Delivering a message from his Truth Social account, earlier today President Trump rejected the latest proposal from Iran to settle the current embargo, sanctions and conflict.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also appeared on U.S. media today with a lengthy broadcast interview on CBS 60-Minutes. The primary topic of the interview is the Iran conflict and Netanyahu’s perspective on what Americans should expect from this engagement.
Interestingly, one of the fatal flaws in the Tucker Carlson theory of Israel leading the conflict, is the position of the Arabs in the Middle East as it relates to the U.S. military confrontation with Iran. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Egypt all strongly support the U.S-led military effort to eliminate the threat Iran represents. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) does not want the U.S. to ease up on Iran.

Stone Age!!!!!!!
One can not make peace with people who don’t want peace. Terrorist groups don’t want peace. Haven’t they proved that already?
I understand why Trump has to put up the facade of negotiating. If he just skipped that entire waste of time process, who knows what names his opponents might call him ?
after all his years of negotiating with all sorts of unsavory characters in the NYC real estate biz, he knows right off the hop whether the other party is negotiating in good faith. Trump has hated Iran since the mid 80s, he knows there is no political solution.
It’s called regrouping and resupply, in the discombobulator mode. Also doing the dance for the left goon media. (All rolled up into a maneuver the Ds are blind to thanks to their chronic TDS.)
Who knows what names his opponents will call him no matter what he does?
Too right
He stopped attacking. For now. Notably, the Iranian Mullahs didn’t.
Negotiating with Iran is proving to be an unviable course of action.
I thought we learned that lesson years ago, that you do not negotiate with terrorists. You eliminate them. If that’s the whole IRGC, so be it.
Correct.
I think we will end up having to see that. Cause they don’t negotiate. They’re terrorists
If they DO negotiate, so what?
Say we conclude this “memo” that Pres’s nephew is negotiating
Then what?
What if they don’t hold up their end of the agreement?
Because taqiyya
Then whaddya got?
Time for Phase 2 to clobber ALL the rest of their missiles and launchers and run a raid to grab that enriched uranium
And a couple night-vision strafing runs to sink all those “fast boats” while they’re tied up at their docks at the marina
I was reading my Bible the other day and came across this verse I Chronicle 1:10 Cush was the father of Nimrod who grew to be a mighty warrior on earth. Godspeed Nimrodman!
They are negotiating to give them time to get cheap arms like drones from China basically.
This administration knows that time is on their side.
Unless Iran can keep it’s oil flowing out of the country, their wells will need to be shut down.
WHEN the wells are shutdown, they will be in serious trouble financially…..more than they are right now.
Iranians know the clock is ticking, giving them time to keep face and make a deal the world wants.
The clock will run out without us having to do anything but sit in the blockade.
Trump is giving these people the opportunity to do right for themselves, their people, their neighbors and ultimately the world.
It’s anybody’s guess what will occur when the wells are shut down.
There is one thing easily visible: the zealotry of the IRGC.
So far all such predictions have proved to be wrong. The ability of zealots to wait is far better than we Americans. So far no predictions have been accurate – we have not bombed their military capabilities beyond useability nor beyond repair as well as resupply.
What happened to the plan to arm the citizens?
Further warnings are just more hot air.
I have read some analyses of the number of tankers exiting Iran and the usage of rails by them to transport oil as well. They have gotten some tankers out that transferred their cargo to other ships once outside the straight. Also, they share a coastline with Pakistan (neutral) and crossed outside of US control that way. Estimates were that Iran could do this for 3 or 4 more months. The rest of the world can’t wait.
They can also dump the oil in the water instead of closing their wells. A messy option, but an option just the same.
I don’t think we can count on that leading them to compromise with POTUS. Eventually, the US will have more accurate tracking of their missile launchers and other facilities that will enable the AF/Navy to remove more of the threat if Trump decides to go hot again.
