Delivering a message from his Truth Social account, earlier today President Trump rejected the latest proposal from Iran to settle the current embargo, sanctions and conflict.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also appeared on U.S. media today with a lengthy broadcast interview on CBS 60-Minutes. The primary topic of the interview is the Iran conflict and Netanyahu’s perspective on what Americans should expect from this engagement.
Interestingly, one of the fatal flaws in the Tucker Carlson theory of Israel leading the conflict, is the position of the Arabs in the Middle East as it relates to the U.S. military confrontation with Iran. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Egypt all strongly support the U.S-led military effort to eliminate the threat Iran represents. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) does not want the U.S. to ease up on Iran.

If Tucker is controlled by Qatar as rumor would have it, why don’t they shut him up. At this point Qatar is a defacto ally of Israel. I think Tucker’s antisemitism is home grown.
How is it antisemitic to be against Israel?
It’s just one of those things that you’re not supposed to think too hard about, like the fact that the Palestinians are far more ethnically “Semitic” than the Israelis.
It’s not. But when your entire life revolves around demonizing the sole Jewish nation and spreading lies, one may rightly question his true intentions.
I did not realize that all of Qatar’s billionaires think exactly alike. Who knew?
From a historical perspective he should have countered…Nuts…
Gas is getting close to $5. Why? How can a country that no longer has a navy, can’t shoot anything down, and only has some small boats still manage to control the Strait and control the cost of energy? How can the US Navy not provide the necessary security for shipping in such a small area? And why was this mission of escorting shipping through the Strait cancelled only after 24 hours. Is Trump trying to ensure that republicans don’t win the mid-terms?
I’ve been asking these same questions. How does a regime with no organization and military still control the Straight of Hormuz? Why are the ships not moving with the US agreeing to insure the ships and escort them with our Navy?
Something just doesn’t add up.
CIA’s Washington Post said that they still have 75% of their missiles and drones. That might be how. Implication is that Hegseth is lying or exaggerating greatly. Rumors are that they setup balloons and sand surfaces to look like missile launchers and we blew several of those up.
There is the psychological and insurance aspects as well. Insurers are not known for taking chances; and it’s still dicey to ride a boat short of a destroyer through the strait. These tankers and cargo ships are huge and expensive with very expensive cargo and are manned by a bunch of people. There’s liability for cargo and for sailors that was probably not included in the original contracts drawn before they sailed across the strait.
This is why Trump offered “escorts” and insurance. The US military would have aircraft and missile assets positioned to ensure safe passage. It’s still a risky prospect as one tanker was within 20 miles of passage and abruptly turned around.
In theory, our domestic production is enough that domestic gas prices should not be impacted by issues in the middle east. We are now a net exporter. But, oil is a commodity and based on the price of oil on the open market, which is not only controlled by supply and demand, but by speculation, news, conjecture, and the controlling interests of OPEC, et al.
Who in the world is still following Tucker Carlson? He can speak his mind but I dump any pundit that I don’t agree with, especially those trying to drive a wedge between President Trump and us. Or someone suggesting to vote for Democrats to punish RINOs. Primary is only place to do that and even that can have complications because you need to vote for the Republicans who can win. Who President Trump endorses is usually a sure bet.
Tucker probably knows what you’re saying but digging in his heels, maybe getting paid by someone as others have suggested.
Thank you, Sundance!
