Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu representing Israel, and President Donald Trump representing the United States, apparently had a testy telephone call about ongoing Israeli strikes against Hezbollah attacks from Lebanon.
Iran, essentially IRGC control officers who now control the government, had previously said their terms for negotiation required Israel to stop strikes into Lebanon against their allies in Hezbollah. However, under the cover of that term, Hezbollah restarted rocket attacks from Lebanon against Israel. Yesterday, Israel began counter-attack operations against Hezbollah, which led to Iran saying the terms of the negotiation were now violated, and they would stop discussions with the USA.
[NOTE – This overall dynamic is very similar to Saudi Arabia coming under fire about a month ago, and their anger toward the USA for essentially saying Saudi had to accept the attacks so that diplomatic talks could continue. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salmon rejected the expectation and challenged President Trump with Saudi allied base cooperation.]
Apparently, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu had a strong discussion, some have leaked a very angered and open exchange, about Netanyahu launching strikes into Lebanon again.
On social media, it looks like this. Netanyahu put’s the Israel position via X:

President Trump responds to Netanyahu’s intentions with a phone call and then a follow-up on his Truth Social Account:
From leaks of the background conversation, a very testy narrative appears:
AXIOS – “President Trump lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel’s escalation in Lebanon in an expletive-laden call on Monday, two U.S. officials and a third source briefed on the call told Axios.” {source}
♦ ♦ ♦
NY Post – President Trump reportedly tore into Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, demanding the leader resist strikes on Hezbollah in an expletive-laden phone call.
The tense call came after Iran threatened to withdraw from negotiations with the US after Israel ordered strikes on terrorists in southern Beirut — with Axios reporting the president at one point asking, “What the f–k are you doing?”
“You’re f–king crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this,” a US official told Axios, summarizing Trump’s comments.
Another source described Trump as sounding “pissed,” and claimed the president “steamrolled” the Israeli prime minister on the call. “Bibi said, ‘OK, OK, just make sure everything is taken care of,’” the second official said.
The president was reportedly aware Hezbollah had been firing on Israeli troops but concerned that Netanyahu was disproportionately escalating the situation — and potentially hurting US negotiations with Tehran.
Shortly after the call, Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social: “I had a very productive call with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, of Israel, and there will be no Troops going to Beirut, and any Troops that are on their way, have already been turned back. (read more)
It is easy to see both sides in this dynamic.
It is also easy to see how Iran can manipulate the Hezbollah third-party aspect against Israel, as Iran previously did directly with attacks against Saudi Arabia. Iran demanding Israeli attacks against their friends in Hezbollah must stop in order to negotiate. When the attacks stop, Iran then tells their friends to attack Israel.
This is the duplicitous evil within the approach of Iran that Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States have previously said makes negotiations with Iran impossible.
Brent crude surged as much as 7.1% above $97.50 and WTI climbed over $94.50 per barrel on Monday, reversing recent declines. The rally was driven by fears over the Strait of Hormuz and potential closure of Bab el-Mandeb, both critical to global oil flows. Analysts warn that even with a deal, supply relief would be gradual, while disruptions could keep prices elevated despite weak demand in China and Europe.
Analysts outline two scenarios: a credible peace deal could trigger an immediate $20 per barrel drop as Gulf shipping resumes, or prolonged deadlock could push prices toward historic highs if chokepoints remain blocked. Iran’s leverage over Hormuz and demands for larger concessions suggest talks could drag on. With inventories falling and reserves depleting, a mid-year supply crunch looms if diplomacy fails {source}

Isn’t Hezbollah a terrorist organization that needs to be eradicated anyway? They have no right to exist to begin with.
Imagine if you will
Two Presidents
Of Corporate Administrations
Having aligned interests
And engaged in a hostile corporate takeover of a competitor caught engaging in corporate espionage
The target of takeover has many employees aligned with one of the Presidents
One skilled in deals
AND
The target has corporate Directors
Aligned with the OTHER President . . .
One known for. . .
Backroom deals. . .
Leveraging controlling interest,
Possibly even unethically. . .
Now. . . .
Imagine the Deal Maker; getting really frustrated with the the back room President
. . .
Finding out there were backroom deals with unethical subcontractors
AND
A magic coffee shop
Welcome, to the twilight zone
Thanks Sundance for the info.
Seems to me that the “unknown unknowns” are now the dominant factor when trying to pattern recognize all that so far is known.
