Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine hold a news conference in the Pentagon Press Briefing Room during a renewed push for a second round of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
The briefing is scheduled for 8:00am ET with livestream links below:

here is the Dept. of War’s you tube link:
(the ads, once again, this time claiming to be Norton ones, are forcing me off of this website in the middle of trying to post and has nothing to do with my computer configuration)
the Brave browser blocks YouTube ads, fyi
it’s not an ad, it is attempting to take over the entire computer and block access to this website and only this website. The Malwarebytes program I use blocks the ads.
What browser? You might have loaded an extension. Try in private mode. I use adblocker plus and ghostery to knock out a bunch of stuff. Chome and Safar give me the most problems. Brave is my choice on the phone and firefox on the desktop. Chrome is horrible on my phone but I have a google phone, so I need it for somethings.
There are disgusting ads of worms coming out of feet when I use Chome on the phone.
Using Chrome, have had my computer consultant go through my whole system, the problem arises from this site only. I don’t add extensions, don’t use “apps, everything is hard wired, no bluetooth or wireless capability in the whole house.
Everything is desktop as I don’t use smart phones, reverted back to an old flip phone with no ability to scan anything including those QR codes or add any apps, simple phone calls and text as to access Dept of Interior’s BLM website it required a cell phone number to access our account and is the only time that phone is used.
Agree; Chrome is not the first choice but for the work we do, it is the right choice.
Bessie, same exact thing happening to me.
Exactly as you describe- this site only.
if you are using chrome, it might be leveraging your goggle profile. What happened when you use use Incognito mode? Ctrl-Shift-N
“…Norton!”
Firefox will prevent those trying to prevent you from achieving your task and actually be able to gain access.
It’s all ISPs disruption per their masters especially if you have a VPN
? I don’t have any issues with Firefox
I was just going to say that the problem might be from the ISP because some people have the problem and some don’t.
We have experienced this type of disruption on this site in the past, and over time they fade away.
Besides just waiting till they go away, what can we do to solve an ISP sourced harassment?
You can flush DNS too. Go to a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns
it’s your browser, I have brave there are NO pop up ads what-so-ever, just go to your search bar type in brave browser, down load and follow instructions….you will be glad you did.
Bessie is not talking about pop up Ads.
She describes about what she is talking about ABOVE.👆
I use Brave too; no issues.
Block Pop-ups in your browser settings. Go to your Windows Notifications and see if you have “allowed” sites to send notifications… you might find some odd websites listed… block those.
This is virus type activity even though your system doesn’t have a virus. It is coming from a website. It could be from an image someone has posted. In any event, check your Windows Notifications.
If you search for “Norton popups” you will find a variety of suggestions to take care of the problem. It is the same with the McAfee popups.
Once before someone suggested your ISP could be inserting adverts into rhe flow of data.
I suggest you compare which ISP’s you are using!
cheers
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Lord Jesus!
Wow! Pete Hegseth just used his opener to compare the fake news to the Pharisees.
Looking forward to the parade of fire ants out of the hill on that. Chuckle!
Pete Hegseth sounds awful. He needs to watch a few Rumsfeld videos. His message was not bad, but his delivery needs some help. Hegseth is effective in what our plan and vision is.
Caine knocks it out of the park.
Caine brings action and excitement to the conservation.
Caine: THE BLOCKADE IS WORKING! Warning shots! Love it.
I could listen to Caine all day.
I doubt it matters to the men and women he leads. He is one of them. A true patriotic warrior who serves his Master and has been where they are. He speaks like a soldier and like most of us in the American heartlands.
He’s running a tight operation better than his Department of War predecessors.
Whatever doubts I had about his fitness for the onerous duties he executes every day have flown out the window, as with the ones I had with Secretary Rubio.
Yes, agreed, Betsy.
👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Talk is cheap. His actions are loud as thunder.
If it’s a choice between Image or Substance, I’ll take the latter every time 😎
It’s very rare to find both.
Dang, I wish I was 18 and could join the Navy! Great spin. Go Navy!

Hegseth from all appearances is putting in the work to reform the military and is paying the price. Hegseth is aging before our eyes as most normal people do under such a workload and stress. President Trump seems to be the exception and is bearing up under the load unbelievably well. Thank you to both men for all you do.

