Gut reaction. People are tired of the talking.
What I am watching is a stronger SOS in Rubio. I am still cautiously optimistic this continues but it is refreshing to see him supporting the president, as he should and not putting up with all the mainstream BS.
Putin very clearly spelled out what Russia had to have with security guarantees and dealing with root causes at the Munich conference in 2007. That has not changed . There have been many hostile actions by the USA/NATO/CIA/State Dept, etc over the following years.There is no amount of face to face with Trump or anybody else that negates those core issues. Why does NATO need the biggest base ever in Romania?It’s not to deliver Meals on Wheels. Those other 800 bases around the world,many aimed at Russia.The realities on the ground are that NATO is losing the war.Its not the Ukraine vs Russia war.It never was. Ukraine has been a de facto member of NATO for 20? years.Russia has the advantage in everything,it has no trade with the USA,it has no national debt.The world has 3 major powers,USA,Russia,China,Kiss the hegemony ass goodbye.The only option the USA has left is to buy time with lies ,go nuclear,or walk away.Nobody in their right mind will give away the advantage they have gained after sacrificing over 100K of their Russian citizens.Its obvious that the deep state and the Ukraine political class don’t give a shit about the 1.3 million Ukrraine dead,and maybe double that number in wounded.Can Trump ditch the lost ”busness”of Ukraine.He ditched Trump University,Trump Vodka,Trump steaks.If Trump thinks that Russia is losing or stalemated or struggling, than he is getting bad advise.He has a totally inexperienced deluded ”military”adviser in Kellogg who earned an M.S. in international affairs later went on to study senior-level management and diplomacy.That is not a military education,and there is no general staff level experience in war fighting. Remember when Trump wanted U.S.troops out of Syria and the military command ignored him. Or the time Trump ordered missile hits on Syria because Ivanka cried after hearing about the Syrian government’s ”gas attack”.There was no gas used by the Syrian government. Trump can’t know everything.His advisers can mislead him.
It strikes me that Rubio is fed up with that snake Zelensky who keeps pulling a Lucy and Charlie Brown football on Rubio.
As to the UAE visit. Steven Miller is clearly well liked by the Emir and Trump was gushing about him. What a great asset he is to the administration. What a beautiful setting.
