Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst shares details from a conversation he had with President Donald Trump surrounding negotiations to end armed conflict.
According to Yingst, President Trump is optimistic for a diplomatic settlement and a negotiated deal as early as tomorrow. However, if the deal is not made, the infrastructure within Iran will be systematically destroyed – as noted in a recent Truth Social Post:

Not sure they are taking his threats seriously. May have to do with the timeline revisions he keeps making.

How many has he given? He’s starting to sound like Charlie Brown’s teacher with his war rhetoric. Be a quiet professional. Just do it already.
He likes to keep ‘em guessing. And when they least expect it, he bombs them to hell. The art of the deal.
The President is dealing with Iran the way Iranians do deals. Their deals go like this: We’ll do thus and so but they don’t say when and where. The President is doing it back to them. “We will hit you Tuesday” but not what Tuesday or maybe on Monday or Friday. That’s their method of doing deals. Maybe here. Maybe there. Maybe we forget.
Good.
FWIW, both Russia and China will now make every effort to turn Iran 2026 into Afghanistan 1980.
By that I mean, taking the air superiority factor, out of the equation. Once, the mujahadin obtained shoulder launched weaponry (MANPADs) from US CIA.
Killing people, destroying villages randomly and at will, became impossible !
This step moved forced the Russians to increase their infantry efforts to find these weapons.
This step lead to IEDs, VBIEDs and ground combat in remote areas, ideal terrain for the Mujahadin.
Iran, is never going to accept defeat by a western power nor from a Sunni power.
We can, as General Lemay once said upon a different war, “Bomb them back to the Stone Age”. Certainly!
However Iran will endure the pounding, sacrifice millions of their citizens and acres of their cities.
They know, PDJT is running out of time, all Iran has to do is, WAIT and WAIT and WAIT.
The Iranian Mafia doesn’t have to accept defeat, all that needs to happen is destroy the heavy Military Resources of the Iranian Mafia and their ablity to pay their Capos.
The rest is up to the Iranian People.
We Must Be Afraid!
Next week y’all will be back to
We Must Be Outraged!
Having spent 4 years in both OIF and OEF, I’m not suggesting anyone be fearful.
What I am saying is Americans must be aware. Aware that in WAR no technological miracle is ever going to replace, Ground Combat.
Which translated from English to Farsi means, 1.) Forget about ending this war in two or three months, it will not happen. 2.) Forget about the Iranian people taking back their own country. They lack both the numbers and the equipment. Sending weapons into a ME, combat zone, becomes a Black Market Yard Sale.
Finally, the amount of violence, that is required to Dethrone this state of islamic terrorism, will never be tolerated before the midterm elections and what’s more, Iran,. China, Russia and NoKo all know it. . .
Bull.
You are being defeatist without any facts to back up your assertions.
Nice try. Notice how the B-52’s we sent over have not even been involved yet? 2-3 days, “war” over. The amount of violence will be off the chart and America will cheer. Remember Dresden? How did that work out for them? There will be no “enduring the pounding.” Iran can wait all they want, they will all be dead. Chyna & Putin will do nothing. The left will loudly wail the lamentations of their women, but we no longer care what the left wants, we are silencing them now and they will soon be out of power here in the US as well.
Destroy the choke points of their oil and electrical infrastructure. Pound every IRGC target into dust, kill 50,000 IRGC troops, and just maybe nuke Qom. Make Iran look like 1945 Germany.
I listened to the address President Trump made last week. My take on this is this:
President Trump is not speaking to Iran. He is speaking directly to China on this.
In last week’s address, President Trump made it very clear that Iran’s oil refineries – the production of which has a very significant distribution to China – is absolutely LAST on the list of infrastructure to be destroyed….a petroleum production China is very much aware of as being at risk.
It is my humble observation that China is being leveraged to stop supporting the Iranian Islamic regime, and back a more moderate political re-structuring in the promise of retaining its oil supply.
So – my thought is…will China play ball, or remain the duplicitous antagonist they are known to be?
Perhaps this is a bit hopeful, or naive, but it remains a possibility nonetheless.