I say we stay calm, and carry on…
The next shoe to drop???? …Larry Johnson on the Mario Nawfal video channel just said Iran is on the eve of
detonating a nuclear bomb. @ the 1:27 mark…
I heard from a reliable source that Iran has specially trained chipmunks that can dig hundreds of feet below the terrain and bring buried nuclear dust to the surface in tiny bespoke backpacks.
They’re really cute, but dedicated workers.
It’s just a few ounces at a time, but god willing, in 4-5 weeks they’ll have enough fissile material.
Allah Chipbar!!
At least those chipmunks will be easy to track with all of that radiation exposure.
Israel is going to do everything in it’s power to compel President Trump to go into full out war with Iran.
Greater Israel Project is a real thing.
Time for BIbi to go bye bye
Most “knowledgeable” voices seem to agree that as soon as peace breaks out, Bibi WILL go bye-bye… to prison.
And that would give MI6/City of London/CIA/Mossad/Five Eyes all the leverage they need to keep this war going.
It’s a tough nut to crack. Divine assistance would be welcomed.
Completely disagree
So, maybe, just maybe….it’s not so crazy that, passionate die hard MAGA who voted since 2016, and warned against this war, aren’t the awful terrible people Fox News has made them out to be?
I would like to know who else was in the room with Trump during that phone call
How does the New York Post have such knowledge of these things? I highly doubt that President Trump is on a party line (yeah, I’m that old) while in deep discussions with these other, world and country leaders. Bah!
Look at past articles as to who leak via NYT and Washington Compost
I way I read it was the NY Post was just repeating what Axios put out – unsubstantiated anonymous sources…
The Vindman Brothers?
I’ve checked with all my usual Ukrainian-born, retired US Army, NSC contacts, but came up empty this time.
Negotiating with crazy is a fool’s errand, but Trump is no fool. So, what is to be done?
The President is backed into end times, when they say peace and safety sudden destruction will come upon then.
What we see unfolding is Biblical.
BB is doing it on purpose because he believes this country is his Bitch and piggy bank.
Seeing BB on commercials saying they no longer want U.S. welfare is a complete joke.
Is Fake is being saved for last.
Yawn…..
Why hasn’t Netanyahu been executed for crimes against humanity?
Because I granted him a pardon.
Because Islam doesn’t rule the planet.
Because most of the world is happy to see Gaza and the “Palestinians” reap what they’ve sown for decades.
Next question?
The Iranian regime is apocalyptic in its ideology. It must be defeated.
You could say the same about Israel under Netanyahu.
Do you know what apocalyptic means? Israel is not in that same category
You could but that would be……inaccurate
no. not even close. the itanians are twelvers. the jews are victims.
Not even close to being accurate or true.
Jews celebrate and honor life.
Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Muslims murder and are a death cult.
Ask all the terrorists and Palestinians that Israel has rescued, operated on in their hospitals, and saved. They don’t have to do that. Read Brigitte Gabriel’s story
Look at the emaciated and abused hostages the Palestinians finally released. They are sick, barbaric people.
Name a conflict that Israel started versus responding to being attacked. Show us the women Israeli soldiers raped or babies beheaded like Hamas did on Oct 7th. Show us the video of Jews dancing in the streets and passing out candy when Arabs get killed like Palestinians do when Jews get killed. Show us the Israeli suicide bombers. Oh, wait… they don’t blow up innocent civilians.
It’s 99% lies and you trying to make an equivalency is disgusting and ignorant.
Iran is gonna lear. Does anyone really think President Trump does not see through this charade? Iran can’t be trusted you say? Well, thank you so much for that. The death toll will rise, and soon.
All I know is that if my neighbor was throwing explosives into my backyard, you can bet I would respond “disproportionately”.
how about if your neighbor’s great grandfather murdered your great grandfather ?
Nothing at all to do with either one of us
I’m sorry, but this is all on the US. We should never have agreed for the ceasefire to include Lebanon. When you allow an Iranian proxy to dictate the terms of a ceasefire, you knew it was going to end like this.
Mark Levin won’t like this one bit.
Welcome. Don’t believe I have seen you round these parts before.
On the one hand, “Donald Trump always wants to make a Deal.” This notion enables the idea that it’s plausible that he would begin to curse when this doesn’t turn out to be the case. However, I genuinely suspect that this “curse plausibility” is actually suspect. I believe that (P)DJT knows a whole lot more about “high-stakes negotiation” than this implies.
The real players in this game are going to turn out to be Iran’s “ancient Arab neighbors.” (Read the middle-eight of your Old Testament.) So far, they have not declared war. However, they are being repeatedly attacked. Therefore, I think, it is only a matter of time.
