Celebrating a close and mutually beneficial relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, President Trump delivers remarks to an audience of both American and Saudi business leaders. WATCH:
WHITE HOUSE – Today in Saudi Arabia, President Donald J. Trump announced Saudi Arabia’s $600-billion commitment to invest in the United States, building economic ties that will endure for generations to come. The first deals under the announcement strengthen our energy security, defense industry, technology leadership, and access to global infrastructure and critical minerals.
- The deals celebrated today are historic and transformative for both countries and represent a new golden era of partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia.
- From day one, President Trump’s America First Trade and Investment Policy has put the American economy, the American worker, and our national security first.
- The following represent just a few of the many transformative deals secured in Saudi Arabia:
- Saudi Arabian DataVolt is moving forward with plans to invest $20 billion in AI data centers and energy infrastructure in the United States.
- Google, DataVolt, Oracle, Salesforce, AMD, and Uber are committing to invest $80 billion in cutting-edge transformative technologies in both countries.
- Iconic American companies including Hill International, Jacobs, Parsons, and AECOM are building key infrastructure projects like King Salman International Airport, King Salman Park, The Vault, Qiddiya City, and much more totaling $2 billion in U.S. services exports.
- Additional major exports include GE Vernova’s gas turbines and energy solutions totaling $14.2 billion and Boeing 737-8 passenger aircraft for AviLease totaling $4.8 billion.
- In the healthcare sector, Shamekh IV Solutions, LLC will be investing $5.8 billion, including a plant in Michigan to launch a high-capacity IV fluid facility.
- Investment partnerships include several sector-specific funds with a strong emphasis on U.S. deployment—such as the $5 billion Energy Investment Fund, the $5 billion New Era Aerospace and Defense Technology Fund, and the $4 billion Enfield Sports Global Sports Fund—each channeling substantial capital into American industries, driving innovation, and creating high-quality jobs across the United States.
- Underscoring our commitment to strengthening our defense and security partnership, the United States and Saudi Arabia signed the largest defense sales agreement in history—nearly $142 billion, providing Saudi Arabia with state-of-the-art warfighting equipment and services from over a dozen U.S. defense firms.
- The sales that we intend to complete fall into five broad categories: (1) air force advancement and space capabilities, (2) air and missile defense, (3) maritime and coastal security, (4) border security and land forces modernization, and (5) information and communication systems upgrades.
- The package also includes extensive training and support to build the capacity of the Saudi armed forces, including enhancement of Saudi service academies and military medical services.
- This deal represents a significant investment in Saudi Arabia’s defense and regional security, built on American systems and training.
- The United States and Saudi Arabia celebrate these and many other deals today as a result of the growing momentum of the last four months. The total package has quickly built to more than $600 billion–the largest set of commercial agreements on record between the two countries.
UNLOCKING NEW OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH DEEPER ALLIANCES: The strategic partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia has grown increasingly robust over the past eight decades since the meeting between King Abdulaziz Al Saud and President Franklin D. Roosevelt on board the USS Quincy, the 80th anniversary of which was celebrated earlier this year.
- Saudi Arabia is one of the United States’ largest trading partners in the Middle East.
- Saudi direct investment in the United States totaled $9.5 billion in 2023, focused on the transportation, real estate, and automotive sectors.
- In 2024, U.S.-Saudi Arabia goods trade totaled $25.9 billion, with U.S. exports at $13.2 billion, imports at $12.7 billion, and a trade surplus in goods of $443 million.
- The United States and Saudi Arabia share a commitment to deeper economic integration, underscoring the Kingdom’s pledge of expanding cooperation in critical sectors such as health, energy, and science.
- The U.S. Department of Energy and the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have concluded an agreement for cooperation in the field of energy. This agreement builds upon their strong existing relationship; it will focus collaboration on examining the potential for innovation, development, financing, and deployment of energy infrastructure.
- The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Department of Energy of the United States of America have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to collaborate on mining and mineral resources. The agreement contributes to economic development and the diversification and resilience of critical mineral supply chains.
