King Charles is arriving in Canada today in advance of an opening speech he will deliver to the Canadian Parliament. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney invited King Charles to attend, and while the media portray the visit as mostly symbolic there is no doubt the substantive issue for Canada is the economic dependency on the USA and how the U.K can bolster the position of Canada against that threat.
Everything is always about the money of the thing, this dynamic between the U.K and Canada is no different. What we would call the ‘western’ global financial system is contingent upon all U.S. allies retaining the United States as their consumer base and stable currency center. President Trump has exposed the vulnerability of Canada as he confronts the parasitic relationship {GO DEEP}.
In advance of the U.K positioning itself as the skirt behind which Canada can hide from the horrible Trump, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer extended an invitation for President Trump to attend a state visit in his honor later this year. The effusive praise from Starmer during the White House meeting was keenly strategic, so too was their urgency in creating the first new-era free trade agreement with the USA.
Perhaps President Trump’s embrace of Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia should be viewed through this financial prism where the EU, U.K and Canada will ultimately go to war (together) against the efforts of President Trump. Within the partnership of the UK, EU and Canada, the Snow Mexicans are the weakest link, the most vulnerable to collapse from Trump’s economic policy.
Canada no longer has any substantive ability to create heavy machinery industrial goods. Most of the Canadian manufacturing equipment is imported from China and the EU.
The same issue, albeit to a lesser -but increasing- extent, is the core impetus between U.S. President Trump’s manufacturing policies in the USA. President Trump is urgently attempting to rebuild a collapsed industrial manufacturing base. However, from the leftist position of Canada, the easier route that affords them the ability to chase the green energy rainbows is to retain a dependency manufacturing model. These are political decisions.
At the core of this dynamic you will find the reason why President Trump is likely to dissolve the U.S/Mex/Canada (USMCA) trade agreement and instead turn toward two independent bilateral trade agreements between the USA-Mexico and USA-Canada. Extend this reasonably accurate predictive economic reality to its logical conclusion and you see why the U.K wants to help bolster Canada.
In the battle against President Trump’s economic ferocity, Canada is relying on the friendly, duplicitous and influential mask work by Great Britain.
LONDON/OTTAWA (Reuters) – King Charles flies to Canada on Monday for a highly symbolic visit showing support for the nation that recognizes him as its sovereign but is coveted by U.S. President Donald Trump as a 51st U.S. state.
Following an invitation from Prime Minister Mark Carney, Charles will open parliament in Ottawa on Tuesday, the first time a British monarch has carried out the duty since his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, did so 68 years ago.
Trump has repeatedly expressed a desire to annex Canada, a proposition fiercely rebuffed by Carney whose election win last month came partly on the back of that stance.
“The prime minister has made it clear that Canada is not for sale now, is not for sale ever,” Canada’s envoy to the UK, Ralph Goodale, told reporters during a visit last week by Charles to Canada’s high commission.
“The king, as head of state, will reinforce the power and the strength of that message.”
Charles has made subtle signals of his backing for Canada in recent months, wearing Canadian medals, calling himself the king of Canada, and describing its flag as “a symbol that never fails to elicit a sense of pride and admiration”. (read more)
Remember, the core of the thing is money.
What does that mean?
Well, in addition to the zero-sum mindset of the Canadian and British governments, it also means both Republicans and Democrats in congress will fight President Trump with extreme prejudice.
If you want to see a Republican fight, start to threaten their financial status and suddenly all those spineless Republicans will attack the disruption with a ferocity that could fuel ten-thousand Dragon-X launches. If you doubt that truism, go back and look at the Republican support for President Obama weaponizing the IRS against the Tea Party. If you still doubt that truism, look around right now at how hard the Republicans are fighting to retain the Ukraine laundry operation.
There is no such thing as a “Republican ideology,” it is always about the money.
The UniParty is two wings of the same bird, a vulture.
Republicans will soon profess their undying love for a free and sovereign Canada, and if President Trump doesn’t return the effusive praise for King Charles things will get ugly.
If President Trump walks through the firestorm of the influence campaign and exits to the other side still intending to demand trade reciprocity -using tariffs to deliver it- he will be as isolated from the Republican party apparatus as MAGA voters are.

Canada looking to the UK for protection is pretty hilarious. Good luck with that.
