In most states the jury duty summons process comes from registered voter rolls. As a consequence, when a person is called for jury duty and is then disqualified as a non-citizen, we have another way to judge the scale of non-citizens on the voter rolls.
Reviewing lists of disqualified non-citizen jurors is now taking place in many counties led by citizen inquiry. The disqualification records, “non-juror” lists are public records in many states and counties. These reviews are turning up tens-of-thousands of non-citizens who are on juror lists, which means they are also on voter rolls.
(New Jersey Globe) – About 75,000 noncitizens are summoned for jury duty in New Jersey each year, based on data from three state government agencies, including the Motor Vehicle Commission — a stunning figure that widens the scope of a growing controversy over government databases that may incorrectly identify noncitizens as eligible voters and jurors.
While the number is alarming, there’s no indication that noncitizens have served on a jury since the judiciary implemented additional guardrails to prevent it.
“Prospective jurors are asked about their citizenship and other qualifications when they complete the mandatory juror qualification questionnaire,” said Pete McAleer, a spokesman for the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts. “Those who advance are reminded of the eligibility requirements during jury orientation and are directly questioned about their citizenship during jury selection by the judge and, as permitted, the attorneys.”
In between, potential jurors watch a training video that includes the citizenship requirement.
The revelation of noncitizens making their way into jury pools comes three days after Gov. Mikie Sherrill disclosed that an alleged software glitch at motor vehicles led to the inclusion of roughly 6,600 noncitizens on New Jersey’s voter rolls; Sherrill blamed the vendor, IDEMIA, and said less than 400 noncitizens have voted in recent elections.
According to McAleer, the judiciary processes more than one million summonses annually for potential jury service and randomly selects records provided from the Division of Elections, the Division of Taxation, and the MVC. (read more)
That 75,000/yr number are just those summoned people who disqualified themselves by being truthful about their status. I firmly believe the average non-pretending American will soon to realize/admit that many non-citizens actually remained on juries and passed judgement during trial.
Illegal aliens voting in elections is happening, we all know it and even though the media is still trying to retain their lies, you can tell that stance is softening against the reality. However, illegal aliens sitting as jurors in trials, will create a big-time constitutional mess that is something the communist left and media will never admit.
I was a permanent resident alien for decades, here in Los Angeles. I often got Jury Summons. However, you have to check a box that you ARE A CITIZEN in order to be called. I simply mailed the envelope back.
Someone was voting that ballot you can be sure.
I am speculating that there is also an unusually high number of “people” who never respond to a summons. In fraud centers, the powers in charge are incentivised to not look deeply into this, or actually at all. A map of the prosecution rate of non responding jurors could be interesting.
If the courts want to call working people for jury duty, they need to get rid of the BS selection process and seat a jury from a random selection of the pool. Why should Joe Citizen have to go and sit around for days and then be sent home after being excused for no particular legitimate reason.
Either that or enact a professional pool of jurors who are well vetted of impartiality and homesty.
The two counties where I served as a juror here in Pennsylvania have streamlined the process a lot. And this goes back to the late 1990’s when I first served on a county jury.
The first county tells you up front: A lot of pre-vetting has already been done and, if you’re called, you are most likely going to be selected. And that you will know one way or the other by some early part of the day (around 9:30 or 10:00am if I recall). Sure enough, I got there around 8am and was sitting on a jury by around 9am. That trial lasted a week.
The second county (where I live now) says, at worst, you will be there one day if not selected. Most likely less than a full day. The night before, you call and you may have already been eliminated — happened to me once I think, my wife’s outcome multiple times.
My first in person experience at the second county resulted in a late day seating, then a plea deal while we sat. So a full day to get selected, but then have the trial end.
The second time I had to go in, I knew by around 10-11am that I was not selected.
So in no case in the last 30 years or so have I ever had to sit around for days.
At federal court way back in the 1980’s I did have to have to sit around. I was there almost a full two weeks, called in for several selection processes until finally picked as an alternate. A mistrial about 10 minutes in then sent me home. They let me schedule that federal jury time over college break — I was originally summoned in the middle of the fall semester.
Here is south Texas when I was called, I was told a LOT of people never respond and with limited resources not much the county can do with those. So I would say the prosecution rate is extremely low.
Of the “75,000”, how many of them were illegal? Using federal government math, probably all 100,000 of them.

I am 64. I have been called twice & have been empanelled once. Once for county superior court (empanelled) & once for federal district Court (dismissed after waiting around a day). My wife is 74 and never called. My mother is 91 and never called. My father died at 90, never called.
None of us are or were felons.
I speculate that jury summonses are not as random as they are purported to be. When I was called in King County WA and sat, I was, although a conservative, a [closed shop] member of a leftist controlled union, and associated with a very leftist synagogue.
I think that jury pools many places may be preselected for presumed ideology. We certainly observe that randomly selected judges appear not to be randomly selected.
I imagine that there is an unacknowledged process of trying to make juries “look like the community” rather than the non-felon citizen demographic. This might multiply the the number of registered illegals called beyond their fraction of the voter rolls.
74k per year still implies huge numbers registered. I wonder how many are registered multiple times under multiple identities collecting multiple benefits and voting multiple times?