- NASA and the Saudi Space Agency have signed an agreement for a CubeSat to fly on NASA’s Artemis II test flight. Saudi Arabia’s CubeSat will measure aspects of space weather at a range of distances from Earth and deploy in high Earth orbit from a spacecraft adapter on the Space Launch System rocket after the Orion spacecraft is safely flying on its own with its crew of four astronauts.
- The United States and Saudi Arabia recently agreed to modernize the Air Transport Agreement to allow U.S. airlines to carry cargo between Saudi Arabia and third countries without needing to stop in the United States, an important right for cargo hub operations. Saudi carriers will have the same rights to serve the United States.
- The United States and Saudi Arabia further underscored their commitment to deeper cultural, educational, and scientific partnerships through the signing of agreements between the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Asian Art and the Royal Commission for AlUla on collaborative research and an exhibition focused on artifacts from ancient Dadan in AlUla, and between the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and the Royal Commission for AlUla to support the conservation of the endangered Arabian leopard through creation of a dedicated exhibit in Washington, D.C.
- Saudi Arabia remains our largest Foreign Military Sales partner with active cases valued at more than $129 billion.
- Our defense relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is stronger than ever under President Trump’s leadership, and the package signed today, the largest defense cooperation deal in U.S. history, is a clear demonstration of our commitment to strengthening our partnership.
- The agreement opens the door for expanded U.S. defense industry participation and long-term sustainment partnerships with Saudi entities.
- The deepening United States-Saudi Arabia partnership reflects a joint vision for long-term prosperity and employment opportunities in both nations.
BUILDING ON A RECORD OF WINNING AT HOME AND ABROAD: President Trump is delivering on his promise to Make America Great Again by catalyzing investment and negotiating fair trade deals to accelerate American employment and prosperity.
- President Trump is the dealmaker in chief, and he has once again secured a historic deal that strengthens America’s economic dominance and global influence.
- This comes just one week after President Trump announced a U.S.-UK trade agreement that levels the playing field, creates jobs, and opens market access with the United Kingdom.
- Leading up to this historic deal, President Trump had already secured trillions in U.S.-based investments, setting the stage for a new era of American prosperity.
- The $600 billion in Saudi investment in the United States builds on President Trump’s record in 2017 of securing billions in commercial deals and agreements with Saudi Arabia for the defense, energy, technology, and infrastructure sectors.

Are Christian Churches allowed to exist in that country?
Is Christianity allowed to exist in China?
Christianity is persecuted, of course, because the only religion the Communists want in China is Communism!
Did that make a difference to the thousands of American companies sending our manufacturing to oppressive, atheist Communists?
Apparently not!
For them, Money was their religion!
Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Thought, and all the other basic freedoms denied in China did not matter to Apple or Wal-Mart or G.M. or the Shoe Industry or the Clothing Industry or any of the thousands of others sending our jobs there!
“The Bottom Line” is their mantra!
We might hope that – with investment going the other way in this case – our ideas on basic freedom might exfiltrate to Saudi Arabia.
However, the only religion the Saudis want in Saudi Arabia is Islam. Will investment deals change that?
I am skeptical.
The Saudis don’t allow churches. But, don’t restrict private Christian worship services in homes, as well as at ARAMCO Headquarters.
One baby step for now.
And I will bet dollars that those “Christians” practising in their homes also pay the jizya to the Saudis.
Jizya
Jizya, or jizyah, is a type of taxation historically levied on non-Muslim subjects of a state governed by Islamic law. The Quran and hadiths mention jizya without specifying its rate or amount, and the application of jizya varied in the course of Islamic history. However, scholars largely agree that early Muslim rulers adapted some of the existing systems of taxation and modified them according to Islamic religious law. Wikipedia
“And I will bet dollars that those “Christians” practising in their homes also pay the jizya to the Saudis.”
Good ahead and bet!
You’d lose that bet.
Might want to turn off whatever neocon source it is that is pumping out the nonsense about things which they know not.