In a short period, I expect that the situation will very greatly escalate against Iran. But, now, it will not simply be “USA and Israel” who are doing it. The other nations, who for 47-odd years have “put up with it,” are going to become actively involved.
Yes, it is inevitably going to “turn kinetic.” But, this time, it won’t simply be two parties firing the guns and missiles.
the whole scenario, panama canal, venezuela, cuba, the two operations and blockade in the strait point at extreme planning, whether the traitor democrats like it or not.
Netanyahu isn’t helping, but let’s be honest, it’s a real Hail Mary long shot at getting the Iranian IRGC to back down in these “Hamster Wheel negotiations”. They don’t seem to have given an inch.
“This is the duplicitous evil within the approach of Iran that Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States have previously said makes negotiations with Iran impossible.”
“The TRUTH has no agenda.”
If SA and the Gulf States are fully aware that negotiations with Iran are impossible, then why did they beg Trump NOT to restart kinetic actions?
Nineteenth Century UK Prime Minister Lord Palmerston once said,
“We have no eternal allies, and we have no perpetual enemies. Our interests are eternal and perpetual, and those interests it is our duty to follow.”
Netanyahu, as Israel’s Prime Minister, is protecting Israel’s interests. Trump is protecting US interests.
While those interests may often make the two countries allies, in the end it is his own nation’s security and survival for which each man has the responsibility.
“Too Many Cooks” comes to mind. Also makes me think of a scene in the movie “A Christmas Story”. Grover Dill was quite the brave little fella, as long as Scott Farkus was around…Then FAFO shows up!
Leak…who is the leak and how reliable is this?
Something’s suspicious…
Bottom line, President Trump is chasing a false peace.
Buckle up.
Put your faith in Jesus Christ, profess your belief in Him.
And hold onto that faith.
you are right, in the long run. anything man does is temporary. we are trying to maintain.
I don’t understand why 47 and his people refuse to recognize that the only way to get our main objective, no nukes and no nuke program, is through regime change. Even if the current regime agrees, they cannot be trusted to adhere to it. Blow them up.
Yes. Even the fourth and fifth stringers need to be eliminated too. Can’t trust anyone in middle management either so far as that regime goes. The people need to rise up and create something different from the ashes. How do we encourage them to do that?
At this point and I’m sure I will get blow back, but F Iran, Israel and the Middle East, finish off Iran and let’s get the F out of this hell hole and let the chips fall where they may.
AND we beleive Axio’s story because they have always been truthfull, objective and un-biased.
Nothing but anonymous sources and hystera that even convinced the NY Post to re-print the story…
What else have you got? What did I miss?
I am with you on that thought. Not buying Israel Times quoting Axios. I prefer to wait and see what really happens because there are very few who know what is actually happening and Axios ain’t one of them.
One of the gorillas in the room is the dwindling supply of oil stocks including certain base oils used to make motor oils. When the Shell plant at Qatar was hit that really impacted supplies for them. Shell makes Pennzoil and Quaker State. Chevron is the latest to sound the alarm.
Some estimates show the SPR approaching the 50% capacity mark which is very low.
The next few weeks are crucial.
I have been a supporter of PDJT. I voted for him twice, because I wanted the policies on multiple important issues that he advocated and seems to be following. I agree with the analyses here of Sundance. However, I am very disappointed with how Trump has been handling the Iran situation. He abruptly halted the joint attack with Israel, lost all the momentum of war. So abruptly, in fact, that despite the vaunted coordination with Israel, their planes had to be called back when they were on their way for continued attacks on Iran. And what for? To negotiate with an extremist, fanatical, duplicitous Shi’ite Islamist regime that commits mass murder on its own population and was raining ballistic missiles in the style of the Nazi blitz on London in WWII not only on Israel but on the US allies in the Persian Gulf. Iran successfully not only halted shipping in the Strait of Hormuz but also struck strategic petroleum and other economic targets. Trump was not able to stop their economic blackmail of the world. There was one Israeli journalist who has seemed well-informed (though I don’t like his politics) who said the plan for an invasion by Kurds from Iraq into Iran parallel to the bombing campaign, which was intended to bring about the downfall of the mullahs’ regime, was prevented by the opposition of Edogan of Turkey. Also, supposedly, the Gulf States wanted just a weakened regime in Iran rather than its downfall. After all, they are all autocracies, not democracies like Israel, and perhaps they feared for their own stability. So now we are worse off than before–Trump looks vacillating, bombastic, a paper tiger with a big mouth. His constant contradictory outbursts make him look inept, foolish. What the hell is going on? OK, I know he has big, complex global/regional economic plans and may fear that trying to finish off the Iranian regime would derail them. But then why did he attack Iran in the first place? I still support him because I fear the alternative. But I no longer have confidence in him
Can I have paragraphs please for $500 Alex.