Apparently, they attempted to run a raid to grab the enriched uranium and failed. The dude leading that mission in the AF was the one they sent a search party out for. The Iranians were ready for them and they had to destroy the aircraft they flew in on lest the Iranians confiscate them. That is a security measure. Then, the people were retrieved during the rescue operation. Thankfully, they were successful with that.
I think this current wait status by POTUS is allowing the US to discover where there actual missile launchers are when the Iranians attack other countries in the Gulf and other ships. The next time the US opens fire, they will have most of the real Iranian missile launchers in their sites. We fired at a few fake ones initially. Satellite imagery can be fooled especially if the real stuff is beneath a sandy surface.
AND the mullahs ….the root of the problem .
Pretty sure Rush said the same. Make the enemy beg for mercy. War over.
It’s a hudna.
Only if an accord with Iran is the goal. It is probable that President Trump already knows that the bat guano IRGC cannot be trusted and will never make a deal. If such is the case, then he has been using these negotiations to further his strategic goals.
What is more likely:
a) Trump is a fool and is clueless about the Mullahs, placing all his eggs in the deal basket, or
b) He understands exactly who he is dealing with and therefore knows a deal is impossible.
B
You the guy who played guard for the NY Knicks a few years ago?
No. The name was chosen to honor the guy who said, “Live free or die, there are worse things than death.”
General, John Stark ? Green Mountain Boys commander ?
He was from NH, but fought with the Green Mountain Boys at the Battle of Bennington. I believe that you are thinking of Ethan Allen.
No. He commanded the Green Mountain Boys in the Battle of Bennington.
“ “Tonight the American flag floats from yonder hill or Molly Stark sleeps a widow!”
Actually, while lore says it was the Green Mountain Boys, sources say it was a mixed militia, of about 1500 men from NH & MA, and about 500 Green Mountain Boys. Stark was in command and Seth Warner was the subordinate in command of the 500 Vermont men.
You are correct that Stark was the Senior Commander.
That quote was given to his NH militia before engaging the British. The NH militia were the first to engage the British, the Green Mountain Boys reenforced them and were critical in repelling the British counterattack led by Hessians.
It was never viable. We should utilize the The Fifth Element method of negotiation. “Anyone else want to negotiate?”
Just like the lack of Deep State arrests, get ‘er done. Finish the damn job, Boss. Stop pulling the “She’s suffered enough” BS.
Pres. Trump historically has shown that’ll find a way. Just look at the Tariffs, other President’s would have given up long ago.
Also Iran if they can’t ship oil will have their infrastructure heavily damaged if they can’t ship it out. Whether they want to or not the Iranians need to negotiate, not US.
This video is from an Analyst Ryan McBeth who best sums up Iran’s situation, at the 59 Second mark to 3 minutes.
TLDR: Iran is losing $450 to $500 billion a DAY in OIL Revenues. Everyday the Siege lasts they can’t pay their Thugs. And everyday they don’t ship their oil, they risk damaging their infrastructure since they can’t store it.
Whether the Media and Progressives like to admit it, we have Iran by the throat.
Million?
Yes, millions, not billions per day, is correct.
Iran has been shipping oil out through oil reserves way out in the ocean from freighters that are ghost ships not registered with anything to do with Iran (working with China), and the Kaspian Sea as well, and they share a land boarder with Pakistan so goods, weapons, components, and all other things are moving by trains, trucks etc.
Iran is now dumping oil into the Persian Gulf.
There’s a suspected oil slick near Kharg Island (Iran’s main export terminal) showing up in satellite pics from a few days ago. Yep, a real thing, covering dozens of square km in the Persian Gulf.
But “Iran is dumping oil into the Gulf!” is pure exaggeration. Experts are speculating it could be excess crude being released because the U.S. blockade has them jammed up, no tankers loading, storage tanks overflowing, and they don’t want to shut wells permanently.
Iran flat-out denies it’s their spill, calling it enemy psyops or tanker waste (sure, sure). No confirmed proof that it’s deliberate dumping.
This isn’t some sneaky master plan; it’s the exact opposite. The blockade is squeezing their export system so hard that infrastructure is cracking under the pressure, and any “dumping” (if real) is a desperate, money-losing, environment-wrecking last resort.
