While his invoking the Fifth Amendment would not be admissible against Fauci in a criminal prosecution, asserting his privilege today in good faith would imply that his conduct during COVID could be construed as criminal.
Senator Paul seemed surprised by Fauci’s tactic, presumably because Joe Biden pardoned Fauci for all federal offenses related to his service in government between January 1, 2014 and January 20, 2025.

Yesterday on Howie Carr’s Boston talk radio program, his Poll Question Of The Day was about Fauci and should we move on and move forward and 92% said NO.

Since government scientist, including Fauci, get “royalty” payments on their work as government employees, a determination that he was rigging the game, so to speak, for financial gain could be used to claw back a considerable amount of his wealth. Hawley is not quite accurate. Fauci did not merely “disgrace” his profession. He destroyed the public’s trust in nearly all things medical. I am sure every one of us has stories we could share in that regard.

What is the process to revoke Fauci’s pension?
Is there a way to require Fauci to repay the pension payments that he has already received?
If there is a hearing necessary to revoke pension and/or force repayment, would Fauci be required to testify at it under oath?
If Fauci gives false testimony or refuses to testify can he be charged criminals for that?
