I worked at large hospitality company outside of a national park in UT for ten years. The population in the county the size of the state of CT was approximately 7000. Most of them children. The company needed 750 full time seasonal employees. Do the math, how else could they exist without work visas? They advertise employment nationwide and employ Native Americans willing campers. They followed all laws and employed H-2B and J1 visa holders, including housing them. They employ most of the adults in the surrounding towns that work there year round and rely on the tourist dollars earned during the busy season to sustain those towns each year. There needs to be a compromise if they strictly adhere to immigration laws and aid in the enforcement of them so that the community can continue to exist. So lettuce in the fields doesn’t exist, (just alfalfa) but somebody has to check you into your room, clean it, wash your dishes, sell you souvenirs, serve your meals, and sweep up your litter.

Lettuce harvesting equipment has existed for over 20 years, as tomato harvesting, and other produce. Hydroponic produce such as lettuce, strawberries, other leaf greens are grown in greenhouses so no pesticides or herbicides are needed & easy harvesting. Just that’s cheaper not to use existing teCchnology for harvesting food using illegal/H visa (slave) laborers than investing in technology.
Take cotton for example: China is the top producer of cotton in the world grown in the region that uses Uyghur slave labor for cultivation & processing. The US is the 4th largest producer of cotton using mechanization for cultivation, harvesting, & processing cotton. One plant in the US, takes harvested cotton & it becomes cotton bales through a totally mechanized process. The plant runs 24 hrs and uses 30 employees total for all 3 shifts. Most quilters want high quality cotton fabric not realizing that’s it produced by slave labor thinking the finished high quality cotton fabric comes from Japan, South Korea, not realizing that source of the fabric is from slave labor.

America is sca-rewed unless God intervenes. WE can’t vote our way out of this and it’s too far gone to fix legislatively. We aren’t allowed to talk bad about certain types of people when it’s obvious they are bad news, and if we do we will lose what we have eventually. I truly believe God’s judgment is coming down on America. He’s letting America have it’s drain circling immoral culture and the consequences that result from it. Nothing short of DC, Chicago, NYC, LA, Phillie, Minnesota, etc disappearing from the earth is going to right the ship. Unless you are blind you can see where we are headed. All the commentating in the world will change nothing but allow us to see what’s coming. I’m figuring I got another 5-15 years left here so I may not see the full affect of America’s demise, but my son and two daughters will. Thank God they know the truth because they’re gonna need it. There is a guy I watch on youtube occasionally, and it makes me want to say Pinball Out…., but I won’t end with that, just keep your eyes open and do what you can to protect your family.

I recall during the 2008 election season, when McCain/Palin was on the ticket, her comment about
a little fish protection in California – “In Alaska we call that bait”.
The back story was that through the EPA (I believe, but also must have had support in state regulatory
agencies) the water was shut off in the central food producing valley of California in order to protect
a species of fish that “they” thought was going to go extinct because the farmers were using the
water on their crops as I supposed they did for hundreds of years. The farmers went bankrupt.
The US started importing most of their produce from other countries.
There are programs for guest workers whereby they come to assist with farming during the growing season.
No reason for H1B visas so major companies can import foreign workers paying them less than US workers
which is the real reason for this bill. And that is another story. Ten/twenty years ago, Disney in Florida
fired their American workers, made them train their foreign replacements brought over on H1B visas
or they would not receive their two week severance pay. Before the days of twitter, etc.
It doesn’t seem that young Americans want to work. Sure they punch in, but immediately afterward they are on their phones, scrolling YouTube and TicToc videos.

Kids used to go from neighbor to neighbor asking if they could cut the grass for $.
When was the last time a neighbors kid asked to cut your grass?
Maybe we would have the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc., if there were trades classes in HS, but those have been eliminated in favor of college prep classes in gender studies and multiculturalism degrees. What has that gotten us?

But that is not likely to happen.
It’s like the old adage, “Why do bank robbers rob banks?” “Because that’s where the money is.”
Until every elected official at all levels of government is required to submit to surprise financial reviews of all of their bank accounts and other financial transactions, they will continue to find ways to get “additional” compensation for their services.
I would extend this to all immediate family members. I would also extend it to anyone else adjacent to the elected official “if” anything hinky is discovered.
Sadly, none of this will happen.

End H1B and related programs and send them all home. They are all thieves taking jobs from Americans. Require all welfare recipients to work 40 hours a week to keep their benefits. Let them pick lettuce.
AGREE and at the same time solve the Islamic ideology immigrant activities to gain more of a voice in government and takeover of local communities! Islam is not a religion, it is an ideology and should not be protected under our Constitution. We ignore at our dire peril!!
