According to President Trump he held a phone call with Senator Graham at approximately 7:00pm last night, and Graham noted he just returned from a trip to Ukraine and was a little tired. Yes sudden cardiac arrest is quite common. That the first reports put in ‘after a short illness’ has fired people up, but we don’t know if it’s true or if it is the media sensationalizing things. It could be the blood clot, it may have given him heart problems, sent him to the hospital and then killed him in the hospital. That would be a short illness. Still it’s just speculation. We need more time for the sensational headlines to fade and to get some real facts. I can wait and see, because whatever it is it is not bringing Graham back to life.

I live in SC. At church this morning no one mentioned Lindsey Graham. I hope he made amends with God, and I say this with no disrespect. I think he will be forgotten here by the end of the month. The article had a timeline of the 911 dispatcher and the fire department rescue squad.
The woman told them the door should be unlocked, but it wasn’t and no one answered their knock, so they had to wait for authorization to break in. So that wasted time instead of them being able to help him.
She said she was in Baltimore and was on her way there. I’m wondering if it was his sister as they seemed to be very close.

Another unspoken element is the DC area weather this time of year.
Mid July through into early September, the DC area is among the most difficult anywhere to live. The stories about summers in DC over the decades are legendary. Alexander Graham Bell used to live in his DC basement, drinking lemonade to stay cool.
High heat, very high humidity — and virtually no air movement. The air just sits there, nary a breeze. It becomes an unbearable sauna. It’s the reason the downtown capitol area becomes a ghost town this time of year, as anyone who is able to, gets out of town.
If Graham was out in that DC weather, even moving from vehicle to vehicle, with a prevailing cardiac issue, it could be a contributing factor to someone with a heart on the edge.

Before the existence of the COVID jabs, I would’ve been more inclined toward conspiracies surrounding Graham’s death. In the post- (and ongoing) jab era, I’m looking at a septuagenarian who has looked bloated, with bad color, for a couple/few years now, who apparently works a lot of hours in a stressful job, takes frequent long distance flights to far flung locales, and whose first priority is not diet or exercise or matters of maintaining good health. So, for now I’m going with an unhealthy aging male, who may or may not have received the latest COVID “booster.”

Graham always looked pale to me and out of shape. Compare him to Robert Kennedy who is 72 years and in great shape. A sedentary lifestyle, rich food and a family history of heart problems mostly likely caused his early death. I say “early death” because my dad lived to be 101 and my mom is still living independently at the age of 100! More senators need to take care of themselves like Robert Kennedy!
