Tuesday June 7th California, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota and New Jersey will hold the majority of the remaining contests in the presidential primary (the final Democrat race is Washington DC on June 14th).
The key prize being targeted by Senator Bernie Sanders next Tuesday is California with 548 total delegates at stake. With a California win Sanders hopes to carry his efforts into a contested convention:
(Via AP) Speaking to reporters in Los Angeles Saturday, the Sanders said that the Democratic National Convention will be contested, predicting that the winner of the Democratic nomination will need to rely on super delegates to reach the magic number. He called the nomination process “deeply flawed,” adding that whether he wins the nomination or not, he will do everything he can to change it. (link)
However, Sanders will more than likely run up against the Clinton DNC and Media machine early in the evening next Tuesday. All indications are Hillary will likely win New Jersey, with polls closing first at 8:00pm EDT, which will immediately kick off several prime time hours of the MSM spontaneously calling Hillary Clinton “the presumptive nominee”.