Visible from space, harming marine life, and hurting their own bottom line. A classic sign that the sanctions are working, not proof that Iran is winning some shadow war.
People, stop being ridiculous.
The claim that Iran is cleverly dodging everything with “ghost ships” hauling oil from mysterious “ocean reserves” and secret Caspian routes is pure fantasy.
Iran’s actual oil comes from the Persian Gulf, not some distant deep-sea hideout, and those shadow tankers are well-known, heavily tracked by satellites and Western intelligence. They’re old, uninsured rust buckets that sell crude to China at huge discounts precisely because the risk is so high. The U.S. and allies have sanctioned dozens of them; this isn’t a brilliant workaround, it’s an expensive, leaky scramble that keeps the regime broke while middlemen get rich.
The Caspian Sea is landlocked with zero ocean access, so it can’t magically replace Gulf exports. And the shared border with Pakistan? Sure, some diesel smuggling happens by truck, but it’s not a secret superhighway for weapons and components. Relations are tense, both sides are building barriers, and large-scale arms traffic would get shut down fast.
These tactics exist because sanctions actually bite; they’re desperate workarounds, not proof of some invincible smuggling empire. The whole post confuses basic geography with geopolitical genius.
Iran does not have to get ALL of its oil out to succeed in thwarting the US blockade, they just have to get enough out to keep their wells flowing. They also have the dumping option – ugly with horrible consequences to nature but viable for them.
Nobody is saying Iran is getting ALL their oil out and its quite obvious that they are not selling as much of it as they used to. Obviously, even the higher price does not cover the income they once had or the costs of rebuilding.
That old saying that the first casualty of war is the truth, it applies to both sides of every human conflict always. Also, history is written by the victors.
None of us are living in Iran nor do we have access to the high level US, Israeli or Iranian intelligence. Time will reveal the big picture, until then, be kind to others because none of us knows.
Wow, a $180T economy!
10 barrels of water per barrel of oil? Maybe during fracking? I’ll ask Mr Grok.
Yeah this guy is spouting nonsense. He also confuses “drilling” with “producing”.
Throat? I believe a little lower place.
An unviable course of action is a plan, strategy, or project that is incapable of working successfully, functioning as intended, or being maintained over the long term. It is often described as impractical, unworkable, or doomed to failure.
I’m not sure why anyone would describe President Trump’s negotiationing in such a way. He hasn’t lost in a negotiation yet in his current form.
Have some faith. President Trump will deliver.
That should be “current term.”
Either way it is correct.
Yes, he will.
One way to consider the current situations is President Trump may be giving what is left of the mullahs and IRGC leaders time to destroy themselves, as opposed to our having to use our treasure to do the job.
He may be waiting for the leader he wants to emerge from the chaos. Or he may get tired of waiting if he sees an unwelcome leader emerging.
Which was easily predictable.
Trump is just showing the world that he gave them every fair chance. He didn’t think they would cooperate but it takes some a.munition away from some critics. IMHO
mrs. Sunshine according to Omanis negotiator both US/IRAN on 02/25/26..been closer as ever to reach agreement…why they Iaraelis decided 2 days after that to bomb Iranians…….??mrs Sunshine
There can be no peace or negotiations when one side views killing everyone sitting at the opposite end of the table as their central bargaining position.
Again, as I just posted, you cannot negotiate a mutually beneficial settlement with radical Muslims in case of Iran or Hamas any more than you can with the radicalized Democrat Party.
You simply cannot bargain with someone who believes compromise with you is immoral. That realization, when it finally arrives, tends to arrive too late.
Not to mention the incompatibility with the concept of unconditional surrender.
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116182551337254643
Not a good look for PDJT.
Stay tuned for Iran Bombing 2.0 edition. It’s gonna be a “really big show!” I am waiting for the “unconditional surrender” moment along with the freedom for most Iranian citizens, especially from the fear of being killed by those outside hired guns from other countries brought in by those loving Shiite muslims in the IRG whatever!
