Giddy up. Yesterday, President Trump and Marco Rubio announced the U.S. withdrawal from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). {GO DEEP} Today, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent makes the official notification to the UN.
The notification is important because the 1992 UNFCCC was ratified by the U.S. Senate 34 years ago, making it one of the first UniParty climate change pacts supported by the ¹DC business model.
According to the terms of the treaty, withdrawal from the UNFCCC requires an official notification to the United Nations, and the dissolution takes effect one year later.
TREASURY PRESS RELEASE – WASHINGTON – In alignment with the Trump Administration’s decision to withdraw from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the U.S. Department of the Treasury has notified the Green Climate Fund (GCF) that the United States is withdrawing from the Fund and stepping down from its seat on the GCF Board, effective immediately.
“Our nation will no longer fund radical organizations like the GCF whose goals run contrary to the fact that affordable, reliable energy is fundamental to economic growth and poverty reduction,” said U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent.
The Trump Administration is committed to advancing all affordable and reliable sources of energy, which are fundamental to economic growth and poverty reduction. The GCF was established to supplement the objectives of the UNFCCC, and continued participation in the GCF has been determined to no longer be consistent with the Trump Administration’s priorities and goals. For those who have a tough time accepting wins, no, the next President cannot just rejoin the agreement; nor can the Senate block Trump’s withdrawal from it. The entire process would have to be restarted, and it’s a heavy lift to sell the American public on paying higher prices just to make pontificating global elites feel better about themselves.
In addition, all the AI investments and infrastructure stuff needs quickly expanding massive amounts of energy. So, no, it’s not going to be reversed.
Now take some quiet time tomorrow over coffee and think about how many mechanisms of the U.S. govt are connected to this now removed climate change agenda.

We are clearly feeling it in this part of NY, 50 miles north of NYC. We are having one of the worst winters we’ve had in a long time with an unusually cool October, and especially cold in November and December. I absolutely blame the chem trails or whatever other crap they’re shooting into the sky to try and block out the Sun.
I am over 200 miles north of NYC, I haven’t noticed anything different this winter, we haven’t even had a blizzard or even a snowstorm over 6 inches yet. We usually get at least one 3-foot-deep snowstorm each winter.
Haven’t seen 20 to 30 below zero this winter either.
I lived in Mayfield (Fulton Co) from 86-96. I am back in Buffalo now. Our snowfall this year has been “average” (~36″) in manageable increments. We are into a mild January thaw now (not unusual)
Hi neighbor! Yes we are in a warmer weather pattern here in WNY. Very minimal snow for December and first week of Jan. Loving it! However, I think the lakes are not frozen over so the threat of mad lake effect storms is sitting in the wings. I’ll take this mild weather for as long as possible, lol.
So will I. Winter is a hassle to deal with, so any reprieve is welcome for me.
I do not want to deal with ice jam flooding resulting from thick ice on local streams when it is followed by a rapid thaw.
I live about 80 miles north of NYC. It’s been single digits or teens for most nights with 20’s during the day. We’ve had some snow more than we have recently but not as much as the late 80’s and 90’s.
Temp wise, February will be here shortly. I guess it all depends on where we live, with the snow.

Sure would like someone to explain to me the difference between “chemtrails” and old fashioned contrails. Being a Navy Air vet I know what contrails are and what causes them but what does a “chemtrail” look like?
Can you find a reliable picture online? The chemtrails are nonstop lines they stripe the sky with for days, weeks, months… depending on how long the plane(s) fly. That’s where there is no regular air planes or near an airport. I have to look up contrails myself.
Contrails disappear quickly as they are not products of chemicals. The heat of the engines mixing with the cold air form them and they just dissolve. Geoengineering Watch is a great place to find out everything you would ever want to know about the ‘lines in the sky’. I used to visit their site everyday but it is so infuriating reading about what these idiots want to do that I had to back off. This all comes from leaving God out of every consideration and playing god themselves. The chemicals they are shooting across the world are heinous and they don’t care. Must be some money in it for them…

