President Trump was asked about his meeting with Syria’s President Ahmad al-Sharaa. Trump told reporters he found the country’s new leader to be “very good,” adding that he’s a “young, attractive guy.” “He’s got a real shot at pulling it together. I spoke with President Erdogan, who I’m very friendly with. He feels he’s got a shot of doing a good job. It’s a torn-up country,” Trump added.
President Trump said that he thought that Syria would join the Abraham Accords after Syria “gets themselves straightened out,” but he added that the nation has “a lot of work to do.” When asked whether he’d consulted Israel before lifting the sanctions on Syria, President Trump said his administration simply told Israel they would do it. “The reason I did it is because I spoke with the President Erdogan and I spoke to Mohammed, as you know, and they thought it was very important to do, it gives … them a much better chance of survival as a country,” Trump said. President Trump also said that Russia President Putin wanted Trump to attend the talks in Turkey, though Trump remained noncommittal on attending, citing his schedule and foreign trip obligations. “He would like me to be there, and that’s a possibility. If we could end the war, I’d be thinking about that,” Trump said.

You cannot negotiate with Islamist terrorists. If terrorist could solve problems by discussing them, they wouldn’t be terrorists. Furthermore Islam has its own built in problems re: negotiation. Any Muslim can lie as long as it is in the service of jihad. Muslims therefore do not have to honor any promises, as long as it is in the service of jihad against infidels.
We all know the Iranians have been lying to Americans for decades. Americans are mistaken to believe that negotiation with Muslim terrorists like the Iranians will produce anything but the terrorists laughing at Americans for being duped.
In this administration, Trump has changed tactics/policies in the Middle East. In the first administration he appeared to be the greatest friend to Israel they ever had in an American president. We may have been mistaken by not reading the fine print of the Abraham Accords. Francisco Gil-White, a historian, has substantiated an argument that the reason we see Trump differently from the way he was in the first administration is that we have an incorrect model, and he proposes a correct model. A correct model shows that Trump has been pro-jihadi from the beginning. At first I just didn’t believe this was true, but after the 4th article on Trump I am beginning to see his point.

In negotiating with the Houthis, for example, Trump thought he had a “deal” with them not to attack ships that were American. Trump left Israel completely out of this “deal.” That’s okay Israel will handle the Houthis on their own. The problem is it shows that Trump currently is not interested in the security of the state of Israel. He’s interested in making deals. Not only that, but the Houthis started attacking American ships after this “deal” was made, proving that negotiating with terrorists is a fool’s errand.
Trump is negotiating with the Iranians after running in 2016 on how foolish it was for Obama to negotiate with the Iranians and on getting the US out of the deal. I took that to mean Trump understood that it was foolish to negotiate with the Iranians or any terrorists. Now I think he actually meant, “I can make a better deal than Obama can.” This is very troubling. He is taking the same tack on the Middle East as Obama, Biden, and all previous presidents since Carter, which has been to empower Iran at the expense of Israel and the nations of the Middle East that all feel threatened by Iranian nukes. It has been covert US policy in the Middle East to empower the Nazis in Iran at the expense of Israel, which led to October 7th. Now Trump is returning to those policies. Americans by and large are just aware of the OVERT policy, which is to talk a lot about how the relationship with Israel is strong. I am willing to bet all of you here remember all the Presidents during your lifetime saying that the US-Israel relationship was as strong as ever.
Trump has lifted the sanctions on Syria when Erdogan has supported and enabled the terrorist group which is a mix of ISIS and al Qaeda. Erdogan has spoken publicly of his desire to take over the Temple Mount and declare an Ottoman caliphate throughout the Middle East. Now that Turkey has enabled the terrorists to take over Syria, he has a direct line to Israel. These terrorists have been committing genocide against their own population, and Trump decides that because the terrorist leader wears a suit and tie,, he can be negotiated with. Trump thinks Al Jolani will keep his promises. That’s a pro-jihadist position. Trump isn’t foolish, he’s very smart. He knows what he is doing “negotiating” with people who do not keep their promises, he’s essentially pretending for the sake of Americans, that he is actually expecting the ISIS terrorist in a suit who runs Syria to honor his promises, when Trump knows he won’t. Trump has a fall-guy in Witkoff, so when things go south Americans will blame Witkoff and not Trump. But Trump is not dumb. He knows exactly what he wants Witkoff to do: negotiate with Hamas using Qatar as the mediator.
Qatar is a slave state (95% of its people are enslaved). It sends billions of dollars to universities in the US to teach anti-Zionism, to teach our next generation to hate Israel, and to normalize hatred of Jews. Qatar just gave a couple of billion dollars to France, and following this gift, Macron came out and stated that Israel must agree to a two state solution. The TSS is as dead as a doornail. Macron knows this, but he wants to say, “Thank You” to Qatar by threatening and criticizing Israel.
What we are seeing is Trump connecting with Muslim leaders (like Obama did) some of which are intending to destroy Israel, so Trump seems to be letting Israel know that his policy is going to be making deals with many of the terrorists who have been busy trying to destroy Israel, such as Iran, the Houthis, Qatar and UAE.
