Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is once again rejecting any consideration for President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss terms for a ceasefire without his involvement.
On a Twitter storm Saturday, Zelenskyy rejected the thought of giving any Ukranian territory to Russia in exchange for peace. “The answer to the Ukrainian territorial question already is in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one will deviate from this—and no one will be able to. Ukrainians will not gift their land to the occupier,” Zelenskyy said.
President Trump announced that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on August 15, in Alaska.
Zelenskyy reacted, carrying the message from the global intelligence community who support the ongoing conflict, and does not like the idea of the USA and Russia determining the outcome for Ukraine.
Zelenskyy has banned opposition parties in Ukraine, taken control of media, targeted religious groups who he claims are subversive to his interests and cancelled elections in order to remain in power. Now Zelenskyy hides behind the claim of a constitution his regime modified in order to ensure he alone controls the pathways to peace.

The people of the Donbas have already voted to become part of the Russian Federation. Zelensky should have thought about those people, rather than militarily attacking them since 2014, if he wanted their loyalty.

This territorial integrity requirement would not stand in the way of a peace settlement if those people were inclined to end the war and told Zelensky to make it happen.
I wonder where in their Constitution it states that the US and other countries have to fund their government and war?
The statement used to support no land for peace is “territory of Ukraine within its present border is indivisible and inviolable”. The constitution was ratified in 1996. Interpretations of this can vary.
It is time for the United States to disengage from this cluster F—- and let the Europeans deal with this nightmare.
Zelensky has been the impediment all along, even before the war started he could have declined any inclination towards being a NATo member. And no matter how long he hangs in there, sort of, Ukraine is never going to be a member of NATO.
They may however end up not being a country at all, but just a satellite or area of Russia, denuded of any grown men.
Ukraine has not been a country since 2014 when the CIA/State Dept overthrew their president. They are a puppet state of the CIA/NATO/EU. US taxpayers pay the entire government as well as providing weapons, intel, advisers etc. Without us, they would cease to exist. That’s exactly what needs to happen.
The sooner we can get rid of Zelensky, the better – not only for us but for his own country. The photo is apt as he is a spoiled brat who thinks way too highly of himself. And in addition, as he has been told “he has NO cards.”