Oh Canada, your citizens are rapidly finding out that your leftist socialist WEF government is nothing but a paper tiger. Too far into the globalist, leftist BS with no offramp. The risk to Canadians isn’t PDT, it’s the Chinese who’ve you’ve allowed to infiltrate every part of your nation. Canada is really scrambling if they have to drag king Charlie over to pretend you have any kind of rational defense against PDT’s trade policies.
Seriously. That ship sailed long ago.
Canada looking to the UK for protection is pretty hilarious
Especially since it was reported today that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is considering handing over the British Army to fall under the conrtrol of the European Union, essentially, turning Britain into a new ‘Colony” of Brussel.
Pretty sure Brexit involved military as well as economic spheres……
And TwoTier Keir has now given away our fishing waters and control of our underfunded military. Next I predict the Brussels kakistocracy will introduce conscription so they can kill off our young men and women in the Steppes.

Kings ended in the 1700’s: let them stay ended.
We have enough trouble with modern kings, i.e. dictators, or fake presidents in power through election fraud, et al.
Kings have been around since humans landed on earth and will continue until there are no humans left here. They are just called other names.
I like to think of myself as not a democrat or republican but as a Theocratical Monarchist and our platform has one “plank”: “His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven” Simple.

The King’s loyalists and proxies should all be expelled from this continent. Those buggers still want to yoke our Republic with mercenary mercantilism.
During our civil war France (in the Atlantic Ocean) and Russia (in the Pacific Ocean) warned England not to get involved in our war, as they were waiting to pounce on the victor.
Eff the Crown.
Bring our troops home from Japan, South Korea, Europe and elsewhere. Put a stop to fentanyl smuggling using our military forces and courts.
Agreed.
Charles just came over to make sure the Royals are still going to get their “cut” of Canadas Lumber production.
How does any person…supposedly dying from cancer…. unable to make but few public appearances in his own country…… suddenly have the energy to travel half way around the world and start giving speeches?
Curious minds are trying to understand.
Ask Joe Biden.
So far, no one has mentioned the King’s facial resemblance to Joey. But maybe it’s just me, good with faces. Looking through my CD collection yesterday I came across Marilyn Manson’s “Smells Like Children”, and wondered why I never saw the meme politically applied to him.
Aborted live birth baby adrenalchrome might have something to do with it.

Change it up a little bit “God Save the Preen”.
I’m moving on from disliking the snow Mexicans to hating snow Mexicans. I’m all for dissolving USMCA and applying a 200% tariff on all goods and services from Canada. I’ve always hated Great Britain. I hate them for enslaving the colonies , invading our country (from Canada) and burning our capital. I deeply regret that we rescued them in two world wars. I’ve never understood our “special” relationship. First they were our oppressors we won our freedom from and then became a giant parasite sucking American blood and treasure. None are owned anything but contempt.
That’s like saying we President Trump supporting Canadians hate Americans.
Just because you gave us Bush, Romney, McCain, Biden and worst of all Obama.
🥂
There seem to be so few of you though.
Appearances can be deceiving.
Biden was incredibly healthy, and could go for another 20 years.
Obama was truly a magnificent President.
Just ask George Clooney.😉
We attended two 2016 rallies in Washington State at locations maybe 30 to 45 mins from our Canadian border town.
Many from our town attended..my hunch is our truckers and their convoy supporters, many gaoled..or de-banked are President Trump supporters.
All of Alberta’s political seats went conservative in the last election.
Our electoral map looks like yours..the three largest cities determine our winner🤮
Cheers!
Bless you, Dekester. Much heavy lifting awaits y’all, freezing temperaturres and snow drifts or not.
😎
We love and respect you here, Dekester. Also, much appreciate your support of MAGA and PDJT.
I know your area well. I grew up on the other side of the border. Our family used to go on picnics up in Vancouver and take the Anacortes ferry to Sidney. I feel like that whole area is home and that includes your part of Canada. I am ultra glide a few friends there from playing bridge and supplying tournaments on both sides of the border. I used to cross back-and-forth in a box truck often until about 10 years ago. I feel that the Canadians there are like family. I’m with you😊
I agree with you, Dekester. I am not going to hate Canadians because of what their government has become. Our American government has committed enough atrocities across this globe that they should be ashamed.
The American government ALLOWED the US taxpayers to be ripped off by the world. All of Congress and every President acted like they were innocent bystanders as they stood there and did nothing.
