The House final vote was to accept the Senate amendment to the original House bill. So it has passed Congress and goes to the President
The House was the originating legislative body to create the bill. So it goes House, Senate, back to House. The House had to adapt their bill to match Senate amendments. The two versions now match, so no need to go back to Senate. Onward to victory signing tomorrow!! Woohooo!

Our best chance to avoid the rocky road ahead? Tariffs, re-industrialization, imploding the Executive departments, a Big Beautiful Border Wall, and millions upon millions of deportations.
And thank God 80M taxpayers didn’t just have their taxes blown up.
Maybe it is all about fixing the most dangerous and immediate problems (illegals invasion) first, then going back (hopefully) and fixing the longer term, but not quite yet as dangerous problems (economic) later.

Our President has to start somewhere and he started off with a huge win. CONgress hasn’t passed a budget since 2008. There has been so much graft, corruption, and kickbacks built into all of the CRs since then it is going to be a hard slog. President Trump can do it.
Massive had zero support again. He could not have gotten enough votes to do anything. The government would have shutdown causing chaos in the markets. There would be a massive tax hike slowing the economy and causing a recession when the government restarted. This is why not one Democrat voted yes on this bill that supports their traditional voter base. It is what the Democrats wanted to happen before the midterms so they could blame President Trump, call all his policies failures and win the midterms.
I am a fiscal conservative myself, but also a realist about how politics works in our federal government. With the balance of power so close in the House and Senate you have to do the possibile, or you lose totally. Sometimes you set aside your deeply held convictions and take one for the team.

Strange as it sounds, the first time I head this concept or rather lying promise was in an Obama speech. H3LL, Obama’s first major bill contained over a dozen costly non-medical issues within its 2000 plus pages.
