I have continued to point out that Chad Mizelle was Rod Rosenstein’s chief legal counsel during the first term of President Trump. As Rosenstein’s legal counsel, it was Chad Mizelle who literally wrote the “scope memos” that authorized the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate President Trump.
Mizelle also wrote the expanded scope memos for Mueller and Andrew Weissmann that permitted the targeting of Michael Flynn Jr, Michael Flynn, George Papadopolous, Paul Manafort and more. Chad Mizelle would have intimate knowledge of Rosenstein’s intent to hire Robert Mueller, before, during and after the Special Counsel was appointed.
Because of everything above, Chad Mizelle was always looked at with strong suspicion. There is no way to intellectually reconcile Chad Mizelle as a good faith actor knowing the intents and purposes of Robert Mueller. It just didn’t make sense.
Subsequently, when Chad Mizelle was selected to guide Attorney General Pam Bondi through the nomination process as Attorney General we watched with concern. After the successful confirmation, Mizelle then took up position as AG Pam Bondi’s Chief of Staff.
[It should also be noted that Chad Mizelle is reported to be very close friends and allies with Stephen Miller. Yet, another irreconcilable aspect.]
On September 20th, President Trump sent a seemingly frustrated Truth Social message, outwardly questioning the slow to non-existent reality that Main Justice was not holding the bad actors within the Lawfare operation accountable.
Three days later, it is now reported that Chief of Staff Chad Mizelle is departing Main Justice.
WASHINGTON – Chad Mizelle will leave as chief of staff at the Department of Justice in the next few weeks to return to his family in Tampa, Axios has learned.
Mizelle, a key ally of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, told us he’ll continue to support the Trump administration’s work, and plans to continue “exposing the left-wing groups responsible for violence across America.”
Bondi says Mizelle “served this Department with professionalism, sound judgment, and dedication. As Chief of Staff, Chad played a central role in coordinating the Department’s operations, ensuring its resources were aligned and our efforts were carried out with integrity and efficiency. His counsel strengthened our work to advance justice and protect the American people. I am grateful for his service and friendship.”
Todd Blanche, deputy attorney general, said: “Chad’s tenure at the Department has been marked by exceptional leadership and dedication to the Department. He provided Attorney General Bondi and all of us with outstanding counsel, and his steady hand helped guide our work. Chad played a key role in advancing the President’s America First agenda here at the Department, and his efforts strengthened our mission to protect the American people.” (link)
All of that may be true. However, it is also true that without Chad Mizelle there would never have been a Robert Mueller investigation and expanded scope memos for Andrew Weissmann.
Curious timing when contrast against President Trump’s statements a few days prior.
President Trump’s social media post: “Pam: I have reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that, essentially, “same old story as last time, all talk, no action. Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam “Shifty” Schiff, Leticia??? They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done.” Then we almost put in a Democrat supported U.S. Attorney, in Virginia, with a really bad Republican past. A Woke RINO, who was never going to do his job. That’s why two of the worst Dem Senators PUSHED him so hard. He even lied to the media and said he quit, and that we had no case. No, I fired him, and there is a GREAT CASE, and many lawyers, and legal pundits, say so. Lindsey Halligan is a really good lawyer, and likes you, a lot. We can’t delay any longer, it’s killing our reputation and credibility. They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!! President DJT“
Laura Loomer never had an issue with Chad Mizelle.

This thread triggered a memory, about something William Barr said, when he was Attorney General. He said that everyone in the room had to agree, before any prosecution was started.
That may be a general rule in the Justice Department, or only his rule, but when there is a frustration about nothing getting done people look for answers. Such a rule, in a bureaucratic agency is probably not uncommon. Nothing happens, unless everyone involved agrees, therefore every action has the imprimatur of unanimity, so everyone has their backside covered. In this case, the Attorney General convenes the staff, and if anyone raises an objection, a potential prosecution will not happen.
Effectively, this gives the Deep State, for example, a veto over prosecutions, if it is true. One person can object to a prosecution because the perp is “one of us,” and it will not happen. It is part of a bulwark. Try asking the DOJ how they decide whom to prosecute.