This lull in the kinetic has had a purpose…. Decapitation 2.0 coming….
And airdrop pallets of arms and ammo directly to Intel-ID’d resistance groups from C-130s, not via some Kurdish goobers.
Those “Intel-ID’d resistance groups” have proven to be as unreliable as, well, the other terrorists.
Let’s not forget what our intelligence community has tried to do to our President.
“Let’s not forget what our intelligence community has tried to do to our President.”
YES!!!
Savage liars cannot be dealt with on a rational level. Let the blockade & additional destruction continue! Pronto…
Sundance thank you for that.
I turned on 60 tonight because an adult child and older grandchildren were over for…
Happy Mothers Day!
The adult child is really down on Jewish folks in charge of stuff and Israel in particular.
My wife and I try to treat every individual we meet as just that-a unique person who deserves a modicum of respect until experience schools us otherwise.
We also believe there should be, at minimum, at least 20-25MM ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS deported.
The Golden Rule.
For sure Iran is trying to play the wrong president … wouldn`t want to be ya !
Interview not uploaded for Australia.
Fancy that 😎
Interesting that Canada & Australia are the only ones locked out, so far I see no alternatives to see it on, search tomorrow will probably hit rumble.
Post is only an hour old.

Time for a VPN…
I bookmarked freedom.gov on the day it was announced, not a word since then. Disappointed.
perhaps you can help me with an issue that has arise for me with accessing my couple of substack subsriptions…….
I have a VPN set to the US (I live in western Canada), and when I go to the substack it gives me a page telling me that I have to do age verification ‘in line with new laws in the UK and Australia’
any assistance will be appreciated
They are using something other than your MAC address to determine your location. It can be cookies or just your computer’s CPU, video, memory type, etc. Try a different browser – brave or firefox – free. Brave has a built in VPN. These two browsers can mask identifiers of your equipment that are putting out the non-US vibes. It’s becoming common place at all sites and using a VPN does not guard against it. Some browsers reveal more identifying information to sites than others and some mask it better than others. TOR may also work for you, but it is SLOOOW.
I expect in the near future that VPN’s will start masking your identifying equipment, TOR does already.
As was said below/above, time for a VPN
Proton has a free version but it is extremely busy, was my first foray into VPN service.
Went back to Proton (paid) as other service I had for 5 years or so is mostly blocked to access youtube.

I’m assuming we are stocking up on weapons and moving them into theater for horrendous kill shots; lulling the senior leadership into thinking we really really want to negotiate indefinitely so they show themselves above ground- where we can kill them; and giving CIA and Kurd/Arab allies time to distribute arms to the populace.
I suspect that too.
The Kurds didn’t distribute before. Why would they now? We need a different process.
I agree, I think he’s right about everything except distribution of arms to the populace. Plus, we may be manufacturing more missiles and drones.
Soetero sent them skids of $; why would they think they cannot win?
Oh. Good. What would we do without more input from Bibi?
You might have missed the fact that Israel has superb intelligence from inside Iran. They might have some useful input.
Opinions vary.
Intelligence reports, like scientific opinions, are highly subjective.
Intelligence Reports that are highly subjective are put together by incompetents or the Out of Control Deep State.
Good Intelligence Reports put in the facts, the truth……
Either the conclusions are right or they are wrong. You get rid of the folks that put together wrong conclusions. You are left with a highly functional team that does good work. Or you are left with a 5th column of DEI misfits.
Or, you pay those who interpret things the way you want them portrayed. I think you’re missing the point and have never worked from intelligence.
“Intelligence” is always suspect and subject to verification by operatives. Intelligence isn’t ground truth, and isn’t intended to seen as such. At best, it’s an educated guess from a distance.
The map is not the terrain.
I guess they just got really lucky with the DOZENS of previous kills inside of Iran. Generals, scientists, etc.
That Bibi is one lucky dude!
Don’t look down, but your bias is unzipped.
Exactly.
