Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick appears on Bloomberg to discuss the tariff approach of President Trump toward national security. Economic security is national security.
Lutnick correctly points out the crazy mindset of the Canadians and Europeans not understanding and respecting the big picture objective of President Trump. Ex. President Trump says we need steel and aluminum made in the USA, Canada responds with a tax on soccer balls. As Lutnick says, “really, I mean, REALLY?”
This interview is must watch television that cuts directly through the pretending and silliness. WATCH:

Economic Security == National Security
[h/t Sundance]
Here’s to hoping the Whitehouse ignores the noise and keeps doing what they are doing. Our nation is in the ditch and what the Administration is doing is simply normal to course correct and the media is working the sheep into a froth.
Europe can’t prop up Ukraine when tariff-ed
Howard Lutnick is such a likeable and well spoken gentleman. I love how he said that the Canadian leaders are just looking for votes for the election.
He showed just how trivial our leaders are. Fantastic job in this interview. What a gem this man is for Donald Trump.
DD
He knew he was dealing with two Marxists and kept his cool. Love his calling out the FAKE NEWS!
“They’ve got you, talking about them”.
Says it all.
I think he translates MAGA as well as our President. They are cut from the same cloth. NY street fighter. I just can’t get enough of this guy.
What a team….
So right! Sadly, it probably chaffs a lot of otherwise “conservative Christians” that it takes some fast-talking, fast-thinking New Yorkers to Make America Great Again. But THIS is what fighting for the USA should look like. Great minds, and big balls!
Why do you assume that smart well spoken people chaff conservative Christians?
I’m Christian and I am most definitely not chaffed. What is the opposite of chaffed?
I took PJ’s comment to mean the Pearl Clutching Christians who melt at the idea of major confrontations that requires bravery and fearless action against Team Satan. We have a few here that insist that the main thing we should do is pray for Team Satan instead of actively working towards defeating Team Satan.
Namby Pamby Christians probably works better than conservative Christians.
Basically, yes. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who just don’t like New Yorkers. Fortunately, there are more of us who do, and chose a great one as our President – twice!
No. Your words did not indicate that. Nice back pedal though.
It has not gone unnoticed that all of a sudden you are seeking out my posts just to be rude and critical. You have been twisting my words, and it’s starting to look personal.
Here’s an idea: If you dislike my posts so much, how about exercising the scroll button?
I don’t bother you, and this is my kind request that you stop replying to me.
It’s those same Namby Pamby Christians who put their heads in the sand and refuse to Vote for their children’s future and security. “In the world but not of the world.” I really don’t get these people.
Does Mitt Romney come to mind??
Yes he is…and following this interview it seems that the Ontario blowhard Doug Ford found him so as well.
I thought Kevin Hassett was a Happy Warrior…
Lutnick and Hassett. A double act…brothers from another mother.
Winning friends, just like their boss.
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5194173-ontario-premier-ford-lutnick/mlite/amp/
He D.D.
Yes our “ leaders” are buffoons.
Trivial is the correct word..maybe, and it is a big maybe.
If pollievre can win the election, maybe he can become a Statesman.
Cheers!
He’s actually my favorite of President Trumps new wolverines. Down to earth, of good humor, explains the issues so even a dullard like me can understand. Would love take a class with him as the teacher, or better yet, have a beer with him.
Mr. Howard Lutnick is the real deal- good luck pulling his finger…
Oh no! The dreaded soccer ball tariff! How will the Republic survive such a burden on our national life?
Is Soccer an American Sport? Just saying….
Great team sport for kids. Schools and community leagues across the country have soccer programs and competitions. It is far safer than football since it is not designed as a direct hard contact sport and doesn’t involve a hard ball that can seriously injure a child because of speed and unpredictability. Keeps the kids running around the field, which is healthy. Actually safer than baseball and lacrosse because of no small hard ball that can be deadly when hit or thrown hard.
Is the soccer ball soft enough that when a player “heads” it, there is no risk of injury?
Wise post!
I played competitive soccer till my early forties.
Coached too to college level.
Dementia in ex professionals is now prevalent, and many medical folks believe heading the ball has played a significant role.
When coaching girls ( U 16/17 ) I noticed that knee injuries were quite common among them.