Oho! The “consensus” rule.
I’ve seen it in business too; it was in our training way back in the 80s. The company that was pushing it ran out of money and was absorbed by a larger one.
Does. Not. Work.
I remember that approach at Eastman Kodak Clinical Diagnostics in the early 90’s.
And how is this all different from Mob Rule- which I’m old enough to remember was supposed to be a bad thing.
That most have been the department where the one guy said we have to have film to sell or we go broke NO DIGITAL
I don’t know ANYTHING about Kodak Medical but I DO KNOW A LOT about their internal incompetence and the ultimate infanticide of their Golden Goose KODACHROME….Their idiocy, arrogance, and malfeasance tracked closely with Polaroids….who easily beat them into bankruptcy.
I often wonder if the Wall Street/corporate cocaine pandemic was at the wheel for much of this avarice….
pfizer was amazing ..really there was a time ..then they got a mcdonalds guy for the job . Burger boy made a hash of that …fastly
When Scientific Companies are guided by business people, disaster is guaranteed.
My Dad was offered a position by Edward Land to join him creating Polaroid. The Risk (with newborn child and another on the way) was too much. He declined.
Years later he (PhD in Physics/Chemistry) joined DuPont (the film making division)
At one moment he and a Team recommended NOT to enter/compete with the fast film business.
His Team was over-ruled by a Business Team.
DuPont lost 5 $ million in the failed effort.
I assume that was when $5 million wasn’t petty cash.
“When Scientific Companies are guided by business people, disaster is guaranteed.”
Respectfully disagree. Many Fortune 100 companies want Engineers with MBAs in the C-suite. Engineers bring subject matter expertise and technical problems solving abilities and their MBA training makes sure there is a business case for their decisions (often with imperfect information). I’ve watched countless engineers over design (due to their risk aversion) and specify the same technical solutions for decades without knowing the total cost of ownership. In my experience engineers love a technical challenge and will pursue projects with a negative ROI. The end result being massive amounts of wasted money which needlessly increases costs throughout the supply chain. Clearly, DuPont survived the $5 million loss … no doubt overcome by profits in other areas (presumably championed by higher ranking employees). Every company has losses … the key to survival is to have more winners than losers.
A friend of my girlfriend’s father was asked by Harlan Sanders to go in with him on a chicken restaurant. He declined and regretted it for many years.
“Consensus is the absence of leadership.” Lady Margaret Thatcher
Would that the U.K. could find such a PM now.
Ooooo….thats good! Never heard it before…..🤓
saving that one.
consensus in climate change “experts” is the absence of science.
The Abilene Paradox comes to mind.
So essentially, it is selling principles for convenience. In this case it is convenient to not do anything. Every bureaucrat wins; we lose.
Interesting
Mixelle fits in just like the rest of the lawyers in DoJ City. They go along to get along.
Funny how most leaving or getting fired respond with the “have worked for R’s and D’s without conflict. Now nasty Trump is firing everyone.
Suspicious cat can smell this Rat a mile away. Couldn’t take the heat that is hopefully getting hotter by the day. May find himself tied up in a civil forfeiture amongst a large group of conspirators from Russia, Russia, Russia fame.
Easy fix: Limit the people in the room.
Could Chad Mizelle simply be a “staff lawyer” who is bright and simply does what he is asked to do by his bosses to the best of his abilities? Not really politically aligned. Just trying to do the “People’s Work.” I met plenty of such people while in government. The consummate doers. The key is to know where to use them because they are not for or against the Administration’s team., and often you want someone who shares the vision and will have the courage to prosecute those he used to work for.
This was my thought. Competent lawyer that can navigate the DOJ bureaucracy just doing his job.
A competent, therefore ethical lawyer would have resigned from the DOJ. You couldn’t swing a dead cat there without hitting gross violations of the law.
.
Unless he was asked to do something illegal, you cannot cavalierly expect every working schmuck to stand on political principles and just “resign”.
Lawyers represent murderers. rapists, officials, businessmen, politicians, and many others with whose goals they may not agree.
.
