John Kerry says that “President Obama has prosecuted al-Qaeda with unprecedented intensity”.   I swear; he did, he said that – we have video to prove.
Yet, al Nusra Front (aka al-Qaeda in Syria) are now considered on “our team”, and Kerry says they are the “best fighters”.   In Afghanistan, at Obama’s behest, we are now negotiating with Taliban (aka. al-Qaeda in Afghanistan).  And lest we forget Benghazi, Libya, and our dead Ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans, where not a single al-Qaeda terrorist has been held to account.
…. President Obama is prosecuting al-Qaeda?   Uh-huh.   And Chris Christie is “Conservative”.   Gotcha.

The media and Republican goal now shifts to the historic national election of first female President Hillary Clinton.

With that in mind the media and the GOP “Decepticons” (the Old Guard) will proclaim New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, as the second coming of political Jesus.   The Republican establishment will swoon over Christie’s large victory and proclaim his resounding win as evidence he is the last and only great hope for 2016.
In complete, albeit temporary synergy, the progressive media will reinforce this GOP message (in the *DROOLING extreme) because they too have a vested interest in seeing Governor Chris Christie rise to be the chosen GOP candidate in the same vein as they selected Governor Mitt Romney.

[*if you want a funny exercise: record all of the dreamy, swoony and complimentary things the media will say about Chris Christie over the next 48 hours.  Save them, and then compare them to what happens mid-summer 2016 – from the exact same people]

The media do not want a bold contrast. Bold contrasts are dangerous to progressive advancement. Bold contrasts are scary.  Bold contrasts represent “risk”.   Remember who they called “maverick” in 2007.   No, the progressive media will position to have a candidate who is ideologically closer to oppose their chosen Hillary.
Chris Christie fits that billing perfectly.   White banker, pro-amnesty, pro-Islam, pro-big government, pro-big business, pro-bailouts, anti-state’s rights, Pro-FEMA, Pro-expanding Medicaid, Pro-Obamacare;… the perfectly squishy middle-man to replace perfectly squishy Mitt Romney, who replaced perfectly squishy John McCain, who replaced.. well, you get the picture.

CNN obtains White House internal communication (memo) sharing the Obama administration’s anxiety that if the website actually begins working people will find out Obamacare costs more with less coverage and fewer options. 

In our estimation there will be roughly  “NINE stages” of national outrage.  The high pricing and limited coverage options are only “stage THREE“.

Washington (CNN) – Officials expressed concern that the next shoe to drop in the evolving story about the Affordable Care Act would be disappointment from consumers once they are able to get on the troubled HealthCare.gov website – disappointment because of sticker shock and limited choice, according to a new document obtained by CNN.

For those following the backstory surrounding the players in/around the Benghazi consulate on 9/11/12,  things again took an unusual twist.    Within 48 hours after appearing on the 60 minutes expose’,  Security Agent, Morgan Jones, was ‘outed’ by the Washington Post – as intelligence operative “Dylan Davies”.   It appeared to be a strategic attempt to discredit his reporting to Lara Logan and CBS’s 60 minutes.
Someone, presumably from within the State Dept, leaked an unsigned incident report, to the Washington Post, supposedly written by Dylan Davies while he was contracted by Blue Mountain – the UK security firm.    However, Davies is now disputing the report saying he never wrote it – and apparently it might have been authored by an executive inside Blue Mountain specifically for the FBI and Congressional Committee investigation.

