If Tyler Robinson (22) was in a romantic relationship with his roommate/partner Lance Twiggs (22), a biological male transitioning to be a woman, i.e. transsexual, the shooter’s motive gains considerable clarity. The Daily Mail is now filling in some of the details.

My impressions are that anyone who goes to a psychiatrist or a counselor for help is told that they are gay or have been abused as a child. In many cases it’s both. Remember, the therapist has control here and is believable to the patient.

If a woman has difficulty with women’s hormones how the heck does someone think they would work for men?
There was a sudden gold rush of clinics starting up all over the country to do surgeries on some too young to receive the surgeries (medically speaking). The only way the surgeon has enough tissue in the existing male genitalia to construct (we are dealing with cosmetic surgery here) an artificial vagina is to do the operation when the patient is fully grown. This is because the artificial vagina will not grow with the rest of the body. The male body does not recognize an artificial vagina as the real thing. It is a wound, therefore it will not grow with the rest of the body. There are other problems caused by the patient’s male physiology, but this is a big one as it is one of the STOP signs along Transition Road. Because of this, it is difficult for a pre-adolescent boy to get socialized as a girl prior to the onset of puberty. The patient has to wait until the body is through growing and the genitalia are fully developed and sized. The surgeon will use that tissue to construct the artificial vagina. This is another reason to not:
Give patients not fully grown and developed estrogen or puberty blockers or both. Both estrogen and blockers can result in the patient’s genitalia not growing and not developing. Ummm, Tyler was turned over by his father to Washigton County LE about 10:00 pm MDT on Thursday, 9/11. The first mention of the roommate texts was at the Friday 9/12 morning press conference. Tyler was already in Utah County jail by that time. I believe the texts were used to justify the aggravated murder charge, which enables the death penalty in Utah. He had already admitted he shot Charlie, to his father.
Your statement is based on a premise that the timing of how information has been released or otherwise surfaced publicly corresponds chronologically to how it was received by law enforcement. I have no idea and neither do you.
As far as I am aware currently no one knows whether it was Twiggs who went to the police or they went to him and when that happened. We don’t know if Twiggs is will be named an accomplice or just a witness. Patel mentioned in the press conference the thousands of leads received. I am that the 100K was a helpful motivator to many in this regard.
In time we should hopefully know so that there will be no need to be speculative.

Or could it be that Robinson built that rifle but wanted it to disappear into the gun store’s inventory? There is mention in the probable cause document that there was something unique about the rifle and scope. That sounds like maybe Robinson built the gun. It seems that pointing out something special about a gun would have been something a gunsmith would remark on. Also, the gun probably would need to have a serial number or some form of identifying number assigned. That would require a bit of special treatment.
Here’s another question: Would a gun store have engraving tools?

I saw this video yesterday when the shooter was running to get off the and I wrote this last night before this current news came out today so here goes,
The shooter in the video coming off the roof confused me at first because I couldn’t find the rifle in the crappy video provided from the campus camera especially hearing they found the alleged rifle in the woody area prior to seeing this video.
So I went through this video over and over until I finally discovered the rifle. The barrel was inside the sleeve of his jacket (sleeve is straight) when he used the sling to set the rifle down into what appears to be a commercial grade gutter or ledge. He switched hands from right sling hold (floating jacket) to left (new sling hold) so he can position himself before climbing/jumping down.
If you watch closely, he grabs the barrel inside the jacket sleeve that’s in the gutter/ledge with his right hand and jumps. When he lands he injures his right leg, grabs something off the ground to his left (not sure what) then holds the barrel by the jacket and walks/limps off to the street.
He was also wearing a bulletproof vest under his long sleeve black shirt. Photographed images verify this. Look closely.
Why is this so important? They (LEO) described a rifle found in the woods allegedly belonging to him but when the details of the roof escape happen, they never mentioned the rifle from the time he’s running on the roof all the way to the street. In a court of law, allegedly holds no water and would be dismissed. This a a crappy video as we all can clearly see and I’m sure they would be able to enhance the video to confirm the rifle belongs to the shooter. That’s if he doesn’t confess first.
Talking about pants, shirts and possibly converse sneakers with white souls and all, is great, but they need that rifle before he exits that roof, otherwise, if he doesn’t confess it’s going to be tough to incriminate him. If his finger prints connect him to the rifle then they got their guy. Let’s just hope a different rifle wasn’t placed in the woods. I say this because they used the words “What we believe was the weapon that was used in yesterday’s shooting.”

*For non-shooters, when shooting in a prone position, a sling is required. It’s what you use to weave around your wrist and forearm to keep the rifle stable. When getting elevations, all shooters start at 100yds and move out from there, keeping a journal of each yardage. There’s also a shooter’s personal wind zero but that’s beyond the simple basics. This guy was NOT a professional. But he knew his rifle I’ll give him that.
After he has picked up whatever it was (sunglasses?… barrel?), he seems to be gathering things together as he sets off toward the street.
Just as he is passing over the sidewalk, he appears to do a “sweeping action” (up and over his head) with one of his arms (sling?).
Right before he leaves the sidewalk, a dark, thin “barrel-like” object appears over his head.
Very distinct image against the brightness of the sidewalk.
Much too thin to be an arm.
Very rigid appearance.
BTW, there has been speculation that the impact of the rifle butt hitting the ground, after the fall from the roof, may have provided enough energy to displace the scope to it’s now “obviously too close to the face” position.
If he had fired with the scope as far back as it was portrayed by the OFFICIAL PHOTO (provided by the Authorities) he would likely have one h€ll of a shiner, and possibly multiple fractured facial bones.
This does not now appear to be the case.
This could place the stock (and the barrel) in his possession as he fell….
