U.S. President Donald Trump received a grand welcome from Japan’s first female Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, in Tokyo before the two leaders held a bilateral meeting focused on trade, defense and regional stability.
Video segments below, as presented, starting with the formal welcome ceremony.
.
At the grand Akasaka Palace, President Donald Trump met Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi for a historic U.S.–Japan summit. The leaders celebrated shared achievements, discussed new trade and defense commitments, and promised a stronger alliance for peace and prosperity.
President Trump delivered very touching remarks about former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Mrs Takaichi’s friend and mentor in politics.

MAGA Fabulous!! Trump 2028!
👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
When one stops and really contemplates all that this President has done in 10 months and continues daily to accomplish, it really is mind boggling. He has been nearly everywhere in the world, participated in dozens of meetings and trade signings with multiple countries, worked on promoting and settling peace treaties in places where conflict raged and his agenda at home is humming along on all cylinders.
Honestly, the leftist, globalist enemies have to be besides themselves watching this all unfold. They accomplished NOTHING as far as foreign policy goes or trade or anything domestically in the last 4 years. I suppose that was on purpose, but still, they look like raving idiots every time they try to bad mouth this administration. Is the Trump administration perfect? No but their record and the course they’ve set for America to be a better place, is moving forward and succeeding better than anyone could have expected, improving our freedoms and lives.
More work must be done especially at home with election reforms and get out the vote for the mid terms, continued economic issues and deportations of illegals, etc., but in the mean time, Kudos to President DJT, for all he has accomplished. It has been awesome to watch.
What did Obama accomplish in his EIGHT years as far as trade and foreign policy? His focus was on trashing America.
Obama bent over and kissed the ring (hand) of Saudi Prince Abdulla in 2009. That was something! Put America on the path to its Glory! Not.
Obama is a disgrace
His 12 years, counting the Auto Pen.
Playing basketball, engaging with Reggie in INAPT ACTIVITIES during the Bengahzi scandal, trashing Christians (they cling to their guns and their Bibles) and droning innocent children to death
“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

For the Left everything is local politics, maneuvering for the next election. They have little thought about the wider world. They are children.
Albeit DANGEROUS children!!!
… what he said!
Actually 9 months and 1 week: Jan 20 -Oct. 28th😊
Well said.
PM Takaichi exudes grace and style, and dare I say it, femininity. Steely resolve too, to become Japan’s first female PM.
Japanese culture doesn’t waste time with DEI drivel, so she clearly earned her spot.
Looking forward to seeing more of her on the world stage, as Japan strengthens ties with the USA
Beneficial for both our nations. Such a novel concept, we’re so used to just giving away the store.
Oh, and fun fact revealed by Benny Johnson (hope it’s accurate, but I think he had video):
She’s a heavy-metal drummer and Iron Maiden fan.
Also, a biker. Gave up her motorcycle when she entered politics.
Conservative women always capable of doing so many things well.
And this has what to do with President Trump’s Far East trip or his meeting with the Prim Minster of Japan.
On citizenship I will remind you that Congress has never defined what a Natural Born Citizen of the United States is. The definition you quote is from the “Law of Nations” circa 1758. That volume was referenced many times by the authors of our Constitution but it is not US Law. Our Constitution gives Congress the responsibility of establishing citizenship and they have never in 250 years defined what George Washington and John Jay placed in our Constitution as a requirement for the Presidency.
BTW I agree with you in principal.
Yes I lost the connection to MichaelJ also! Sorry folks! I’ll be quiet and sit in the corner for a time out!
wrong thread.
Wow Beautiful!
Polite, decorous, and right down to (very) substantive business.
No hours, months, years wasted on drivel. No begging bowl in sight. Now that is how an alliance is forged.

Skip forward from the crypto discussion to the rare earths part.
I guess no one is going to bomb TSMC after all.
Huh.
(What happens to all those Pelosi Taiwan biolabs though?)
God bless Shinzo Abe. Good friend of Trump, who nearly suffered the same fate.
And God, while you’re at it, please watch over our POTUS, and PM Sanae Takaichi.
Amen.
Presented like a Samurai sword!
The relationship between Shinzo Abe and our VSG was precious. So evil what happened to Abe.
Looks like this new relationship could hit the same happy notes. Praying she stays safe!
Truly AMAZING!
BLESSINGS
Konnichiwa, Mr. President!
“Donald – san”.
And Arigato
Another rare earth mineral agreement. China must be shocked at how quickly President Trump circumvented their rash decision to cut off supplying U.S. with rare earth minerals.
Well done Mr. President!! This is fourth agreement.
Great pic!!
Prosperity!
BLESSED
I love our President. His sincerity of efforts is so touching and respectful.
When an actual patriot is elected to be chief executive…who would’a guessed?
The palace looks almost — ALMOST — as nice as the newly decorated White House. And how excited this Prime Minister must be, only a few days after becoming Prime Minister, to meet the President of the United States and his team!
She is going to kick all the illegals and fake asylum seekers out of Japan
She has also nominated PDJT for the Nobel Peace Prize
Finally- a woman with common sense
With Maggie Thatcher as her idol… of course!
That huge hall/ball room looks so impressive The White House doesnt have a hall like that -not until PDJT has started the building. I am sure PDJT is inpressed by the decor.
Republicans have a communication problem. (One of many)
Observe how the Dem-wits run to the microphone every day to set the narrative.
Yes, the media helps but WHERE ARE REPUBLICANS ? Their silence is murderous to the truth.
The republiCONS are silent because they hate Trump as much as the libtards.
The very narrow , cloth covered table is a nice, friendly touch.
PotusTrump is 1 billion in 1; there will never be another like him. Whoever TRYS to replace him, will never fill his shoes.
I fear Rubio, as potus, may revert back to Gang of 8 mentality. Yes Rubio, is NOT lilMarco anymore, has truly blossomed into quite a statesman. I’m not sure Marco can legally be potus as his parents were illegal aliens residing in America when he was born in Florida.
At least Rubio’s lineage is more certain than Obama’s.
Marco Rubio’s parents were never illegal aliens. They entered the U.S. with legal visas and were not refugees, as their migration occurred prior to the Cuban Revolution.
Did this new Prime Minister have some job in Shinzo Abe government that he would
have been speaking so highly of her..
Yes
All 1st CLASS and with total RESPECT .
🤜🇺🇸M A G A🇺🇸🤛
As I say to myself everyday…Thank GOD he overcame the electoral process as the winner.
10 years ago I would have said, “Trump won the election”.
The first woman Prime Minister of Japan: the long and enduring legacy of General Douglas MacArthur advanced to full fruition.
MacArthur and Trump share a lot of similarities. Both have powerful egos, yet are not fully narcissistic. Both are extremely accomplished in their respective fields, yet are not true politicians. And both have amazing accomplishments, yet were brought low by inferior men. I often wonder how things would have turned out if MacArthur had stood up to Truman and taken Eisenhower’s place in 1952.
You are misguided, re MacArthur v Truman.
The president is Commander in Chief, and exerts civilian control over the military.
The president, right or wrong, has the authority to make the decisions that are above any general’s may grade. Any other system would lead to a military dictatorship.
No, thanks.
MacArthur did NOTHING to help US military people in the Philippines or on Wake Island. Ineffective and not a leader.
MacArthur mishandled the Korean War, made a hash of it. When Ridgway replaced him things could have turned around but by then the US had battle fatigue and didn’t want the war prosecuted.
But you can go back to the “bonus army” after WWI when MacArthur disobeyed the direct orders of Pres Hoover to see this was someone out of control. Sort of like Milley more recently.
Poor Trump looked sleepy. I hope he’s ok