Perhaps “every working shmuck” should actually make use of his/her Critical Thinking skills, and determine what ‘shades of grey’ are attached to his/her orders, and weigh his/her actions against his/her MORAL principals.
I thought this too.
There are people out there still that can simply do as they are told- period.
The are capable of putting their personal politics aside and simply doing what the people that pay them tell them to do.
Is that what Chad Mizelle is?
“I need this job!”
As EM Burlingame states….
Majority of Government workers
have 3 priorities
Pay…Promotions..Pensions
🤷♀️ 🤷♀️
Then you have the higher up psychos like Madeleine Albright,
Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power, Victoria Nuland,Kamala Harris…
who wanted….Control and Power.
Is this just a female trait?
You mean like the Nazi guards who were ‘just following orders’?
This was not exactly committing crimes against humanity. And you should never use Hitler/Nazi comparisons.
Why not? If the shoe fits ….
Because that is not a civilized way to comment or debate.
Not kinetic crimes. But crimes that DID hurt people.
Or the My Lai Massacre during the
Vietnam War?
That is just one of the most recent examples
of…just following orders….that most Americans
are familiar with…
🤷♀️ 🤷♀️
what u seem to b describing is a man with 0 integrity, principle and moral conscience… entrenched bureaucrats just waiting for that fat pension, no matter the cost to our Republic. This is why our govt has been rudderless and broken for decades.
.
Unrealistic. The retailer, construction worker, doctor, airline pilot, librarian etc. etc. etc. doesn’t have to worry about their personal opinions or politics being contrary to their customers’ goals and politics and may not understand.
Lawyers not infrequently represent clients with whose interests they may not personally agree.
(“Sorry, I can’t represent you in this custody matter; I think you’re a crappy parent.” “No. I won’t do your appeal; the judge may have made an error but you’re still a thief.” “I’m not going to represent you in this mortgage foreclosure because I think you just have misguided priorities regarding where you spend your money.” “I’m not going to draft a trust for you cutting out your daughter because I think you’re at fault in the relationship.” “I won’t draft these boilerplate lease terms for you because they will give you an unfair advantage against your commercial tenants”. “I refuse to give you a brief on the law in this matter because I disagree with your political goals here.” … )
.
.
Sounds a lot like Lawyer Talk to me, Counselor.
The Colorado Bakers refused to bake a GAY cake. And it was their right to do so.
At no point can the STATE ever force me to perform a service. Simple.
At some point people need to be moral in their jobs. And they know when.
Lawyers today ought to say “Sorry. I decline taking on your disgusting sad ass ed deviant case. But good luck anyway ….the public defender will. BTW He/She/It failed the BAR 5 times.”
But in the case of this particular lawyer, the subject of this article, the attorney didn’t “just agree or disagree” with the attorney general he worked for, he engaged in a bogus investigation, to the tune of multiple millions of dollars at taxpayer expense, all of which did not just “align with the democrat side of the aisle” but was also nefarious in its intent and in its process.
As a side note, after reading your posts I now see why so many lawyers/attorneys are morally and ethically challenged.
.
he engaged in a bogus investigation, to the tune of multiple millions of dollars at taxpayer expense
He did? Link, please.
.
I don’t think you make it to chief of staff being a competent worker.
that was not a good enough Nuremburg defense
“Could Chad Mizelle simply be a “staff lawyer” who is bright and simply does what he is asked to do by his bosses to the best of his abilities?”
But that’s just it: Per the write-up, he had become Bondi’s CHIEF of staff. Anyone who “simply does what he is asked to do” in THAT intuition-demanding role is falling short in the role.
This reflects VERY poorly on Pam Bondi for whom I already have massive suspicion.
Some of these people are overall good people but they fail in that they believe people around them too much.
They have this notion that ‘We’re all here to help America, they wouldn’t lie to me.’
That is demonstrably false and DANGEROUS!!!
Kash fits this mold also.
You do realize that everything you said could be applied to President Trump also?
Maybe give others the same courtesy you give him.
Just another reason Bondi has to go. Along with her sidekick, Kash. Why is it that the people making the hiring decisions select precisely the worst possible people for the job? I don’t get it.
