Young people all spend a great deal of time online now. I would guess he could easily have been radicalized there.

If you do research on this, you will learn this is an underground parallel universe to what is going on outside their computer screens where normal people live. The gaming rooms are like a social media setting but it is private, so there is opportunity for private voice/text conversations that are not recorded by the gaming companies. (such as Discord, which the killer was involved with) There are gaming groups where they are in games that Army recruiters are sometimes involved in. Games that simulate sophisticated military/intelligence actions. Language is used such as Cyrillic- used in Russian espionage. Many of the “Moderators” are in the military. It’s not too hard to assume there could be IC in there indoctrinating/radicalizing these kids to carry out the actions (a “wishlist” if you will, for those trying to destroy our Republic. IMO it is possible the Left is creating paramilitary nutcases to carry out heinous crimes. Would imagine it’s easy to create the messages, content in the chat rooms while they are gaming that meshes with the same indoctrination “Hate America”, woke messages these kids are getting in the public schools and colleges from their radical Left teachers.

Oh, I said the same thing till i got fed up listening to the crazies. Video taken from Chatlies left, when slowed down to .25 speed, zoomed x2, aspect ratio set to 5:4 using VLC player (thank you random weirdo on the internet for those exact instructions). Not only does the man to his right raise up something and turn it several times, you can see a glint/artifact of the projectile prior to impact. Seeing it from the front in slow motion shows something grabbed Charlie’s shirt pulled it from right to left then abruptly turned up. It’s chilling to watch, I don’t like seeing it but yes, (something) struck him that came from the right. If we had TP USA’s video, which they captured from 360 degrees in high definition, we could settle all arguments in about ten minutes. The number of patsies rushing to distract should make everyone a skeptic but it’s visible to anyone willing to stomach watching a friend murdered in slow motion.

I read a theory that the fatal round came from slightly behind his upper right and downward through his head where it came thru his left neck. They used the upward deflection of his clothing and safety vest shoulder straps as part of their reasoning. But he was under a canopy and not visible much above a 20 degree angle so it seemed implausible to me. I tried to find that discussion to post the link but cannot recall exactly where it was.
Mr Kirk was wearing a bullet proof vest – A body shot was taken, the bullet hit the vest, broke into pieces and a fragment went into his neck.

It seems like the gunman must’ve been on that roof at least once before the shooting took place. How else would he know where to go for the perfect shot he took. So, there should be more surveillance footage of him being on the roof before the shooting.
Likely. My experience here is it really depends on their tech. An industrial CCTV I used years ago, 1995ish, using frame reduced tape, only kept a week accessible in office, then you’d have footage dumped to an archive tape and sent offsite to Iron Mountain facility in PA. I’m sure it’s digital now, but even digital vids get dumped to tape after time; there’s just too much data. If our suspect visited the campus a month ago, it’s recorded somewhere, but they have to go back and scour manually, and that isn’t even the angle the perp used to get on the roof. So that other angle might not be filmed, or they are still scanning. This video was from a specific angle and specific minutes, so it was easier to retrieve.
He scouted it out a few weeks before. There are numerous reports of people who saw him on campus and reported that to the FBI tipline that was setup AFTER the shooting.
He scoped it out during the week according to what I saw/read.

I would think that the 30-06 rifle was just what happened to be at hand. Invented in 1906 – hence the name – It’s one of the common calibers ever in deer hunting, is strong enough for bears, and is widely-used enough to be found even at roadside gas stations in hunting parts of the country. Shoots a flat trajectory, usable to good effect even by inexperienced shooters, and has solid knockdown.
Occam’s Razor would say that the rifle was opportunistically available to the shooter, maybe a generational hand-me-down, and so not a lot of thought went into selection of the particular weapon. Certainly not for concealment.

I’m a deer hunter – one that doesn’t bait, but tracks and shoots in the rocky plains of the flint hills Kansas. Often taking shot 200+ yards in that type of position. Track a group of doe’s. They wind me, hear me, see me, or just move because they want to. I’m running over giant hills at 20° grades fram ravine to ravine. All doing this while trying to remain incognito even if they sense I’m around but don’t see me. Often following until they turn broadside to me again. I then most often fall to a seated tripod position using my knee to rest my forward arm/elbow. Breathing heavily, adrenaline rushing, squeeze the trigger. About 90% of the time the deer drops in it’s spot. My furthest shot, also being my first shot at a deer ever 30 years ago in the 4th grade was about 770 yards. It walked about 10 yards and dropped shooting a 150 grain .308.
My long winded story is meant to convey that a determined person with a steady shot can easily do what he did in terms of getting the shot off. Getting a mauser up and down that building is my only open question. My dad had an 8mm. Those things are hand cannons.

Yesterday, based on the photos released at the time, I questioned whether the suspect was a male. I thought it might be a female because of the effeminate looking jaw line and body build visible in the photos.

Having just watched the video of Erika Kirk I have to say that it was difficult at best to watch it all. But what she just did exhibited a great deal of bravery and consideration for Charlie’s fans everywhere . She felt the need to thank everyone at this early stage of grieving.

Won a four year scholarship and then didn’t take advantage of it, or was it that he started to use it and then the Plannedemic started and he couldn’t use it? A friend’s daughter had a scholarship at the same time and she ended up not using it, due to the fact that she’d HAVE to get the poison injection in order to attend school.
But is that the reason Tyler did not finish, or “dropped out” of school?
And, did Tyler get the poison injection? If so, could that have effected his reasoning? Could the entire farse have so severely effected a young man going out into the world that he started to hate everything about the world?

There has not been any disclosure on ballistics, trajectory or medical examiner’s pathology report of the wound specifically entry, exit and result. Before the release of these videos it looked to me that the shot can from the left, not head on. Also he may have had the weapon when jumping off the roof, but I cannot really say I saw it from the video released. These FBI reports are really not that informative.

Watch the vid very slowly. Immediately on seeing the shot, and milliseconds before the wound appears in his neck, you’ll see Charlie’s T-shirt puff out in two places. (1) upper right clavicle area. (2) upper left pectoral/solar plexus area.
It was a body shot, not a neck shot. A 30-06 or 8mm (original Mauser cartridge) would’ve blown the back of his neck to smithereens, and showered the back wall with blood and bone.

I doubt a father would turn their child in to law enforcement if he had doubt’s about him committing the act. Aside from that it appears that if not for video surveillance and public disclosure of that video, this crime may never have been solved. Security on this campus is not very good.

I have no idea what Charlie would want, but it’s not his decision, is it.
We have criminal punishments for multiple reasons (deterrence, incapacitation, rehabilitation, retribution, and restitution), and currently capital punishment is in the law for three of those reasons.
Think of it as “societal self-defense”. It’s not about Charlie Kirk; it’s about doing what we think is the best way to prevent murders that otherwise would happen more often to others without it.

The probable cause document posted above by Sundance specifically says it was a Mauser .30-06.
What is your source to dispute the police report? Was it refuted/withdrawn by the police?
The first clip of Charlie being hit the sound of the projectile was a small caliber fired from a rifle that was using a can. Also like to note that the Mauser 98 was last manufacture in the ’40s thinkin’ around 1945 and they were heavy which includes a 22-24″ barrel/wood stock/topped with a scope, 10 pounds +/- 1. The person that came off the roof did not have a heavy Mauser 98 rifle in his possession. The rifle being shown did not have a bipod which the chances getting a first shot hit is not likely. More questions I have is did the Mauser ’98 have gunsmith work done like trigger work/bedded action with barrel floating/action trued ect. How about the ammo? Was it off the self or reloads and tested in the said firearm? The report is full of stink.