It is hard working Americans and Canadians who are in the fight for our livelihoods and futures. I won’t play the Divide and Conquer game. They want us to hate each other instead of hating them.
I won’t give them that.
We don’t hate them enough in the United Kingdom.
Well put!
I’ve always loved Canada – especially Whistler – and like Canadians….but last summer the border people took my pepper spray! You can’t even have pepper spray????
We’ll be up there in a few days to go to Thunderbird in Langley.
We know the Thunderbird you mention. If it is the horse complex.
It’s a 30 minute drive from us.
Pepper Spray. Many here carry it.
We are presently on Vancouver Island and bears are fairly commonplace.
Best used on two legged mammals though.😉
The borders are different these days, the last twice driving north after buying gas.
U.S. border have stopped all traffic. I had to hand over my keys, and a canine did a “ walkabout”
Cheers!
Yes, we go with horses. The exchange rate makes it more affordable than staying in the Seattle area.
I’d wager they wouldn’t seize your ice-axe. Ask Leon Trotsky about how dangerous those are.
The bast*rds took my pepper spray, too, searched my van and frisked both legs, even though I was wearing shorts. Woman border guard. What was that all about? Spray was available if you came back through, but that wasn’t on my map. Shortened my hikes to be without it.
Otherwise, good people.
You have a right and should support and defend your sovereign country and I don’t blame or dislike any Canadian citizen for doing so as Americans should do also. I have lived right next door to Canada my whole life and have interacted with many Canadian citizens. I will never hate them.
Disliking with a huge passion your government which Canadian citizens are responsible for populating via elections is quite another thing though. Your govt. and our Democrat leftist parasites who wish to destroy America are in the same class for me. They need to go and stay gone. You guys need to do some more work that’s for sure and we have to continue to fight our enemies within too.
Be patriots, love your country, fix it.
Canada is a monarchy. With a system that enforces the monarchy. What is the only way to get rid of a monarchy? The people can rarely do it themselves.
Dekester, originally I’m from MN. There’s a lot of Canadians there. Through work back in the 90’s I ended up spending almost 2 years in Ontario. I did meet some nice people. I was working on a software conversion for a company we bought. What should have taken 6 months took almost 2 yrs. It was a sh*tshow. We’d set a project schedule and up pops “holidays” without notice. Not a week or even 2 weeks, but at least a month.
I ended up traveling to Calgary and Montreal for training. Loved the people in Calgary, couldn’t dislike Montreal enough.
As close as I was to a Canadian born neighbor, his wife told me how his Canadian relatives talked about Americans behind our backs. I think jealousy is inbred in many (not all) Canadians against Americans. It was so weird to come to this realization. I truly empathized with the Canadian truckers and was hopeful to see a backbone arising at least from some of the Canadians. I saw what happened to them and also saw that this could easily happen in the USA.
That’s why I have very little sympathy for clueless Americans or Canadians who believe these evil autocrats from any country. In fact, it’s more I despise these people.
I live behind enemy lines here in Massachusetts, and as a MAGA person whose son lives in Alberta please know that there are plenty of MAGA folks in MA (40% of voters here went for Trump) and Alberta who have NO representation in their government.
That’s a whole lot of “hate” there. Afraid that just might destroy you from the inside. Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for them. It’s really hard to do, and I practice it imperfectly, but suggest it wholeheartedly.
.. and 19 people gave a thumbs up .. wow.
I’m innocent. Please don’t hate me David.
🙏🏼I hope you are blessed a hundredfold for your charity.
the US was protecting itself in WWII
I know nothing about the first world war
If Germany succeeded in conquering Europe
they would be in a position to be world dominant

King Charles and Carney forming a coalition to push back on Trump and the Great Reset is going nowhere. A couple of lightweights trying to play geopolitics with zero leverage. Trump will chew em up and spit em out. Prince Phillip was right about Charles several years ago. Weak and no gravitas.
There has always been strife when Kings in England rule. They always quest for more power. I hope William is better.

“Everything is always about the money of the thing, ……………………..”
Rule Number One: Follow the Money!
So the sovereign of Canada, King Charles, flew to Canada to show President Trump and Americans that Canada is a sovereign and independent nation. Right.
If Charles declares himself the Sovreign of Canada and Carney declares fealty to him, isn’t Charles the one who is actually morally, ethically and perhaps even legally responsible for ensuring the financial well being of Canada in times of duress??