Extremely doubtful, not with the love’im/hate’im this President generates; it’s evident that to get “anything done,” PDJT is gonna have to do it himself; IOW, PDJT must step-in and micro-manage.
And what is wrong with that? Micro-manage just means that Trump states what he wants, what he expects to get – now get on with it. I can do that in 10 seconds.
My thought as well. I have no way of knowing, of course.
Makes sense.
No
“ Laura Loomer never had an issue with Chad Mizelle.”
WHAT!?!
Loomer has been outstanding digging out/exposing the Deep State scum… hmmm.
How to process this…
🤔🤔🤔
Is Laura Loomer tied in with a certain nation in the Middle East?
She’s an American Jew.
Problem with that?
That doesn’t make her tied in with Israel obviously. But is she tied to Israel and is that what Sundance is implying?
Can’t wear two hats.
My thoughts, too. Can’t expect the woman to out every DS employee. In fact, the Administration should be doing this.
When she’s good, she’s good. When she’s bought, she’s bought. We saw this when she (and Steve Bannon!) were trying to say Chevron should get to keep working with Venezuela. Also some time ago she attacked a guy – I think it was Trent Leisy – in Colorado for no apparent reason but that divided Colorado conservatives at an important time.
I don’t have X so I can’t search on this, but as I recall it was probably Emerald Robinson, maybe Patrick Byrne who were pointing out the Chevron thing did a lot to show who is really who.
P.S. A lot more explanation about what Venezuela has to do with anything is here: https://rumble.com/v6zc8w4-election-cartel-whistleblowers-revealed-serbian-engineers-gary-bernsten-and.html
Thank you for the information! I will definitely check it out.
>> How to process this…
Yes indeed, how?
This is a case where we need more evidence beyond a flat statement.
I agree.
Looking at it another way, perhaps Chad Mizelle was embedded in the Biden Administration and supplied information to the other side? Don’t know…
“It should also be noted that Chad Mizelle is reported to be very close friends and allies with Stephen Miller. Yet, another irreconcilable aspect.”
Reported by who? I am mindful of what Sundance has pointed out numerous time in the past, when the NYT and Washington Post use word like, “according to sources close to the situation” we should be skeptical. Well, WHO reported this close association between Miller and Chad Mizella? And what does this mean? Is Miller a snake? Was Miller fooled by Chad? Suspicious cat indeed.
I did find this:
“During his short stint, Mizelle helped steer the DOJ’s Civil and Civil Rights Divisions toward advancing Trump’s agenda, including rolling back Biden-era directives and removing officials accused of politicizing the department.
The DOJ touts 21 Supreme Court wins over the past eight months under Bondi’s watch, many reversing district court rulings that clashed with administration priorities.
Mizelle’s work focused on those fronts, positioning him as a behind-the-scenes enforcer in a department that’s become a battleground for Trump’s “America First” vision.”
https://franknez.com/a-gop-member-now-makes-unexpected-announcement-to-leave-administration/
AND THIS:
“The backstory: Mizelle was named DOJ chief of staff by President Trump in December. Mizelle worked on the transition and began serving on Inauguration Day as both chief of staff and acting associate attorney general, making him the top adviser to Attorney General Pam Bondi and DOJ’s third-highest-ranking official.
Mizelle oversees the Civil Division and Civil Rights Division — key engines of defending and advancing Trump’s agenda.
“He provided Attorney General Bondi and all of us with outstanding counsel, and his steady hand helped guide our work. Chad played a key role in advancing the President’s America First agenda here …” Todd Blanche
https://www.axios.com/2025/09/23/chad-mizelle-to-leave-as-doj-chief-of-staff
It’s interesting that Chad is being credited with the legal victories thus far of this administration.
Causes me wonder if these statements are true?
If so, then is he getting into position to run for Congress in ’26?
Is there a problem at home…his wife is a judge in Tampa.
Mizelle, Mizelle’s wife, & Loomer all from FL.
Maybe Chad Mizelle was an info source for Loomer.
Or his wife was a source?
He would be a welcome change from Kathy Castor.
Could it be that the Bondi group is allowing the bad guys at DOJ to condemn themselves in how they perform their duties so as to take at least some of the heat off their firings??
