Folks, I know this is not a popular opinion, but I have always promised to call them exactly as the data aligns and as I see them unfolding.
Taking a position in support of Tommy Robinson, taking a strong position against Muslim rape gangs in the U.K., and taking a position in favor of Nigel Farage are not controversial positions in the world of MAGA. In fact, they are popular positions widely held by all of us. However, those positions have little bearing on OUR set of challenges in the USA.

For almost two years, there has been a background conversation with a handful of people watching the Silicon Valley network closely and monitoring every move and position they take. They hold an entirely divergent set of motives that are not aligned with Making America Great Again behind this crew.
I’m simply saying for everyone to keep their eyes wide open, review THAT ARTICLE I just linked above and put it in the context of the issues and discussions we have had on these pages. Remember, there are literally trillions at stake, and we have been duped too many times. The issues and the stakes in our nation are just too important.
The concern we have is about the “surveillance state” and the creations of the Silicon Valley tech bros that are building out tools that can easily be weaponized as the contracts with the U.S government are fulfilled. President Trump will not weaponize them, but the existing tools and the DHS track and trace enhancements being built by the tech team are threats to liberty.
Real ID connected to facial recognition, connected to personage, a digital identity and/or a track and trace capability is ultimately an assembled tech tool for control. Politically Exposed Persons are the most vulnerable.
Those who follow the deepest weeds of their constructs know that billionaire Elon Musk’s ability to have a public influence platform would not exist without the full support of billionaire Larry Ellison. They are absolute partners, mentor and protegee. The part that people are having a hard time accepting is the end goal, the motive behind that Ellison support.
My opinion is today the same as it was when the situation first started to surface. Think of how the Sea Island group positioned Ron DeSantis for his MAGA challenge in 2024. That was a long-term plan that started years before DeSantis entered the primary. DeSantis took positions that were highly favored by President Trump supporters, and his network constructed an image that was intentional to ingratiate himself within the movement.
What we have researched with Elon Musk carries many of the same background datapoints and nuance. Musk takes popular positions to cover for some very un-MAGA proposals; the H1B issue is just one facet. Overall, a technological system of surveillance and control by a few tech oligarchs is well underway.
We must keep our eyes wide open, trust our instincts and differentiate between key issues that can impact us and our families, and the issues we support but are not direct impacts on our lives. We want a big tent; we all want to see success for President Trump and the MAGA agenda, but we cannot achieve our goals if liberty is lost in the process.
The surveillance state diminishes liberty; it needs to be confronted as it surfaces.
Thankfully, President Trump is aware of these concerns.
X is ‘tweaking’ the algorithm again, this time to prevent me ‘regretting’ my user time. Someone else will decide what is ‘positive and worthwhile on my behalf.
Elon may want to LOOK like a straight up MAGA but this reminds me of censorship. Strongly.

For his second term, President Trump would have been organized to the hilt. I can’t explain why I feel a little uneasy about some of the picks and the numbers needed. I realize it’s “the full Monty” to sack and replace with the right people for government to function properly. AI is a scam , the technology is not there to have any true benefit to the common people. That being said the best roadblock is to prevent the establishment of server farms and power centers in your community. The power grid cannot handle these demands. They will cannibalize existing power instead of spending on infrastructure.

What Sundance is alluding to is the tech giants new religion – Dark Enlightenment. Regardless of the superficial points of agreement the tenants of Dark Enlightenment are and will be preserved at its core.
AI is already deeply embedded in the cyber world. It is already taking over in subtle ways. Nothing can be taken for granted. How much truth is there in what we see or hear, or is it AI propaganda? We are living with the likes of Hal 9000 and 1984 world in 2025. Those of us who have watched the growth of CCTV cameras in Europe and elsewhere understand that they are a two-edged sword. In one way, they greatly aid law enforcement in identifying and tracking down criminals. In another, they could violate a citizen’s right to privacy. As a retired airline pilot, I remember the controversy about Cockpit Voice Recorders. It was acknowledged that they could be very useful as an accident investigation tool but also could be used by airline management to discipline a pilot who spoke badly of them or company policies and procedures. An accommodation was made that auto-erased or taped over all but the last 30 minutes of cockpit conversation, and everything could be manually erased by the pilot after the engines were shut down on arrival. There are no easy solutions to the AI-Facial recognition CCTV issues, I fear.

Surveillance to assure the regular folks are on their best behavior? How many times have we seen people commit crimes, burning, looting, killing, etc while filming on cell phones and in front of cameras? People actually want to show off how badly they behave. Criminals don’t care if they are being watched or not. Law abiding citizens do but will lose their privacy anyway. And what good does surveillance do if the DA’s don’t prosecute the crimes?
Camera footage is only good after a crime is committed to hopefully identify the criminal. It does not stop crime before it happens, that is what good human policing can do….which we are losing.
Laws need to be put in place immediately to protect citizen’s privacy and should be required that people need to “opt in”to technology and digital services at their discretion/peril…otherwise our citizen’s data is hands off with HUGE penalties for companies violating!
There must be protection from the digital jail they are building for us!
@Atenizo that’s all well and good. There are too many laws already and passing “privacy” laws only means we agree with the surveillance in the first place. As for opting in, those who don’t will find themselves at the fringes of society; unable to travel, conduct business, or engage in commerce in any meaningful way. This needs to be stopped in its tracks forevermore lest we become cattle for the few who control the levers of power. We may already be there. How many of us would voluntarily take a sledgehammer to the spy in our pocket?
There is zero possibility of ever stopping the surveillance state any where let alone America. Zero.

I first became really aware of surveillance while living in Germany in the early 90s. Later,my dad asked me if I wanted to reframe where I was one Friday night. Like a lightning bolt to the noggin I knew he found my car..yes indeed via satalite. I think he was pointing out the level of surveillance for me to keep in mind, much like he previously gave me a patch for a war that wasn’t going to occur for years.
I do follow science breakthroughs for a couple of reasons;intellectual curiosity and to see what they have come with..like the DARPA and university in Louisiana’s nanobot research.
Once again, I am going to suggest using a very secured browser,like Ghosterly, and checking out the Electronic Frontier Foundation. The EFF has a lot of good information, including free speech and surveillance, and there is a tools tab that takes you to a page with various options. I particularly like Cover Your Tracks, which checks the security of your browser and Surveillance Self Defence which helps by pointing out ways to keep yourself safe. I use several of their tools/apps. That said, I have diminished my footprint online except for the hardware I use in my computer.
My apps and general lockdown will not allow me to sign onto Twitter. I get a message that my protection must be turned off to log in. Huh,as if..