Seems to me that if Charles wants a commonwealth…..that wealth should be spread about the commons.
Indeed. Stop sending our money to them
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Excuse me for my unladylike guffawing (she said still snickering…)
Carney, ever the imbecilic climate worshipper, has put on his eco-jackboots, laced them up, and now, safely in office, has threatened Canadian industry.
“Cooperate with my moronically insane Net Zero and be rewarded. Otherwise you will be punished.”
Yes, he actually used that last word.
Charles, an Islamo-monarch, applauds wildly.
(Apologies if I rolled my eyes too loudly.)

And as an aside…
I fervently pray that President Trump will make any State visit to Britain contingent on the release from a nearly three year prison sentence handed down to Lucy Connolly, a mother now separated from her two year old (and a grieving mother for her son who died at 19 monthhs old) and wife of a husband who is suffering from cancer for the heinous crime of having emotionally tweeted her desperation at what her country has been turned into. Tweet was deleted a couple of hours after posting, but Berian Starmer must have his vengeance.
President Trump is aware…

About 10 years ago or so my neighbor had a British couple from Cambridge (I think) visit her and I was invited to meet them. They were in education. I was stunned when the wife proudly said that English was the minority language in her city. She was very proud of their “multiculturalism”.
As an American, as someone who for a long time was an Anglophile, I just can’t begin to understand why they don’t want to protect their heritage.
I’ve always been an Anglophile and spent the happiest years of my life there, Scarlett.
What has happened since we came back in 2006 is something I struggle with and cannot get my head around.
The collapse has been catastrophic and fast. The capitulation complete.
As for the couple you met, that the wife was in education is a big tell. The brainwashing has been intense and successful. Ten years ago? It would be interesting to know if her views have altered.
I doubt it.
If anything, more cemented in is my guess. Cambridge and Oxford Universal es are hotbeds of Marxism and politically correct propaganda/thinking.
Sorry…”thinking”.
Brain-washing
She was denied her rights after arrest and is being used as an example to scare the rest of us. Disgusting Judiciary and Govt.
She has also had her visitations cancelled.
If one could think up a crueller, more sadistic, inhumane punishment, I’m hard pressed to imagine what it would be.

The Tommy Robinson treatment…solitary.
I would put nothing past these subhuman monsters.
I was kind of confused between the guffaw and the eye roll? How do you really feel?

Well, Tex…I am losing my Southern reticence it seems. I figure at my age, I will be forgiven.
(I’d say these days between perfecting that skill and my world record in the Sitting High Jump that I am ready for the next Olympics.)
Will be spending 2 weeks in the middle of the UK (Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, York, Sunderland) starting next Monday. First time for me in Europe. Expecting it will be an adventure with many surprises.
We lived in Wales, about an hour from Manchester Airport. My husband grew up in Birkenhead just outside Liverpool.
All the areas you mention are much changed. Do not go with preconceived ideas about what you will see. I would be VERY interested to hear of your views and experiences when you return. I’d recommend a trip into Chester and the village all round. Are you driving yourself when you arrive? If so, remember which side of the road you should be on 😎 And this…it is illegal to pass on the left on their motorways…it’s called undertaking.
I wish you a safe journey, and I hope you will be able to take a day trip across the border into North Wales where there is some of the most beautiful scenery you could ever see.
Like Betsy, I would also be interested to hear about your trip.
A first hand report. Eyes on the ground 👍🏻
Thank you Betsy for sharing your experiences and good wishes. Nothing beats being there.
Not driving as I don’t trust my muscle memory to quickly keep to the left. So will travel by public transit.
Traveling for a funeral for a friend, so doubtful I will get to Wales this trip.
With my last name of Jones my aunt traced down and visited the 600 year old family home in Wales. I’m not much into that kind of ancestry thing. I’m an American and would not expect people waiting with “Welcome Home Steve!” at the Welsh border. 😂
Will write more of what I see there after I get back.
He is more Muslim than atheist in my opinion.
Can’t argue. All the evidence points in that direction.
I thought Canada was free from the British Monarchy. It will cost Canada more than they think.
Despite the graphic above where the voters are watching the GOP the GOP is not one bit scared of Trump, or the voters.
If the voters were engaged we would already have a 50 seat margin in the House after six election cycles since 2016.