Chads Hanging in Florida.
Deja Vu.
Better yet, let’s hang Chad…
O.K. Wordman… where are you?
Laura Loomer is not what you think she is.
Okay, what is Laura Loomer?
No one knows.
Go back and look at what she was saying when President Trump was saying Chevron needs to stop playing with Venezuela. She (and Steve Bannon!) were saying to leave Chevron alone. I think it was Emerald Robinson and Patrick Byrne talking about this back whenever that was, but I don’t have X so can’t easily find the link.
Chevron apparently shares an address in Europe with Smartmatic (election machine software.)
I hear her name and automatic….🤢🤢
She is an unhinged gutter mouth !
Did you read her X rant the last day of
Turning Point in July? It was posted
here at Treehouse.
There is trash talk….and then there is
gutter mouth. It was bad..Really bad!
😳 😳
She is too emotional …to the point of insanity.
With us Conservatives highlighting the rhetoric
and insanity of the left….
Sept. 22 she had an X battle…calling Crockett a
ghetto black B….ch and all types of racial slurs.
Do I like Crockett…nope. But wrong is wrong.🤷♀️
And Loony Loomer was waaay out of line.
The name calling needs to stop! Her gutter mouth
is not helping conservatives. We are condemning
the radical left regarding rhetoric and then she
spouts off her unhinged gutter mouth.. 🤷♀️ 🙄 🙄
Trump ally, Laura Loomer, attacks Rep. Jasmine Crockett in racist, sexist rant: ‘Should be working at KFC’
Have you forgotten that we have Free Speech?
She has the right to have a gutter mouth -and Conservatives will fight for her to have that- which we can then not choose to listen too.
She had an online spat with Ned Ryun after she got a person fired at HHS but was later rehired after an outcry. Problem is her donors are “private”
So many rats in the silos. Bondi girl will be gone soon. Can we please have a bulldog AG? Or better yet a rat terrier. A Mike Davis type would be my pick. Any suggestions?
Bondi will be gone soon ? Yeah, good luck with that .
Using his magic 8 ball again?
Got to get rid of Susie Wiles to accomplish that. I want to know who told Trump Ukraine and NATO could defeat Russia? Sounds like the idiot Kellogg. He knows Europe, who UK, France and Germany along with the E.U. are not allies, but adversaries at this time. Not the citizens, but these globalists traitors. I don’t want ANY U.S.weapons going to Ukraine. I want all advisors and intelligence withdrawn. Then tell these fake leaders ‘ GOOD LUCK!’
Change out the gatekeepers. Yes Susie, that would be you.
Tom Fitton.
He’s not an attorney last I heard him say. Hard to believe.
Harriet Hageman
excellent choice she has brains and balls and fear is not in her dna
A Malinois…
Bondi will not be gone until Wiles is gone. For myself, I have seen no signs that Wiles is out of favor with PDJT. What I do see is that 2026 is coming fast and that the MAGA voter base has not seen the kind of action against the deepest actors inside the Deep State that it voted for.
Looks like President Trump’s statements have had some effect. It will be interesting to see who replaces Mizelle.
Imagine having to work for Blondie. Every day having to prep her for a Fox News appearance.
Those press-on nails don’t polish themselves you know.
This post is far too subtle for my Neanderthal intellect to grasp. His past screams, “DEEP STATE!” but his close association with Stephen Miller and Loomer not digging him up says otherwise?
Is he a well-disguised operative?
I dont know much abt Miller, he talks good but not sure what he does for real. He used to work for Jeff Sessions.
Laura Loomer has a problem with Pam Blondie and everything she does.
I think Loomer is the one who started calling her Blondie, which is ridiculous in my opinion. So she has blond hair. It’s meaningless.
Nicknames are effective. Trump used many like “Little Marco.” Coining “Blondie” is the same, effective. Nbd.
As in dumb blonde … actually she’s a bleach-blonde even worse …
Yes and so do I and millions of other Pres Trump / MAGA supporters
The reality is both Kash and Pam have done a very poor job admitting they have massive amounts of leftists, anti-trump haters within their teams and have done very little to weed them out.
