President Trump’s repeated position that Zelenskyy is refusing to discuss peace because the USA is standing close with him, is exactly the reason President Trump is now going to create distance.
CUT HIM OFF – President Trump is going to force Ukraine to stand without the USA support, only supported by the EU and U.K. It’s essentially a peacekeeping standoff. President Trump wants peace, the Ukranian people want peace, Zelenskyy and the EU/UK are willing to fight Russia to the last Ukranian.
It’s not about sending U.S. military goods into Ukraine, the Trump play can be twofold. (1) We stop paying for their government operations; and (2) potentially we turn off the U.S. satellite targeting systems that Ukraine is using. Then watch what happens.
Secretary Lutnick should supervise CNN. Tell it like it is, K.I.S.S., and speak clearly. What a refreshing bit of clean air. Instead of the usual hot-air we are used to hearing.

I disagree with Lutnick: Zelenskyy is neither a peacemaker nor a troublemaker; he is a puppet, doing exactly as he is told. He is following instructions he received from our politicians immediately before the oval office press release and from EU politicians who insist on more U.S. involvement (money) in Ukraine.
Good for Donald Trump that he is backing away from these people.

That’s how it’s spelled correctly, in his case. Something about the Cyrillic alphabet and masculine/feminine terms. The same last name can be spelled with one y or two.
The final syllable in his name is , if I’m correct, is “ye” (the Russians pronounce it “ya”). In that alphabet, it is represented with a backwards “R”. English has no equivalent.
As the final syllable sounds more like a “y-y” sound, that’s what it’s transliterated to.

I watched this youtube, which someone posted here over the weekend. This expert, Alex Krainer, believes that Z has already signed over the rare earth to UK. To complicate matters, he says that Z is not really the President of Ukraine (due to delayed elections, he is illegally occupying the office). So, UK may end up with nothing for their ‘loans’ that they granted to finance Ukraine’s war.

The narrative they are going with is that sure, Zelenskyy was a disaster in the Oval office because he was rude….
BUT….
Zelenskyy wants the war to end and all he is asking for is a little backstop by the US to the EU/UK effort for peace.
If this deal falls, it is not because Zelenskyy asked for a backstop, it is because Trump is a Russian stooge who wants to end the war to give Putin everything he wants ….AND…
TRUMP wants to steal the minerals that belong to the Ukrainian people
If you are thinking of logical and factual disagreements to that argument you don’t understand how the left thinks.
That is why Z went in and demanded security guarantees and then following that, Starmer made his statement about a US backstop as if Trump had not made clear it wasn’t an option.
That is their narrative and they will take it all the way to demanding an impeachment of Trump for assisting Putin’s efforts to take the Ukraine.