There was quite a bit of voter fraud and census fraud. We lost 20 new seats in 2022 because of the fake census.
Add to that 4 senate seats in 2024 and at least 4 California house seats, plus numerous governorships like AZ., lost due to 1) election fraud and 2) the inept Lara Trump and the grifting RNC closing shop after Trump declared the winner not hanging around to fight the fraud. It was blatant in 2024 yet Lara Trump was more concerned about being on Fox talking, while the RNC started their campaign for donations for the 2026 election.
As long as mail in voting, voting machines and counting votes after election day are allowed the fraud will be baked into the system.

I think they are terrified. The genuine problem, probably world-wide, is CORRUPTION!!! Big surprise, I know. sarc off
These people are completely unprepared to deal with a real leader with vision and grit.
They’re a bunch of sniveling parasites clinging together to try and retain their position over those who really make the world go around. I have more respect for a plumber than I do for these people.
I’d like to see the Canadian truckers made whole before Trump talks to Canada again. Ya know everything contingent on truckers being rebanked, remonetized replacing trucks, and full apology from

That sucks!
Did he bring along his pretty portrait?
“If you want to see a Republican fight, start to threaten their financial status and suddenly all those spineless Republicans will attack the disruption with a ferocity that could fuel ten-thousand Dragon-X launches. If you doubt that truism, go back and look at the Republican support for President Obama weaponizing the IRS against the Tea Party. If you still doubt that truism, look around right now at how hard the Republicans are fighting to retain the Ukraine laundry operation.
There is no such thing as a “Republican ideology,” it is always about the money.”
Well, gee, @Sundance, that’s a pretty tough opinion. I’d at least give some of the RINO’s credit for being ideologically LEFTISTS in red-elephant suits. The entire GOP can’t ALL be just corrupt, rent-seeking politicians?! There’s gotta be a few with Che Guevara posters hiding behind their office portrait’s of Washington and Lincoln, right?
Anyhow, this is an excellent if horrific summation. I’ve consistently said that the main reason the Democrat party prospers on policy, tearing America towards complete, authoritarian socialism (i.e. Marxism, Fascism, Maoist Marxism, etc.) is the lack of a “loyal opposition”. Even when the GOP apparently runs both the Legislature and Executive branch, the just can’t seem to make progress on ANY commitments that make during election runs. Remember those solemn promises to “repeal Obamacare”?
It’s because “The Republicans” ™ aren’t actually republican. They care about money, power, and ego, with American serfs are their children’s blood (re: Memorial day) being near the bottom of their list. Now, that’s just a nasty thing to say about a “good” group of people “trying their hardest” for the American people. Really? Look at the budget “fight”. The fight is the GOP House and Senate trying to out-Biden the Democrats, into taking America into insolvency, a literally worthless dollar, and eventual, certain, loss of the republic. Do they care? Does Rand Paul actually care? Ron Johnson? Why would GOP politicians not CUT EVERYTHING but social security and Medicaid (programs SEPARATELY funded by American workers via confiscatory payroll taxes) to the bone, to at the very least, balance the budget spending with revenue? Why would the GOP fight Trump’s D.O.G.E effort (i.e. similar to their fight against the Tea Party movement), rather than LEVERAGING IT to cut the Federal budget?
I thought Trump remaining GOP was a serious mistake, after the GOP shafted him in the 2020 stolen election, after GOP politicians quickly denounced him for the faked “J6 insurrection”, after GOP politicians cheered on Garlands unconstitutional attack and imprisonment of GOP American citizens because of “MAGA”. I still do. The uniparty must die, for American freedom to survive. What rises in it’s stead had better be something true to the US Constitution, or our children and grandchildren will end up speaking Chinese and worshiping busts of Mao Zedong, or maybe Allah.
Do two declining nations equal a positive?
I agree – how can the very troubled UK that is eating itself with the welcomed invasion and the net zero insanity really be of any long lasting assistance the hobbled and declined Canada? Meanwhile Trump is positioning the USA to blast off.
I’m not totally getting why the unitary would be against Trump for cutting the apron strings between the USA and the UK.
Charles is making sure his family are guaranteed their cut first no matter what happens to the Canadian economy- he’s following the money.
Hmmm …. Sounds like a question for Erwin Schrodinger.
Thanks Rand Paul for being the tip of the spear trying to kill off what’s left of the USA
I greatly admire President Trump for his ability to keep a straight face. Seriously.