No Islamic nation has had a tax on non-believers since the mid-1800s.
Sara, please start by realizing there are very few known Christians in Saudi Arabia. They are too few to get a good measure. Estimates are around 1 million. They are dispersed among the populace and do not live in separate identifiable communities. Many of the higher functioning foreign employees (MD’s, engineers, etc.) wouldn’t come to work for the Saudi’s if they attempted the traditional Jizyah tax.
How much?
His goal is: A. World Peace
B. Prosperity for the U.S. citizens
I think he’s doing a damn good job!
Its an Islamic country, allow it to have its faith!
No. It is an Islamic country. as we both know. and they are faithful to their false religion.
No disrespect to you, but I think taking the time to call religions other than your own false is the kind of communication President Trump wants to change.
He specifically pointed out the Saudies have grown their country without the help of foreign intervention (the globalists). He honored their culture as a culture that doesn’t need direction or authority from western elites.
That doesn’t mean he is advocating that we adopt differences. For example President Trump doesn’t want to become a Muslim or a Saudis citizen. He is saying countries can respect other countries and their abilities to forge their own paths. He is saying this is a better way for countries to live together.
We are America first for our country, but we can also have productive and friendly relationships with other countries. President Trump wants us and everyone else to be successful.
President Trump’s philosophy is basically live and let live. Just as we don’t want to hear from Muslims that Christianity is false, we don’t need to go out of our way to comment on other religions.
Thank You.
Make Trade, Not War.
Apologies for Saudies instead of Saudis. It’s true you learn something every day!
The thing is that Islam is a false religion and Christianity is more than a religion, it is a relationship with our risen Lord Jesus Christ.
Actually there are lots of good Christians. 😉
Peace be with you.
Please stop. Thank you.
Wow. Just wow. Ever *read* how Islam got started? Ever *read* who Mohammed was and what he *did* to the Jews that welcomed him after he was booted out of his own city?
Ever SEE the happy moslems of England chanting “Death to England” and “Islam will rule the world”? Ever SEE any muslim beheading vids? Ever SEE peaceful moslems throwing homosexuals off roofs? Ever SEE those lovable islamacists buring people alive in cages? Ever SEE the Christmas carnage in Germany as faithful muslims drove their vehicles into crowds of evil Christians shopping in Christmas villages to celebrate the birth of the one and ONLY TRUE GOD, Jesus, the Nazarine? Ever SEE any of the many vids taken by moslem invaders of Israel last October, as they shot and killed innocent Jewish children, women, and men?
Islam is a death cult for all who aren’t moslem. Even the ‘peaceful’ moslems believe shari’a law should supplant and succeed all other laws on earth. Google “Muslim terror in England”.
Yes, some people have done horrible things in the name of Islam. It sounds like you think I’m condoning that. I’m not.
I’m in favor of what President Trump is doing, which is trying to make the world safer for everyone.
Thank you. PDJT just made the most important presidential speech in decades on the world stage, repudiating repudiated decades of failed interventionist U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. Those clips of the entire speech on X
Totally agree with you and was so happy to hear it. Nothing is perfect, but PDJT is recognizing some of the most agreious wrongs. I liked the way he did it, by saying the Saudis had made great progress on their own. He made it positive and recognized what the Saudis have accomplished but still drove the point about previous US behavior.
As President Trump said:
“It’s crucial for the wider world to know this great transformation has not come from Western interventionists…giving you lectures on how to live and how to govern your own affairs.”
They have their own culture. They have their own religion. They are developing in their own way.
They have extremists who sound exactly like other religious extremists–expressing hate for other religions.
But President Trump, and the current Saudi ruler have mutual respect for each other’s culture and situation.
This.
Praying that the USA’s number 1 export is the idea of following Jesus.

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
3
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
4
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5
who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 103:2-5

Lord may the Lord revive our hearts toward HIM as we are encouraged by the joy of new believers of all tribes and nations.
Leave other cultures alone, lest your own be torn asunder!
“Trump announces that the US will DROP sanctions against Syria “to give them a chance at greatness.”