PT needs kick ass leaders who fully understand that America is under attack and not some weak attitude that projects all my people are good people.
For whatever reason, Trump l specifically chose weak leaders for DOJ and FBI.
We need more Tom Homans – many more.
Sounds like Chad Mizelle may have been a “blindly loyal” staff person … the lap dog type who always pleases and refuses “to look” at events around them. History is loaded with Military and Political “Chiefs of Staff” who are exactly this type of person. They are necessary creatures to have around in these types of operations …. who never ask why … but excel in blind execution of orders.
Very bright, very competent, highly compliant to please his boss and (in the words of my grandmother) dumb-smart. No excuse .. just the reality of the personality type.
This type of Chief of Staff does not create … they do not decide … they just do … and they just follow orders in a very efficient and highly competent manner … they never offer an opinion. He would also be a very knowledgeable guide through “the process”.
He was likely not the creator of the Mueller Orders and “creator” of lawfare actions … he was the executor of orders.
I think this is the firing a very visible symbolic patsy. I will not say he should not have been fired for his willful blindness to all corruption he willingly brought to life … without question … but this was a firing done to appease an angry boss.
… and what was the response on Truth Social immediately after the firing …. good doggy Pam here’s a cookie …. “you are doing a great job”.
Rosenstein, Weiesman, McCord, et al were the creators, who handed off the tasks of creation to a highly capable “staff” person who could bring them to life. These types of people can be found and hired at will. So, I have to disagree that “without Mizelle there would have been no Mueller and lawfare”.
If Bondi were serious …. this firing should be immediately followed by a grilling under oath because he DOES KNOW where the bodies are buried.
Also, pay attention closely as to where this guy ends up working.
Your opening describes perfectly the type of amoral bureaucrats, upon whom Stalin, Hitler, Mao, et al. always depended.
For such people were needed for their murderous, genocidal regimes. Morally thoughtful persons need not apply!
Lap-dog bureaucrats are the most dangerous!
Albert Speer comes to mind.
Agree on the dangers of a highly competent “lap dog” bureaucrat.
Just to offer a Historical example from the “other side of the spectrum”, to show that the type is not just endemic to the “dark side”.
Douglas MacArthur and George Patton were two military commanders who had Chiefs of Staff that fit this character type as well. Neither of these commanders were fond of having their visions challenged.
FDR and Investors like Warren Buffet also come to mind as well as people like Elon Musk.
Interestingly, after Charlie Munger died, Warren Buffet said words to the effect that Charlie had essentially been his conscience. He left no doubt that he considered Charlie to have been the much better man.
I heard someone state recently…
think it was EM Burlingame…🤔🤔
Majority of Government workers have 3 Priorities…
Pay
Promotion
Pension
🤷♀️ 🤷♀️
I do believe he has a pretty decent description!
“This type of Chief of Staff does not create … they do not decide … they just do”
Good guy or bad guy, more needs to be revealed.
The simplest explanation, for now, is that Rat Redactenstein, his boss, said “write this memo”.
This guy was a BAD GUY. To work as the Chief of Staff for a Government entity having the responsibilities of the DoJ … blind loyalty is not a personality trait any of the members of DoJ should have.
Excellent post!
Wasn’t Todd Blanche involved in the J6 prosecutions?
Todd Blanche defended President Trump against Jack Smith’s charges RE: J6.
It appears Mizelle was imposed somehow, first to ensure her nomination and secondly to ensure she toes some line. If so, what person or entity within the gov’tal apparatus has the power to impose their will on the incoming Trump administration in such a manner? Or was it a power within the Trump camp itself? Who? It sure ain’t Loomer!
I don’t know what this departure means but the following was good news.
It’s hard to flush this turd.
JUST IN: Judge Dismisses Peter Strzok’s Lawsuit Claiming He Was Illegally Fired During Trump’s First Administration
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/09/just-judge-dismisses-peter-strzoks-lawsuit-claiming-he/
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving elitist swamp creature.
His malevolent actions need to be so fully exposed that his large retirement settlement with the DOJ is reversed. It’s a travesty to reward seditious actors.