We only had sons that played so coaching girls was new to me.
I asked a doctor friend of mine why girls appeared to experience more significant knee injuries than boys.
His belief was that the female quadricep muscles were not generally strong enough to support the incredible stress a knee undergoes playing soccer.
Cheers!
Cheers! I am frankly not that familiar with soccer, but would it be possible and practical, to change the rules to eliminate ‘heading’ the ball?
I ask because I don’t think its possible/practical to change the rules in American football, to eliminate the repetitive head injury problem, its just too much head butting contact.
Anyway, always enjoy your comments, as well as our other Canadian treepers!
Cheers!
Good timing, as I am just heading out to let the dog have a wander before “ turning in”
Fair question.
No.
Heading the ball is an integral part of the game.
Many goals are scored “ with the head” and a central defender will use his head numerous times in a game.
As an ex athlete and the father of two boys that played team sports at a college level.
I now find team sports somewhat tainted, and hope our grandsons find pleasure in individual sport.
Cheers to you, and being the savvy street smart individual that you are, will recognize that my appreciation for your perspectives on all matters is sincere.
🥂
I join in the hope that team sports influence fades away in favor of individual sports.
Just a thought….team sports are akin to ‘group think’?
team sports are very important, unless used to provoke “woke” culture.
It’s official this thread has drifted out of sight of land. There’s a raging storm and we’re drowning.
Brilliant, the allegory to media bias and loaded questions crafted by the socialist elite is a great help in forwarding our need to right the ship of a prosperous nation. Cuckoo cuckoo
Ok good job I think we’re all in agreement now let’s go change the world.
Why don’t you use your head to say something pertanant maybe ask your dog.
I just fed the dog and showed him your post.
He simply shrugged and suggested that the poster displayed an inability to spell three syllable words, and stated that pertinent was the correct spelling.
😉🐶
When I was young, we played touch football. It was fun, and we all had no injuries. This does not happen today because we have been conditioned to the Roman Coliseum semi-gladiator mode. Contact sport is an animal instinct, and we just love it. Boxing is a perfect example of brutality. Biological men competing against women in sports is a sign of the sickness amongst us. Figure.
Well that was interesting, one of the finest examples of a limited attention span. What else can you contribute to the topic, please.
Dude really, I’m surprised and disappointed. I thought you were better than that
Saw no injuries to kids in junior league soccer because they rarely head the ball. It was also rarely done in high school soccer at least. When I played it back in the ‘60s and when my son played in the late 80s.
Obviously the pros play at a completely different skill level. I have read of long term damage in some of those who use their heads frequently.
PS – I fear we’ve hijacked this thread with an off topic discussion.
I believe the topic was the restoration of economic stability and prosperity for the beleaguered and vulnerable American economy through the use of tariffs. A rather existential concern considering the current state of stuff.
But a yeah go ahead what we’re you saying?
Maybe, but leg strength is the only place where female and male are pretty close. I played adult soccer into my sixties. At 81, my knees are pretty good.
Go away just leave.
GB said it is safer, not that there is no risk of injury,
Not sure what you mean, safer for the Eu and Canada or the corporate media and international governmental state corruption ?
Thank you. Accurate representation of my statements.
Wow, is that your idea of contemplating the issue or are you just a troll for yahoo finance.
“Far safer”? Take a look at the head and knee injury rates between American football and metric football. I will bet you will find that the injury rates are fairly close.
Sports aren’t safe. Life isn’t safe. Too bad. That’s the way it is.
If you think that’s something you should see the bottom line of the rust belt. it’s raw
Among the professional athletes I would expect that to be true. They play hard to win and earn more money.
But among children’s organized sports, soccer has proven to be safer – that’s why it has become so popular.
Next.
Hey you, yeah you way over there. Where are we? I think we’ve been Shanghai d by the deep state. Or is it just we’re caught in a glitch of half wits? Thanks I’ve got your back
We skied in the winter and surfed, paddle boarded, kayaked in the off season. Kids have thrived without team sports. Our one son wanted to play basketball, sure you can, however, the rest of the family will continue to ski. He did not play basketball.
Really, cool what else did you do? I heard it’s 350 a day for Aspen. Basketballs ok but we decided to go with Frisbee.
