There is quite a bit going on in this video clip from MSNBC this morning.   The new polling numbers show widespread disapproval of President Obama.
However, quite frankly, Bam Bam doesn’t care.    The entire 2nd Term Tour is sold out, the tickets non-refundable, and the only prediction an intellectually honest person would reconcile is the expectation that “something big” will be formulated to distract everyone.

With that simple understanding in mind, and referring to Toronto, Dem Operative James Carville says Dear Leader should just toke on the crack pipe.

Once you get on the bus, you can’t get off til the ride’s over

When he signed the No Child Left Behind Act, for instance, I was vociferously opposed. And I let everyone at the lunch table know about it.
So, I’ve disarmed your only defense mechanisms. You can’t bring Republicans into this one, because I’m not a Republican. You can’t hit me with the “you didn’t say this when Bush did…” routine, because I did say it. I’ve taken your only shield, and now you stand before me; naked, exposed. (more…)

(Via Gateway Pundit)  A Democratic operative in Fairfax, Virginia was caught on tape this week tossing chairs and tables. When the cameras came out, the agitation went up. The Democrat is caught on tape at the 1:00 mark smiling as he smacks an Obenshain observer.
The Virginia GOP posted the video this week.

John Kerry says that “President Obama has prosecuted al-Qaeda with unprecedented intensity”.   I swear; he did, he said that – we have video to prove.
Yet, al Nusra Front (aka al-Qaeda in Syria) are now considered on “our team”, and Kerry says they are the “best fighters”.   In Afghanistan, at Obama’s behest, we are now negotiating with Taliban (aka. al-Qaeda in Afghanistan).  And lest we forget Benghazi, Libya, and our dead Ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans, where not a single al-Qaeda terrorist has been held to account.
…. President Obama is prosecuting al-Qaeda?   Uh-huh.   And Chris Christie is “Conservative”.   Gotcha.

There are many people talking about President Obama and Secretary of State, John Kerry, being so willing to sell out Israel by negotiating with Iran.
Indeed a deal to let the Iranians’ off the sanction hook was damn near pulled off, were it not for the French.
Yes, you read that right, France – the quasi socialist fromage’ nation which has elected an avowed Socialist to it’s head, yet the body electorate is increasingly returning to nationalism.  Go figure…..
…..But, well, then again, we have a right-of-center U.S. electorate body right here who have re-elected a self aware socialist in our White House.   Strange times, strange times.  I must digress.
The point is – were it not for France, President Obama and John Kerry would have given the Iranian Mullahs a win.   Why?
Despite the geo-political international 3-D chess game which might be sold as an explanation, nothing could be further from the truth.   Obama just needed a win – any win.
When you look historically at five year Political Obama, when the media pundits line up to deconstruct him [see obamacare] he will pull off a distraction for no other reason than to put a perceived BIG DEAL in his immediate resume’.
The deal is given a bold headline so the resume’ reader does not note the failure just afore it. (more…)

(via NRO)  At a time when over 4 million people have had their health insurance canceled, it’s good to know that some Americans can still access prompt medical treatment, even if they don’t want it. David Eckert was pulled over by police in Deming, N.M., for failing to come to a complete halt at a stop sign in the Walmart parking lot.
He was asked to step out of the vehicle, and waited on the sidewalk. Officers decided that they didn’t like the tight clench of his buttocks, a subject on which New Mexico’s constabulary is apparently expert, and determined that it was because he had illegal drugs secreted therein.
So they arrested him, and took him to Gila Regional Medical Center in neighboring Hidalgo County, where Mr. Eckert was forced to undergo two abdominal X-rays, two rectal probes, three enemas, and defecate thrice in front of medical staff and representatives of two law-enforcement agencies, before being sedated and subjected to a colonoscopy — all procedures performed against his will and without a valid warrant. It was our initial FOIA requests to the Miami Dade School Police Department which revealed the secret discipline and diversionary program Trayvon Martin was granted to avoid a criminal record.    
Specifically Trayvon Martin’s criminal conduct was hidden behind school discipline.  Stolen jewelry was recorded as random ‘found items’ (the jewelry just intentionally placed in storage with no investigation), his possession of marijuana was similarly obfuscated, and all of the incident reports were intentionally falsified by officials and School Resource Officer, Daryl Dunn,  to avoid the Criminal Justice system.    

It is all well documented with sworn affidavits from the police department HERE.  No-one has ever been held to account – It is just too politically dangerous an issue.
Well, apparently neighboring Broward County is also willing to jump on the diversionary bandwagon.   This recent article outlines how Broward County wants to blur the lines of illegality in their efforts to avoid young black males being held criminally accountable for their behavior.
MIAMI – One of the nation’s largest school districts has reached an agreement with law enforcement agencies and the NAACP to reduce the number of students being charged with crimes for minor offenses.
The agreement with Broward County Public Schools in Florida, which officials planned to announce Tuesday, is one of the first comprehensive plans bringing together district officials, police and the state attorney’s office to create an alternative to the zero-tolerance policies prevalent in many schools. It charges principals rather than school resource officers with being the primary decision makers in responding to student misbehavior.
The move is designed to cut down on what has become known as the “school-to-prison pipeline,” where students accused of offenses like disrupting class or loitering are suspended, arrested and charged with crimes.
Broward, the nation’s seventh largest district, had the highest number of school-related arrests in Florida in the 2011-2012 school year, according to state data. Seventy-one percent of the 1,062 arrests made were for misdemeanor offenses.
In this South Florida district and others across the country, minority students have been disproportionately arrested, sometimes for the same offenses their white peers received only a warning for. Nationwide, over 70 percent of students involved in school-related arrests or law enforcement referrals are black or Hispanic, according to U.S. Department of Education data. (more…)

At this point there is no doubt President Obama knew with great specificity that millions of Americans would lose their health insurance coverage. It is intellectually obtuse to argue otherwise. The bigger question becomes “what now’?

President Barack Obama admitted in 2010 that 8 or 9 million Americans would lose their existing health insurance plans under Obamacare.

“The 8 to 9 million people that you refer to that might have to change their coverage — keep in mind out of the 300 million Americans that we’re talking about — would be folks who the CBO, Congressional Budget Office, estimates would find the deal in the exchange better,” Obama said to Rep. Eric Cantor at a February 25, 2010 White House summit on health insurance regulation.  (link)

Every second that Democrats refuse to admit the construct for legislative passage was based on a false premise their credibility shrinks. Obamacare was sold around a false promise, passed on a series of false promises, and regulated by HHS to specifically present outcomes that were counter to the lies and promises. The outcomes were intended.
Now what?

“The one I feel for is his wife,” Matthews cut in.

After a brief pause, some chuckled as McGrath asked, “Why’s that?”

“Did you just say, ‘crush?'” Matthews said. “I mean, use your imagination.”

True fiscal conservatives are smart folk.  They know how to balance budgets and simultaneously show how the absence of fiscal prudence has consequences.  It is a rare skill that can grasp when to hold the line and when to let progressive ideologues taste the outcomes of their fiscal irresponsibility.
Scott Walker is just such a man.   And no state governor has been so bitterly attacked by progressives because they know and rightly feared him.
To set up the current example here you must go back to the Obamacare fight in 2010.  The federal government structured penalties in the Obamacare law to force States to expand their Medicaid roles.    Medicaid is a state run benefit.  This fight eventually was decided by the Supreme Court in favor of the states who opposed the heavy handed mandate with the court ruling the Feds could not *punish* states for not taking federal money.
Scott Walker was saying:  ‘be careful what you wish/vote for, you just might get it’.   But no-one was really paying attention to the intelligence behind the quiet argument.  (more…)
