Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected the latest U.S. proposal for a minerals deal that would create a partnership to repay the United States for ongoing financial support. According to Zelenskyy, the deal to share in oil, gas and mineral revenue would amount to debt that would disqualify them from EU membership due to unstable financials.
However, it is important for U.S. readers to remember the U.S. aid package already underway pays for the entire operation of the Ukraine federal spending liabilities, including pensions, government worker paychecks and everything normally within a govt budget. U.S. taxpayers are not only subsidizing the war with munitions, but we are also subsidizing the government operation and citizens of Ukraine. Within that spending there is MASSIVE corruption ongoing.
When Zelensky rejects (1) the terms of a “minerals deal,” (2) rejects U.N peacekeepers, (3) rejects the predicate for peace that Russia will retain part of Eastern Ukraine geography, and (4) rejects the offered security guarantees, he is also rejecting the idea that American taxpayers should be repaid for all their support.
Almost all of these rejections appear based on Zelensky’s belief the U.K, France and European allies can replace any support lost by President Trump changing his approach toward Ukraine. Zelensky, who has not been elected, is developing a reputation for being so difficult, so demanding, so spoiled and temperamental that neither Vladimir Putin nor President Trump wants to deal with him.
Against this backdrop, the ceasefire deal is tenuous at best. Russia, who previously said they did not expect Zelensky to stand by any ceasefire proposal, continues to launch airstrikes against Ukraine as Zelensky continues to prove Vladimir Putin correct by rejecting U.S. proposed terms for a ceasefire – while claiming Russia is not abiding.
Western Ukrainians are influenced more by the propaganda from the European Union, Brussels, France and the U.K, than they are from NATO military.
The support for war amid the EU member states is directly proportional to the severity of their leftist, socialist and WEF tendencies. The more anti-nationalist the nation state is, the more likely they support the Ukraine war.
As this larger dynamic continues, one can imagine President Trump frustratingly accepting the need for Vladimir Putin to go even harder against Ukraine. The current interim terms include both Ukraine and Russia not targeting energy infrastructure; however, both nations appear to have -at least collaterally- violated that concept.
If a targeted Russian strike takes down a municipal power pole, Zelensky calls it an attack on “energy infrastructure.” If a Russian missile hits the street and disrupts a natural gas line, Zelensky repeats the claim. As the narrative is pushed, if a Ukranian soldier is recharging his cell phone at the time he is hit, energy producing infrastructure has been targeted.
The bottom line is becoming very obvious. NATO countries and the western media who support them, demand President Trump must maintain support for Ukraine, as Zelensky rejects any proposed terms from President Trump to end the conflict.
Russia keeps attacking. A belligerent Volodymyr Zelensky, who will not accept any terms for negotiated peace (so far), continues playing the victim and saying Russia is violating terms needed for peace. NATO and the EU alliance continue telling Zelensky to keep fighting; Zelensky rejects anything that stops the fighting; NATO and the EU alliance continue demanding that President Trump support Zelensky. That’s the current cycle.
The CIA, as viewed through their spokespeople at the Washington Post, continue snarking at President Trump for not ending the war on Day #1; while the same CIA keeps organizing the Ukraine/EU forces to attack Russia, stimulating a continuation of the war they snark at Trump for not stopping.

At the Wiesbaden base, US officers are passing intelligence to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and coordinating HIMARS strikes, calling targets not “targets” but “points of interest” (apparently to sound more civilized).
The CIA helps Ukraine with data for attacks deep into Russia. For example, it was American intelligence that transmitted the coordinates of an ammunition depot in the Tver region that was hit by drones.
Three dozen military advisers have been secretly sent to Kyiv, who for the sake of secrecy have been called “specialized experts”, but their real task is to plan combat operations for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