A lot of families – most – cannot afford such luxury vacations, much less get enough time off from work to take them. Organized childrens sports are usually very low cost for participants.
Go back to sleep please.
Well, yes it is. I played adult recreational soccer for 10 years or so.
NO
Congratulations, your simple minded and sophomoric comment has enabled the deflection of the purpose of the post.
🙂
Who was that woman? Yikes!
Ms Nasty! OMG, what a b!tch!
Annmarie Hordern
Her questions were okay, but her voice is really annoying.
The US has only four aluminum smelters that can turn bauxite into aluminum. And I think we get 40% of our aluminum from Canada. So, don’t we need more smelters?
I think we only have two operating copper smelters. Enough you think?
Spot On.
We walk our dogs over the site of the former Reynolds Aluminum Plant Troutdale, that closed 2000.
Look at this list of global plants https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aluminium_smelters Most of the USA plants closed, but count the number of China plants.
Spokane WA also has an idled aluminum facility I’d love to see put back into action.
Yes. The hydraulics distributor I started my career with used to sell product to the Mead plant. Every manufacturing plant shut down has adverse downstream effects.
<…we get 40% of our aluminum from Canada. So, don’t we need more smelters?>
Plans for more aluminum were foiled 🙂
Nonsense…that’s just a “ tin hat “ theory.😉
“tinny”
…or parried with a foil.
Yes; more smelters and refiners. The various federal and State permitting agencies have blocked approving any new refineries or smelters for over a decade and the new head of the Interior Dept. has been looking at the process of removing the blockage for getting these facilities built as part of the whole streamlining the regulations and permits processes in all the agencies.
Smelters need to deal with EPA, hence Lee Zeldin.
Smelters need lots and lots of electricity, hence bringing coal plants online.
Some states won’t want either, but the economic growth potential will appeal to other states. There will be permanent winners and losers of states because once you build those plants they won’t be moving again.
These processes. require a lot of water. To convert a ton of bauxite to aluminum oxide, at least 1000 liters. Convert a ton of copper porphyry to slurry, maybe 500 liters. And this is with recycling.
And?
And water is not an unlimited resource. We need to learn what can be done in this process or subsequent to it to recycle as much as possible, since the contaminated water, unlike CO2, is a serious pollutant.
Yes it is. Deslination is one method and Earth is 70% covered in water. Yes by all means reduce the contamination and recycle.
It is best for mines and smelters to be in close proximity, but this can mean they are in an area where water is already in high demand. Look at, for example, the Hudbay project in Lyon Cty Nevada. Water from the Walker and Carson rivers is already in demand from ranchers and farmers. So there is a conflict. But if the copper porphyry had to be moved to a distant smelter where water supply was not an issue, you are looking at transporting material that has only .3% copper.
This is my point.
Yes, with our ‘federal’ form of government, some individual states will take advantage of the opportunities to improve the work and economic opportunities for their residents. … The dumb state politicians will only ‘fast track’ the opening of more Cannabis Dispensaries.
Ambitious people worried about their own family’s economic future are >currently moving to the states promoting economic growth and jobs. … [But Hey Man, there are other people moving to states giving out big welfare checks and promote growth in the “Medical” Cannabis cartels.]
Well, we had a very big aluminum smelter on the gulf coast of Texas run by Alcoa, but was shut down from all the EPA regulations.
As Musk has mentioned, if you are a manufacturer in the US, there is some regulation from government that makes what you do illegal. This is part of the reason for the mass exodus.
My former employer; one of the top chemical companies in the world was getting ready to exit the US completely just before the shale oil/gas revolution changed the economics significantly. During the Obama years they stopped investing capital in the US and went to Saudi Arabia and invested $25 billion to duplicate the US footprint in preparation to shift all production out of the US.
Our government has been hard at work for decades destroying our economy. Hopefully, the corruption can be sufficiently exposed and rooted out in or Eder to reverse this trend. I am hopeful we have the right team for the job.
you’re 100% correct: however, if you don’t mind, I’d like to make one small correction:
we’ve had unelected people in “Our government (bureaucracies who’ve) has been hard at work for decades destroying our economy.”
some of these are fervently religious Greenies, some are mindless sheep, some are Marxists
AKA ‘WEBE’….we be here before you and we be here, after….
