Hillary Clinton spoke out in Greenville, South Carolina, today about the current controversy surrounding Planned Parenthood over two videos of officials talking about harvesting and selling fetal organs.

I don’t have all the facts but planned parenthood has apologized for the insensitivity of the employee who was taped and they will continue to answer questions for congress and others, but for more than a century planned parenthood has provided essential services for women. Not just reproductive health services, including access to affordable family planning, but cancer screenings, for example and other health checkups and I think it is unfortunate that planned parenthood had been the object of such a concerted attacks for so many years and it’s really an attack against women’s rights to choose, to make the most personal, difficult decisions that any women would face based on her faith and her medical advice that she is given. So I am hoping that this situation will not further undermine the very important services that planned parenthood provides. (link)

Sweet mother of hades, we had a strong suspicion last week the video release by Center for Medical Progress investigation of Planned Parenthood was merely the tip of the iceberg – but no-one had any idea how deep they penetrated into the secret enclaves of the abortion industry.

Andrew Breitbart mastered the art of publishing bad (but not the worst) parts of a story first, awaiting the response, then following up with even more damaging information which destroys the initial defense.

This approach appears to be what’s going on within the CMP expose’ of Planned Parenthood selling baby parts. In addition, as the abortion industry now begins to realize who they allowed into their private clutches, meetings, conferences and even into the actual facilities who cut up baby organs for the past three years, PP now recognizes the massive amount of information now in the hands of CMS. The level of evil and depravity is jaw dropping.

(Via Pundit Press) In a stunningly evil and disgusting article, a feminist only willing to identify herself as “Lana” has described her decision to abort her child, based solely on the fact that he was a boy.
Lana begins her article by explaining that “the patriarchy has been well entrenched since the dawn of time,” and continues by writing about an argument she had with a man on an airplane, while she was pregnant, to summarize what she deemed “extreme patriarchy.”
The description of the argument is straight forward: Lana was flying to San Francisco to participate in an Occupy Wall Street rally. When the person sitting next to her found out about it, he swore at her, to which Lana responded by screaming at the top of her lungs “ASSAULT.”
After “contemplating” lying to the flight attendants and telling them that the man struck her, Lana decided to tell the truth. The flight attendants told her that they couldn’t force the man to move in response. And in response to that, Lana decided that she “could no longer depend on men to be an ally of the cause.” (more…)

Last week on Facebook, a family member of mine posted a video made by my cousin, Anne Roberts, who lost her battle to breast cancer about a year ago.  Anne was a Facebook “friend”, and I was surprised that I had not seen this video before during the past year, posted by her, or by her sisters or mother, who are also my “friends”.

CANADA – A Canadian hunter stepped out looking to bag a moose and returned with 20 wriggling puppies instead.
The astonishing discovery in a field near Glaslyn, Saskatchewan on Friday follows the orphaned dogs — of various ages — apparently being left for dead.
Greg Zubiak was on his annual hunt when he said some movement up ahead led him to find the adorable pooches.
“As I walked up, they all just kind of looked at me and I guess my moose hunt was over,” he told CBC News. “I just said, ‘OK, come on,’ and as soon as I said that, they all come running to me.” (read more)

This preference drives my daughters crazy. It drives my brothers crazy. My loving friends think I am crazy. They think that I can’t mean what I say; that I haven’t thought clearly about this, because there is so much in the world to see and do. To convince me of my errors, they enumerate the myriad people I know who are over 75 and doing quite well. They are certain that as I get closer to 75, I will push the desired age back to 80, then 85, maybe even 90.
I am sure of my position. Doubtless, death is a loss. It deprives us of experiences and milestones, of time spent with our spouse and children. In short, it deprives us of all the things we value. (more…)

Unlike the socially hip meme toward the missing/kidnapped Nigerian Schoolgirls, and unlike a black Harvard Professor arrested by police -and quickly defined by the White House as “acting stupidly”-; and unlike a 17-year-old disciplinary diversion student killed in the act of attacking a Hispanic man, the plight of an American citizen’s wife -soon to be hanged merely for being Christian- does not rise to the level of being #hashtag worthy.   Heck, it doesn’t even rise to the level of State Dept. ‘Give-A-Damn’.

The remarkable aspect -beyond the obvious- is actually American Daniel Wani asking the State Department for help and being told to go away.    Maybe he’s the wrong kind of black man; a Christian kind.

(Via Huffington Post)  Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis received a hostile greeting in Los Angeles Thursday morning, when life-sized posters depicting her as “Abortion Barbie” began popping up throughout the city ahead of her fundraiser there.

The posters say “Hollywood welcomes Abortion Barbie Wendy Davis,” and they show Davis’ face on a mostly-naked barbie doll with a plastic baby in her belly. Conservative pundit Erick Erickson nicknamed Davis “Abortion Barbie” earlier this year because when she was a state senator, she stood on her feet and spoke for 11 hours straight to filibuster a draconian package of anti-abortion bills.
