Effective one second past midnight this morning anything that happens will be because the U.S. Federal Government shut down.

If you don’t believe me, just watch television.   It will be live 24/7….
A wounded water buffalo was spotted trying to give birth on the dangerous Serengeti Plain, CNN International will soon report the cause is the shutdown of the U.S. federal government.   A man in Wisconsin missed his bus because the battery in his alarm clock ran out; Damn that John Boehner. A drawbridge near Baton Rouge Louisiana got stuck this morning – MSNBC confirms the GOP caused that.
In New York, a once joyful fifth grade teacher’s chalk broke in half right when she was about to use it on the blackboard; Peter King erupts in fury – ABC has live coverage.    If the stock market climbs, or falls, it’ll be all Ted Cruz’s fault – And NBC will be there live to walk you through it.   When the planes arrive/depart typically late, now CBS will report it’s because of Paul Ryan’s entrenched ideology – last week notsomuch. Today, and all the subsequent days that follow, an entire generation of 18 to 34-year-old Kardashian millennials are about to find out their votes for the Hopey Changey guy have resulted in them being forced to sign up for a mandatory healthcare program.

Yes, effective RIGHT NOW, those millennials who do not have employer provided healthcare coverage, are about to find out they need to pay $200 to $400 per month, every month, just for the “right” to participate in the U.S. Healthcare System.  And if they don’t sign up for it, they will have their income tax return confiscated by the IRS who are in charge of compliance.
Personally I have yet to find a twenty something who realize that simple truth. (more…)

(THR) — NBC has scrapped its controversial Hillary Clinton miniseries project.

“After reviewing and prioritizing our slate of movie/miniseries development, we’ve decided that we will no longer continue developing the Hillary Clinton miniseries,” the network said in a statement Monday.
The news comes hours after CNN Films opted to cancel its planned documentary on the former secretary of state and first lady after pressure from both Democrats and Republicans.  (read more)

In the war of ideas, or even ideals, morale is everything.

Don’t let the insufferable propaganda get you down; conservative patriots are on the right side of the issue(s) we confront – and the media will do everything within their ideological power to insure you don’t find confirmation of that.   This, is a constant.

The signs are everywhere, all around, so don’t let fear overtake your common sense and situational awareness.  The leftists always count on their capacity to make you think you are in the minority, or your belief systems are ‘out of touch’.   If that were not he case Saul Alinsky would never have written their instruction manual.

I ask you:  Who was the House Majority Speaker during the “Great Depression” of the 1930’s ?     …History attributes ’cause’ to the President – not congress.

Right now the DNC is over $18 million in debt.   They have not paid their bills for over ten months and their vendors are reluctant to continue affording them lines of credit.

The current President has never even signed a budget.  For two years, holding the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Democrats never even proposed one.   For the next two years, after Republicans took back the House, the Senate never even proposed one.   These are simple facts the media want you need you to ignore. Democrats are “Willing To Work With GOP On Keeping Government Open” . . .  But if GOP doesn’t give us exactly what we want….. The government will shutdown.

As President Barack Obama’s signature Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act enters the all-important sign-up phase next week, the president finds himself with some of the lowest approval ratings of his presidency even as Republicans in an unpopular Congress maneuver to block the health-care legislation from taking effect.
A Reuters-Ipsos poll of 1,729 Americans taken Sept. 20-24 found only 39 percent of those surveyed approve of the job Obama is doing as president, while 55 percent disapprove.

The Reuters-Ipsos poll found that 22 percent of those responding thought the country was headed in the right direction, while 64 percent thought it was on the wrong track. (link)

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”

No-one wants war.   If you look throughout modern history you will find a seemingly consistent view of conflict from the peaceful nations who often are forced to bear witness to regional conflicts driven by evil regimes.
The evil nations, who hold an ideological hatred, use the reflexive nature of conflict avoidance, held by most civilized nations, to advance their goals.    It has always been thus.
In 1938 Czechoslovakia suffered from the avoidance principle espoused by the British and the French; the Czechs became victim to Germany.
In 2013 while the globe is indeed smaller and more closely attached, the same mindset carries toward a league of nations watching Israel play the role of Czechoslovakia, and Iran taking the place of Germany.
What Germany needed in 1937/1938 was time and a British/French unwillingness.   What Iran needs in 2013 is time, and a U.S. unwillingness.    The key difference is this: in 1938 Czech could not defend herself…. In 2013, Israel can.
So Iran needs something else.

We’ve often talked about the marked similarity between these trying times and the similarities to the time just prior to the awakening in Poland which spurred the Solidarity Movement.
Indeed, in Poland then, just like in the U.S. now, the media was selling one central planning script yet a divergent reality existed in the street – amid the people.
It took the people of Poland to actually walk into the street and recognize they had been fooled. They thought for years their individual desires for freedom and smaller government put them in the minority.  Individually they each believed their government was operating with the consent of the governed.  However, they were wrong.
Once the ordinary citizen made the decision to take to the street they recognized their views and perspectives were actually held in the majority. The media was merely selling a guise on behalf of the centralized governing body. (more…)

Secretary Kerry, at the request, advice and consent of President Obama, has signed the United States up for the U.N arms treaty.

Defying warnings from the ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Secretary of State John F. Kerry signed the United Nations Small Arms Trade Treaty Sept. 25 at the UN headquarters in New York City  (link)

One of the central components of the Treaty is to require domestic regulation of “small arms and light weapons.”  The treaty’s Article 5 requires nations to “establish and maintain a national control system,” including a “national control list.” (more…)

This really is no surprise.  We have well documented how the average Egyptian held disdain for President Obama based on the reality that Obama supported the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi; while Morsi was slaughtering Christians, taking over the courts, and even allowing Christian crucifixions to take place immediately outside his residence.
The average Egyptian does not welcome political Islam, terrorists, Jihadists and extremists.   They have tasted freedom and like the people in Western Libya they are not going to accept Salafist dictates and Sharia type governance;  all of which were supported by the insufferable duplicity and willful blindness of Senator John McCain, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Secretary John Kerry and the entire Obama administration. 
So this recent example of the Egyptian sentiment should be expected.  –  Egypt’s Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy told the London-based Al-Hayat daily that Egyptian relations with the U.S. were “turbulent” and the Egyptian public has “unprecedented negative views” toward the United States. (more…)