It’s called fundamental change. Long before Obama, the commies within our government were hard at work to destroy this nation. Years ago, when we started exporting our manufacturing overseas, I knew that it would eventually come back and bite us.
Also reopen some of the primary lead smelters.
“Canada responds with a tax on soccer balls.”
That’s the only balls the Snow Mexicans have. Ha!
“Canada has I think only 60 airplanes! Like sure, Canada can protect itself!”
😂
Oh. That was so fantastic! Then he pointed out that we are the lowest contributor to NATO.
He just shredded the arrogant Canadian officials. Talk about a well mannered beat down! I love it. He just made them look so small and pitiful.
Wow. I want to see more of this guy everyday!
DD
DD, thank you for being one of many many Canadians who understand what is really going on between the USA and Canada. If we can save American then the movement to free people from the bondage of this economic destruction taking over the West can flourish.
They do not want people to witness what REAL economic leadership entails. They do not want people to witness how their tax dollars have been stolen and wasted on embezzlement.
I watched the Canadian Truckers with respect and awe. I know that there are many millions more Canadians like the Truckers who would love to be free and will happily embrace the opportunity to rid themselves of these globalist losers.
The Canadian leaders need to be smacked down, weakened, and ultimately destroyed in order for Canadians to be rid of them. Right now, we are working on getting a crack in the dam but once it gets weakened enough then there is nothing they can do to stop it.
Economic freedom is contagious and I want to believe that PDJT is showing the world how to make each nation prosperous for the working/middle classes.
So true!
The Canadian Air Force has 60 planes and many of them are obsolete and not functioning. Canada relies on the United States military for it’s defence.
The smack down at the end, 23:15, is great.
The whole interview was great, but the end was delicious.
If I recall correctly, sundance said Lutnick was going to be the best since Wilbur Ross.
I agree!
Oh yes…..Wilber. A fine wolverine….”underestimate Donald Trump at your own parell…’
Isn’t Canadian steel really Chinese steel that Canada falsely relabels as produced in Canada?
Yup
Canada is a major producer of steel and aluminum, and yet they are also a major importer of these products from
China.
Currently Canada has a 25% surcharge on Chinese aluminum and steel, so if these metals are transshipped to the US, they would not have entered the Canadian commerce, that is, they would not have cleared customs on a consumption entry (US term).
The transshipment mechanism would be, for example, that ocean containers of Chinese steel and aluminum products would unlade in Canada, then enter on a T&E (transportation and export, a US term but Canada has an equivalent). This means the shipment is “in bond” to the border. Canadian customs would close out the “in bond” movement, then the container would cross into the US on fraudulent documents showing Canadian origin.
Of course, if we charge the 25% duty, that then makes transshipment pointless.
Have they been doing this? I suspect so. I’ll
bet the DOGE guys could run it down.
B.C. Coast pilots are working at full capacity.
LNG in the B.C. north has a significant on the availability and the ports of Prince Rupert and Vancouver are extremely busy.
Laden ships from Asia do not have any priority.
Canada’s capacity to increase the importation of steel and aluminum via ship is limited, and President Trump and Mr Lutnick are once again showing sheer brilliance.
One can only imagine the exuberance and revitalization of communities that retool dormant plants, and construct new ones.
Cheers!
Dekester. Years ago I was part of a team that ran a fibre cable from Terrace to Prince Rupert. What a beautiful way to work.
Gorgeous landscape.
DD
Nice, I have flown into Terrace from there we took a bus into “ Rupert”
A ferry ride to Ketchikan and where we sat and watched the float planes land
Then we took a 42 ft commercial boat down to the mainland.
We had Orcas following the Aluminum hulled boat for miles, they can be attracted to the vibration.
As you state, truly beautiful.
Cheers!
They certainly did it in the past.
Does Dofasco even have any Canadian plants anymore?
https://buildsteel.org/suppliers/arcelormittal-dofasco/
Dofasco now Arcelormittal, has one operational pant left in my city Hamilton Ontario. We have been known as the Steel City also the Hammer. The size has shrunk badly. I don’t know how many employed there now, but years ago half of the Hamilton population worked at Dofasco.
