~ AGAIN, The Social Justice Crowd is Trying To Win By Losing ~

Earlier this week the DOJ lost an appeal to lift an injunction put in place by Judge Andrew Hanen, which blocks execution of President Obama’s Immigration Executive Action.  The injunction remains in place.
The DOJ had two options after their loss in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
♦ They could request a summary review by the U.S. Supreme Court (the 5th CCA district review SCOTUS justice is Antonin Scalia).  Or, ♦ they could ask for the entire panel of the 5th CCA to seat and hear full oral arguments.   The DOJ has chosen the latter.

The Hill is reporting the 5th Circuit has expedited the request and will hear oral arguments on July 10th, (written arguments previously filed with original judicial appeal).
Meanwhile, the DOJ will have to move forward on defending the merits of the underlying case which stems from a lawsuit filed by Texas, and joined by 26 other states, claiming the Obama Executive Action is an unconstitutional overreach of power, and therefore illegal.

A scathing expose’ by Megyn Kelly today, outlining much of our research on activist Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby, leads to Team Mosby claiming a “twitter hacking” and blocking visibility of Mosby’s earlier prejudicial video statements.
First the Megyn Kelly segment (first 7 minutes):

The video used in the segment was first shared here on May 4th, and highlights a speech Mosby gave at a Multicultural Prayer Movement.  The research thread was part one of a three part series outlining ‘Why Mosby Should Be Recused’.  Part II and III HERE
As soon as the Kelly File segment aired, that video was shut down and has now been made private.  However, Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller had already picked up the speech outline several weeks ago and copied the Mosby segment.  (available here)
In addition, the Controversial Social Media postings originally brought to our attention by Froggie and again shared by the Daily Caller earlier today were claimed to be “hacked”.

The Baltimore Sun is reporting today that attorneys for the Baltimore Six police officers have file a motion for a change of venue.

[…]  In the 85-page motion, the lawyers representing officers Caesar Goodson, Edward Nero, Garrett Miller, Brian Rice, Alicia White and William Porter outlined a “presumption of prejudice” they say exists in the city that necessitates moving the trial.
[…]  “Any effort through the voir dire process to seat six fair and impartial juries for these Baltimore City Police Officer would be futile given the fact that the events surrounding this case have impacted every citizen of Baltimore,” the attorneys wrote. (link)

(HatTip Froggie) Newly discovered video shows Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby while she was in college and unmarried (going by her maiden name of Marilyn James) in 2000-2001 when she appeared on the Judge Judy show (Season #5, Episode #119).
On the show she is suing a building business owner for damages as a result of his taking custody of her apartment (above the shop) while she was home between college semesters.

Born 01/22/1980 Marilyn Mosby (James) would have been approximately 20-years-old when this show was taped.
Also Froggie points out something interesting.  Check out the type of Twitter Messages that Marilyn Mosby favors on her social media.   Biased much?

It takes some kind of nerve to intentionally “provide space for people to destroy” a city, and then ask everyone who doesn’t live in the city to pay for it.

Ann Coulter has a new book coming out, “Adios America“.  Essentially a full throated point of advocacy outlining the inherent danger of illegal immigration.  As part of her pre-release publicity tour Ms. Coulter is making media rounds to advocate her positions for the arguments within it.
With that in mind – she walks into the lions den of amnesty support in an interview with Jorge Ramos. (The full interview will air on Fusion TV tomorrow):

“I have a little tip. If you don’t want to be killed by ISIS, don’t go to Syria. If you don’t want to be killed by a Mexican, there’s nothing I can tell you,” Coulter said in an interview Tuesday with Fusion’s Jorge Ramos. (link)

Now it might seem, at least initially, that most conservatives would align with the presented arguments of Ms. Coulter as she opines about the inherent danger caused by the borderless global leftists and their dangerous immigration policies.
However, her latest position, while indeed an argument I personally would agree with, highlights something even more dangerous to our Republic and provides an example of something almost NO-ONE pays attention to. Ms. Coulter is like an arsonist amid the fire department. (more…)

Texas Judge Hanen previously blocked Obama’s unconstitutional “Executive Action on immigration” which expanded deferred deportation and granted employment status for illegal aliens.  The DOJ appealed the injunction to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Today Hanen’s injunction was upheld by the appellate court, the DOJ lost.

(Via FOX) Two out of the three judges voted Tuesday to deny the government’s request, as the underlying case is argued.  The majority opinion reasoned that lifting the temporary hold — known in judicial parlance as a “stay” — could cause serious problems for states should they ultimately win their challenge. Baltimore State Attorney, and “Black Lives Matter” activist, Marilyn Mosby, has created an environment of brutal lawlessness in the wake of her visible animosity toward city police officers.  Thugs now rule the streets, particularly in the dangerous Western region as police are forced to stop proactive policing.


The irony of consequence is lost amid the reality that more black people are being killed specifically because of the approach taken by the local Baltimore prosecutor. (more…)
