We agreed to an immediate Ceasefire on all Energy and Infrastructure, with an understanding that we will be working quickly to have a Complete Ceasefire and, ultimately, an END to this very horrible War between Russia and Ukraine.
This War would have never started if I were President! Many elements of a Contract for Peace were discussed, including the fact that thousands of soldiers are being killed, and both President Putin and President Zelenskyy would like to see it end. That process is now in full force and effect, and we will, hopefully, for the sake of Humanity, get the job done!” ~ Donald Trump

(Via Reuters) – MOSCOW (Reuters) -Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to a proposal by U.S. President Donald Trump for Russia and Ukraine to stop attacks on each other’s energy infrastructure for 30 days and ordered the Russian military to cease them, the Kremlin said on Tuesday.
[…] “The Russian side outlined a number of significant points regarding ensuring effective control over a possible ceasefire along the entire line of combat contact, the need to stop forced mobilisation in Ukraine, and the rearming of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” it said.

The message from President Trump has been very direct and straightforward, stop the killing. The rest is details that can be worked out amid the parties involved. The blunt truth behind the message is an affirmation for peace.
Strategically, the renewal of a relationship between the U.S. and Russia allows President Trump to enlist the assistance of Putin on the issues of Iran and the middle east. Again, more peace.
Building reasonable economic ties that mutually assist each nation is another step toward stability, mutual respect and peace. Nothing about this is too complicated, yet it runs counter to traditional geopolitical approaches that create conflict within the space when talking stops.
Russia and Ukraine stop destroying energy and infrastructure. Then they stop maritime conflict in the Black Sea. Then eventually, shortly, all ground fighting stops at the current geographical lines of conflict, and talks of long-term peace begin.
There is mutual respect between President Trump and President Putin that is easy to understand when you recognize the value in brutal honesty that both leaders reflect. Dropping pretenses is the first step toward successful discussions.

I turned the television on as it is a bigger screen than the computer to watch the splashdown, the Fox channel with Gregg Jarrett talking with his guest was the astronaut Kelly, the twin brother of Mark Kelly, also an astronaut and now Senator from Arizona.

I thought that phone call between the two leaders was a perfect phone call. If they can bring a peace deal together, it will change the world, put an end to the remnants of those cold war era dominance games and set the future up for peace for centuries to come.

It would have been very interesting to have been a fly on the wall. Very likely, Putin is grateful that there is once again a grown-up in the room on the other side of the table. However, this positive first step is only the barest beginning.

Trump is trying to end this war without acknowledging the extreme culpability of the U.S. deep state in provoking and prolonging the war. I don’t agree with this. The American intelligence community allied with the military industrial complex is responsible for all those hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians and Russians (the exact numbers of which apparently no one will ever know, and no one can agree on to this day).
If one good thing can emerge from this war, it is Trump telling the American people that from henceforth, US foreign policy will no longer be conducted by the deep state, the intelligence community, and corrupt swamp dwellers who pocket millions from the military industrial complex. US foreign policy from henceforth will be conducted by elected presidents, who will clearly inform the American people what their foreign policy is and why.
It is possible or even likely that Ukraine will not agree to the ceasefire. However, the agreements between the US and Russia leaving out the EU and NATO are constructive.
In an article, “Will Russia Expand It’s Ground Campaign Into Sumy,, Dniepopretovsk, And/Or Kharkov Regions?” by Andrew Korybko, the author makes the following point:”This might be the only way to ensure Ukraine’s demilitarization if diplomacy fails.”
I think this war is now a proxy war between the globalist forces centered in the EU and UK vs. the nationalist forces of the US and Russia.
The globalist forces are at war with President Trump and his administration inside the US itself.
Sundance may know the names of these individuals who serve the globalist forces arrayed against Trump in the US that are not common knowledge to Americans.