I got sick of low flow shower heads that were mandated during Carter”s reign so I ordered shower heads from Italy by “Siroflex”.
Wonderful and cost less than $20.
Been drilling out the water restrictors in every facet and shower head we use for the last 10 yrs. Bought 100 regular light bulbs during the 1st Trump administration
What a totally Stupid thing that is, we are supposed to take a Low flow shower, then I can go outside and water my lawn and garden at full flow for as long as I want to. Duh!
Bought the cheapest shower head the local hardware store had in stock. I found that the flow restriction orifice on a cheap shower head is not difficult to remove. Once the orifice is removed, it’s best to install the head along with a quarter turn throttling valve (found hanging on the rack right next to the cheap shower heads). End result is no wasting of water, and a shower head that works as intended.
My plumber took out all the restrictive devices on faucets and shower head when installing. it was just a plastic disc it looked like.

I had to buy a new washing machine, after Trump changed the rules on water saver products. I was so excited I could get one that wasn’t a water saver, as I have an artesian well. I even mentioned it to the salesperson. After we got it hooked up and did a few loads, I realized it was still a water saver. They just didn’t bother putting that sticker on anymore! I was livid!

They concluded that Trump’s muscular foreign policy was the work of so-called globalists on his national security team. So, for his second term, they worked to screen out alleged “warmongers” and staff the White House with “America First” loyalists. Anyone deemed too interventionist who made it through, such as national security adviser Mike Waltz, was targeted for purging.
Result? In his second term, Trump has presided over an even bolder foreign policy. He has bombed Houthi terrorists in Yemen. He obliterated Iran’s nuclear program and then warned the regime he would subject its supreme leader to “A VERY UGLY AND IGNOMINIOUS DEATH” if Iran killed a single American in retaliation. He has bombed Islamic State terrorists in Syria and Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria. In Iran, he has made clear that if the regime tries to reconstitute its nuclear program, he will strike it again. He is isolating Tehran through the reimposition of sanctions, but has also held out the possibility of toppling the regime, declaring on Truth Social, “It’s not politically correct to use the term, ‘Regime Change,’ but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change??? MIGA!!!” He was not suggesting sending 160,000 U.S. troops into the country; he was talking about a decapitation strike that would leave what came next to the Iranian people.
In Venezuela, Trump sent U.S. forces to capture Maduro and bring him to the United States to stand trial, much as President George H.W. Bush launched a mission to capture Panamanian strongman Manuel Antonio Noriega in 1989. But unlike Bush, Trump did not send ground troops to occupy the country. Instead, he has warned Venezuela’s interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez, that “if she doesn’t do what’s right, she is going to pay a very big price, probably bigger than Maduro.”
Some are criticizing him for not installing opposition leader María Corina Machado. How is he supposed to do that without sending U.S. forces to occupy Caracas? Instead, he took out the regime and is coercing Rodríguez through control of Venezuela’s oil exports and the threat of doing it again.
It is important that Trump succeed, because the alternative isn’t to go back to the old-fashioned way of doing things, with massive deployments of U.S. ground forces. The alternative is to do nothing. The isolationist right did not want Trump to bomb Iran, arm Ukraine, protect Christians in Nigeria or overthrow narco-terrorists in Venezuela. If it had its way, Trump would not be spending time or resources on these priorities.
So conservatives who believe in American global leadership should be rooting for him. Because if he succeeds, he will solidify a new era of bold conservative leadership in the world. If he fails, the isolationist right will be emboldened. The future of conservative foreign policy hangs in the balance.

Interesting that the Senate ratified this treaty in 1991, when George H.W. Bush (Bush the elder) was president. As CIA director and later as president, Bush would have known that man made global warming was a communist stratagem.
Even though the Soviet Union closed shop in 1991, the hardcore communists were planning for global warming to be the next “common ownership of the means of production,” that is, the next excuse for imposing totalitarian control on the world. Bush knew that, even if most of the senators didn’t. By now, everyone should know it.
