Some of the best cheesesteaks, hoagies, pizza and other Italian food is served in a little place known as Franzones in Bridgeport, Pa. Was a waitress there as a teenager, and went across the river to a bakery to pick up the fresh italian loaves for the sandwiches. It’s still there and the food has not changed. It just was passed down to the next generation along with the recipes. I am almost 75, so that tells you how long it’s been around and it was going strong before I was born.
