Delivering a message from his Truth Social account, earlier today President Trump rejected the latest proposal from Iran to settle the current embargo, sanctions and conflict.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also appeared on U.S. media today with a lengthy broadcast interview on CBS 60-Minutes. The primary topic of the interview is the Iran conflict and Netanyahu’s perspective on what Americans should expect from this engagement.
Interestingly, one of the fatal flaws in the Tucker Carlson theory of Israel leading the conflict, is the position of the Arabs in the Middle East as it relates to the U.S. military confrontation with Iran. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Egypt all strongly support the U.S-led military effort to eliminate the threat Iran represents. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) does not want the U.S. to ease up on Iran.
Negotiating with Iran is proving to be an unviable course of action.
I thought we learned that lesson years ago, that you do not negotiate with terrorists. You eliminate them. If that’s the whole IRGC, so be it.

Only if an accord with Iran is the goal. It is probable that President Trump already knows that the bat guano IRGC cannot be trusted and will never make a deal. If such is the case, then he has been using these negotiations to further his strategic goals.
What is more likely:
a) Trump is a fool and is clueless about the Mullahs, placing all his eggs in the deal basket, or
b) He understands exactly who he is dealing with and therefore knows a deal is impossible.
It was never viable. We should utilize the The Fifth Element method of negotiation. “Anyone else want to negotiate?”