The daily disappointment of facing the fact that Republicans only care about their own status and wealth, while Americans are screaming to bring industry back to the states. They sold us down the river, and we are fighting to paddle back upstream to regain our footing of a free country where anything is possible.
One if by Rolls Royce, two if by Airbus.
And the Bentley is parked on the tarmac.
King Charles who bowed down to Islam at Easter….King Charles, the epitome of globalist challenge to the free world; is an empty suit. He is not a statesman, he’s a used car salesman selling green energy rainbows to the world’s last remaining nation states. Canada is a failed state, as Sundance has aptly described it. It will fail even more with institution of the green new deal and the economic privation that will result. Canadians will one day be sorry they reacted angrily towards Trump who was indeed offering them a lifeline. Now they are entering the final stage of Agenda 2030: you will own nothing and you won’t be happy.
Carney’s 50 IQ points smarter than Chuck. No one, literally no one, cares about a show of support by Canada’s King. Now if Meghan Markle were to appear, that would be a show.
Makes the average 25.
The one thing Trump has done is expose the fact that the USA doesn’t have friends. Our alliances are based on one-way economic and military arrangements that favor enemies and supposed allies. Everyone should take notice and remember heading into the future
I think Trump is following the position of Nineteenth Century British Prime Minister Lord Palmerston:
“Therefore I say that it is a narrow policy to suppose that this country or that is to be marked out as an eternal ally or the perpetual enemy…We have no eternal allies or we have no perpetual enemies. Our interests are eternal and perpetual, and it is those interests that it is our duty to follow.”
Trump is looking after United States’ eternal and perpetual national interest. Long-term allies are never permanent allies.
Especially the ones that wage war on you or demand you wage war for them.
If only we had politicians of that calibre in the UK today. Our State institutions have been hollowed out by membership in the EU. We now have corrupt, incompetent people of mediocre intelligence pretending to govern in our interest while they sell our Union out like Judas.
The sad thing I realised is that the generosity, economic and military power of the USA is envied and despised in equal measure by the European and UK elites. All done with a sneering moral superiority that is unwarranted.
What makes you think the British Monarcy was ever our actual allies?
Read an article a couple days ago saying there is worry Chuck will say something to offend Trump and make matters worse. But it also said the monarch is expected on these kinds of occasions to support the current government’s policies (that is, Carney’s policies). Not a full-throated endorsement (that would be too openly political), but to clearly be seen standing behind the current government. Also, no British monarch has done this in Canada since a young QE2 way back in 1957, so it is in no way an expectation that Chuck has to show up at this time in Canada to say anything. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude he wants to show up and he wants to say something that might offend Trump. How very nice of him.
If accounts are correct, Chuck won’t be around much longer. Offending Trump might work out to be his greatest lifetime achievement. And I think William will be the last King of England. Once the new immigrant masses become the majority in the UK, there won’t be any need for a Christian “Defender of the Faith”. We know darned well neither Chuck or William will ever do anything to offend the rising majority in the UK. They will pick their own defender of their faith and it won’t be a Windsor.
If the Holders of the Crown couldn’t control the hordes they would not have been admitted.
They are usefully destructive, but always meant to be mastered.
How many troops can Canada provide to the UK’s war effort against Russia?
Both of them!
68,000 active personnel
27,000 reserve personnel
Our northern neighbors are unserious when it comes to protection of the continent. It all falls on big brother USA.
How many little Canadian boys will travel back to merrie olde England with King Chuck?
I’m Canadian and I want President Trump to steamroll Canada. There is nothing good or beautiful about our Commie Country. We need our government(s) at all levels, crushed. There is so much tyranny going on here it is sickening. From censorship, to terror marches every weekend, cops doing nothing about these crowds of terrorist supporting thugs but they arrest the lone Jewish reporter covering the “protest”.
Local governments who should have the least power over us, are the worst offenders. They sick their bylaw goons on the public and harass anyone who disagrees with any policy.
Everything is over regulated just as bad or worse than California.
There is no hope in Canada other than hoping that Alberta says “FU” to the communist socialist policies and becomes a sovereign country.
I had the exact same reaction from a couple of Canadian relatives (Albertans). Right after Carney was elected they said “I hope Trump sticks it to us”. That was the exact sentiment. They’re sick of globalism destroying their country.