The bombing begins in five minutes!
🤣 Great laugh over my ☕️ covfefe, thanks!
“Five, four, three, two, one, the bombs are now dropping on the Soviet Union!” – President Ronald Reagan
After President Reagan’s monumental Cold War victory, Nazi Collaborator Soros wrote a book on how to re-purpose NATO to subvert patriotic nations WITHIN Europe for the World Mafia.
The Clintons greedily agreed, and invaded Serbia for Islam, Child Trafficking and GloboHomo.
Next was the CIA’s Color Revolution in Ukraine, which was them practicing for Jan. 6th.
The CIA is now allied with Nazis in Ukraine and Globo-Communists in Europe. The recent Installation of their Hungarian Puppet is just more repudiation of President Reagan’s Triumph.
His purpose was Victory in War. Their purpose is Endless War. A Cold Warrior who was graceful enough to take ‘yes’ for an answer.
Psalm 34:14
Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
Yes, Lord!
OMG, the Dems have a new idiot. Jill Tokuda (HI). She is like Mazie’s little sister. No wonder why Congress is a mess. Washington Journal, what a mistake to follow up the press conference.
How stupid can these people be? Can’t listen anymore.
“How stupid can these people be?”
As a septuagenarian, I will attest that, from my experiences on this planet, Stupidity is Infinite! 🙂
And as one comedian has said many times, “You can’t fix stupid.”
Attributed to John Wayne: “Life is tough; it’s even tougher when you’re stupid.”
Never, EVER, say that some one or some organization can’t get any more stupid because the fates will ALWAYS produce someone more stupid than before.
If you ever get the opportunity to live there you’ll see just what stupid is firsthand.
I must say: living in D.C. would be more of a punishment than an opportunity!
On the other hand, it would be an opportunity to experience Stupid, Stupider, Stupidest first-hand! 🙂
🤔 Must be something in the coconuts?
It is like a train wreck. I can’t look away….. Jill Tokuda says Hegseth should be impeached. He is running a fraternity.
Looks like Cory Booker and Chucky have their talking points. Buckle up. Lottas noise coming.
She has a face that says: “Hi! I only possess an I.Q. around 80, which qualifies me for government aid. And so they put me in Congress.”
I can’t stop watch. Help me. Now she is complaining the Hegseth will shot people in the leg.
Had to look that one up.
Rep. Tokuda Demands Answers from Secretary Hegseth on Shooting Protesters