Israeli agents are everywhere in Iran gathering intelligence. They are above ground, underground, in the bedrooms, in the toilets.
Yeah they seem to perpetually know about all those imminent nukes.
You bet your sweet Bibi.
Iran, Britain, China, Russia, U.S. Democratic-Socialists, et al, are all, running out the clock. . .
Why, would a centuries old culture of global hatred, ever surrender to a nation, who’s entire political ideologies, work so hard to contradict themselves, every four years. . .
Once again, Iran will never surrender!
They’ll take the bombing, they’ll murder their own opposition members, burn their bodies in the streets and simply wait out the third coming, of OBAMA. . .
I’d go so far as to proffer that every voice, that is in contact with the IRGC. From John Kerry, to Macron, to Starmer and Obama himself. Have been advising the IRGC, to take that very Course of Action!
Wait it out, we’re working on controlling our Voting Machines, as we speak!
We will have Donald J. Trump, Indicted, Impeached and impotent by 2027. . .
Interesting video about the power distribution center on a merchant ship that got spanked, translation is weak due to Sal not speaking Ukrainian. It caught my attention when he said something about where the chief engineer was sitting, also 3 with burn injuries. 8 total injuries.
Some fairly interesting photos of a sunken ship…
Sal shows one ship that appears to be from July 2025, my dad abandoned ship once, is a near and dear to my heart…and he was taking pictures the whole time…from going into the lifeboat and traveling away to the ship going down…
The article that Sal is referencing at 0:36 is from July 9, 2025. That sunken ship is from last year.
The guy in the video was speaking Russian, like many Ukrainians do (if he is indeed a Ukrainian). These languages are very close, but have their differences. Maybe that’s why he couldn’t translate it well.
he uses a translation app? Sal tends to favor the merchant mariner…what was hard to figure in the first video, is that there seemed to be no visible fire damage, unless it was elsewhere…my dad’s biggest fear was always a fire in the engine room.
Unfortunately, I am ignorant of the differences of the Eastern European languages…
I’m sure he does. When you choose a wrong language to translate from in a translation app the result will not be accurate. In this case the translation sort of makes sense (most of the time) because the languages are close, and you don’t suspect that you made a wrong choice.
“Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Egypt all strongly support the U.S-led military effort to eliminate the threat Iran represents. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) does not want the U.S. to ease up on Iran. “
Are THEY all fully engaged in the effort?
🤷♀️
You can’t negotiate with religious zealot terrorists. They will never keep their word, and they believe their murderous ways are righteous and sanctioned by their god.
Believing anything they say is pure foolishness, as taqiyya directs them to lie in the furtherance of their insane religion. Lies are baked in.
Time to start acting like the victors and tell these creatures to unconditionally surrender or die.
yep
The Trump-Xi summit in Beijing is scheduled for the 14th-15th. I expect the bombing attacks on Iran will resume as soon as that is over. (Or maybe during, if PDJT wants to shock Xi in person.)
I buy the latter part of your statement.
Me, too! Trump has shocked Xi in person before. Bombed something (Syria?), while Xi was eating chocolate cake at Mar-a-Lago.
If my memory is correct, I believe PDJT in his first term, brought the Panda into the situation room at Mara logo to watch the Soleimani operation in real time. No?
my recollection of that is that Trump didn’t tell Xi that missiles were on the way to Syria (or wherever), until they were well on their way. Either he told him or an aide walked up and told him.
Primary issue is that PDJT & Co. are not only battling Iran but Congressional Democrats & RINO’s. Meaning he needs to balance the calendar, since this military action runs up against a timeline where the latter will no longer allow for it’s funding, all for the sake of giving PDJT & the American people “a loss”. Clearly, they’ve been telegraphing to Iran since the beginning that they just need to hold out long enough for this to occur & to continue making fuel prices elevated. Iran is now just slow-playing things in hopes that PDJT will cave to domestic pressures.
All this said, there is precedent that would allow PDJT to continue this action for several more months if necessary without congressional approval, therefore, “Bridge & Powerplant Day” is now overdue, it’s time to finish the job!
