Massie should not be primaried. Massie is for fiscal responsibility and there is nothing wrong with that. Having a few fiscal conservatives in the party is a good thing. How much is the Iron Dome going to cost and what company is going to get the contract to build it? Will it be a US company? A Thiel company?
Every time there is a new president, the US taxpayer is forced to pay trillions more. Remember bailing out housing, then too big to fail banks, Covid payments, now they are just dropping the narrative and passing it with a title, “Beautiful.” What would be beautiful is to eliminate taxes on social security to ensure our seniors can enjoy what they built and eliminating property tax for homeowners over 65.
When are Republicans going to codify via legislation the mandate the people gave against illegal migration and all its associated costs? If it isn’t codified, then it will just change from executive branch to executive branch as it is now. Demand real change and codification.
I’m a Libertarian-leaning Republican but there is a time and place for ideals. I fully understand that there is not nearly enough support in DC for those kind of platitudes.
I lean Libertarian also but the difference is I am situationally aware. Massie and Rand are too busy looking out for bears while the mountain lions are right at their backs.

Consider the professional poker player who plays big tournaments. You “might” cash in 20% of the tournament you buy into.
So let’s say you have $1M in buy-ins and you cashed to the tune of $1.2M. So a net of $200K. But from a taxable income perspective you now have to claim $300K… where is this $100K income the government says you owe taxes on?

My vote is for economics first. Let’s get our nation so invested in manufacturing that our native innovation explodes! Once that gets started, please put the Executive Branch back in order. Trim the CIA down to skeletal size and force them into humint. Disband the FBI or disarm them and turn them into “crime consultants”. And as the Treasury continues to fill up due to tariffs, can we work toward eliminating Federal income tax? Once the IRS is eliminated and the Federal government is funded by tariffs, I think it will be very hard for future congresses to vote to restart it.
Finally, start working over the judicial branch through reverse lawfare, including constant lawsuits against all the democrat judges who think they don’t have to pay any attention to the actual law.

I did post that the bill would pass because of the no tax on OT, tips, and Social Security provisions. I stated that hourly workers will vote against the democrats when they notice how much more they take home in their paychecks each week. OT taxes were ridiculous and everyone said so . I’m an old school libertarian, supported Ron Paul for president back in 1988. I’ve always cared about our nation’s bloated budget, deficit spending, believed in fiscal responsibility. But as the decades have passed it’s become more and more apparent that that ship sailed long ago. We are playing with Monopoly money, nothing backs it up. The debt will never be paid back, it’s all funny money. So the truth is notions of fiscal responsibility are fanciful obsessions with another reality that no longer exists. At this point its only about keeping just enough faith in the monetary system to allow it to be propped up by it. Faith that has no reason to believe in it, more like hope. Anyone who supposedly cares about fiscal responsibility in Congress today to oppose the BBB based on deficits and impact on national debt is just virtue posturing for their own egos and those who pretend its real money after all.
Is why my only objection to the BBB was the AI/ADS (Automated Decision Systems) 10-year state regulatory timeout. An ADS is where the computer decides your needs aren’t necessary. Wrongs you suffered having no recourse. The person across from you or on the phone saying, “I’m sorry, the computer says no, nothing I can do.” How to impersonalize tyranny, the points of friction removed from the human you interact with and blamed on the ADS. Just checking in to make sure that wasn’t in the final bill just passed.
