WASHINGTON DC – A spokesman for President Obama rushed to assure House Republicans that Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) didn’t actually lose because of his gestures toward Democrats on immigration reform.

“Cantor’s problem wasn’t his position on immigration reform, it was his lack of a position,” Obama advisor Dan Pfeiffer tweeted, citing the success of Senator Lindsay Graham (R., S.C.). “Graham wrote and passed a bill and is winning big.” (more…)

The audacity of a Clinton…

Her accomplishments: To hear Clinton tell it, she helped rebuild the U.S. image in the world after the George W. Bush administration badly mangled it.

“The most important thing I did was to help restore America’s leadership in the world. And I think that was a very important accomplishment. We were flat on our back when I walked in there the first time.

“We were viewed as being untrustworthy, as violating our moral rules and values, as being economically hobbled. And we had to get out there and once again promote American values and pursue our interests and protect national security. Because of the eight years that preceded us — it was the economic collapse, it was two wars, it was the war on terror that led to some very unfortunate, un-American actions being taken. That was my biggest challenge. It was why the president asked me to be secretary of state.”  (link)

Against the backdrop of current events this little snippet will not reach the attention of too many people.   However, it’s lack of visibility in the news is not to say the inherent message is not resoundingly indicative of something newsworthy.

When Egypt held their 2011  “election” after the fall of Hosni Mubarak, the Muslim brotherhood worked diligently to elect their President, Mohammed Morsi.

Upon hearing of the Brotherhood victory – President Obama promptly called Morsi.

Actually, he interrupted a vacation specifically to call Morsi on the day of his victory, offering congratulations and an immediate invitation to the White House.

But for Mohammed Morsi the actual trip to the White House would have to wait. There was another world leader he needed to meet first.

What Mrs. Clinton neglected to point out was that a majority of their legal debts were paid for by a Legal Defense Fund, which brought in more than $8 million by early 2001, leaving only about $4 million in debts for the Clintons themselves — a figure about half of the $8 million book advance she had already secured before leaving office.  (link)

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton said Tuesday that she and former President Bill Clinton “fully appreciate how hard life is for so many Americans,” seeking to refine remarks she made about the pair being “dead broke” when they left the White House.

At the same time, the former secretary of state dropped another hint that she might be leaning toward a second run for the presidency. Clinton said that she and her husband have “gone through some of the same challenges that many people have” and that they “understand what that struggle is.”

In an interview on the day her book “Hard Choices” was being released, Clinton told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that she and her husband left the White House roughly $12 million in debt at the end of his second term in early 2001. But she also acknowledged that “we’ve continued to be blessed in the last 14 years.” (more…)

If you’ve been reading CTH for any length of time, you already know that we’ve been fans of the edgy street artist called SABO ever since his SUB PAR street art first appeared last February plastered on the progressive streets of Santa Monica, California. Yesterday, SABO took another step forward in his rapidly rising career with his first appearance on Glenn Beck’s  TheBlazeTV.

“SABO has been creating conservative art for more than a decade now, but it was in the last few years that SABO began plastering his controversial posters all around LA. Because his work is illegal, SABO’s face was not shown during the interview and his real name was not used.”

How blatant are the lies ?  Lies so blatant, brutal and transparent that even Andrea Mitchell can’t allow them to go unchallenged.

I’d like to draw attention to a specific moment @2:03 of this video when Andrea Mitchell accidently lets slip that the content of this interview was previously constructed and agreed upon.    The collusion of media and administration reflected.

Tens of thousands of illegal aliens swarm the U.S. border because President Obama has vowed an Open Border Policy including unlimited Amnesty…. by a magnitude of twelve times previous influx.

(Via Daily Mail)  Republicans are slamming President Barack Obama for instituting an immigration policy that they say enticed tens of thousands of Central American children to cross America’s southern border illegally without any parents to guide them.

Obama rolled out a controversial Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in 2012, allowing many illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as minors to escape deportation for two years. The White House gave them another two-year window last week. (more…)
