I feel for the Iranian people, if 47 has to follow through in the next 48 hours. Trump has to do what needs to be done, but there will be human suffering and I pray for them to have the strength to weather that storm.
In looking at the situation and the country, I think what Trump is doing is telling the regime, “Make a deal, or lose your country forever.”
I don’t think people have thought much beyond the blow up the infrastructure talk. If the infrastructure gets blown, Iran becomes a pie to carve up. Without the advantage of military air, navy and transport, various regions will have to rely on bordering and outside countries to deliver key imports, goods and aid. Each region will become obligated to the nation helping that region. IRGC cannot fight an internal war on many fronts, impossible without power, bridges and military transport power.