That one.
They used to do that with aluminum, too, until we tariffed the heck out of it. They really do manufacture aluminum, though, using imported Russian bauxite. The remaining American aluminum manufacturing uses American-origin bauxite.
Tariff Kentucky Bourbon and piss off Mitch McConnell!!
Double-Plus-Good!!
🤣 🤣 🤣
Loved when Lutnick said the Turtle did not matter any more.😀
Mitch tried to gain the whole world in power and wealth and look at him now…..a drooling hulk of a has been.
But leave the bourbon infused chocolate fudge, from the Trappist Monks from the Abbey of Gethsemane, alone!
PSA…you CAN get drunk on their fudge….one Christmas, the nursing supervisor had to confiscate a box, because the nurses were getting a tad ‘loopy’ in the ICU….
For the discerning tastes, they also have ‘coffee fudge’, and ‘maple walnut fudge’….
I worked with a former WW2 German tank operator that resided in Canada and would bring me hard candy infused with liquor. This was in the late 60s in Western New York. It spanked you pretty good after 2 or 3. Never could figure out how this was allowed by the governments. He told me many hilarious stories about their retreat from Italy.
Sounds great!
That sounds yummy! I never heard of them. Thank you.
Sorry.
Can’t watch videos at all.
I loved how he won’t respond to the Politico gossip question. Keep it up – we’ll get a legitimate press sooner than anyone thought we could.
The MarxMerdia is a fully integrated element of the Derp State, which MUST be destroyed!!
Canadas chances to win the tariff war with Trump are slim and none………………..and Slim’s left town.
As much chance as a one-legged man, in an *ss-kicking contest.
Hahahahahhahaahaha……………………
I saw a FB blurb/meme….the comment was something like this, cannot speak for its veracity, but well we might be missing the mark if so:
Canada imports 83% of its toilet paper from the US.
Holy Shit!
Good grief! Why? It’s not as if they have no trees.
Wow, that was worth the watch
Canada is not logical because Trump’s tariffs as proposed would only cost Canada 18.8 billion per year according to a study.
The federal government blows far more than that in sheer waste per year. Eliminating carbon taxes and a bunch of stuff more than covers it too. So there is no real benefit in making it worse with counter tariffs.
What offends me and Canadians I know across the political spectrum is the idea of Canada being a US State. And even worse than that the new movement in Canada for Canada to join the EU.
We’ll take neither, thanks.
Blunt and direct time.
Realpolitik.
Canada can either revolt against the Crown, be like the Velveteen Rabbit and become a real country and seize the opportunity to really become its own Sovereign Nation having exactly zero truck with the Commonwealth (due to the Monroe Doctrine being newly energized), or it can join the US.
There is no third option.
Canada cannot remain what it is now, which is nothing more than a fake country governed by globalists who could give a s___ about actual Canadians and what they need or want.
Your choice.
The clock is ticking.
That one.
I think it’s prideful to NOT look at the grace of accepting the greatest document in all of the World as a protector of the people. Canada’s Bill of Rights & Charter are not worth the paper they were written on (proven during the Trucker Convoy) Why do Canadians feel their Country has any possibility to ever be reformed to a better conclusion than just accepting America and become the 51st state? It’s insanity to reject it with such foolish pride? Canada is only a British colony anyways with its History supplanted as a British Tyrannical Government that hunted down the forefathers of America then retreated and resettled in the North? We Canadians ARE THE BAD GUYS! Get over yourself already, that’s your prideful history! Finally hate to break it to you, but Canada is ALREADY under EU Control! Proven more clearly with the installment of Banker Carney!
British Columbia chiming in!
Folks here sure are “ steaming” and look really silly.
Especially our Communist Premier.
I sincerely believe President Trump is just “ winding up” Canadian watchers of our CBC CNN and local Canadian stations that are all affiliated to either CBS, ABC or NBC.
We know President Trump has a terrific sense of humour.
To become a State would IMO be nearly impossible to attain.
Quebec, Natives, and all our other Provinces would be in tither.
I would think President Trump is just working on an complex economic union.
Cheers!
Relax. Time will tell.
Frankly, I think Canadians wouldn’t be a good cultural or political fit.