Can President Trump please steam roll the UK too. Sick of the terror marches every weekend and the politicians and police posing a greater threat to law abiding citizens than the criminals.
The not for sale Snow Messicans are the same leeches that want free protection from a golden dome financed by US taxpayers.
It’s too late. Islamists & communists are already inside the wire & they’re intent on more.
What some in the global elite have failed to understand (EU), national security hinges on AI.
AI hinges on energy.
The EU energy policy is suicidal – and must be changed.
Pity they banned elections in Europe.
Interesting point.
The elites in UK and EU are working hard to destroy any economic decisions that will make the USA a more prosperous, freer country. Watch for the machinations to get the USA committed to more war. It’s their favourite strategic tool.
Anyone watching from the outside could draw the exactly WRONG conclusions from all this. The fussing and arguing and accusations and retributions and all the mess could be completely misinterpreted, and likely WILL be. In the end, come at any of us, and those on the outside will find that The West rapidly closes ranks to repel attacks from the outside. Doubt that at your peril.
Bring it on. whine really loud, rinos. Make it even easier to see who needs to go next year.
The UK is trying to position itself as a stabilizing force for Canada in the face of Trump’s trade offensive. But beneath the surface, both countries are structurally weak, economically exposed, and increasingly dependent on symbolism over substance.
The 12-year fishing rights concession Keir Starmer just handed the EU is a perfect example. Post-Brexit, Britain had the leverage to renegotiate access annually. Instead, Starmer gave away sovereignty for political convenience. This isn’t partnership—it’s capitulation. Britain is back to being a rule-taker, not a rule-maker.
Look deeper and the picture gets worse. The UK’s industrial base is hollow, inflation is sticky, public debt is rising, and its economy leans heavily on financial services tied to Wall Street. It needs access to U.S. markets, U.S. energy, and U.S. defense guarantees. It cannot backstop Canada because it can’t even stabilize itself.
Canada, for its part, has no heavy manufacturing base and imports most of its industrial equipment. Its economy is shaped by green ideology and foreign dependency. Trump sees that clearly—and he’s prepared to dissolve USMCA and cut bilateral deals that reassert American leverage.
So what’s left? Optics. Pageantry. King Charles in Ottawa. Joint messaging. But at its core, it’s two faltering allies leaning on each other like drunks trying to leave a bar after last call. They’re staggering, propping each other up with reputation and ritual, hoping no one notices how bad things actually are.
And outside the door, Trump is waiting with the engine running, ready to settle the bill.
Don’t underestimate the British establishment’s ability to deceive, manipulate and extract resources from the USA.
This visit is nothing more than to make both Charles and Carney look like something other than worthless meat puppets.
Oh, yes, we can trust the Brits and should listen to them tell us how to conduct national policy.
Starmer just signed the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean over to Mauritius, which claimed sovereignty under international law. The International Court of Justice issued a ruling that the islands belong to Mauritius.
The Chagos include the Diego Garcia US-UK airbase. The UK had forcibly displaced the Chagos Islanders in the 1960s to build this base when Mauritius was a British colony.
Britain is to lease Diego Garcia back under a 99-year lease. The British people were told the rent would be about $3.2 billion. It now appears that the real amount could be closer to $30 billion.
But the more concerning provisions in the deal are in the details. One clause made public after the signing states that the UK will inform Mauritius of any military operations at Diego Garcia. Mauritius currently has a left-wing government that is aligning with China.

Starmer invokes Jimmy Carter
Lol the “chagos islanders” were just the slaves/workers england brought in themselves to develop the islands
Oh, Sugar, Honey, Iced Tea!!
At no time did the Chagos ever belong to Mauritius which makes the decision even more egregious.
The U.K. is in worse shape financially than Canada. The EU is not far behind both. If they form a coalition to counter Trump’s tariffs. Good luck with that…or as they say around these parts…that dog won’t hunt. It’s a lose/lose situation.
To me, the ultimate “Big ugly” in the U.S. is the final cleaving between the MAGA base, and the Republicon leadership of the GOP.
Internationally, its about open, albeit unconventional warfare between the Globullusts and the Nationalists.
Its all coming to a head, with Ursala von snootface urgently requesting a weeks delay in 50% tariffs on all EU products, PDJT is in the perfect position to demand, and get major conxcessions out of the EU, such as for it to stop egging on Zalenski to continue making unreasonable demands, as a way to scuttle any peace agreement.