…and then there is Pam Bondi…
Chad’s resume and the blurb for its listing:
Chad Mizelle has extensive experience in both private practice and public service. He clerked for a federal appellate judge and has represented high-profile clients like Tom Brady. As an associate at Gibson Dunn, he has argued appellate cases and drafted cert petitions. He has also volunteered for political campaigns and written on legal issues related to abortion, national security, and securities litigation. Mizelle graduated magna cum laude from Cornell Law School and has a background in both law and politics.
Note the DOJ bates number in the lower right corner, maybe in a FOIA response doc production.
Per AI:
How to interpret the Bates number
This alphanumeric identifier can be broken down to determine key details about the document’s origin:
DOJ: The prefix indicates the producing agency, the U.S. Department of Justice.17-0554: This is the agency’s internal tracking number for a specific FOIA request. It likely refers to the 554th request received during the 2017 fiscal year.C: The character “C” is likely a sub-designation used by the DOJ to further organize and track documents.000048: This is the page number. It indicates that this document is the 48th page in the collection of documents produced for FOIA request 17-0554.
GOOD FIND
All of the people that have been exposed are being systematically propped up by the DOJ before ‘retiring’ or ‘moving on’.
Funny that.
Excellent! The DOJ is finally Hanging a Chad and Firing a Mizelle!
Maybe Mizelle is a good guy, and spy for MAGA. He can’t visibly prosecute The Deep State or he will get Hillaried.
Anyone in the employ of the last “administration” should have been removed asap. Why can’t we ever get what these jack wagons promise us? I know why, I’m just venting. My loathing for the words and actions of the traitors in this country is deeper than the Marianas Trench. This is just another reminder that Trump cannot save us. All he can do is buy us some time. This country is overloaded with real traitors, and the majority of the citizens do not have the courage or will to do anything about it. God is the only one who will bring justice. Jesus is the only one who can save us. That has never been more clear to me than it is today. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Carry on. HoooAaaaahhhh!
Thanks for taking over for me I’m on this pov statement. As long as “democracy” is the basis for assigning leadership a nation will never escape its own corruption, it’s inherently impossible.
Well said
Looking like PAM is the issue!
.
Sometimes lawyers just represent their clients/bosses, and as their mouthpiece or scribe, do what they are asked to do to the best of their ability (so long as it is not illegal).
Sometimes, later, a conflict of interest will arise because a new client or boss has issues contrary to the former client or boss. The lawyer has to decline representation or resign.
I say this without having a clue about this guy’s personal politics or opinions.
.
In mega law firms, COIs happen all the time with hundreds, if not thousands, of clients over time and a spectrum of locations. Therefore, the practice of a Chinese Firewall is a common practice, and when implemented, notification is transmitted firm-wide.
.
And this doesn’t work, as you undoubtedly recognize, when the conflict is not that of “the firm” but of a specific lawyer who cannot practicably be excluded.
.
That person would be excluded from being assigned to that case. In mega firms, there are many case options. Individual COIs are just as recognizable as firm COIs. Choosing to ignore COIs or believe they can avoid them, even being questioned about them, is a different matter entirely.A reputable firm would never risk a COI. It can take down a firm or in the least lose many clients.
The question here probably is, he was retired, a former SA FIB and considered no longer to have a COI? Will be interesting to see how this plays out… Did he retire knowing he was going to be a plaintiff? When did he decide to be a plaintiff? Was he still a SA FIB when AJ did his broadcast and retired afterwards, knowing he was going to be a plaintiff? Did they just think PT wasn’t going to win & no DOJ was going to dig deep into this COI? Many questions.
.
??? Wrong thread?
.
Yes! I veered off into the other one! Too many tabs open. Guess I can’t multi-task:)
I absolutely cannot figure out how to reconcile this man’s friends and statements with his past actions.
Right now the most power tool of Trump resistance in the Federal bureaucracy is pretending to support the agenda yet stonewalling, slow playing the actions needed. I’ve seen it multiple times when I’ve been asked to take over an area of a company that my company acquired.