The entire ballroom gives him a standing ovation.”…..
I would have been sitting down, but, I care about the slaughter of Christians in Syria.
There is only one village left in the Holy Land that remains all-Christian and is populated by the descendants of converts from the time of the Holy Apostles.
Praying for the martyred Christians recently murdered in Syria. The world and the Christian world seemed not to care. Just crickets. However, they are of the most high in the realms that matter.
Syria is another CIA-installed Terrorist Regime, hurried in just before PDT could stop them.
He should have done it when Assad was there.
Removing sanctions on Syria is a big mistake … it’s a jihadist regime putting on a warm and fuzzy show. Their regime has slaughtered thousands of religious minorities. Peace will come to the region when EVERY Hamas is either liquidated, imprisoned or permanently exiled and Gaza is 100% demilitarized. Build a Trump Tower in TelAviv, not Damascus.
Dems Are freaking out. I think they are upset about Trump’s successes.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES: Trump takes a blow torch to the neocons and interventionists while speaking to the Saudis. This is a VICTORY speech over globalism.
“It’s crucial for the wider world to know this great transformation has not come from Western interventionists, or flying people in beautiful planes giving you lectures on how to live and how to govern your own affairs.”
“In the end, the so-called nation builders wrecked far more nations than they built and the interventionalists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves.”

“In the end, the so-called nation builders wrecked far more nations than they built and the interventionalists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves.”
And none more so than the United States of America.
People forget that all of the original infrastructure there was built by Americans. We were partners until Roosevelt died and Truman’s alignment/foreign policy destroyed all of that. Trump is doing very good work. Go POTUS!
Think about this.
A foreign country celebrates our President on stage with God Bless the USA.
MAGA salutes them and says ,”Thank you.”
Most of the leaders in our own country want him out of office or dead.
It brought tears of joy to my eyes to see the respect the Saudis have for our great President Trump and sadness for the sickness in our own government.
Here is a question that needs a response ASAP in light of the trillion dollar investment by the Saudis.
Does this Saudi investment come with special visa priviledges to bring their Saudi, sharia abiding muslimes to America to get immediate residency status followed by expedited citizenship thru the HB5 Visa ???? This should be of high priority to Americans considering the current Islamic take over/expansion going on in Texas and other parts of America. We already see the damage in Congress with the jihadas that are there.
Isn’t this how we got the Indian 90 ft Monkey God Statue as well, somewhere near Houston?
A ‘Trump Card Visa’ Is Already Showing Up in Immigration Forms
Donald Trump has proposed launching a “gold card” program offering US residency for $5 million. Elon Musk’s DOGE has begun rolling out the technology to enable it.

Living in Texas this worries me also. Would really like perspective from Sundance on this.
So, you prefer the illegal, unvetted background immigrants that we now have that cost us Billions, to a legal controlled system that would be well vetted with self-supporting immigrants paying 5 million each?
Since I don’t trust our government, including all the politicians and bureaucrats, I’m not going to pretend that there are no dangers and potentially negative consequences to an influx of foreigners with intentions that are not pure.
Immigrants Assets Contribution is nothing new ..
Undocumented immigrants in the U.S. can and do pay taxes, even if they do not have a Social Security Number. They can obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to file tax returns. Undocumented immigrants paid nearly $97 billion in federal, state, and local taxes in 2022, including payments for federal income tax and federal social insurance such as Social Security, Medicare, and Unemployment Insurance.
For immigrants who own physical assets, such as real estate or businesses, they may also pay property taxes and other business-related taxes. Immigrants more likely to start businesses than native-born Americans, contributing to job creation and economic growth. They may face challenges in accessing traditional business loans due to lack of collateral or institutional knowledge about the process for securing loans from banks in the United States.
Immigrants can also apply for the EB-5 immigrant visa category, which requires foreign investors to invest $1 million in a commercial enterprise or $800,000 if the commercial business is in a rural area, and create at least 10 jobs that employ U.S. workers.