The debate over the Obama administration’s actions before and after the attack on the U.S. mission was reignited following an Oct. 27 60 Minutes report featuring an interview with Morgan Jones, a pseudonym for a British security contractor who trained and advised the local Libyan guard force for the U.S. mission in Benghazi. Jones’s book, The Embassy House, was released two days later and contains a firsthand account of his time in Benghazi and his actions during the series of attacks that resulted in the death of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens. This story is another reflection of how short-sighted and self-interested the circle around President Obama is.    Everyone knows that Israeli covert military strikes are done to stop the risk before it reaches the gate.  They live surrounded by enemies.  
In this example a Russian / Syrian military weapons cache was destroyed.   The White House leaks that Israel were the ones who carried it out.   This type of leak puts international pressure on Israel, makes them appear further isolated, and can weaken their ability to proactively respond to threats.
(Via Times of Israel) – Israel is fuming with the White House for confirming that it was the Israeli Air Force that struck a military base near the Syrian port city of Latakia on Wednesday, hitting weaponry that was set to be transferred to Hezbollah.
Israel has not acknowledged carrying out the strike, one of half a dozen such attacks widely ascribed to Israel in recent months, but an Obama administration official told CNN on Thursday that Israeli warplanes had indeed attacked the Syrian base, and that the target was “missiles and related equipment” set for delivery to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Israel’s Channel 10 TV on Friday night quoted Israeli officials branding the American leak as “scandalous.” For Israel’s ally to be acting in this way was “unthinkable,” the officials were quoted as saying. (more…)

The current meme for antagonism around Obamacare is to point out the falsehood behind the statement: “If you like your insurance plan/doctor, you can keep it“.

Anyone who has spent even a modicum of time following and researching this administration will note the only wording out of place was the first use of the term “you”.
The statement from President Obama would have been accurate if he had said:

..”If I like your insurance plan, you can keep it”

Where “I” is actually defined as the political ideology behind the phrase.  It is the progressive ideology which defines what you can, or cannot, have.  Period.
The entire premise of the ACA, or Obamacare, was government defining all the common denominators.
In essence they needed to create two impressions, one real and one false.
The false impression was the one they stated publicly.  This was the one to make sure the electorate voted as they needed.    The real impression is what they were doing, and what they actually did – in the architecture and construction of the new national healthcare.
It does not provide value to rise up against the false impression – it’s a snipe hunt.   The uprising needs to be focused on the real action that took place.    Actions speak louder than words, yet so many people fail to focus their pushback approach on the action;  instead they get stuck focusing on the words. WASHINGTON DC – All of the female Democratic senators signed a secret letter to Hillary Rodham Clinton early this year encouraging her to run for president in 2016 – a letter that includes the signature of Sen. Elizabeth Warren and other senators who are mentioned as potential candidates, two high-ranking Democratic Senate aides told ABC News.
The letter, organized at the urging of Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., was meant to be a private show of support from a group of 16 high-profile former colleagues and fans who are now senators, urging Clinton to do what much of the Democratic Party assumes she will, the aides said. (more…)

Pinch me. Chris Matthews goes a little off the water-carrying range in this discussion around Benghazi? It actually appears that Chris Matthews is either a.) embarrassed by CBS’s Lara Logan, who actually did a direct 60 minutes segment, or, b.) struggling to reconcile that Hillary’s “at this point what difference does it make” comment is pure obfuscation not grounded in fact.

Could it be that Chris Matthews actually does recognize, albeit 13 months after the fact, that President Obama and Hillary Clinton chose to let Americans be slaughtered in Benghazi ?
Could the truth of this be comprehensible to Obama/Hillary defender Matthews?
Nah, me neither.
The White House will call him and yank his leash back shortly.

(Via Truth Revolt) In a 60 Minutes special on CBS News that featured a trainer for security at the Benghazi consulate in Libya, a Green Beret lieutenant colonel, and top State Department official Gregory Hicks speaking about security shortcomings in Benghazi prior to the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack that killed four Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens, CBS News mentioned President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton precisely zero times.

Lt. Col. Andy Wood testified, “We had one option: ‘Leave Benghazi or you will be killed.’…. I made it known in a country team meeting, ‘You are gonna get attacked. You are gonna get attacked in Benghazi. It’s gonna happen. You need to change your security profile.’” But the story never says to whom Wood made that clear.
“Morgan Jones,” a pseudonym for a security trainer in Benghazi, said of Libyan security, “we realized they were all inside drinking tea, laughing and joking….Instantly I thought we’re going to have to get rid of all these guys.” But to whom did he direct his information? There is a particular poignancy with Lara Logan doing this story after all she went through in Egypt. Her report essentially vindicates all that Fox News has previously outlined. How will a spiteful White House respond?
