I was surprised when I heard about the military operation in Iran. Trump has been consistent about his stance on Middle East wars and his position on Iran obtaining nuclear weapons. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. He knows a lot more than we ever will. Iran was reported to be behind the assassination attempt(s). They are also aligned with China and Russia- two adversaries of the USA. They also figure greatly as one of the primary oil suppliers around the world – friend or foe. It is also becoming quite clear that our NATO and EU allies are not supporting us. The lines of division and for what purpose are becoming clearer and clearer.

I feel that it’s very hard to know what goes on behind the scenes of this war. I have great respect and love for the everyday citizens of America, Israel, and also Iran. This isn’t a conflict between these good people this is a conflict between governments and while it may seem obvious, I think it’s still an important distinction to make. I trust Trump’s judgement to make the best decision he had available. I hope and have faith that the political outcomes he generates will continue to merit the support of people who finally have hope in an establishment that’s not entirely against them/enslaving them/making them sick on principle. I hope that all countries involved and all leaders will seek to find peace within themselves and around them. I support Israel’s right to exist. I also think that criticizing a religion and a government are two very different things and any attempt to conflate the two is rooted in propagandist narratives (whether consciously or unconsciously). There are many false claims in this letter but let me address one specifically: that “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation.”
This is the same false claim that Democrats and some in the liberal media have been repeating over and over.
As President Trump has clearly and explicitly stated, he had strong and compelling evidence that Iran was going to attack the United States first.
This evidence was compiled from many sources and factors. President Trump would never make the decision to deploy military assets against a foreign adversary in a vacuum.
Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.
The Iranian regime is evil. It proudly killed Americans, waged war against our country, and openly threatened us all the way up to the launch of Operation Epic Fury.
Iran was aggressively expanding their short-range ballistic missiles to combine with their naval assets to give themselves immunity – meaning they would have a degree of a capabilities that would give them immunity to hold us and the rest of the world hostage.
The regime aimed to use those ballistic missiles as a shield to continue achieving their ultimate goal – nuclear weapons.
The President, through his top negotiators, gave the regime every single possible opportunity to abandon this unacceptable course by permanently giving up their nuclear ambitions in exchange for sanctions relief, free nuclear fuel, and potential economic partnerships with our country.
But they would not say yes to peace because obtaining nuclear weapons was their fundamental goal.

As someone who actually witnesses President Trump’s decision-making process on a daily basis, I can attest to the fact that he is always looking to do what’s in the best interest of the United States of America — period.

He should have stuck with “America First.” Not Iran or Israel first. If the Bushies/GOP Establishment/ Uniparty wanted a “nation building” war in Iran, then we’d be seeing a) the bipartisan support that the Ukraine war received….b) the bipartisan support that the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq received in the very beginning….and c) the full-throated unwavering and enduring support from the entire GOP that the Iraq war received after it (intentionally) became a divisive left vs right issue.
Instead we see a few Republicans going through the motions of vocally supporting Trump, and the rest of them too scared to oppose him, at this early juncture….after years of talking tough on Iran, but never actually wanting to do anything about it because it’s not on the Uniparty agenda.
I didn’t become sold on Trump because I was fixated on “no new wars”. I was sold on him because he does things that no other President does. And you can tell by the reactions of all the politicians all around him that this is the case. Because we never ever see the usual staged partisan bickering over any of his moves.
Instead we either see both parties opposing him, or the GOP tepidly going along with something that they’ve talked tough on for years, but never wanted to do anything about…..like overturning Roe v Wade.
Where were all the pro-life Senators and Congressmen…. who fundraised on abortion for years…lining up to enthusiastically toast Trump for accomplishing every pro-lifer’s dream? Nowhere to be found. They wanted abortion to be something they could fundraise on forever.
It’s a shame that so many people who voted for Trump seem to miss the main point of what makes him so special.

This site offers a lot of opinion on the role of God in our politics. Doesn’t anyone here ever consider that God is using Trump and Israel as judgement against IRAN? God sets up nations and God brings them down. I think this war is judgement on Iran for all the terror they have caused across all nations for decades. God does use other nations as a rod of judgement and if America isn’t reflective of our own sin (like 70,000,000 preborn children executed for the crime of being conceived inconveniently) will certainly face a form of judgement also, and Islam could very well be the rod of judgement God uses. Where will Kent be then?