30 year UK gilt yields soar to 27 year high. Look at the 10 year chart:

Almost to the snap.
Just a leeeeettle bit longer.
US and “Iran” playing rope a City dope?
Iran today vows to fire on any British or French ships coming into the area – biting their masters’ hands? Interesting.
Just throwing it out there.
Years ago the Prime Minister of Israel was asked how he could make peace with the nihilist Muslims. He said “You don’t make peace with your friends”.
Iran is attempting to buy time.
Just like they never intended to report to the IAEA their nuclear stock because Obama had literally exempted them within the JCPOA even though Obama presented the JCPOA as if the IAEA was going to go into Iran and physically check the stock.
Today, Who is leading who?
China’s CCP is a snake in the grass.

Fire up the B-2’s and B-52’s! 💣💣💣💣💣💣💣. Our President has been more than generous in the time he’s given them to come to their senses.
it will be hillarious to see you in the B-22 or B-52….Hilda
I’d very happily go along, open the bomb bay doors and drop a load! 😎🇺🇸💥🇺🇸
I reckon Tucker al-Qtarlson is the mouthpiece of the GCC. He is saying what they cannot, because they are more afraid of PDJT47 than they are of Iran.
Iran tossed the slime covered ball back into the President’s court, perhaps for the last time.
The world knows they are stalling, and I anticipate the President’s next play will be a game ending slam dunk.
The Persian People want peace. This is all political and will play out. Prayers sent up.
I wish the President would stop the back bending with these criminals, send in the Marines and lay them out permanently. Trump is the best President in my lifetime, but these people have messed with the US far too long. They’re not a super power; please win the war. In the last peace proposal, it was stipulated that they could not enrich uranium for 15 years. What does that get the Arab neighbors, the US? Another war in 15 years? Free the Iranian people, President Trump! Do as you said you were going to do before this war started. Before you dropped one bomb. You said Help is on the way. Do it! No half measures, kick their A!
I could be wrong with regard to the 15 year deal on uranium. I honestly can’t remember.
NASDAQ and S&P Futures have been unchanged or slightly up all afternoon meaning Wall Street is not the least bit pessimistic about an agreement! 😎
Tucker Ivy league punk knows it all. President Trump said weeks ago he could care less about making a deal with the I-rans. We should take his word to be what he means.
The longer it goes the more the world will realize, they do not need Iranian oil. There is lots of oil everywhere.
This is how the IRGC & the mullahs operate. They tap you along with taqiyya until the real showdown happens.
If the GCC doesn’t want the US to let up on Iran then they should position their own armies to take down the IRGC.
It’s their sandbox to clean up. They should get busy scooping out the 💩
This is how the IRGC & the mullahs operate. They tap you along with taqiyya.

It’s their sandbox to clean up. They should get busy scooping out the 💩
The biggest problem that I don’t often see folks point out is that the IRGC is pulling the strings there. The political class in Iran likely wants to make a deal, but they are being held hostage by the radical Middle Ages throwbacks. Unfortunately, I don’t see any way out of this mess other than destroying as much infrastructure as possible without risking widespread harm to the civilians. Then you’ll have the liberal NWO folks scream genocide. So be it.
Say what you will, but I don’t think the Iranians are bluffing. A lot of commentary on the site truly believe we can “bomb them into the Stone Age”. Countries normally come together and defend their concept of a homeland in ways that might not be able to be replicated by the demographic of our own country. Iran lost between 500,000 to an upper estimate of 750,000 during the Iran/Iraq war. Remember please, we were backing Iraq. A few thousand people have died in Iran, so far… we have a long way to go by my humble estimate ie around 747000. If you do the math, it is near impossible without using a pretty large amount of “tactical “ nukes. My belief is that Russia China and many other countries will not let that happen. My depth in the military and DOE arena are worth at least a pause to reflect.
“it is near impossible without using a pretty large amount of “tactical “ nukes.”