Edit – The observation made that the militant Shia mullahs will NEVER accept defeat at the hands of the West or the Sunni majority of Islam, is a very correct point. At some point, President Trump is going to need to bring the Saudis in as the lead militarily, and affirm to the world this is an Intra-Muslim issue (Sunni vs Shia).
The Sunni/Shia divide is deeper, wider, and far more antagonistic than any schism that could be found in Christianity – even the Trinity/Arian divide of over 1000 years ago. While the War in Iran is over nukes, it is what those nukes would be used for that goes unconsidered by many: First, eliminate Israel; Second, force the Saudis to abdicate governorship of Mecca and the Holy Cities; Third, wage war against the west with Islam under Shia control.
President Trump knows what the score with Iran is. He knows that China is playing a very dangerous game of enabling a nuclear Iran and holding on to the tail of that tiger. He’s hoping that China would see a better interest in setting the mullahs aside. Time will tell, though.
There is some truth and exaggeration in your response.
The Art of War has many good suggestions in it & I am thinking that not only Prez. DJT has read them, but so have many who are working the “propaganda”, as well as a lot of those in charge of this military operation.
The confusing to some, and seemingly “wishy washy” changing of the mind in his social media , just to keep them Iranian mohamedans guessing about what is/might be next, is not surprising to me. Mess with their heads. It is a good thing…
Another thought I have is that the Iranians have thrown missiles at almost every neighbor they have in that region & not making any friends in doing so. I am thinking there is more support for ending their control from the neighbors than support from those neighbors who were attacked by the Iranians for the current Iranian regime.
You can’t spit on your neighbors, and then expect them to be helpful to your plight(s).
There is a bigger picture here than I think many realize about this operation.
Some might want to hold back on their disappointment in what they opine is wrong about the whole thing.
The price of a gallon of milk and the price of a gallon of gasoline is about the same, and, IIRC, has been for some time.
I am of the mind that I & mine will accept some economic hardship to take down that evil regime.
I am a “no longer on active duty US Marine, and I was in the Corps when those b-tards killed off more than a few of my fellow Marines & other military personnel at the barracks in Lebanon in 1983. I knew some of those guys. Drink a shot to their memory every Nov 10th, ( <USMC Birthday) as it is fitting that they be remembered.
So, as far as I am concerned, Kill them all & let them get sorted out by the one they pray to each day.
( ^ I have some more harsh things I could say , but will refrain so I don’t hurt those who do not understand what I would say.)
IMO, Mad dogs just need killin, to save the rest of folks from getting hurt or dead. Just has to be done.
I think that the Iranian regime needs the “mad dog” treatment. Over due, IMO.
But now is the time it seems.

My son went to Paris Island and later, winter training in Japan, with a few of the Marines that Obama abandoned on that hill in A-Stan, the situation that made the front page of Marine Times…
Islamic martyrdom and the 72 virgins…made possible by what I call the ‘Devil Dog Dating Service’. From what I remember, the second Intifada towards Israel, was pretty brutal…and situations where parents were strapping suicide vests onto their children…20 years later, I still don’t understand….
Whatever the shots are…am hoping it is some good quality!
I get it…unfortunately, civilians today, have a hard time comprehending the things you speak of..(here, in the Treehouse, not so much). Plus, 2-3 generations of pacifist liberal indoctrination has not helped but rather created a misunderstanding of what the fight against radical Islam/islam is all about.
Thank you for your, and friends, service…
The last pic is funny. If you do it, it’s good, if Bannon does it it’s not?
Asking for a contrarian friend
Things will change bigly when the lights, air conditioning, refrigerators, and gas station fuel pumps stop working.
Water treatment plants, too.
The risk with water treatment / desalination plants is that it might encourage Iran to target Saudi / UAE et al., treatment /desalination plants in retaliation. Up to now, those plants have been pretty much spared. If all of a sudden there is no fresh water in Riyadh or Dubai, they are literally in deep do-do … they don’t have fresh water reserves or back up desalination plants. Everything will SOON come to a grinding halt. Taking out Iran’s plants will be painful for them … taking out the plants providing water to the Saudis or Emiratis will be fatal to them.