Your thinking is narrow minded and shallow. Canada, as it stands, is under the thumb of the Globalists. Canadians are not free.
China also is in partnership with the Canadian globalists. Canadians are rapidly losing Canada to people who do not care about Canadians.
Do not kid yourself into thinking that they are not working towards the destruction of what you remember Canada to be.
Wow. He is amazing.
I highly recommend watching this Alex Krainer Tom Luongo discussion to understand the 40,000 foot picture.
Especially minutes 9, 14 and 17.
I agree. The new Chinese tariff on Canadian rapeseed oil = shows the existence of coordination between Xi and President Trump. The two of them talk. Apparently, quite a lot. (*Probably ever since that private meet up they had in the Forbidden City.)
This was previewed a long time ago, but now the local maneuvers are largely complete and can we see it in action if we really look:
The US, China, and Russia have allied against the EU Davos and its alliance with the UK Crown.
A Sovereign Alliance, to destroy the globalists.
We do not have to be China or Russia. We just have to be us, and recognize a shared interest in razing the City of London and salting the ground on which it stands.
” Canada” is merely a satellite of the Crown, and it was always intended to be the Crown’s foothold to recapture North America.
This ends with war, and in that war, we take Canada and unify North America. Because the Crown has left us no other choice. Interfering with the 2020 election was an act of war by the UK, with the UK acting largely out of Toronto (Dominion).
They know it, we know it. We win. They lose. We get Canada. Just compensation and a secure future. We simply cannot afford to continue to tolerate a hostile power to our North.
I do not know about having an onshore and offshore US Dollar, a la Ren Men Bi / Yuan, but that may be the ultimate endgame (if XRP / Stablecoin does not fill the same function?)
If Luongo is correct, the globalists will now act to fully crash the US stock market, because that is their go to punishment move for countries that get out of line.
We are definitely “out of line.”
Grins. Extends middle finger in the general direction of London.
I think there is a moment coming when the City gets hoisted by its own economic petard. Lutnick already previewed it – the asset backed constitutional dollar, which would be, to borrow a phrase, “unfookwittable” with by the European banking powers.
Game on.
Huge Civilization Scale moves afoot.
We are the Bright Tide of History!
The Golden Age.
Thanks for typing this out for us non-video watcher readers
Europe and Canada are operating under artificial economic and political policy. Policy which cannot exist without unfair trade ex-filtrating the wealth of the USA.
Make money great again……..back the dollar with hard assets like gold, silver platinum. End the fed and stop the printing of paperbacks devaluing them daily.
Silver certificates anyone? Gold certificates?
The green dream was always targeting the USA but to sell the poison they administered it to the EU also. They went too far.
I’ve always had the instinctual feeling (with nothing to back it up) that the UK was involved in the JFK, RJK and MLK assassinations and the turmoil in the USA during the 60s/70s. (was blamed on the USSR at the time….always the boogie man)
I’ve also always had the feeling that our IC is held in thrall by the UK. What better way to control than from the inside and a 4th branch and 5th column movements? The USA bears the cost and produces most of the intelligence data and then gives it away free to the crown and its territories?
Just gut feelings but think that if there ever was a big reveal then our public would be all for declaring economic war on the UK.
Wow! What a great podcast. Thanks for sharing…
What a dumb girl. Lutnick was struggling to keep a straight face.
Wow! Secretary Lutnick knocked it out of the park.
Wow! This guy keeps getting better each interview. This interview gig is new for him but you can see his leadership and communication skills coming out. And his passion for our country. Thinking bigger things for him?
American booze is still on the shelves in Alberta. In fact, if you read the comments it seems that the Canadian people aren’t that much in to boycotts.
God Bless Howard Lutnick! He’s such a contagiously happy warrior for this nation and our President; and obviously has the patience to put up with that rude woman reporter! My goodness, fantastic interview!
Lutnik is, to 47, what Peter Navarro was to 45; a finance guy, sure but also a FANTASTIC spokesperson!
“,..kentucky bourbon that used to piss off Mitch McConnell, but he doesn’t matter any more,..” I LOVE the offhand Dis!
He is a cheerful warrior, and yet challenges the false narratives of the media with facts, and refutes them.
