I was thinking the denial of Tomahawks could be a Magoffin. A way to test if Putin’s assurances to Trump are worth pursuing.
If Putin pulls back his drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, then there is some indication of sincerity and peace talks can continue.
If drone, missile and land offensives continue, then Putin concludes a weakened Ukraine can be taken and Tomahawks are back in play to destroy Russia’s arms manufacturing capacity and force Russia to an agreement.
We give Ukraine Tomahawks then we are open to direct attacks from Russia….not going to happen.
Ukraine does not have the personnel to handle those missiles! It would have to take our people to be successful, thus we would be involved. No thank you, I like vanilla!

You vastly overestimate the power of the Tomahawk, as well as the power of what Russia can bring to bear if she chooses. You can’t “destroy her,” nor “force her” to an agreement. That has already been tried. We have no “wunderwaffen.”