shoot not shot….not enough coffee this morning.
I note she’s on the House Agriculture Subcommittee. That’s fitting. She’s dumber than dirt. And BSC (Bat S**t Crazy).
Interesting in that that’s the district Tulsi Gabbard represented. Rs are running Hawaiian Brenton Awa against her this year.
if the dems get the midterms, I see them sending hegseth, caine, tulsi and others to Iran to be tried on their soil for war crimes
Why in heII, Heaven, or on God’s Green Earth would you determine to put that picture into anybody else’s mind?
Back away from the black pill bar… that’s where your toxic visions are coming from.
“in the Pentagon Press Briefing Room during a renewed push for a second round of negotiations between the United States and Iran.”
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”
Sometimes attributed to Albert Einstein.
Great briefing!
Are there any parents out here with active military who have experienced service under both Biden’s military leaders and now Hegseth and Caine?
Have they mentioned any difference in confidence and encouragement between leadership? I would imagine there’s a whole heck of a lot.
Yes; I still have friends in. And my son just completed Navy OCS.
It’s night and day; the military is becoming the military again.
And crap bag sailors are being booted.
Thank you for your service, sir. And likewise to your sons and your friends. 🇺🇸
“Build your opponent a “golden bridge” to retreat across.”
~ Sun Tzu
Sundance ought to write an entire introspective article about that . . .
Secretary Hegseth said during the press briefing (4:00), “you, Iran, can choose a prosperous future, a golden bridge”
If he could find the time, Mike, that would be (no doubt) a gem!!
The Democrats under the Obama administration sent the IRGC 1.7 billion USD with $400 million dollars of that air lifted to them in currency (over a pre-1979 flimsy pretense arms deal claim made to the Shaw of Iran before his overthrow).
Worse, this $1.7 billion transaction from the U.S. to the IRGC was distinct from the larger sanctions relief under the JCPOA, which unfroze Iranian assets held abroad (estimated by the U.S. Treasury at around another $50–100 billion in usable liquid assets above and beyond the $1.7 billion).
Of course, that was in addition to bringing in Muslims into NASA facilities for collaboration (after Obama’s 2009 speech in Cairo). Did they study rocket building?
I can only imagine if Democrat leadership in Congress hasn’t a white flag prepared already and are ready to surrender to Iran and begin sending billions more of U.S. taxpayer money over to the IRGC in a manner reminiscent of when some European countries paid tribute, jizya, and even handed over their own sons as slaves to Muslim authorities in times past before Europeans like Charles “The Hammer” Martel began the centuries-long movement (e.g. Reconquesta, Crusades, European state resistance, Balkan uprisings, etc.) to drive the Muslims out of Europe (with the last of them finally deported off the docks of Spain).
But how could those brave European men have foreseen that later atheists and deists would invent the atheized political left (with all of its nasty 20th century strains resulting in the Soviet Union, Communist China, North Korea, Khmer Rouge, that destructive socialism in Germany, etc. that morphed into the mutated radical leftist immoral strain of the 21st century) would grow to such an extent they would invite their historical persecutors into the hearts of their own countries to pitch their tents after watching the overthrow of the Shah of Iran replaced by a radical Twelver Shia Islamic theocracy intent on wielding nuclear bombs and missiles to subjugate the world to Islam.
Yet by some amazing good fortune, the U.S. finds itself in a position with the right leadership to remove the Iranian nuclear threat. And the radical leftists in the U.S. and Europe are sad about that.
Hence the word leftardism, a degeneration of the logical processes in the mind caused by indoctrination with leftardology.
They wanted one billion, but Obama held out for $1.7b
Any reference to the huge sums of money, in cash, that the Kenyan’s regime secretly flew under cover of night and dropped off at the airport for their terrorist financing is a brutal reminder to me that Obama gave them these monies without even bothering to ask for the return of Robert Levinson, an Iranian hostage since 2007 and known to be still alive at the time of this illegal transfer.
For the monies involved they would have coughed him up in white glove fashion.
The man was a creepy treasonous anti -American traitor on every level.
Pete Hegseth just delivered one of the greatest sermons I have heard. Powerful witness to the presence of God and a scathing rebuke to the wicked liars of the modern day American press.
BRAVO AND CARRY ON!!!!!
I thought it was a great sermon too.
One thing that I can certainly say about “Secretary Hegseth” is that: “He is a mighty breath of fresh air.” Right now, we have a Secretary in charge of the military who is military.
As for those who are now “calling for his impeachment,” I would simply invite them to “get up at 5:30 AM and run three miles [before breakfast] of ‘PT’ with the troops.” Secretary Hegseth has done that, more than once. So , at about “mile 2.75,” while the camera crew goes alongside in a motorcycle because they can’t keep up … “now, what you saying?” 🤡
One very key thing that “Trump, Commander-in-Chief, Negotiator,” is doing is to – as a Sun Tzu quoter just said – “pause to give the opponent (legitimate or not …) a way out.
Without relieving the pressure on them in the slightest, this negotiator frames that pressure as (potentially …) “something other than bombs.”
“Tick tick tick tick tick …”
Bombs destroy enemies along with the innocent. Iran has no problem seeing any of them die. Its taking their valuables, homes, families, that will truly hurt. Like the time President Trump sent a picture to a leader in Afgan and said we know where you live and your family.

“… This week, a regular reader challenged me on X. He assembled a long list of independent geopolitical commenters (like the ones above), and asked —not unjustly— whether a mere lawyer’s opinion could cancel out the pessimistic predictions of a score of professional war bloggers. I conceded my lack of credentials, but pointed out that the disagreement begins before the geopolitics start.
All these smart guys were wrong because they started with the same flawed premise: there is no plan. And they all made the same mistake of trying to interpret Trump’s tweets literally.
…
Will they ever learn to be patient and just let the man work? Probably not. First, TDS kills. It kills brain cells, at least. Second, nobody gets clicks by making boring YouTube videos headlined “Let the Man Work.” You need engaging titles like, “The US Is Falling Off a Cliff!”, or “Trump’s Iran Obsession Will Cause World War III!”, or “Five Surprising Reasons Your Bedroom Performance Suffers Because of Oil Embargoes!”
Oh, well. It might not be super engaging or exciting, but let the man work. Or if that’s too much for you, focus on the results rather than the process. The results are looking pretty good so far.