And, anyone who doesn’t understand that this move on Reciprocal Tariffs, as it applies to the EU is inextricably intertwined with the Ukraine war mess, just isn’t seeing the big, 30,000′ level.
I can’t think of anyone more deserving of indifference than the turtle.
I love the way he explains everything –and with a laugh!
EU/Canada–Lilyputians trying to hamstring Gulliver Trump.
Ford had good things to say about Lutnick after the meeting…
—
Bret 🍁
@Bret_Sears
After being mocked on FOX News by US Commerce Secretary Lutnick Doug Ford says he had a very positive meeting with him. It vas very, very positive.
He never gave any details about the meeting. I don’t trust Ford and think he should be kept far away from the negotiation table.
Video linked…
Love him. Aside from being good at what he does, he is happy and upbeat all the time. Makes me feel good every time I see him.
Secretary Lutnick was just as good as I suspected he would be…but CTH readers may be interested in what appeared on my laptop screen AFTER the Lutnick interview was over! A whole slew of Youtube headlines for videos appeared promoting the globalist agenda in Ukraine!
I faithfully copied the first half-dozen of these headlines, word-for-word, including words that were capitalized for emphasis and there were dozens more of the same ilk that I didn’t copy.
This is typical of the lies about the progress of the Ukraine war being promulgated by NATO/CIA/EU through the western media:
“CRIPPLING PUTIN’S ARMY! Putin’s troops will turn on each other if ceasefire is successful!”
“RUSSIA HAS FALLEN! Putin is now DONE! Kremlin collapses as elite Russian troops are CRUSHED in Ukraine!”
“John Bolton’s warning to allies on how to survive the Trump rollercoaster!”
Revenge day for Ukraine! Russia TURNS INTO HELL! Urgent call from Putin to Kremlin!”
“Trump 2.0 is ‘most serious threat to the U.S. Constitution since 1865!’”
“IT’S WAR! Russians turn against Putin – Trump’s ceasefire REJECTED!”
GAME OVER! Putin PANICS as Ukraine outplays him!”
I have noticed when I’m watching or reading something on a conservative website on my phone, I will get spam texts right then or some “news I must read” from whatever lib think tank or lib-run Pravda. Right on schedule! 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the heads up on this delightful interview Sundance. The two nasty women were wanting to start a fight and Lutnick did not give them the time of day.
He is great!
Best part is at 23:16-
Bloombergs version of AOC (Anne Marie Horton) tries to move the POLITICO hit piece.
He stopped her in her tracks. He told her to stop like she was an toddler. He said you have got to stop with the fake news.
She then yells at him to hold on. She just wants to give him a chance to respond.
He tells her he doesn’t want the chance to respond to fake news. He then refuses to play her game and demolished the garbage by pointing out that some of the criticism was from the Council of Economic Advisors. Yet there are no members yet.
He then tells the her these lousy media outlets got HER to talk about THEM. He even says he will not say their (Politico) name because they don’t deserve to be read because it is nonsense.
😘
I could listen to Howard Lutnick all day. He is by far the most intelligent and competent Secretary in the Cabinet. He shovels wheelbarrows of common sense at the ignorant script readers who sit there like doe-eyed dumbasses asking stupid follow up questions…; “what will you do to bring down the temperature of the maddy mad mad Canadians?’ Cause they’re mad at you, you know.”
Lutnick responds: pshhh whatever. “We need steel and aluminum made in America by Americans, for national security.
The unsaid statement was “we don’t need or want cheap, stolen technology, made by effing slaves, shitty Chinese materials in our country and you fools will stop lying about it coming over the border whether you like it or not.”
Lutnick ’28. You heard it here first 🌳
He’s got my vote!
I remember when screws were not made of cheap metal manufactured by/for the Chinese. I am so tired of screws that get a tiny little bit of “push” and they start to get stripped.
I am a 66 year old woman and I am becoming much more proficient at removing stripped screws then I ever needed to be if we still had screws made from American steel. This is not a skill that I put on my bucket list.
I am tired of it.
Oh yes, I am also tired of it! Thank you from all us senior ladies that have to mess with the cheap screws!
Look at a post by Maquis on page one of PT this morning at 3:07. Interesting reference from someone we all know regarding opening the door to President Trump’s third term.