If you have never seen Craig Ferguson imitate Prince Charles it is a hoot.
When I saw his official coronation picture, all I could think of was “Burger King.”
Very clown like for sure
He’s a Ferengi!
It’s been around 10 years since the last Royal tour of Canada. If I were him and the cancer struggles he’s having, I’d be annoyed that Canada has so screwed up that they need me to come and help straighten it out. Also the anti-Royal family feelings in Canada are rising and some don’t like to be reminded of it.
It’s a weird situation with Pres. Trump, he respects the British Royal family, but also doesn’t bow down to them. So it will be interesting
As President Trump moves his economic bulwark into place and prepares his tariff salvo, he really hasn’t to do much, but watch as Clown Carney drives Canadian industry and society further into the ground. And Charles? He will be but a footnote.
Canada isn’t for sale? Who said we wanted to buy it? And where will Canada go when it collapses economically? It will go away. And something will replace it.
You will be buying from China who owns it now1
“king” charles …yaaaaaaawn.
Sundance is 100% right about republicans and money. Its already happening with the democrats. Watch. The fight is going to expose them all. The grift is real. Cut off their money, watch their “rage”.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 There is nothing new under the sun.
This is our Exodus
Did anyone tell the good “King” that they are 0-1, and 1. In wars with the US?
0-2, if you count the War of 1812.
The War of 1812’s treaty made each side the winner.
“Hey let’s get together and rip-off the United States.” Sorry boys, the gravy train is over, got that, Over . . you won’t need the money . . you’ll need Rubbles in a couple years anyway.
By 2050 the whole world will be using the CCP currency. Including the USA.
Please realize that is what the international banks, Fortune 500 multinational corporations, Wall Street, and both the GOP and Democrats want. Can you say vassal state unable to manufacture anything? The entire western world will be completely dependent on China.
Interesting that you accuse me of being Canadian when my family was here in the mid 1600s in both Jamestown and Plymouth Rock. I’m related to a sizeable portion of US presidents and frontiersmen dating back that far.
Tell that to Pakenham and 1000 or so inbred brits who Andrew Jackson, Jean Lafitte, and the hillbillies, Cajuns, and free blacks under their command killed during the Battle of New Orleans.
British royalty is 0-2 against American skanks.
Wallis Simpson and Megan Markle wore/wear the stern mistress boots in those marriages.
Charles the Inbred, whose head looks like a ’54 Ford with both doors open, is not long for this world anyway. At least people liked his first wife, even if he didn’t. His current wife, even as a younger woman, looked like she chased too many parked cars.
You mean a battle that was fought after the treaty was signed and ultimately decided nothing? As I said according to the Treaty of Ghent both sides won the war. You are free to argue against the primary source documentation which is the historical record.
The Brits never invaded America again. They didn’t get anything of value from us.
Brit Navy scum stopped kidnapping our men to serve in their perverted navy.
The paper they signed at Ghent was superseded in a practical way by Jackson, Lafitte, and their men kicking the Brits in the crotch at New Orleans.
Because of the war, we then were able to define our border with Canada, and limit the amount of aid they could give Native tribes to attack our people. We sent settlers out to the Pacific Northwest in the 1840s to secure the rest of the northern border from the Brits. John Sutter then obtained the Russians’ cannon and powder at Fort Ross and other strong points to keep the British at bay from California, and to aid in fighting the Mexicans.
Jackson and Polk, meanwhile, kept British influence out of Texas.
Zachary Taylor had a railroad built across Panama to ease travel times to California, and he negotiated treaties to keep the Brits from building a canal in central America.
Teddy Roosevelt used a little gunboat diplomacy to back off the Canadians from the Alaska Panhandle. He then finished the job by starting the Panama Canal as an American project.
What a treaty says and what the practical results are in a war are often two different things.
The Union won the Civil War, but Southerners continued to abuse blacks.
And this has what to do with my statement? Nothing so you had to move the goal posts which had nothing to do with the actual treaty itself.
Again the Battle of New Orleans had no effect on the Treaty since it was already signed by the time the battle took place.
As for the rest of your selective history I’m not going to reply to it.
The count is beaten twice and and saved their ass twice.
I don’t think they got any meat to eat until 1955. No wonder they are not manly men.
