and information system known as Grok. Essentially, you can ask AI Grok questions, and it provides responses based on the coded values of the engineers who built it.

Recently people have noticed a change on the Twitter (X) platform as Elon Musk announced the algorithm was being modified by his team.  So, people started to engage with Grok and ask questions about their user account, the status changes evident from the algorithmic modifications, and the AI learning that is coded by Musk’s engineers.  Essentially, asking the Grok AI: “How do you perceive me (through my content)?”

The responses from the xAI Grok system are starting to alarm everyone.

However, without direct insight into X’s algorithms or specific feedback from X, these are speculative based on general platform behavior towards negative content. When asked how to avoid the Twitter platform diminishing their user voice, a typical response from Grok:

“Don’t criticize your government, don’t criticize foreign governments, don’t talk about conspiracy theories, stop telling people to fuck off in the comments, and don’t accuse government officials or members of the media of malfeasance or dishonesty.”

These are the parameters built by Elon Musk and his Twitter engineers.

This is what controls the ‘reach of speech’ on the platform.  Now, it would be simply funny but there are serious layers that must be discussed here.

Folks, I know this is not a popular opinion, but I have always promised to call them exactly as the data aligns and as I see them unfolding.

Taking a position in support of Tommy Robinson, taking a strong position against Muslim rape gangs in the U.K., and taking a position in favor of Nigel Farage are not controversial positions in the world of MAGA.  In fact, they are popular positions widely held by all of us.  However, those positions have little bearing on OUR set of challenges in the USA.

For almost two years, there has been a background conversation with a handful of people watching the Silicon Valley network closely and monitoring every move and position they take.  They hold an entirely divergent set of motives that are not aligned with Making America Great Again behind this crew.

I’m simply saying for everyone to keep their eyes wide open, review THAT ARTICLE I just linked above and put it in the context of the issues and discussions we have had on these pages.  Remember, there are literally trillions at stake, and we have been duped too many times. The messaging within the attack in Las Vegas is very clear.  A Tesla Cyber Truck (Elon Musk) was used to attack the Trump Hotel.  Obviously, a targeted attack messaging the incoming presidency of Donald J Trump.  Meanwhile, Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is from Louisiana, the location of the earlier attack.

The attack in Las Vegas is now linked to the early morning terrorist attack in New Orleans where a truck, also loaded with improvised explosive materials and devices ran into a crowd celebrating the New Year, killing 15.  Both the Tesla Cyber Truck and the pickup truck in New Orleans were rented through the app Turo.

[…] “I’m being told that New Orleans was rented through Turo, and so was ours,” Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill said in a press conference. “That’s another coincidence that absolutely is continuing to bear from our investigation that we have to continue to look into.”

Turo is a car-sharing app that lets private car owners rent out their vehicles. It is similar to Airbnb or Vrbo but for vehicles instead of homes. (more)