Islam has a problem with Gays, Jews, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhist, Hindus, Women, Non- Muslims, Atheists, beer, wine, bacon, and dogs
But if have ap problem with Islam,I I’m the bigot and Islamophobic? Can you see how ridiculous it is?
kayfabe
It appears to me that Trump believes he has Iran in a vice, and that the slowly increasing economic pressure will eventually leave the Iranian leadership with no choice but to capitulate.
His patience in allowing the negotiations to play out at a painstakingly slow pace, and his hostility toward any increase in hostilities are evidence in favor of my argument.
What do you think?
“Shedding the blood of war in peace”
The Psalmist describes such a person : “His speech was smoother than butter, but war was in his heart… he violated his covenant” (Psalm 55:20-21)
The Bible does not record a specific figure who made a false peace treaty, attacked, and then falsely accused the victim of being the aggressor in that exact sequence.
However, two prominent narratives illustrate components of this behavior: the Gibeonites (deceptive treaty) and Joab (treacherous attack after a peace agreement), while Psalm 55 describes the psychological profile of such a person.
The Gibeonites: Deceptive Peace Treaty
The Gibeonites are the primary example of a group securing a peace treaty through deception to avoid destruction, though they did not subsequently attack Israel.
The Deception: Fearing Israel’s military power, the Gibeonites disguised themselves as travelers from a distant land, using worn-out sandals and moldy bread to fake a long journey (Joshua 9:4-5).
The Treaty: Based on this lie, Joshua and the Israelite leaders made a covenant of peace with them, swearing an oath to let them live (Joshua 9:15).
The Outcome: When the deception was discovered three days later, Israel honored the oath but enslaved the Gibeonites as woodcutters and water carriers rather than destroying them (Joshua 9:18-21). They did not attack Israel; rather, they later called on Israel to defend them against other attackers (Joshua 10:6).
Joab: Treachery After a Peace Agreement
While not a treaty-maker himself, Joab (David’s general) exemplifies the betrayal of a peace agreement and the subsequent murder of a former enemy who was under protection.
The Context: Abner, the commander of the opposing army, had negotiated a peace treaty with King David to unite Israel. David sent Abner away “in peace” (2 Samuel 3:21-23).
The Attack: Joab, acting without David’s knowledge, tricked Abner into returning under the pretense of a private conversation and stabbed him to death (2 Samuel 3:27).
The Accusation: Before the murder, Joab falsely accused Abner of espionage, claiming to David that Abner had come only “to deceive you and to learn your movements” (2 Samuel 3:25), effectively painting the victim as the aggressor to justify his own treachery.
Biblical Condemnation: King David later described Joab’s act as shedding “the blood of war in peace” (1 Kings 2:5)
Does anyone believe you can talk the IRGC into behaviour modification? It’s all delay tactics and dragging us in November with nothing to show. I remember that one week deadline months ago.
The I see it Iran decided to admit Hezbollah is part of the IRGC and they are in control.. it’s time to end the IRGC ..
I look back upon my two teenage daughters and how they loved to manipulate situations in their favor. They would do it until it didn’t. Not trying to oversimplify Trump’s situation, but a point must be reached soon where somebody gets grounded for taking advantage one time too many.
Israel never stopped military operations in Southern Lebanon. The “cease fire” was and is a joke. You cease we’ll keep firing is the MO of Israel. The negotiations between Israel and Lebanon are a joke. The Lebanese government is a joke. It’s a corrupt failed state. A government that allows.a foreign army to kill its civilian population as it turns a blind eye is not legitimate.
Its all a ruse between Trump and Bibi. Trump gets the Iranians to stop firing at Israel so Israel can concentrate their firepower on annexing Lebanon. Once Israel has achieved their objectives, Trump will start the kinetic action on Iran.
Blockade everything Iranian, they fire a missile drone shoot AK’s at passing ships if it even looks like they are dropping a mine, bomb something they need. To heck with the two-faced pieces of garbage.
Isreal has a right to defend themselves and the hellbollah’s should be eliminated.
The WH source talking to Axios needs to be fired!