The US does not need to hit the water treatment plants to shut them down. Those plants need electricity, so hitting power plants would stop their operations unless they have emergency generators.
You don’t even need to hit the plants just take out miles of high voltage transmission line towers.
Food that requires refrigeration will go bad – both residential refrigerators and larger systems managing food in bulk. This will impact nearly everyone. This could create another large scale refugee problem.
EMP works very well in this scenario.
I hope you are proven correct.
I’m not so sure.
My reason for saying that has to do with the people themselves and the “leaders”.
It’s safe to say that those in power who get the benefits of being in power are more likely to keep hanging on.
But what % of the regular Iranian people share the same view of the world as their “leaders”? Is it 25, 50, or 75%? I have no idea.
How many in the Iranian military absolutely support the leaders of the last 40 years? How many are just in the military because they are better off that their fellow Iranians.
My point is, there is a good deal we don’t know.
I have a concern about the plans President Trump announced. I know that dealing with these people is difficult and frustrating. However, I recall that our border was wide open for many years during which time prayer rugs were found at the border indicating that not all the illegals sneaking in were from Central or South America. I have not heard of any of them having been deported by ICE and with the mysterious drone appearance that took place at one of our military bases recently, wouldn’t it be a real concern about the retaliation Iran is threatening to be an attack on our electrical grid if we destroy theirs ? The fact that Russia and China have been reported to be assisting them increases the chance of something coming our way sooner than later.
A shameful lewd mouth by trup on easter. I am ashamed of his usage of words.
I’m ashamed thar you are ashamed…
you admire profanity?
I’ll take Lewd if it make the Iranian Mafiosa end hostilities.
There are far worst things than dropping an F-bomb
I don’t particularly care for his language sometimes but I prefer that he drop some more bunker buster bombs on those raghead heathen bastards.
I am ashamed you failed Grammar 101.
Who here gives a troll so many up-votes for this kind of statement?
They bring their own upvoting bots. Slick Handlers too. The UniParty at work on the ‘webs.
As I mentioned yesterday, Macron has the same sentiment as you. However you know what they say in France – Allahu Akbar
Vulgar and vile on Resurrection Sunday. He must repent.
Get over yourself.
I think the post was sarcasm……..
Another troll? Or the same under a different sock-puppet name?
Raze everything and seize oil, aren’t they war crimes?

Was the 47th elected for this or for America First and MAGA?
It seems very far from the change of regime as initially announced to help Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Iranians have published the major target in response, if the President executes his threat:
https://x.com/PressTV/status/2039931895975219599? ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^2039931895975219599|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https://www.indiatoday.in/world/story/iran-warns-gulf-stargate-data-infrastructure-uae-nvidia-openai-us-attack-tehran-tech-company-2891231-2026-04-03
What President Trump is doing is America First. Protecting America first.
The 47th, in your opinion, would defend the interests of the American people? I see that he manages the United States like a company, favoring some privileged sectors, far from popular interests.
«Look, you realize that all the ‘American’ policy is just marketing.»
It’s quite precise, I would say.
Once you realize that the two most profitable companies in the US are war and disease, it’s easy to understand what is happening.
Step back and agree to look at broader visions: https://indi.ca/seeing-like-a-corporate/
Since war is specifically the actions associated with reducing your opponent’s ability to achieve victory by destroying infrastructure and opposing combatants…where exactly are the war crimes again? Or are you all for doing to Russia in Ukraine what is being done in Iran, all the while NOT calling the same things war crimes in that scenario?
Sounds more like an Anti-Semitic rant because Da Joooooooos instead of Da NATO are the major military help here.
The iranian mullahs are the irgc… the irgc are the iranian mullahs
Approximately 95% of the iranian economy is controlled by the irgc.
Who is advising him writing a truth like that, “Praise be to Allah”.!!!
Thou shall not put any Gods before me.
Daniel 2:21 He controls the course of the world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings.
Had Barrack written that truth we would have known exactly what he meant.
I can’t figure out why President Trump would put that in writing. I won’t speculate but Christians nor Jews would put that in writing.