Maquis, care to repost?

Love it… I’ve been talking (somewhat tongue in cheek) about the upcoming need for robot technicians and wouldn’t you know it… the words just came out of Lutnick’s mouth!!
Biden Admin 490,000 exemptions. The Democrats hate the US. What country do they like ?
The Dems like whoever is in the NWO; your usual suspects..Uk, France, Canada, Brussels, Germany…
All of those countries, and the US when the Biteme Junta was in charge, are about suppression of speech, suppression of liberty, suppression of Christianity.
They have lost bigly, but they have not come to terms with it yet.
The Lib State governors/Legislators/judicial arms are trying to pick up the slack of what their Federal partners (your Schumers/Warrens, etc) have failed at. They too will fail. God has other plans.
Loved it when Lutnick said his agency couldn’t even process 490,000 Christmas cards so how could they possibly get through all those exemptions (paraphrased, my words) so just get rid of all of them and start over–or something like that. Very funny and presented in one sentence, easy to remember and repeat. He is good at that. No rambling.
Bloomberg asks Narrative/Propaganda questions. The same ones over and over again.
Bloomberg hopes our country fails.
The female narrative propagandist for Bloomberg in that interview was particularly nasty and brainless.
Liberal white women are the nastiest people on earth!
Outstanding segment. TY for posting.
Agree. Thank you for posting this interview. Love your suspicious cat photo.
Wow!!
There is in my view -0- doubt that PJDT has assembled the most gifted, talented Cabinet of our generation if not All-Time!!
What a contrast to that “Ship of Fools” Cabinet that Faux “Auto Pen” Biden assembled.
Indeed the contrast between these 2 administrations could not be more vast.
I loved every bit of it. 🙂
Howard Lutnick well spoken smart guy.president had great Teams,
So interesting to hear the truth about how Trump and his team are rebuilding our country. Our economy has been looted, our wealth as individual tax payers has been drained by redistributionist socialist policies since the 1930’s and by inflation created by wild and inappropriate Congressional and federal bureaucratic spending as well as the policies of the Fed, and so many countries have taken advantage of our country by their tariff policies, it’s sometimes amazing that we have a shell of a country still in existence.
I thank God every day that we have a strong and courageous president who actually thinks with his brain and understands what policies lead to economic growth and more and better jobs. I am so grateful he has come up with trade policies that will benefit us. I am grateful that he is determined to create good middle class jobs in manufacturing that we lost through globalist policies, as well as US union policies that helped drive manufacturing jobs overseas. I am grateful that Donald Trump understands that over-regulation also played a role in driving manufacturing overseas where they have no protections for workers.
We have so much to look forward to!
Mr. Lutnick is indeed a great person. He proved this with his handling of the 911 tragedy and how he spent (and continues to spend) millions of dollars to help the families of the many of his employees who died that day. May God bless and watch over him.
This is how the “fake news” {the sky is falling} self destructs.
I recommend watching this “interview” {debate} then watch the Comer/Benny Johnson interview…
The (D)estruction is just about complete…
Finally !!!
Now all We need is a builder/developer to survey the landscape…
Winning…
Bigly.

All I gotta say is this tariff stuff hurts farmers.
The fencing I was going to buy for my farm just went up overnight by 20%!
These tariffs should be done in a surgical manner.
I’d defer that expense for a couple months, then, ’til this resolves. Biden did “surgical”, as Lutnick mentioned. It’s corrupt and ineffective. Best to hash this out macro, top down, and work through it that way.
God I’m glad that guy is on our team!
Howard Lutnick is a gem. Very happy with the job he is doing. Very happy with his experience and ease of explanation.
They are thinking logically. They are selling out their country to advance their political career. It;s traitorous and dishonest but it is logical to them.
That was great!!!
This female propagandist has a lot of nerve talking about “small businesses are concerned about their economic future” when Team Biden and Friends locked down small business during covid because the science said that you cannot get covid in a big box store but can get it in a small business.
They didn’t give a d@mn about “small businesses”. I drive around my city and see all of the empty retail space that used to be occupied by small businesses.
Lutnick and Bessent are 2 of my new “favorite” Trump administration members! These 2 have a great way of explaining things. I love them.
