The Ukraine military, technically and non-pretendingly accepted as the EU military, has targeted a key oil pumping station in Russia that feeds into the westerly directed oil supply. However, if you stand back from the western media, what you will notice from this attack is not the target in Russia, but the customers at the end of the pipeline in Europe, mainly Hungary and Slovakia.

So, what’s going on here?
Well, with the anniversary of the Russian Federation beginning the war into Ukraine, the Europeans who now control the military operations inside Ukraine are targeting European countries who do not align with their bloodlust, specifically Hungary and Slovakia.
Both Hungary and Slovakia are land locked countries without easy access seaports. Because of their geographic locations, they rely on Russian oil and gas for their energy needs. Hungary and Slovakia have not wanted to expand the war against Russia. The EU is demanding Hungary and Slovakia agree to expanded war.
The European ‘coalition of the willing’ is now targeting key Russian infrastructure that supplies energy products to European countries who are not in compliance with the EU dictates of war.
Putin says threats to energy pipelines sabotage peace process with Ukraine.
In his televised speech, the Russian president also accused Ukraine of threatening Russian energy pipelines with the help of Western intelligence agencies. He claimed these attacks were aimed to sabotage the peace process.

There are well over 20,000 NATO (Volunteer) Troops on the front line in the Ukraine, not counting the C4I, High End Fire Control, Troops manning fire support assets and Logistics assets also deployed in the Ukraine and who are actually running the war for NATO.
While 20,000+ does not seem to be a big number, if one breaks that 20,000+ down into smaller cadres inside Ukrainian Units and small elite “Fire Brigade” Task Forces …. it is not difficult to see how the Ukraine has been holding out for so long. This is not WWII, with massive numbers of Armies, Corps and Divisions being the major combat assets but 2022-2026 with a few Brigades, Battalions and Smaller Forces being the prime combat assets.
Since 2022, there have been “unofficial reports” of casualties being treated at the Landstuhl Military Hospital in Germany.
German, UK, France and Poland have been feeding troops into the war since the start and since the beginning of the catastrophic 2025 Ukrainian Counter Offensive have become the major combat force actually holding together the Ukrainian defenses.
Note if one applies the typical 3-4 to 1 (in Country Tail to Tooth) ratio for Armed Conflicts, there are actually 60,000 to 80, 000+ NATO Troops, deployed from the Ukraine back into Germany supporting the Ukraine.
Ponder on that and force multiplier impact while thinking about the correlation of forces between Russia and the Ukraine.
I do not believe there are NATO troops on the “actual” front lines because by now Russia would have captured some of them and used them not only to embarrass the EU but to expose the dishonesty of Zelensky in the negotiations.

Well, it is like a small model of WWII, when one takes into account the causalities per day on a relatively small front.
The point was that the scale of forces involved is just a fraction of those engaged in WWII and that a 20,000+ Injection of well trained troops into a conflict on this smaller scale would make a massive difference in terms of capabilities and outcomes v/v the Ukraine.
This is NATO’s war to continue or stop no matter how one looks at it.
I pray that God would change the hearts of the EU leaders and put a stop to their madness before Putin decides to defend Russia by carpet bombing Brussels. He has every right to defend Russia.

Given the surrounding circumstances of Hungary blocking financial aid to Ukraine it could be argued that the attack was in retaliation by Ukraine to harm Hungary and Slovakia as much as Russian infrastructure.

It would seem that Russia has now been given an unwitting blessing by EU-nations to counter-attack the energy supplies to France, Germany, England, and the others behind this attack.

Putin is smarter than that. He’s more aware of the forces involved here than most US “experts” as the host here has pointed out more than once. Putin could have turned Ukraine into an ashtray a very long time ago, but he knows what would happen to Russia as a result. Back in February, 2022, Putin was sold a bill of goods by his own sycophants in the Russian leadership and military that Ukraine could be quickly taken down by a Special Military Operation.
When the initial operation proved to be disastrous, the only option Putin and his leadership cabal had to remain in power in Russia was to face military realities and to pursue a war of attrition in Ukraine while they rebuilt Russia’s military power.
The Russians will not give up in Ukraine and will eventually be successful in forcing the EU to accept a peace deal on Russia’s terms. It may take another four to six years of attrition warfare to force the EU’s capitulation on Ukraine, but the Russians are willing and able to see it though.
Once the Russians are done with the Ukraine business, I think it likely they will use the threat of their reconstituted military power to convince the most important of the former Soviet republics to come back into the Russian Empire fold as additions to the Russian Federation. Belarus and Kazakhstan, probably.

I am very surprised at how tolerant Russia and Putin have been with these very deep attacks inside Russia. Just taking a SWAG using google maps its approximately 1800 km by air from the Ukrainian capitol.
Assumptions would be that these are cruise type missile attacks (FP 5 Flamingo) which evade normal air defense measures.