The program helps foreign investors seeking to invest in companies or other investments in the United States with a pathway to permanent residency. However, this program may not be suitable for immigrant business owners looking to start smaller businesses such as storefronts or franchises.
In summary, immigrants to the U.S. contribute to the economy through tax payments and business creation, even if they face certain challenges in accessing traditional financial resources.

President Trump Just Reset the Global Order During Historic Address in Riyadh
https://overtonnews.substack.com/p/president-trump-just-reset-the-global
Trump bows to no man. Unlike his predecessors. And for that they respect him. Unlike his predecessors.
Obunga tried to give them the secret handshake- I’m really one of you routine-in his sniveling, ingratiating manner-but they sussed him out for the phoney and weak, empty suit he was. Joe they thought of as a comedy routine.
Jolani is AQ…he may have distanced himself but nonetheless his forces have killed Christians and other’s they oppose and now we are going to remove sanctions and support him? Am I missing something?
I heard nothing that indicated US support of Syria (i.e. no money, no praise) – but instead what I heard was “intervention in the internal affairs of countries in the ME is over.”
Don’t agree with it, but that’s what I discerned from the comments and understand why it was done. Of course, there could be an unspoken agreement regarding the cessation of certain actions.
Think it creates an issue though and a large inconsistency. For the ME it’s “go your own way.” For the EU it’s “WTH are you doing? STOP IT!”
In regards to the sanctions, think it will be used as a gateway to doing the same for Russia at some point.
One issue I haven’t noticed being voiced is the effects on support for Israel. They’ll whine and stomp that if we’re going to allow SA to purchase that much military hardware, then we need to up the amount we give to Israel. The only possible way around that is if SA signs onto the Abraham Accords so there is at least an argument that “No, they have signed on to peace, you don’t need to counterbalance it.” Do think however there are many in Congress that will abide by their palm greasers wishes anyway and try to push something through.
Until further data is provided this man thinks the Saudis want to know how much it costs to “buy” US good will and friendship. They have many reasons. The cooperation with the US on oil pricing for the world market; obtaining microreactors; an ally against Iran; admission to US universities and engineering schools; US weaponry deals, and soooo much more. To the Saudi royal family and their oil money, what is a measly Trillion dollars? They didn’t even have to spend that much…!
Mr. Trump’s first 100 days video with wealthy investors telling their business plans for the US is much more authentic and impressive than the Saudi’s plans.

President Trump is right on about America’s role in past meddling policy; the complexity of the situation and the role of multiple actors in the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. I remember too well those 30 years of endless wars in the Middle East against America and Americans. I had friends during the booming oil industry, those who worked in the Middle East and those who don’t travelling on business who risked being singled out on their planes for being Americans and many shot.
Those who went on that warpath resented America’s meddling. The United States has been involved in numerous conflicts in the Middle East, often due to its foreign policy goals and perceived need to protect its interests in the region. These interests include access to oil, countering Soviet influence during the Cold War, and supporting Israel. These interventions have led to resentment among local populations and other regional powers, who viewed American actions as meddling and interference in their affairs.
One significant example is the 1953 CIA-led coup in Iran – which overthrew the elected government to secure Iran’s oil for the UK and the United States. This event is often cited as a reason for anti-American sentiment in Iran and the broader Middle East.
More recently, the United States has faced criticism for its support of Israel during the Gaza war following the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel. The Biden administration requested and received substantial military aid from Congress to support Israel, which has drawn scrutiny and backlash from NGOs concerned about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Additionally, the Iran-Contra Affair, where the US supplied weapons to Iran through Israel to fund Contra rebels in Nicaragua, further illustrates the complex and sometimes controversial nature of American involvement in the region.
These actions have contributed to a perception of the United States as a destabilizing force in the Middle East, leading to conflicts and resentment among various actors in the region.
The report “No Clean Hands: The Interventions of Middle Eastern Powers, 2010–2020” highlights that, while the United States is often seen as the primary instigator of instability, its regional partners have also engaged in significant military interventions that have contributed to regional conflicts.