Sarcastic mockery or trolling of Iran: Many view it as deliberate ironic sarcasm aimed at the Iranian regime. Trump is threatening massive destruction (“Power Plant Day,” “living in Hell”) against an Islamist government while signing off with their own religious phrasing. It’s seen as a maximalist, “maximum pressure” style jab — essentially saying “you’re going to need divine intervention” or twisting their rhetoric back on them in a contemptuous way. This fits Trump’s long history of blunt, hyperbolic, and sometimes vulgar taunts toward adversaries (e.g., nicknames, all-caps emphasis, exclamations).
Sorry brother. There is no higher God. He makes the rules. He said put no other Gods before me……and he didn’t add the disclaimer unless it’s sarcastic mockery.
I’ll air on the side of not angering God and choose my words carefully.
I love Trump for all the reasons you listed in your last sentence.
Just saying his advisors should have said, “pick a different phrase
Well AQuaman: We’ve left it up to God for 47 yr’s and now it’s time to ?????????????
God Bless
It was mockery…. ‘you’ll be living in Hell…and you can thank your false god allah for that!’ What better way to honor our Lord than to call out evil “commands” of false “god”?
‘ I won’t speculate but Christians nor Jews would put that in writing.’
Is this not speculation? Also, seems to imply Christians and Jews, while they might agree with sentiment, would not be forthright enough to put it in writing.
As a Christian, I admire President Trumps brutal honesty.
TRUE – ‘we would have known what Barrack meant’ had he written the same….but only because his deeds and actions give him away.
His advisers should have said, “pick different words to mock them”.
Many people are just too casual surrounding insults to God. Particularly in using his name in vain.
“I won’t speculate but Christians nor Jews would put that in writing.”
Go and read a trans-literal reading of the Hebrew used to detail the account of Elijah’s challenge to Ahab and Jezebel atop Mt. Carmel. Elijah was quite brutal in his mockery of the Baal and Ashteroth priesthoods as they tried unsuccessfully to offer a burnt offering without fire from heaven. Elijah was translated directly to God’s presence a short time after that.
God’s own words through His mute prophet Ezekiel (in Ezekiel 23) concerning Judah’s covenant position before God is also rendered in quite…vulgar…terms (particularly verse 20), when the Hebrew euphemisms for “harlotry”, “flesh” and “issue” are used.
God is not above using mockery and brutally harsh language if that is what is needed to get the point across.
God can do whatever he wishes. He is God. His ways are not our ways.

John Anderson show “An Unholy Alliance “ worth a listen
“War is hell.” – William Tecumseh Sherman
Thank you, Sundance.
Yingst is a breath of fresh air. Just the facts, ma’am, just the facts.
From the Historian’s Den facebook page:
“War is hell” is a quote attributed to William Tecumseh Sherman.
The quote is attributed to William Tecumseh Sherman and comes from a speech he delivered in 1880 to graduating cadets at the Michigan Military Academy. By then, Sherman had witnessed some of the fiercest fighting of the American Civil War, including the bloody Battle of Shiloh and the grueling Atlanta Campaign.
When he declared that “war is hell,” he was pushing back against the tendency, especially among civilians and politicians,
to romanticize combat as glorious and ennobling. Sherman wanted young soldiers to understand that war meant chaos, suffering, and irreversible destruction, not heroic pageantry.
Ironically, Sherman himself became famous for conducting one of the war’s harshest campaigns: the March to the Sea in 1864. After capturing Atlanta, he led Union forces across Georgia toward Savannah, targeting railroads, factories, and supply lines to break the Confederacy’s capacity and will to fight.
His strategy of “hard war” deeply scarred the Southern landscape and civilian morale, contributing to both the Union victory and his controversial legacy. The blunt realism of “war is hell” reflected not pacifism, but his conviction that if war must be fought, it should be waged decisively and swiftly to end it as soon as possible.
It is not a sign of strength, but a sign of impotence insofar as such attacks hardly will help to achieve any strategic objectives. If this premise is correct, the attacks will rather be carried out for the sake of it, to punish the Iranian government by inflicting hardships on the civilian population. This is the loser’s war effort, not the winner’s. In addition, there is the question whether such attacks will constitute war crimes.