I don’t think it is necessary to use nukes when fuel air explosives are extremely damaging to any living thing in range and they don’t destroy buildings, pipelines, etc
A lot of my friends believe that this Iran gambit was about China. However, the leverage case was always weaker than advertised. China has spent the better part of two decades systematically building alternative supply architecture. Russian oil is already flowing east at scale. The Saudis and UAE aren’t going to subordinate their own commercial and political interests to an American pressure campaign on China indefinitely, especially when they’re simultaneously cultivating relationships with Beijing. Libya is chaotic but its oil moves. The threat only works if China believes it’s credible and has no workarounds. Neither condition is met. So what we actually have is a negotiating posture that most Chinese analysts have already war-gamed and discounted. It’s not pressure. It’s PR noise. Same pattern as everything else: the announcement is the product.
The United States has been losing wars since Vietnam because we were simply no longer willing to do what’s necessary to win. You cannot negotiate surrender from radical Muslims in case of Iran or Hamas any more than you can from radical Democrats. Again, you cannot bargain with someone who believes compromise with you is immoral.
Mr. President — please finish the job! Stop negotiating.
Now we can’t really speak about Tucker Carlson without mentioning his product: conspiracies.
The conspiracy instinct is actually a degraded version of a legitimate cognitive function. Pattern recognition is valuable; noticing that things don’t add up, that official narratives have holes, that institutions lie. That’s healthy skepticism and it’s necessary. What breaks it is the failure to apply the same scrutiny to the alternative explanation. The official story gets examined ruthlessly. The conspiracy gets accepted on vibes. That’s not skepticism, that’s just preferring a different authority, usually one that flatters the believer’s sense of special knowledge. And that’s the psychological engine underneath it.
Conspiracies are socially rewarding to the believer. You’re not a confused person in a complicated world, you’re one of the few who sees through it. That’s an intoxicating identity. It converts helplessness into superiority. The more elaborate and unfalsifiable the conspiracy, the more exclusive the club.
Tucker monetizes that feeling expertly. Ron Paul built a political career on it. Neither of them actually believes everything they say, that’s almost beside the point. They’ve identified an audience that runs on that specific neurological reward and they feed it.
The other tell is that conspiracy thinking is always more interested in the villain than the mechanism. Who is doing it, never precisely how, never with rigorous accounting for what it would actually take to execute and maintain. The mechanism is where conspiracies collapse: coordination at that scale, with that many people, producing that little leakage, is almost never operationally plausible.
It’s theater for people who feel cheated by reality and need someone to blame.
I love this quote: “The magician doesn’t trick you. The magician helps you trick yourself.” That’s Tucker… in a nutshell.
“The United States has been losing wars since Vietnam because we were simply no longer willing to do what’s necessary to win. ”
We’re still not willing to do what it takes to win militarily. Nothing has changed. On the other hand the blockade of Iran’s ports will take a few months to strangle the IRGC economy but in the meantime the US Navy needs to open the Straits of Hormuz.
In the long term we need Saudi Arabia to build additional oil pipelines to bypass Iran and the Straits of Hormuz so no oil travels by ship through the Straits. 😎
Since WW eleven might be more accurate.
Oil will always travel by ship through the straight. Too much oil moving to too many nations to think the straight will ever be completely abandoned. However, going forward more oil will move by ship outside the straight, more oil will move by rail instead of the straight, more oil will move by pipe instead of the straight. There is also a possibility that an alternate path through the straight will be dredged through Oman like the Panama canal. Even with all these alternatives, oil will still move through the straight because there are many countries impacted and the volume of oil is quite large.
Amazing that people don’t understand Donald Trump was 33 years old when this conflict in Iran started, Trump and many others still remember what Iran was like before the Terrorist Regime took over, if people think that Trump doesn’t know who he’s dealing with, then I can’t help you.
Trump knows exactly what he’s dealing with, he knows their games, he personally watched them play them for the last 47 years!