At this point I think Trump should just deal with Putin. Agree to let Russia take all of Ukraine for a deal on oil, gas and minerals to pay us back. We won’t have to spend a dime more on Ukraine. Can tell the rest of the world I told you so (Ukraine without US support would fall). We get financial arrangement with Russia and if the EU complains about that, remind them of what they buy that makes them reliant on Russia. We can start building better relations with Russia and hopefully this breaks the relations with China. The left already thinks Trump is a Russian puppet; this would make their heads explode. Next Russia goes after the corrupt bureaucrats in Ukraine, exposing all the money they have been stealing from us and the EU. When Zelenskyy hides in France or some other country, put the icing on the cake by going after his finances since I’m sure he has a lot of money that came in the form of his 10%. Maybe Russia could even find out who in the US and EU were taking kickbacks.
I have never agreed with funding someone else’s war, and this one is not ours. Maybe it is time too let the EU own this, finance it, and subsidize every facet of the Ukraine.
We know Obama initiated and provoked this war, we need to get on stable solid ground with Russia. The EU = WEF, and they hate us, the WEF will never succeed as long as the United States is a global super power, and we have all seen how Obama did everything he possibly could to destroy our great Republic.

If you read the details of the second agreement, as described by Russia, it states if one side violates, the other is free to retaliate, basically aknowledging the cease fire for the Black Sea is aspirational, at least so long as Zman is pumping O2.
So, whats the point? Its the REST of the agreement, which relaxes the prohibitions on Russian access to SWIFT, for ships and Fish, fertiliser and farm equipment.

NYT’s Secret History Detailing US ‘Shocking’ Involvement Ukraine War

It is years too late and alternative and independent media had already done so much work on exposing the reality, including 600+ page books which have been published, but the New York Times on Sunday is out with a lengthy report on The Partnership: The Secret History of America’s Role in the Ukraine War.
Up until very recently, mainstream media gatekeepers wouldn’t so much as admit that a proxy war has been unfolding from the very start of the conflict in Ukraine. This even after the so-called paper of record had earlier in Feb. 2024 acknowledged that the CIA had built 12 “secret spy bases” in Ukraine to wage a shadow war against Russia going back to 2014.
Again, it comes much too belatedly, but now with Ukrainian forces clearly losing the fight, the Times admits that the prior Biden administration was far more involved in being embedded on a military and intelligence level with Ukraine than was previously made public by official sources.
The report is a deep dive into the “extraordinary partnership of intelligence, strategy, planning and technology” that became Zelensky’s “secret weapon” in countering Russia. It begins by describing that within two months of Putin sending his army across the border, Ukrainian generals in civilians clothes were being secretly whisked away for high-level war planning sessions at US bases in Germany.
The passengers were top Ukrainian generals,” NY Times describes of men taken by a convoy of unmarked cars from the Ukrainian capital to Western Europe. “Their destination was Clay Kaserne, the headquarters of U.S. Army Europe and Africa in Wiesbaden, Germany. Their mission was to help forge what would become one of the most closely guarded secrets of the war in Ukraine.”
The report makes clear that US commanders were much more inter-woven into Ukrainian operations than known, to the point of ‘shocking’ some NATO allies. In essence many counter-Russia operations happening on Ukraine’s battlefields were simply run from the base in Germany.
“But a New York Times investigation reveals that America was woven into the war far more intimately and broadly than previously understood,” the report continues. “At critical moments, the partnership was the backbone of Ukrainian military operations that, by U.S. counts, have killed or wounded more than 700,000 Russian soldiers. (Ukraine has put its casualty toll at 435,000.) Side by side in Wiesbaden’s mission command center, American and Ukrainian officers planned Kyiv’s counteroffensives. A vast American intelligence-collection effort both guided big-picture battle strategy and funneled precise targeting information down to Ukrainian soldiers in the field.”
Notably, this is essentially US officials and the NY Times also admitting that the Kremlin has all along been right when it insisted this was never really simply about Moscow vs. Kiev – but that NATO countries have militarized Ukraine and weaponized it against Russia. President Putin and Kremlin officials have been fiercely complaining about US intervention all along, but this was dismissed in the West as merely ‘propaganda’.
