According to President Trump he held a phone call with Senator Graham at approximately 7:00pm last night, and Graham noted he just returned from a trip to Ukraine and was a little tired. Moments later Graham apparently suffered a medical event and President Trump was informed of his death at around 1:00am ET. WATCH:

More than half of the Senators are 70 or older. 24 of them are over 80.
People of that age who are in a high pressure job filled with corruption, and who are engaged in “colorful” lifestyles, would naturally be susceptible to sudden death.

I had relentlessly criticized Lindsay Graham for years when I was removed from the ballot in 2022. At the time the most recent polling had me soundly winning the race for Congress.
Lindsay Graham got my phone number and called me wanting to contribute $ to my lawsuit to get back on the ballot, despite my criticism, and said it was unAmerican that people wouldn’t get the chance to vote for me.
I’m sure he would’ve voted for someone else if he lived in the district but still, he wanted people to get to vote for who they wanted to vote for and ultimately, for people told decide the election instead of a dozen people in a back room.
Ultimately the lawsuit didn’t restore my name on the ballot (the back room won) but I was always perplexed and moved by him doing that because he knew what I had publicly said about him and he knew I was more right wing than him. Still, he wanted to help fix it.
He even offered to call SEC members who had voted to remove my name from the ballot. For all my foreign policy criticism of Lindsay, this was a totally genuine/non-cynical offer. I told him I wouldn’t stop criticizing his foreign policy and he laughed, saying he wouldn’t count on it.
Lots of people do things for cynical/bad reasons in DC but he genuinely just wanted to help because he saw it as totally wrong to steal that choice from voters. It showed me a side of him I hadn’t seen or imagined. So, yeah, Lindsay Graham was a man of complexities.
Also incredibly cool he adopted his sister after his parents died and managed all of that as a young man.
I sincerely hope no state actor was involved in his death because that’s the last thing the world needs BUT it must be fully investigated since he was very active in both the Russia and Iran conflicts. Especially since he just left Ukraine. Wishing peace and God’s love to his family!

According to President Trump Senator Graham was also pushing the Save America Act hard enough to get it passed. I’m very suspicious of his sudden tragic death just before that effort culminates in a vote.
The Senator had just completed a lengthy plane flight from Ukraine. However, I was reading online that there are no commercial flights directly out of UKR due to the war.
That a person must travel first to somewhere like Moldova, and take a flight from there.
The distance from Kyiv to Washington, DC is just under 5,000 miles… but due to the need to fly out of Moldova (or another hub)… the total travel time from UKR to IAD (Washington, DC) is anywhere from 18 to 24 hours.
Having flown long distance flights myself, ranging from 15 hours per leg to a total of far more than 24 hours from departure to destination… the danger of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) becomes a real possibility. You’re encouraged to get up and move… or do some leg exercises while sitting… so blood doesn’t pool in your lower extremities.
Prolonged immobility exacerbates the problem.
For a 71-year old man who’s overweight, doesn’t get much exercise, maybe had a few drinks, doesn’t get enough rest… and doesn’t get up and move enough during that journey… the chances of developing DVT must increase greatly.
If you recall, NBC reporter David Bloom died of a pulmonary embolism caused by DVT during the 2003 Iraq War (Gulf War 2) due to extended time spent in cramped
armored vehicles. Bloom was only 39.
Someone such as Graham – who has traveled extensively – may dismiss such concerns because they do it all the time. However, just because you’ve played Russian Roulette a dozen times… doesn’t mean your number won’t finally come up.

I can seriously respect and admire what he did for his sis. but lets be real about military (i.e. government ) service. its necessary, but no one’s doing it without pay and bennies. and in that situiation, if it comes down between a choice between your natural rights and someones pay and bennies, your rights are not going to have a strong chance. lets not kid ourselves. thats how it is.

From what I have read Governor McMaster is more of a Conservative Republican than most of the RINOs in the North Carolina Legislature. They overruled the Governor on Re-Districting the state, so I think he will do the right thing for President Trump.

The Lord works in strange ways….imagine that Lindsey Graham’s final gift in this life, was a telephone conversation with the President. While I didn’t always agree with his politics, I felt that Graham would be a presence that would be around forever. He was an American ‘institution’ and will be sorely missed. RIP Lindsey Graham.

It was very obvious Senator Graham was not well. He had inflammation that was obvious, his weight was unhealthy, and I doubt his diet was very good. He probably ate out a lot.

I’m not saying that’s what happened. But it could be theoretically possible. Hopefully that is something the tox reports should check for.

Als abrupt discontinuation of antihypertensive drugs known to cause rebound hypertension after cessation of therapy, such as beta-blockers, may also cause aortic dissection.
Amphetamines, including methamphetamine and other phenylethylamines can also lead to aortic dissections, and based on the fact that any drug that can dangerously increase blood pressure, seems to have this serious side effect.
Coming at this from President Trump’s side, you have to wonder how he feels having talked to Senator Graham after he arrived home then a few hours later, probably awakened from his sleep to be told that Senator Graham was dead. That had to be a real shock.