Sneak Peek: Amit Segal (one of Israel’s top journalists) on the outcome of the Iran War and Israel’s next era
Too much talk and not enough action. Gives time for logistics moves. A halfway finished war is a win for iran radicals and a strange way to fight a war. As Trump has said himself before, either get off the you know what or you know what.
All these delays give the US side the time it needs to sniff-out Iran’s current leaders and missile sites. When it’s time, we’ll be ready to make a quick succession of precision strikes to dismantle their government altogether and make way for something more secular and rational.
Netanyahu was right about the IRGC, right about not wanting them to have a nuke, and will be proven right about regime change in Iran. The Arab states have secretly been approving of this proposed conflict for decades. The fact that the Carlson contingent can advise that this is a part of a ‘Greater Israel’ plan is laughable. And the fact that a ‘Russia Russia Russia’ psyop can be redirected to ‘Israel Israel Israel’ only shows how ignorant members of a population can be.
The fact that Iran had been a thorn in the Gulf Arabs and Israeli and American sides for decades, does not mean that this is NOT part of the Greater Israel plan. After all, what the Israeli’s have done in Palestine is unconscionable. It’s quite obvious that everything is no more Israel, Israel, Israel than it is British, British, British. There are many factions in conflict globally.
Very complicated geo-P…However, it is very clear; America First can not prevail in the current global trade relationship structure…it is going to take time. I just hope we can hold onto leadership long enough to see it through.
What an amazing interview!
Bombs away !
Tucker, Who?
President Trump should demand of Iran reparations for their and their proxies’ missile strikes against Israel and all of the gulf states. They should be required to pay for past and future missile defenses. This should come to something in excess of $1T.
Tehran should pay in oil until their debt is paid. Kharg island might make a nice down-payment.
Tehran should also pay for defense of free navigation through the straits of Hormuz.
Perhaps this war should have started after the midterms.
Seems to be a lot of political nonsense going on (as usual)
because of the “threat” of the repubs losing in the mid terms
however, the repubs are mostly acting stupid as usual.
So probably little in that regard has changed…..sigh!
the media is ratcheting up the anti war rhetoric
however, will the coverage of the rat virus equal or surpass it?
its a long way to the mid terms
perhaps both the Ukraine and Iran wars will be over by then
we can only hope
Although I am not privy to all information, I do not understand this long drawn out senseless “negotiation”. The murderous, insane Iranian leadership have no intention of honoring anything that does not give them everything they want. President Trump is well aware of this and that is what is confusing to me. Why draw this out? Go in there and bomb the railroads and bridges and if total, unconditional surrender is not immediately brought forth, then bomb their water desalination plants, and power plants, then go in with Special Forces troops and Israeli troops, and hunt down and kill every single one of the Iranian leadership, leave no one alive because like cockroaches, if you don`t kill them all then what is the point, they will be back. I know it is not that easy, but that would be the general jest of the operation moving forward, in my humble opinion. I also know it is far more complicated with multiple levels of interests, and goals to achieve, far beyond the current observable situation. Anyway, I just wish President Trump would get the show on the road and finish this.
I have learned that POTUS Trump has his reasons for doing things his way and I do not always understand them. However, I am not tired of winning and have no intention of voting for the communist democrat LGBTQ+ agenda ever no matter how many rainbow colors they use. I was against the Iran war from the beginning. I think a decisive win against this particular nation and people may not be entirely possible without great cost to the Gulf states and the rest of the world. I believe his current wait posture is to allow US military to work out logistics and provide him with more options once he decides to move forward.
“NUTS”
And yet, more of our men will die.
The Iranians might have gotten away with shooting at Israelis or Americans. But they are Fools to shoot at their neighbors and countrymen. Which is what they are doing! This will not end well …
In my opinion, President Trump has this uncanny patience to let those he’s negotiating with show their true colors. It may take a bit but they do little by little. Iran has shown lack of caring for its own people, other nations, environment, and the inability to govern themselves when they can’t even agree to agreements. Death to America is really death to any who oppose their wants.
trump is our leader and teacher trying to teach everyone that the mullahs want death to america via nukes
