A Brooklyn man terrorized two NYPD cops when he pulled alongside their squad car in Harlem and pointed what appeared to be a weapon at them to show his friends how easy it would be to “shoot a police officer,” authorities said.
Unique Johnson, 32, was driving a Chevy TrailBlazer at West 125th Street and Seventh Avenue at 9 p.m. Tuesday when he suspiciously slowed down and pulled up along the squad car’s right side, police said.
When the 26-year-old officer at the wheel peered over his shoulder, he witnessed Johnson with his arms extended, pointing what looked like a gun, police said.
“I absolutely thought we were dead,” one of the cops said, according to NYPD officials.

People keep asking: why won’t the Obama administration admit the terror threat is specifically from Islamic extremists? The reason is simple. They won’t admit it because once the problem is defined, they become responsible for an action plan to address it. The administration does not want to address it, ergo as long as the threat can be obfuscated, no-one will be expected to do anything specific.
Hence, when Kelly File guest host Martha MacCallum confronts State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf about why the White House won’t openly say that radical Islam specifically is a major threat to the world – Harf avoids the specifics.
Harf told MacCallum that Islamic extremism is “not the only kind of extremism we face,” though when pressed to name other examples of troubling extremism, she simply said people all over the world want to kill each other for a “variety of causes.”
Up to 1.5 million people flooded Paris for march today, while 600,000 rally in other towns and cities around France. France’s Interior Ministry said crowds were larger than when country was liberated from the Nazis in WWII.
President Obama sent Eric Holder to represent the United States and show solidarity. Dozens of national heads of state were present, Eric Holder skipped the march.

CNN just reported Eric Holder did not attend #ParisMarch because he was attending high level meetings. With whom? Everyone was at rally.

Think about this case carefully. Think about all of the ramifications to it.
A 17-year-old cancer patient does not want to undergo chemotherapy. She asked her mom to support her decision. After various long-term discussions, Mom agreed that her daughter should have her wishes respected. The state steps in and says no, the teen must have Chemo. She is now physically locked inside a Connecticut hospital, having forced treatment against her will. She cannot leave. She turns 18 in September this year.
*Additional note – If she wanted to have an abortion, in the same hospital, under the current state laws and rules, she alone could decide and would not need parental approval/notification….
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A 17-year-old girl being forced by state officials to undergo chemotherapy for her cancer said Thursday she understands she’ll die if she stops treatment but it should be her decision.
The state Supreme Court ruled earlier in the day state officials aren’t violating the rights of the girl, Cassandra C., who has Hodgkin lymphoma.
Cassandra told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview from her hospital it disgusts her to have “such toxic harmful drugs” in her body and she’d like to explore alternative treatments. She said by text she understands “death is the outcome of refusing chemo” but believes in “the quality of my life, not the quantity.”
“Being forced into the surgery and chemo has traumatized me,” Cassandra wrote in her text. “I do believe I am mature enough to make the decision to refuse the chemo, but it shouldn’t be about maturity, it should be a given human right to decide what you want and don’t want for your own body.” (more…)

I guarantee you if this kid was reading the Koran, the teacher would not have told him to put it away.
Cultural Marxism Strikes Again – (Via Truth Revolt) A 12-year-old Missouri middle-schooler was told by his teacher that reading the Bible during free time is prohibited.
Loyal Grandstaff’s father said his son’s freedoms of religion and speech were both violated. He is reaching out to the school for answers, according to WDAF-TV.
The boy told the news station:
I like to read my Bible because it’s a good book. I was just reading, just reading because I had free time. A time to do what I wanted to, so I just broke it out and read.
Loyal said he wanted to read the Bible during free time because he feels encouraged by it. He stated that he wasn’t reading aloud or sharing the book with any other classmates when his teacher approached and told him to put it away. (read more)

The left-wing media machine is striking out against Sharyl Attkisson for filing suit. However, what the professional left fail to address is the ever present question: what other venue for redress does Attkisson have? The DOJ obtusely denies the claim stating:
To our knowledge, the Justice Department has never compromised Ms. Attkisson’s computers, or otherwise sought any information from or concerning any telephone, computer or other media device she may own or use. (link)
Yet, within the legal DOJ obfuscation you’ll note the absence of a specific denial. Against the backdrop of a provably weaponized DOJ commanded by Attorney General Eric Holder, who has specifically and intentionally targeted reporters, there is more than enough evidence to support the Attkisson forensic team who have identified government agencies as the source of the illegal tapping. The discovery phase of a lawsuit is the only actionable redress to gain sunlight.
(VIA FOX NEWS) Former CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson has sued the Justice Department over the hacking of her computers, officially accusing the Obama administration of illegal surveillance while she was reporting on administration scandals.

Page #8 …”This movement has been organized by Black folks for other Black folks. Again we ask, please only forward this information to members of the Black and African diaspora”…
On Saturday and Sunday morning in California and New York, activists from the Black Lives Matter group invaded numerous eateries shouting, harassing customers and screaming anti-police rhetoric. Their stated goal was to impress upon people of all races the struggles of what it’s like to be black in America. Unfortunately for them, their cause was mostly ignored and in many cases mocked by patrons and social media.
In a document obtained by Weasel Zippers, activists outline their plans for disrupting businesses, assigning members of their group to stall and talk with store owners and management. They assign various persons the tasks of taking photos, shooting video, interacting with police and ensuring the safety of illegal and disruptive demonstrations.

Ahhhh, the world of liberal progressives – from the government that give us: Toilets that don’t flush, Cars that don’t start, detergents that don’t clean, water so hard you have to soften it and light bulbs that don’t illuminate, American Thinker has a great article highlighting how seemingly small regulations are piling up and creating big problems.

AMERICAN THINKER – Our dishwasher broke just after Christmas. The timer stopped working, and a new one costs about $100. My wife suggested that since the dishwasher is nineteen years old, we should buy a new one. Up until now it was working very quietly and efficiently, washing and drying a full load in about an hour.
We visited the appliance shop where we had recently purchased a new clothes washing machine a few months earlier. I mentioned to the salesman that our new washer was very slow, taking nearly two hours to finish a large load compared to our old one, which took about 35 minutes. With a bright smile, he explained that that was because of the new federal energy efficiency standards for clothes washers enacted by the Obama administration’s Department of Energy in May 2012.
