Chamber President, Tom Donohue, paid a lot of money to Senator Mitch McConnell to deliver “Amnesty”. That’s why McConnell put the “Gang of Ocho” together.
Chamber President, Tom Donohue, has also paid enormous sums of money to House Speaker John Boehner to deliver “Amnesty”.
It happened in February in Florida.
It happened again in March in Kansas City.
It happened again in April In Washington DC.
The PC Media just can’t bring themselves to write the actual name of the event. It was officially called “African American Family Day” at the National Zoo; with free entrance from 10am -to- 4pm.

Given recent events, and considering how the institutional left claims a desire to want “that” racial conversation – yet factually do everything in their power to avoid actually having “that conversation” – lets look at how the event was described in the Politically Correct Media Empire as they were reporting on the DC Zoo violence. Many people are pointing out how Sean Hannity has reacted to the Cliven Bundy comments. Indeed, arguably – Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck have espoused two of the loudest and angriest responses to the comments from Cliven Bundy.
Or are they ?
Are they, Beck and Hannity, responding to the Bundy comments, or are they responding to the New York Times and Media Matters presentation of the Bundy comments ? I think the latter, but I digress. Check it out yourself:
There is an intellectual dishonesty at play here. But why ? Perhaps because Hannity likes to emotionally swing for the fence on every at bat ? Perhaps because Hannitys’ show has been suffering in the ratings ? Perhaps because he was moved to a new TV hour and a joyful Megyn Kelly is simply CRUSHING HIM (and all others BTW) ?
Or, perhaps, at least from my own perspective, it’s because the constant stress in Hannity’s presentation is like watching Gary Busey eat an ice-cream cone amid a McDonalds playball pit. Nerve wracking, stressful, stupidly sweaty, unable to sit still, constantly shouting – Busey always comes off like he’s peaking amid a serious dose of amphetamines. I can’t watch his acting either because I always feel stressed out while sitting on the couch.
Perhaps Hannity is caught in the quicksand of a downward personality where the more you thrash the quicker you sink. Shouting doesn’t help. (more…)
ALABAMA − Less than three months before the June primary, four Alabama counties had more voters on their rolls than what the Census Bureau says is their voting age population.
Officials give a number of reasons for that, including under-counting by the census.
Secretary of State Jim Bennett said the discrepancies create opportunity for voting fraud.
“Every duplicate name and every bad address is just an opportunity for crooks to attempt to manipulate our elections,” Bennett said.
Each county has a three-person board of registrars that is responsible for maintaining the voting lists with help from the secretary of state’s office. (more…)
VIRGINIA – A crosscheck of voter rolls in Virginia and Maryland turned up 44,000 people registered in both states, a vote-integrity group reported Wednesday.
And that’s just the beginning.
“The Virginia Voters Alliance is investigating how to identify voters who are registered and vote in Virginia but live in the states that surround us,” Alliance President Reagan George told the State Board of Elections.
George acknowledged that the number of voters who actually cast multiple ballots is relatively small. In the case of Maryland and Virginia, he revealed that 164 people voted in both states during the 2012 election. (more…)

While the Obama administration did not file a brief in the case, Attorney General Eric Holder today praised Justice Sotomayor’s “courageous and personal dissent” in Schuette v. BAMN, yesterday’s decision upholding the right of Michigan voters to ban racial preferences in public university admissions. Holder’s remarks were, naturally, given at the Justice Department’s “Diversity and Inclusion Speaker Series.” (read more)

Lil’ Wayne, a notorious promoter of the drink, was Trayvon’s favorite rapper/artist. Now the manufacturer of the codeine syrup pulls production and sales of their product. Actavis pulls production and sales of their promethazine codeine syrup. A pharmaceutical company has announced that they will cease production of a prescription cough syrup due to its association with drug sizzurp. Sizzurp, also known as ‘purple drank’, is made from prescription cough syrup, hard candy and sugary soft drinks, and is popular among rap stars and pop prince-turned-wannabe gangster Justin Bieber. Actavis say that it is the celebrity glorification of using their ‘Prometh with Codeine cough syrup’ to make sizzurp that has led to the company stopping all production and sales.(more…)
This shouldn’t really come as a surprise. Justice Sotomayor is ideologically blinded by… and define herself primarily by… “race”. She sees the world through the prism of race first and all other aspects second. In President Obama’s life – “affirmative action” is the only reason a man of average grade and moderate intellect would be considered for Harvard and the HLR. (WASHINGTON) — In a dissent to Tuesday’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Michigan’s voter-approved ban on affirmative action programs in its public colleges, Justice Sonia Sotomayor speaks from experience about the complex impact of such programs on her own life.
Sotomayor’s 58-page dissent, joined by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, has one theme: Race matters.
Sotomayor notes that voters in Michigan could have used other means to eliminate the use of race-sensitive admissions policies.
“They could have persuaded existing board members to change their minds through individual or grassroots lobbying efforts, or through general public awareness campaigns,” she says. “Or they could have mobilized efforts to vote uncooperative board members out of office, replacing them with members who would share their desire to abolish race-sensitive admissions policies.” […] (more…)
Actually a bigger aspect to this story is *where* the training base is located. Previously almost all reports were saying the East of Libya, Benghazi, Darna et al, were the Islamist/al-Qaeda strongholds. The U.S. state dept had proclaimed that Western Libya was moderate and friendly to the West. This media report contradicts the White House and State Dept. and puts al-Qaeda solidly on the outskirts of Tripoli.

In the summer of 2012, American Green Berets began refurbishing a Libyan military base 27 kilometers west of Tripoli in order to hone the skills of Libya’s first Western-trained special operations counter-terrorism fighters.