Trump needs to appoint aggressive M&A Executives at DOJ and FBI. The kind of lower rear back holes that everyone hates. Those guys understand that to merge you have to change the culture and dump the former leaders. You may lose a few good ones when you do so but you don’t have time to find out which ones those few are. These individuals understand completely how passive aggressive stonewalling works from acquired leaders and managers and can spot it right away. The mission is complete culture change and you can’t do it with those who pretend to back your change.
You have to put aggressive lower back holes that truly support you in ASAP. You rarely find those types in the political/governmental sphere. And the podcast sphere / broadcasting sphere is not the source either.
I suspect we will hear from Loomer soon…if not?
More of the leftover thugs in Justice should get a clue and self deport into the general population.
Next, please ID those hangers on, like drunks before closing time, and move them off the payroll with no pension.
All the recent cryptic posts by SD have me quite confused. I understand Loomer has called out many people who were in the administration. But what does her lack of identifying Mizelle mean?
Evidently, neither did Stephen Miller.🤷🏻♂️
During the transition timeframe, Fox published an article listing President Trump’s administration picks at that point (article updated in Jan 2025). Below is the one sentence attributing Mizelle’s qualification. Everyone else had lots written about them.
How does he make the leap from GC & COS of DHS to RR’s chief legal counsel? That’s some resume gap.
Suspicious cat, for sure.
“Chief of Staff at the Department of Justice – Chad Mizelle
Chad Mizelle has been named to serve as the next chief of staff at the DOJ.
“During my First Term, Chad was General Counsel and Chief of Staff at the Department of Homeland Security, where he helped to secure our Border, and stop the flow of illegal drugs and aliens into our Country,” Trump explained on Truth Social.
“Chad is a MAGA warrior, who will help bring accountability, integrity, and Justice back to the DOJ.”

“To drive the snakes, you beat the grass!” Keep beating, PDJT.
there r thousands more like him still entrenched at DOJ, meet Assistant U. S. Attorney Alex Rosenzweig: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1970575369389363658.html
Seems that Bondi’s instinctive reaction to pressure from ‘the big guy’, is to find someone to fire.
However, this guy has been kicking around Main Justice for way too long.
Rectifying ‘Chief of Staff’ problems just puts Bondi’s issues now more in the limelight.

Radical skepticism in the absence of gathering all the facts is running too rampant here these days.
FYI, trolls deliberately planting and inducing this sort of thing in commentary community on-line is a honed and practiced psyop technique. Too many seem to be all too ready, instead of contemplating the facts after being alerted that there MAY be a need for more information, to ignore countering facts in favor of going off half-cocked on paranoid conspiracy theories and unrealistic demands.
Where’s the critical thinking and contemplation? Just stop it.
.
Just another case of NO PUNISHMENT. Oh, well, ““Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose”
.
And another trollish comment from the vieux poisson pourri?
.
Good Riddance!! I would bet he was given a choice leave or be fired!! Bye 👋 Chad NOT sorry to see you go!! 💁🏻♀️
What is Chad’s connection to Ballard Partners?

Why leaked that Comey will be indicted on Friday, and why did they leak it? Such performative theatre.
Why do these lefties all have yellow teeth?
Chad the CAD. Never trusted a person with that name. Me and Suspicious Cat.
Awe.. too bad, so sad.. okay, looks like we may be able to catch a moving train now.. So what’s for lunch ..
Just watched Bonjovi with Meghan Kelly roll his eyes and rattle off a bunch of crime-fighting statistics, pretending he has a tin ear for all the Epstein disquiet when everybody knows he would be squawking in his former pundit chair louder than anyone else about precisely that.
Laura Loomer never had an issue with Chad Mizelle. Wow, clearly she can’t be trusted.
Why is it taking so long to charge these crooks? Sorry, but Kash, Blondie, Dangino, they all suck. Dawn raids and arrests should be happening daily.
Dear Sundance. Your very last sentence was spot on!
I haven’t been a fan of hers since our 2015 Twitter days
It is a bit disconcerting this guy is a Miller pal…or is this
guy just one of those that goes with the flow cuz it’s very
interesting he chose to leave shortly after #PDJT47 Truth
