Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is once again rejecting any consideration for President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss terms for a ceasefire without his involvement.
On a Twitter storm Saturday, Zelenskyy rejected the thought of giving any Ukranian territory to Russia in exchange for peace. “The answer to the Ukrainian territorial question already is in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one will deviate from this—and no one will be able to. Ukrainians will not gift their land to the occupier,” Zelenskyy said.
President Trump announced that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on August 15, in Alaska.
Zelenskyy reacted, carrying the message from the global intelligence community who support the ongoing conflict, and does not like the idea of the USA and Russia determining the outcome for Ukraine.
Zelenskyy has banned opposition parties in Ukraine, taken control of media, targeted religious groups who he claims are subversive to his interests and cancelled elections in order to remain in power. Now Zelenskyy hides behind the claim of a constitution his regime modified in order to ensure he alone controls the pathways to peace.

It has been reported that Vladimir Putin’s ceasefire terms include Russia totally controlling the Donbas region.

Zelenskyy is irrelevant and is probably a CIA construct. It is a wonder that Putin has not claimed ALL of Ukraine.
I don’t think Putin wants Western(West of the Dniper River) and all its anti-Russian headaches. Now the Eastern and Southern regions (including Odessa) are a ‘horse of a different color’.
The boundaries of “Ukraine” were set in USSR planning meetings. The historic boundaries of the original state encompass people who have had blood-enmity against “Russians” for literally thousands of years. Who wants that?
If Putin had wanted, “Western style,” to conquer territory, destroying civilians and military alike, he could have done so, and still could. But he stated on day-one what the objectives were and weren’t. He hasn’t deviated from that mission statement.
At this point, the Ukrainians would probably be better off under Putin’s rule than by this CIA Lilliputian.
Understand that Putin wants more than just Ukraine. His desire is to resurrect the former Soviet empire, meaning he also wants, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus and Moldova. Putin doesn’t want peace – he wants all of Ukraine and the others listed in this post.

Actually, I flatly reject that assertion. If Putin wanted that, he has the military power to get it. But that is not at all how either he nor the Russian state is behaving. The USSR is gone, an artificial and unsuccessful political construction that isn’t coming back.

That is total BS. That’s NATO misinformation to perpetuate their offensive war. Most of the non-Russian, Soviet states were a drain on Russia during the Cold War. Russian spent $Billions propping them up. Anyone with minimal history knowledge knows this. And Putin knows this. The land Russia has seized was almost entirely occupied by Russian speaking people, and was in direct strategic response to NATO’s aggression towards Russia. Putin had little choice given circumstances and his limited options. If I had been in his position, I would have done exactly the same.

One can only pray that Zelenskyy will at some time in the near future be charged with crimes against humanity.

Europe buys Russian energy, thus assisting in the financing of a war in which Europe supplies weapons to the opposing belligerent, Ukraine.
Now, one of the belligerents is treating with a third party nation to set parameters for said belligerent’s annexation of territory belonging to the opposing belligerent…without the involvement of the opposing belligerent.
And…the world fully expects all parties to said entreatment, to agree fully to its content?

Ukraine was bombing the Donbas region before the war officially started at the insistence of O’Biden administration. That’s why this war got started. Ukraine was taking advantage of Donbas because so many Russians lived in and worked in the mines there, so in order to instigate a confrontation with Putin, they started bombing the region of Donbas and blaming Putin. It was Obama, Biden and the then administration of Ukraine. Finally, O found him a patsy in Zelensky who wanted the money no matter the price he had to pay for his gorgeous wife who married him only for money.
That’s fine. Stop all military assistance to Ukraine. Remind Americans, the world, and especially the Ukrainian parents of a million dead sons and daughters that Zelensky was in on the whole Russian Collusion hoax, that he is directly responsible for the destruction of Ukraine, and that he traded a million young Ukrainian lives, an entire generation, all for a large bank account and several vineyards around the world. And post a 24/7 website showing his whereabouts in case anyone is “interested”. He’ll have a change of heart.
